I absolutely love this company! It’s nice to support a family owned business rather than a big corporation and they treat their customers with care and understanding. I train with Lana 2 days a week for 1 hour and have seen fantastic results. I have more energy and strength than before. Lana comes to me, and is always in a bright and sunny disposition, giving encouragement when I am running out of steam. She has a lot of great routines that we rotate through giving me a variety of exercises. At the end of each session I am tired but feeling great!! Overall I Would highly recommend Alpha Omega.

After being out of the fitness game for several years from a knee injury, I was was looking to ease back into working out and adding some consistency. I found a Groupon for Alpha Omega Personal Fitness and decided it would be a good fit for what I was trying to achieve. Josh had just the type of workout I was aiming for and a great personality to keep me motivated. He has a subtle way of getting you to work hard while he stealthily corrects your form in the process. I was meeting him at Sunshine Park in Jax Beach three times a week for several months, it was very convenient for me and he kept me on task with reminder messages the day before the workout and also a half hour before. His workouts were a mix of cardio, body weight training and free weights. Thanks Josh for all your support, and I will definitely follow your journey as your business grows!

tl;dr - Enjoyed my time with Sharia and the team at AOPF! I would utilize them again and would recommend you sign up with them.

I needed to get in shape because working remotely in a high-stress job (especially during Covid) caused me to neglect my health; my weight skyrocketed over the past two years and my muscle mass plummeted. Figured a personal trainer who comes to me would limit the amount of excuses I could come up with to avoid working out again, so signed on with AO after looking at the local fitness options (including chain gyms, local gyms, CrossFit/Orange Theory and other "specialty places", and private 1-on-1 training).

I saw a lot of benefits in terms of muscle gain, which was recommended to me as the best holistic way to achieve my goals. Saw about an inch of fat loss everywhere during measurements over a few months and set a few weightlifting personal records, which made me happy. I particularly appreciated Sharia's flexibility in changing the workouts as my needs changed - we could change the focus area from arms to shoulders on the fly, or do stretching and cardio for a few weeks, that kind of thing. Sharia is super chill and easy to work with; she is great at keeping me motivated without being aggressive or in-your-face like the CrossFits of the world. I never felt judged for not lifting a lot of weights or being out of shape, which was my primary fear when starting out.

However, I actually ended up gaining three pounds despite the respectable increase in muscle mass and decrease in BMI. The stats and measurements make me think it's mostly muscle gain, but I was hoping to lose more fat. I still haven't seem much change in my abdominal fat. A lot of it is probably diet and stress and I don't blame AO for that, but I feel if AO added a dietician or something to work with, it would help me immensely. After all, working out is important to being healthy, but health is more holistic than that - there's also diet, proper sleep habits, doctor's checkups, stress reduction, and all that. I don't know what I'm doing with macronutrients or carb/protein balances, so having a formal meal plan in addition to my work sessions that we could adjust every few months would have helped.

Also, I think the app is overpriced and wish I could get a copy of my workout regimen without paying ~$16/month for the privilege. I never signed up for the app and don't intend to.

Note - I cancelled due to personal reasons mostly unrelated to AO, not because of any particular issues I had with Sharia or the team.

About a year ago I was looking for a personal trainer to get in shape & get excited about working out again. I decided virtual training was best for me especially with the pandemic & working from home. My trainer was Dimar Hafizovic & from the initial assessment & throughout the year Dimar has been encouraging, knowledgeable & approachable during all our training sessions. Also, scheduling was very easy with Dimar, he is always accommodating when a class date or time needed to be changed. I highly recommend Alpha Omega & Dimar!

I think the services here are great. I came to Alpha Omega at the beginning of this year because I was ready to see results. I wasn't seeing working with myself so I thought I'd bring in a professional. I told my trainer, Jacob, my personal goals and he got on it, getting me a workout plan, answering all my question as soon as possible. Though it was long distance I saw the results I need in the 4 months that I've been training with them. I gained a whole inch and a half on my glutes. My body has become stronger. And I've become more stable with how I eat and with my workout plans.

I started working with Damir in November and have had a great experience! He is super knowledgeable and has helped me lose inches around my waist and helped me gain muscle which was my main problem. He tailored my workouts and program as well as gave my nutritional tips to help me burn more calories in a lesser amount of time than if I had gone to the gym by myself. Alpha Omega Fitness has been fantastic. I have been working with Jacob for almost 5 months. I started with them during my postpartum journey and was really in rough shape. I had gained a lot of weight during pregnancy and it was hard to get back into my normal athletic shape! I am on my way and I love the assessment we do every few weeks to evaluate body fat percentage and inches lost versus just pounds lost. My husband and I are both in our mid-60s. It had been several years since my husband had exercised regularly. Me? Never. I was particularly apprehensive about starting but Josh is such a professional and such a good coach, I knew we couldn't have made a better decision for our health. Josh is fantastic, I am 65 and female. I love working out with him, he keeps it well within my range of motion and yet I still feel so good when I'm done because I have had an exercise workout. He has a great personality and he doesn't make you feel bad if you can't do something. I work out with my younger daughter, and I can still do the same workouts she does but in a different manner and get the same results. I recently moved to the area a few months back, and I was looking for a personal trainer who could come to my home. I came across Alpha Omega Personal Fitness and Josh Smith. This was the best thing I could have ever done!! I have had issues with weight and blood pressure and needed someone who could take me at a pace that was good for me. Also, someone who could fit my schedule. Josh definitely has done those things and more. I have never been big on the gym so he has definitely made things more convenient.

One of the many things I love most about him as my personal trainer is his patience. He never tries to push me to the point where I can’t walk the next day like other trainers I have had in the past. He meets you where you are and finds ways to modify and motivate. The results I have seen in the past 2 months so far include 6-8 pounds of weight loss and about a 5% increase in my muscle mass. I am getting stronger, I feel great, and I can see positive changes every week with my body.

I came with previous injuries to my Rotator Cuff and my knee. I came with a desire to lose 20 pounds and get back into the body I had when I was twenty. I am forty-eight. I needed a trainer who could understand my injuries and provide a workout routine that didn't just avoid those areas, but would incorporate them into the program in a way that would strengthen and heal them. I needed a trainer who would be flexible and work around my schedule. I wanted a trainer who knew about how the body worked, how the muscles developed, and how to get the best results for each individual. I was not looking for a one workout fits all kind of trainer. I was looking for a trainer with experience and an education in this field. I know... a very tall order.

Josh, at Alpha Omega Personal Fitness, has been training me 3 times a week for 5 months now. I reached my weight lose goals in the first 2 months. He has worked with my schedule and my previous injuries. Last year I had to give up running because of my knee injury. I thought wouldn't be able to ever run again. I am happy to say that I am able to run again! I just completed the Spartan Sprint in December and plan to complete the Spartan Super in February. Josh designed my workouts around my needs and goals and the results are undeniable.

I know Personal Training is an expensive undertaking. I get it, but you are your biggest investment. Invest in yourself. You are worth the investment. Josh will help you get the most out of your time and energy. I highly recommend Josh.
