I ❤️ Ambu!! This studio has a place for any level and inspired me to get serious about my practice. I love how there are modifications in every class to accommodate all yogis - beginners to the most advanced! I recommend checking it out regardless of what level you are! Adding yoga to my vaca has truly enriched my experience on this very special island. 🙏

Yali runs a beautiful, tranquil, and very clean studio with props, towels and a great schedule to boot...best place on Sanibel or Captiva for yoga! It's worth the twenty min drive from Sanibel! I did flow and gentle/yin classes all were nicely paced, led well, and assists/coaching given where needed.

I came to Captiva on vacation and wanted to do some hot yoga during my stay. I found Ambu and was so excited to be able to meet Yali and practice with her. She is truly a unique instructor and really cares about each of her students. She remembered my name and my husband's name each day we came back. I also introduced my brother in law and sister in law to yoga and she was so patient and really took the time to go through the flow with them so they could learn the poses properly. She even gave us sweaty hugs after each class. I really enjoyed it and can't tell you how amazing she is. It isn't everyday that you connect with an instructor like she connects with her students.

Ambu Yoga has a special place in my heart. I was there for a week leading up to my wedding and committed to practice yoga every day. Instructor and owner Yali, unknowingly became a source of inspiration through her kind words and teaching. If you love heat, the heating system is magical - I had never experienced anything quite like it - it felt like a perfect day in the sun. However, there were also options for non-heated classes which were just as awesome. In my opinion, the yoga was suitable for all levels - in other words, you could modify to make it as challenging as you'd like. When I return to Sanibel / Captiva, I will be right there in the studio every morning, front row. I highly recommend Ambu Yoga.

While visiting Captiva Island on vacation, my husband and I joined a warm yoga class one morning at Ambu Yoga and LOVED it. The staff was friendly and inviting. The class was great for every level of yoga practice helping to guide beginners but also challenging more advanced participants. Be prepared to sweat in this class! We left feeling recharged and invigorated!
