American Tiger Karate is a mixed martial arts school located in Avon Park, Florida. With emphasis in traditional martial arts, we combine the teachings of Bruce Lee’s
Jeet Kune Do and the Korean art of Tae Kwon Do. Specializing in sports karate, grappling, point fighting, traditional weapons, self-defense, fitness and exercise.
This creates a program that builds confidence,
skill and stamina. Family friendly atmosphere.

I recently hosted my four-year-old’s birthday party at this dojo, and it was an absolutely fantastic experience! The owner was simply spectacular—so attentive and on top of everything. The attention to detail was truly a 10 out of 10. The dojo was spotless, and the owners were incredibly sweet and welcoming, making sure everything went smoothly. I couldn’t have asked for a better venue for my child’s special day. Highly recommend this dojo for parties and events!"
