Amped Signature – West Palm Beach
I was disappointed with my experience at Amped Signature. Despite being open for only about a year, the facility already feels run down. Several pieces of equipment are out of order, and the cardio options are very limited. The overall cleanliness is lacking, and the spa area in particular is poorly maintained. For a gym of this caliber, I expected a much higher standard.

My experience at this gym was five star. Amazing staff, amazing decor, amazing equipment, very clean. If I believe correctly I think Cassy was at front desk. She is amazing. I live in Miami and was in town for the day hence why the trial. Would go everyday if I lived in the neighbourhood!

I was a member here for a year until about a month ago when my daughter was violently chocked by another child in the childcare area a child that I was told had a history of this behavior in the childcare area not only wasn’t I notified when it happened but only found out when I went to pick my child up and can clearly see how scared and bothered she was this incident lead to us canceling our membership which created another issue they wouldn’t waive any of the fees forced me to pay another month for me and my wife plus another month of personal training which in total was nearly $1,000 which is clearly unfair my daughter refused to return there so what could we do to this point upper management refuses to contact me AKA Clay and Lewis I’ve sent them multiple email but I guess there to good to contact me guess we don’t matter guess my daughter getting choked by a boy 2x her size in there childcare area isn’t important don’t come to this place the staff there at the facility care but they have no support or respect from corporate or upper management there’s better places to spend your money.

I LOVE THIS GYM. The staff are all so nice and welcoming, and the decor is definitely unique! Nothing like a family of plaster tigers to push me through my last set ❤️. The layout Is great, the machines are very well maintained and monitored by the staff, which is so appreciated. My gym membership at Amped is one of my most valued self-care and wellness investments in staying fit and strong long into my future. If you have a chance, at least give this place a tour- if anything it will be a pleasant and memorable. 5 stars!

Horrible management. I had to move and there’s no Amped Fitness by me. They wouldn’t pause my account or let me cancel it. When I’m back in the area, I will not be going back to Amped Fitness. I will choose their competitor. A friend of mine who is also going to amped, got into a horrible car accident where her sister died and she had a hangman fracture barely escaping, becoming a paraplegic …she is not allowed to drive, work and especially go to the gym… they wouldn’t pause her membership until she recovered. I wouldn’t give these people money if they were the last gym on earth.

I’m so incredibly aggravated by the decor. Instead of turning this into a theme park, they could put some mirrors up and turn the lights on. Literally imagine trying to get a pump staring at a plastic Poseidon. I just want a mirror. Also, all the silly decor causes nothing but dust. Why did they do this? So much potential gone to waste. The fact that somebody has gone to the expense and the trouble to decorate this huge space as opposed to having a boring plain space says a lot. Quirky, funky, but very functional. This gym is immaculate, has great equipment, great staff, can't fault it one bit.

This GYM is an absolute scam!!!! They are forcing me to pay 650$ to cancel my membership!!!!!

I joined last year on a month to month basis with the ability to cancel anytime.

After a few months I moved and asked to stop my membership and they said because i did not give 30 days notice i had to pay 1 months penalty. About 150$ I tried to resolve the matter with them but they refused even though i was reassured when joining that I could cancel anytime with no penalty.

I then decided to take it up with my bank to block any payment from that gym.

LOW AND BEHOLD I GET A CALL FROM A DEPT COLLECTOR THAT I OWE THEM 650$!!!!!!!!!!! Even though I cancelled my membership with them!!!

I have heard from other people that this gym was scamming people but i can’t believe this is the extent!

I will be hiring a lawyer to solve this matter. This is a warning for everyone DO NOT JOIN THIS GYM! THEY ARE A SCAMMM!!!

I would give 0 stars if possible. Have tried calling since March, the 3rd month of the year. It is now June, the 6th month of the year, and still have not received a call-back after I have been told 4 previous times that the GM, Jackie, would contact me. I cancelled my membership in Feb/early March, however, my account was sent to collections.

Jackie the GM signed me up, knowing I only wanted to join for 1 month. I cancelled about a week later. I now owe near $700, have creditors calling me every day, and my account went to collections and has impacted my score.

I wanted to leave an unbiased review as someone who was on a day pass: I would give a 5 star but I was only there one day so small sample size. 4.5 stars

Staff:
The guy at the front desk was super cool and nice, I can’t speak for all the likely “front desk workers are great” fake reviews, but my interaction with the front desk was as normal and respectful as can be.

Gym:
I came around 3:30, and it wasn’t busy. The first thing I noticed was the vibe and abundance of equipment. After further inspection, I saw and tried machines I’ve never seen before. Purely gym, this is a 10/10. Good amount of power racks, lots of good equipment, and decent amount of cables. The Jungle Room was also pretty cool to warm up in, I just fear once it really busy that room would be unusable.

**IT IS HOT IN HERE WARNING**:
but I don’t mind personally. I enjoy a sweat, it makes me feel like I’m working hard, lifting doesn’t always make you sweat. I’d prefer that over a gym with super cold AC.

Vibe:
I really enjoy the theme in here. It’s very unique. The lights the colors the signs, super cool.

Amenities:
The locker room was nice. Not much else to say. It wasn’t dirty. The sauna was nice.
The Spa was Great. I really enjoyed the infrared saunas and cold plunges. Super cool.

Overall a really good experience.

For those complaining about the price, you can’t go through life with beer budget and champagne taste. It’s a high end gym, I don’t mind the price. The only thing I would suggest is child care for extra cost (more tailored -for children under 8). I don’t mind the cost but it would be incredible if you had a more high end child care service.

I use the gym in the mornings. Clean gym. Weights usually racked where they are supposed to be.

They have 6 squat racks so there is usually one available. For some of the popular machines they have two or three variants.

Locker rooms are clean. Showers are clean. Always have towels available.

Gym is very clean and has good decor. The gym is definitely on the pricey side though for no pool and no basketball court. Six squat racks, lots of machines, and dumbbells up to 125#. Also wish there were more cable machines for such a large gym; those are probably the only machines you'll be stuck waiting for. You can tell that Jacqui, the manager, really cares about keeping the gym in great shape.

Simply not worth it. Overpriced, some amenities are NOT 24 hours which is very inconvenient, you cannot bring a guest after 9pm so I can’t even bring my girlfriend when we get off work (we are servers). Some front desk people have weird attitudes that are a mixture of rudeness/arrogance. If you have an EOS gym near you, go to EOS instead. They have all the same amenities and all are available 24 hours at only $30 per month instead of $150.

AMAZING childcare staff and pristine facility

I can’t say enough good things about this gym. From the moment we enrolled our daughter at 14 months old, the childcare staff—Ms. Jaheida, Ms. Alyssa, Ms. Ella, and Ms. Cailyn—have been nothing short of incredible. They’re caring, attentive, and truly make my daughter feel safe and happy. She LOVES going to the kids club, and knowing she’s in such great hands gives me total peace of mind while I work out.

The facility itself is immaculate. The gym floor, bathrooms, locker rooms, and spa showers are always spotless and smell amazing. You can really tell how much care goes into maintaining every part of this gym.

The front desk team is also exceptional. Welcoming, helpful, and always willing to go the extra mile. One time I lost my keys, and the staff literally had all hands on deck helping me find them, even offering to check security footage. Above and beyond service!

On top of that, I’ve accidentally left my AirPods behind more than once, and every time they’ve been safely returned to the front desk. That says a lot about the integrity of both the staff and members here. It’s truly a high-trust environment.

I also have to shout out the pickleball class with Coach Alex. An awesome, friendly space for all levels. I started as a beginner and have grown to an intermediate level thanks to this class.

One thing I never expected to appreciate so much: the lighting! After visiting another gym while out of town, I realized how much I love the warm, non-harsh lighting here. It’s a small detail, but it makes a big difference.

If I had to nitpick, I’d love to see the addition of women’s 15kg barbells and a little more floor space in the jungle room instead of decor. But honestly, those are small things in what has been an amazing experience overall. I highly recommend this gym to anyone, from total beginners to seasoned athletes.

I feel very comfortable at this gym! Cleanliness is very important to me and they do a good job. I also love seeing Austin when I’m there because he is so friendly and acts as if he’s really interested in how I’m doing. I’m a 6 day a week regular at this gym and have been since day one. I want to say that aside from the beautiful atmosphere it’s the staff that have me convinced this is the best gym in WPB. I come every morning at 5am and the guy at front desk Austin S is one of the most welcoming and courteous of their team. I genuinely look forward to saying hello to this guy. I highly recommend Amped Signature.
