Andrew changed my health, my fitness, my body, and my confidence. I am a cancer patient, who was going through chemotherapy, radiation, immunotherapy, and just the toughest cancer treatment you could imagine. I wanted to re-vitalize my mitochondria, become healthy again despite all the medicine I had to endure, and despite my general health being pretty poor. I never worked out or exercised before Andrew. I I had very little experience in connecting with my body, learning physical movements, balance, coordination, lifting any weight, and I was simply unable to do a squat, a sit up, a push up (even modified)- I was lifting a can of beans to start! Now, because of Andrew, I have muscle tone, I am fit, I can squat up to 50 lbs, I can do 30 regular push ups over 3 sets, I can carry my groceries, I can do sits up without a hitch, I have my body back. I am healing from cancer but I could not have done it without him. He was kind and patient with me. He was understanding, he knew when to push it, and when to take it easy. He took everything slowly but ramped it up when needed. He was proud of me every step of the way, and he taught me, with every move, how to exercise. I had to take some time off to travel for my cancer recovery trip (I really wanted to see the world a bit after this scare and concern for my life) but despite having more than 3 months learning from him- I will still need him when I come back from travels to level up. And he is the only person I can trust to do that. He was always flexible with his schedule, he respected our time, and came right into our home and started the workouts with a smile and good energy, despite having some hard days himself. He never let his own situation overshadow our workouts. He was professional, respectful, and just an overall good human being. But most of all, he taught me how to use my body, he taught me how to exercise, and he taught me how to heal. The workouts became my lifeline, the most important part of my day. Even though I had food poisoning, or I was sick from chemo or exhausted from radiation, I still showed up. And he took an account of how I felt and went from there, adjusting the workout. I have biceps now, I have triceps- I have glute muscles, I have back muscles. I have a good shape. I have abs!! I credit him with all that. Before him, I wasn't able to handle the workouts for senior citizens on Youtube!! Now, I can smoke them all. I was at my weakest and he was the only one skilled enough to handle it. I will return to him after I have some travel time- and still try to employ what he taught me in the interim. Thank you Andrew for all the hard work you do. I hope you know how much you have helped others.

I chose Andrew as my trainer in Brickell because he has 25 years of experience, understands the importance of diet and nutrition, and caters his training program specifically to your body and metabolic type.

Andrew brings the right intensity and attitude to the gym which has pushed me to hit new strength goals. His guidance on proper technique and form along with vast knowledge of different lifts have produced amazing results for my body. I continue to reach new weight max’s which I thought would take much longer with the exercises I did in the past. I am very happy with the muscle gain I put on in the past two months.

In terms of diet, I’ve always had trouble gaining weight and muscle. Andrew crafted a daily diet plan for me to follow that included things like number of meals I should be eating, what type of food, protein and carb percentage, and even taught me to cook some delicious and super easy to make recipes. I’ve even gained 10 pounds of muscle in the last 60 days which I thought wasn’t possible.

I hired Andrew because I wanted to get stronger (to improve my performance in other sports) and “look better” (drop a size or two, tonify and reduce fat); and I can say and I am very happy with the results. In the time that I have been working with Andrew (~4 months), I have gotten stronger than I have ever been, I’ve reduced my body fat % considerably and shifted my overall lifestyle towards a healthier one.
The three things I like most about working with him (and that I have not necessarily experienced with other trainers) are:
1) Consistency – his wholistic program helps me stay consistent (and persistent!) both in my strength training and nutrition goals. Even when I need to travel, Andrew prepares training routines for me to do when away and sets achievable goals with regards to nutrition, making it possible to stay on track even outside my daily routine. Thanks to this consistency I am seeing sustained changes in my body shape and strength.
2) Convenience – Andrew comes to my building gym at Brickell, making it super convenient for me as I only have to take the elevator down to work out. Also, given that we train at my gym, he also shows me movements and routines to do on our “off-days” with the equipment that I have available.
3) His energy! – I have a tough schedule for Andrew (very early in the mornings or late at night) and his energy has been outstanding at every single session, which makes the training fun and something that I look forward to.

My life was in such an amazing place in so many ways. The love of anamazing woman, a great job, everything was going my way. But with the world changing, and my wedding approaching there was one thing weighing on my mind. Weight loss. I was feeling good. But I wanted to feel and look great. When I first started working with Andrew I was way overweight, full of back pain, and needed coffee 5 times a day to maintain my energy. I was tired of feeling sluggish and sick all the time so I decided to look for someone and found Andrew.

Within 6 months I was back to my wedding dress size (which was 30 years ago)! Plus I had lost a total of over 50 lbs! You can imagine what my friends thought of me after that…they thought I did liposuction or took diet pills but it was simply learning how to eat right for me using the system he taught me, plus doing the functional strength training he took me thru a few times per week.

The great thing is I didn’t even want those other bad foods anymore because my body actually craved the ones that were on my list of foods in designed to eat. So I lost cravings, have way more energy, have no more back pain (even while I sit at a desk all day), and don’t NEED coffee to feel alive again.

I have worked with Andrew many times over the past ten years, and I have to say he is the most knowledgeable personal trainer I have ever met. He not only practices what he preaches, but he is also able to incorporate your strengths and weaknesses into each detailed workout. I have always had different nagging injuries from playing baseball.
