Disappointed. Gym is not clean, equipment is worn and heavily used. A/C seems overmatched as it is pretty humid. Treadmills face the unshaded windows, making a very warm experience. Not what I was expecting as someone new to the area.

Obviously this is a very busy gym. Some of the equipment look pretty used and maintained in a way that was satisfactory, but what disappointed me was some of the cardio equipment with NO upper arm bars. My preference.

Honestly, the place needs a little work (equipment, a/c, etc.), but I'll go there for as long as Joe is a trainer there. I've had more trainers in my life than I can count (one-on-one, classes, and everything inbetween), and he's the best and most effective one I've ever worked with.

The bathrooms are clean. And while the cardio equipment is very outdated. It’s possible to complete my goals when I visit. So I updated my review to 4 stars instead of 1.

I joined years ago and have been happy until the last several months when suddenly Ryan wasn't around, window broken and a/c didn't appear to be working.
There was never anyone working. I finally asked another member who told me this gym was sold and Ryan was let go.
I got so frustrated I went to the Anytime in Dunedin, which isn't as convenient but 1000x better.
I came back here today for convenience sake. The gym was empty, and the a/c, over a month later, still isn't working.
I am disgusted and will go out of my way to use another facility now.

Great gym that is in a perfect location! Super clean and the owner is very helpful! Met one of the trainers which was super friendly as well and I like the new equipment. Big plus is that they have a vending machine that stocks a lot of my protein snacks and healthier options!

A gym with virtually everything you need. Very clean facilities and have cardio machines, lifting machines, dumbbells and barbells. The staff is nice and accommodating. It never gets super crowded and has enough equipment to support a decent amount of traffic.

I have been coming to this location for 5 years, great gym up until last week. Ryan the Manager who has been there as long as I have been going to that location up and resigned. Ryan had been very active in the gym regarding to member interaction, keeping the very clean, obtaining new equipment, always greeting members as they come in. The gym sold to a young dude who doesn’t greet members, in his office way to much , not very inviting. I have noticed the gym is empty when it should be busier at certain times. The new owner made a huge mistake letting Ryan resign, Ryan kept that location running top notch. I will be leaving that location. Oh yea , if you buy a gym you really need to work out.

I’ve been training for over 10 years now and this is the first time I’ve ever been hassled about the weight I was using and or the type of lift. Im not a “smith machine” so I guess using barbells is a big No No here. Never again will I come to this Anytime. If you’re serious about your training, please don’t come to this gym. It’s a joke and the manager is a clown.

Love this place. I started a couple weeks ago, this specific facility is ALWAYS clean. Im apart of the early morning crew that comes in and there is always availability.. never have I experienced waiting for an equipment. Ryan is the guy who signed me on and he is very professional and loves his gym. The only suggestion I would make is having an alternate entrance. The other day no ones key fob was working. It sucked cause I had already taken my pre workout.

US 19 and Curlew Anytime Fitness is the cleanest gym I've ever been to in my lifetime. I've been to lots of Anytime Fitness locations and this one is my favorite. They have an excellent selection of equipment with free weights and machines. The staff is very personable and professional.

This location is by far worth the visit. The first thing that comes to mind is cleanliness. Workout areas and the restroom areas are clean. The staff members (Ryan and others) are helpful and alert but not overwhelming like some gym or fitness locations. If your like me, one who workout to relax and get rid of the day's stress, this location makes you feel safe enough to turn up your tunes and relax. I like the fact that it is open 24 hours. This gives customers the opportunity to go when it is most convenient for them.

I have been a member of Anytime Fitness for about a year at the Curlew and US 19 location close to a year. This location is exceptional, very clean, equipments are always wiped down, floors and restrooms are spotless, thanks to RYAN who is constantly on the floor to ensure all is in order.
What I like the most, since I am not an expert in working out is that if you have a question on how to use an equipment or any workout questions Ryan has A great attitude and is always there to help and not in a condescending or judgmental way
For that reason this gym location has Been my only workout location

Saw Ryan today and was really impressed by the selection and quality of equipment. There is no fluff with this gym. Free weight section and racks are more than adequate. Definitely one of the cleaner establishments. I would recommend this to Family or Friends if they wanted a gym in the clearwater/dunedin area.

I love this gym. I utilize four locations consistently. This is not a glamorous club type environment. It's pretty much a sweat gym. The equipment is adequate and it is not overly crowded. I am completely comfortable at Anytime and I will continue with this gym. I have used the gym out of town as well. There is always a location nearby.

Amazing gym! Clean workout areas, weights properly placed, and amazing staff! You can see your money go towards new equipment and updating and cleaning the gym. They also have a virtual 24/7 instructor classes with a lot of classes and time frames to do so! I recommend this gym for anybody needing a 24/7 hour gym or even the normal 9-5’er.

Liz has been my trainer for the past year and I can't say enough good things about her. I have had such a horrible experiences at this gym, it's inexpensive so I have continued to retutn, but enough is enough, i can't take it anymore. The manager Ryan has touched me inappropriately and has made me feel uncomfortable several times. Dave the owner just stares at me in a weird while while I'm working out, and Liz is not a very good trainer at all.

Ryan and the rest of the team there have treated me outstanding from the first minute I walked in the door till today. Hooked me up with a free trial week and really helped get me motivated to start coming back to the gym. It's smaller but feels almost like your own killer personal gym. It's never overcrowded. Every piece of equipment you would need. The price is a little higher then the economy gyms but for the overall value and atmosphere hands down my favorite gym in my almost thirty years of working out. Oh yeah... Lest I forget... I've been to many AF gyms (over 30) and my home membership has changed several times. Now this is my home gym and I plan on staying here. As far as AF gyms go, this is one of, if not the best one, I've been to. Great staff, plenty of room, alot of equipment and usually not too crowded. No complaints.

In reference to the competitors, the gym looks like a basement gym with not much to offer besides free weight training. Was told I could have a guest, but the second time I brought one gym members pretty much interrogated them. Canceled my membership only to pay fees I was never informed about.
