These people are crooks. I signed up for a month to month option last year, and they lied to me about what I was signing. When you sit with them, they tell you what you're signing, rather than give you the time to read through everything. When I call to file a complaint, they cite issues with the previous owners, but they do nothing to address the issues. Not to mention their equipment is extremely dated. Now I'm locked into a contract for two more years with a gym I would never visit.

Edit: All you have to do is remove my account. Clearly I'm not using this gym or any other Anytime Fitness. Stop charging for service I am not using and haven't used. Make right what the previous owner lied about and then locked me into. This review will go away when your team addresses the issues rather than passively claiming you want to help.

Additional Edit: The owner claims to want to assist, but refuses to take my calls or call back. I call once a day and leave a message and never hear from them. It is my perspective that they have no intention of following up on these issues beyond polishing their social media presence.

For well over a year they have charged me $40 a month and they have refused to honor even a cancelation fee to end contract, yet they cite they offer this option to multiple other recent low reviews. Yet, I can't even get a call back to discuss this option.

What a terrible experience I’ve had at this gym. First, I signed up because my husband was already attending this place. When we enrolled, we asked if we could cancel whenever we wanted, and the person in charge of the registration told us we could simply call and cancel our membership if we wished.

Later, we moved to a different area, two hours away from the gym we used to go to. When we visited the local branch near our new home, we decided to quit because most of the machines were broken and many were missing.

But when we tried to cancel, we were told it wasn’t possible—that we were locked into a one-year contract and would have to pay $250 to cancel, which is completely absurd. In other words, the contract we signed from day one was misleading advertising, and the manager, who was supposed to offer us a possible solution, was as rude as could be!

Well everything starts when i bought a house in Dade city.. not many gyms around the area, so i join… i was coming from eos fitness and previous then that LA fitness.. with that been said my standards were at a higher level, well everything here its old and almost every other week one or two machines were damage. But it doesnt stop there. I get marry and i added my wife , after 3 months i get relocated 120 miles from my previous address well no problem i will go to another one thats local, well i hated this gym… we join planet fitness, so after 2 months leaving at my new address i called to cancel and found out i have to either come in (21/2 hour drive or send them a letter stating i wanna cancel, but al stuck with my wifes contract for a year, paying them $25 byweekly or pay an early termination fee of $250.. please do not join this franchises .. manager wasnt helpfull at all…

My wife and I came across this gym while on vacation in Zephyrhills. We stopped in and spoke to Lloyd, who gave us a great deal on a week membership. This is a fantastic gym, especially for the small space that it's in. They have an awesome selection of equipment, including Rogue cages/bars/plates for more athletic style training. They've even got a turf strip and a sled (admittedly, the selling point for me when we were researching). I've got nothing bad to say about it. Thanks a ton, Lloyd. We will see you next year!

I went to this gym for a while but it's far from my house and I had to leave because it was difficult for me to go every day but I'm eagerly waiting for them to open one in San Antonio. I'm very grateful to the owner who always treated me well and solved a problem I had and was interested in my situation at all times. The owner is super professional. I recommend the gym 100%, the cleanliness is excellent, the machines too and I love the part where you can do crossfit.

Decent equipment selection, but the row machines are placed upright so you'd have to tilt them down to get on them, which seems cumbersome and not worth the risk of damaging the equipment. Also has some gym bros that stand around taking up the whole walkway between the benches and cable machines when they workout.

I left this gym in 2021 during the pandemic. It’s small and kind of claustrophobic. It’s often kinda dark and dim and the people that work out here are not super friendly. I went to the planet fitness instead. It’s clean cheaper and actually has lighting.

Padding on equipment is worn off. A bit warm and I usually like warmer, but not to work out. After several texts and phone calls, still no confirmed appointment with free trainer for bd, last October and I think you get one free one for joining. Office staff were hardly there during office hours or out of sight during my whole visit. I quit going around February, 2023.

Last straw was someone sitting and texting on equipment. I waited, then asked if she was almost done. I finished the rest of my workout and went back. She was sitting there, talking to someone, whose wife was teaching the Zumba class, every Tuesday, and he was facing me. I sat, waiting for her to get off equipment, patiently, finally gave up. Maybe I should have asked her again, this time to sit somewhere else and visit. But I kept waiting, watching, to see if they would show some courtesy, and myself, patiently waiting, thinking he'd see me and say something.

Bathroom is clean, usually nicely stocked, only one, with a shower inside.

I usually go to Planet Fitness, where I wear layers, with their A/C on, taking them off as I work out. There equipment is padded.

I canceled my subscription the beginning of August. When August 15th roled around I was still charged. I tried calling several times with no luck. Finally I called the main hub. They first gave me a fake number then told me that someone at the facility restarted my subscription without my consent. They said they took my bank info off the subscription but I have not heard back from anyone as of yet.

I've been working out here for years. It's a good community. I left my phone on the rowing machine at 8am today and forgot it. It was still in the same spot when I went back to get it at 7:30 this evening. Feeling safe like that is rare in this world. Sorry I hogged the machine all day, Guys.

Canceled same day we signed up. Charged 30 days later. Reported to my bank for fraud. "Manager" was rude and unprofessional on the phone. Said that the things I was saying was not truth and if I continued to say them she would disconnect the call. Refused to give me a corporate complaint number. When asked for proof that she was doing something about it we were told she gave her word. How am I supposed to believe the word of someone defending a liar. Someone I had proven lied to me. Signed up and canceled over a month ago and she told me it was canceled on the 26th and I was charged today. Again canceled everything 20 minutes after signing up. The guy who signed us up had my wife sign the waivers and things for me. So again more fraud.

The gym is small and cramped. It’s also overpriced at $40 a month with what the manager told me was a military discount. You can only take guests during staffed hours which is not an issue at most gyms when they open at 6 AM except at anytime the staff hours don’t start till 10 AM. So those of us who have normal jobs to go to can’t work out with a guest before work because most of us start work at 8 or 9 AM. And it’s very difficult to talk to anybody who works there because they’re never on time and they never answer the phone. Took 3 days of stopping in at 10 am before I actually was able to talk to the manager and she still didn’t show up till 10:20 AM. I would not recommend this location to anyone.

I'm a snowbird and was looking for a place to workout during my 3 month stay in Dade City. They offer a very reasonable 3-month membership package so it "worked out" great.

Always neat and clean and the staff is very helpful. I even got a free hour with trainer Bill to show me how to use the equipment. I plan on returning next year.

This gym is superb! Since day 1 they have welcomed me and have become my family. They have great equipment in excellent condition. The gym is very clean and well maintained. The expansion has made way for their bootcamp classes which are the best around. Bill Zeranski, the head trainer, is the best you will find. Marisol, the manager, keeps everything in top notch condition and takes care of her members. This is the best gym Dade City has to offer!

Everything you need to get fit. A small gym but the equipment is in good shape. The members keep mostly to themselves. So if you're looking for a social gym, this one is not for you. They are starting a Zumba class that will liven things up. I wish they offered yoga as well. Also, not all Anytime fitness centers are available to the silver sneakers. I was very disappointed in that.

I've been to multiple Anytime Fitness locations, and while I don't have anything negative to say about them, the Dade City location is my favorite. For some reason, the layout just feels more comfortable. I don't feel like I'm in a box with everyone staring at me. Also, it's incredibly clean. There are spray bottles with towels all over, and the restrooms are clean and smell pleasant. The entire staff has been nothing but friendly and helpful, particularly the young woman who oversees the gym. She seems like she runs a tight ship, and I appreciate that.

I've actually been to several Anytime Fitness locations now and this is by far the biggest and best one I've been to yet!! They have bumber plates, kettlebells, ropes, sleds, everything. I was more then impressed. The staff seemed very friendly as well.

I am in Dade City for a few weeks and needed a gym. Anytime Fitness was a good choice for me.

The staff is nice and efficient; the facility is clean and well maintained; the equipment is in excellent condition. I like to work out with machines and they have a nice selection of life fitness brand machines.

The members are a good mix of all types. age, gender, ethnicity, fitness level, anyone wanting a gym workout will feel comfortable here.
