I only use this location 5-6 times per month when traveling and I wish it was my home location! Clean, well equipped, and extremely friendly. Having used multiple locations this is a favorite. Lots of space for functional and strength training, and pretty view on the cardio equipment ☀️

Awesome gym. They have almost every workout machine and variety of weights possible! The perfect amount of various cardio machines. I also love the fact they are open 24 hours a day. The place is always kept clean. The staff is friendly and helpful. This is a serious gym compared to Planet Fitness or Crunch.

Anytime Fitness on College Pkwy has everything I need for an effective workout, machines and free weights and much more. There are personal trainers and a nutritionist available who will help too. The place is spotless and the people there both working and the members are super nice. I highly recommend for anyone looking to get fit or stay fit.

The most equipment I’ve seen in an Anytime Fitness so far, with some I haven’t even seen before. Quite a selection of location exclusive merch but unfortunately they do not have any 100% cotton shirts. Also, nice selection of protein snacks. Equipment could use refreshing as some are getting old and outdated. Also, the board is awesome!

Not sure about the comparison to other gyms. I’m visiting from CA. New roof being installed I’m guessing due to hurricane damage. Couldn’t find cubby’s. Bikes are very old and tilting. Couldn’t get programming to work. Very warm inside. Very disappointing. Dude on bike next to me is too close. Everyone touched the same pray bottle to clean equipment. Gross

One of the best Anytime Fitness/Gyms in the entire country. So many legendary pieces of hammer strength equipment that have all but gone extinct. As other gyms have chosen cookie cutter, ego driven, ease of use life fitness garbage the Fort Meyers anytime sticks to the tried and true workhorses that actually take effort and coordination in order to properly use. The metal plates, metal dumbbells, and all around vibe feels like the same environment that so many of the great physiques of the 1990s and early 2000s were created in. I hope they never change. A true 1 of 1 that checks all of the boxes.

I'm a former manager of an Anytime Fitness and with my business I travel extensively across the Southeastern United States. I have visited multiple anytime fitnesses from Texas to Florida, and I have to say this one is the cleanest, the largest, and the best equipped Anytime Fitness I've been in so far. It's interesting how some gyms are always full on the fitness side and others are usually full on the free weights side... this one leans more toward the metal gym and the fitness spaces are usually pretty available. That said, for a smallish footprint they pack in a lot of machines and enough free weights... probably could use more space around the free weight benches, but it's a good and complete gym in a compact space. Nice trainers and manager too.

This place has some construction going on. I normally go to the facility in Punta Gorda. This one has better cardio equipment than Punta Gorda. However punta gorda has bigger space to do core exercises and more restrooms. So it is a toss up. I like anytime fitness since we travel a lot and because I feel like I am getting good bang for my buck. I am 72 and have been going to gyms since I was 13 years old.

Been a member of Anytime Fitness for 10 years now and was trying to see if there was one in the area because I was on vacation from Louisville KY and hoped they would have one nearby. After asking around, this location was suggested.I was expecting it to be small but well equipped as most are, and this was no exception, but the dumbells went up to 150lbs, plus there were machines not available at my gym in KY, so I was impressed. Wished my gym was more like this one...

I have been going to this gym for several years now. It is rather small but has a nice selection of equipment. I always go early, in and out before 730, and it is never very busy out of season. It is a bit pricier than other gyms but worth it for the always clean and rarely crowded facility.
The only down side is during season it takes about 15-20 min longer to work out due to the amount of snowbirds that are members and the small number of machines. Unless it is a cardio machine there is normally only 1 of each type.

The first person that you'll probably see is the manager, Rick Harrison. He is always friendly and always willing to help out with any questions you may have. My 23 year old son is new to the area and was looking for a gym to join. He went to Anytime Fitness on his day off from work and was immediately treated like a pauper. ??? (He was wearing khaki shorts,white t-shirt, & ball cap.) He had some general questions to ask, but was told "it can get a little pricey here so you may want to go somewhere else."
So heads-up: I guess Anytime Fitness requires you to wear a three piece suit when you come to join in order to show them you can afford the place.

HORRIBLE! BEWARE!!!! So hot inside you feel sick. Feels like the AC is broken and they're too broke to fix it maybe? Place has gone down hill. The manager Richard is aggressive and rude. A lot of members are leaving because Richard makes them feel uncomfortable. My wife and I should never feel unsafe in a local business and we left for somewhere that has managers with some class, instead of degenerates pretending to be managers.

Been a member for years but, they apparently let people call you fat and try to fight you.

I don't feel safe there because the person me and tried to fight me on two separate occasions. Management refused to follow their contract, which explicitly says he would be removed. I am afraid if I keep going he will continue escalate things.

Management also told me that he was probably bipolar, unstable, had nothing to lose, and buys into conspiracy theories. These are all red flags, making me concerned for the safety of anyone there.

Location is fine, at least it’s very convenient for me. I send the request for 1 free week what they offer online, unfortunately they declined their own advertising for this location and offered me 1 day pass. Okay, what you’re goin to learn in one single day? Maybe just the equipment ? You’re not even able to meet with personal trainer, do leg and upperbody the very same day. This gym isn’t cheap. Week pass here is $30, when all other gyms in the area offer not only free month, but cheaper monthly plans.
Sad, that you’re not standing your own advertising. Maybe you just don’t need new members, who knows.
