Anytime Fitness in Lake Placid is a great place to work out. I have been a member here for three years and the owners Greg & Lisa are super friendly, always on site & ready to help or answer questions when needed. The atmosphere is very pleasant. There is a variety of equipment suitable for most levels of fitness. Highly recommend.

Recently transferred to Anytime Fitness in Lake Placid from another local gym. Found the owners, Lisa and Gregg to be very welcoming, friendly and helpful. Gym has a variety of good equipment to suit your needs. I would highly recommend his gym !!

Very old equipment. Not maintained at all especially the cardio equipment which should have been replaced with new 10 years ago.
***Interestingly, the egotist pompous owner told me, “You are no longer welcome in my facility,” Just because of my post!

My favorite place to work out. Lisa and Greg are great. They have any piece of equipment that you may need for a workout as well as plenty of free weights. Weekly classes are a plus. Lots of bikes and treadmills where you don’t have to wait.

This is a great facility. I've been pleased at how well maintained the equipment and facilities are. Greg and Lisa are great with all ages. Being an older woman I was apprehensive but they are able to tailor a program to all ages and needs, highly recommend.

BEST. GYM. EVER. I won’t lie I used to think bigger was better but not anymore, they have exactly the right amount of equipment needed and then their ownership, dedication and commitment to their members make everything that much better!! There is NOTHING they won’t do for their members and it’s just a beautiful thing to witness!! 10 out of 10 this is the exact kind of gym I want to go to and can’t recommend it enough!!!

So I am NOT the workout type, but I got married a week ago and I wanted to get in shape for the wedding…the wedding is over and I still look forward to going into the gym now and that’s 100000000% because of the owners Lisa & Greg!! They make everyone feel like family, they make sure everyone is comfortable there and the only way I would ever leave this gym is if they left! We have a cabin in blue ridge Georgia and we wanted to get a workout in while we were up there a couple months ago but I quickly realized it’s not the gym it’s the people and even though the gym up there was bigger, I just couldn’t wait to get home and back in the lake placid gym with Lisa & Greg where I feel comfortable!!! Thank you guys for everything you do!!!!

The only gym in town to workout using a variety of exercise equipment. Signs are posted around the gym to remind members who use the exercise machines to clean them and wipe down after each use. A friendly environment, clean facility, with a workout instructor if you need one. Conveniently located, try for yourself and draw your own conclusion. Bye-bye 👋 LARRIO

I use Anytime Fitness probably 3 times a week, sometimes mornings, sometimes afternoons.
Never to busy for me, everyone wipes down the equipment after use, 3 bathrooms ( always clean)
Nobody ever bothers anyone, I come in for 2 hours every couple days and it works out great for me. Greg or Lisa have always answered all questions that I have had, I’ve had no issues for months now so I’ve been VERY HAPPY NO COMPLAINTS. 👍

Awesome. No shaming of any kind. Very helpful staff got me set up on a starter program. Wish I had became a member sooner. It's been just over a month since I joined. I can't give Lisa and Greg enough praise. They really go out of their way to help with your workout and answer any questions. I've already met several nice people while working out. The run a clean gym and the bathrooms are spotless.

Vacationing locally and since there is not an Anytime near my home, just wanted to have a place for one week. Greg and Lisa accommodated my wife and I with a package to meet our needs perfectly. That worked out great, but then I got to see and use the facility. What a great place! Newer, well-maintained equipment, very clean facility with a broad array of machines, free weights, and other training equipment! Met my needs perfectly! As a bonus, the other people working out were friendly and considerate. All ages and fitness levels helping each other side by side. Very nice to be a part of!
I will be back in the area soon and already have this location loaded in my phone so I can come back!

Anytime Fitness in Lake Placid is a great gym. It is clean and comfortable and the equipment is well maintained. There is a great choice of equipment to choose from. The staff is great as well.

Lisa is my fitness trainer and she is just wonderful. Lisa is very professional and very knowledgeable about fitness. She is patient and has great communication skills. She quickly figured out my fitness level and set up a routine to help me maximize my training. I would highly recommend Lisa to anyone.

Definitely my favorite gym out of all the gyms I’ve been a member of. The gym is always extremely clean and all the equipment is kept in great condition. They have a mini fridge with pre workouts and protein shakes that you can buy even when they’re not open by writing your name and what you took on a piece of paper and sliding it under the office door, this is very helpful to someone like me who usually hits the gym around 3am. Everyone who works and goes here are very nice and considerate of other gym goers. Staff is extremely helpful on your fitness journey always very motivational and willing to answer questions. I highly recommend this gym to anyone interested.

I came here from another gym. This is a nice place. It is clean and well maintained. The owners are working every day at the gym. They are on the floor helping members. When you sign up the owners make an appointment where they evaluate your body and help you get started with the equipment. There are different memberships available. And your membership covers worldwide use of any Anytime Fitness gym.

Greg & Lisa are fantastic people and run a very clean , well organized establishment. They are always available for any questions and extremely friendly. They make fitness a lifestyle and are positive and genuine with their members. I could not recommend a better gym to be a member of. There are security cameras, a key fob entrance, the showers are very clean and are provided with body wash and shampoo. The equipment is very well maintained and diverse. There is an abundance of cardio machines, and many other features that any fitness enthusiast or brand new member will find useful and fantastic. Its easily the best gym in Lake Placid.

This is a great gym with a friendly staff. I wish the pricing were better but I understand it due to it being 24/7 access and not having a huge customer base being located in Lake Placid. They have to make money somehow. Everything in here is clean, functioning well, and respected by staff and gym members. There's a room in the back for larger classes/activities and really nice showers for after working out.

The equipment is 1st class, and the gym is spotless! The owners are very friendly, and very helpful. They have personal trainers if you want or need them. They also have exercise classes taught by an awesome instructor. She has 2 classes on Monday, Wednesdays, and Friday mornings, and 1 class in the evenings Tuesday' Thursday, and Fridays I believe. I would recommend this gym to anyone. Stop by and see what they have to offer you won't be disappointed!

Gym was great. I was in from out of town and needed a place to lift. The lady working was super helpful. Out of her way helpful. I showed up 1 min before she was scheduled to leave. Half expecting her to tell me I was too late. She was awesome. Gym is super clean. I lift 6-7 days a week at gyms all of the country. This place has everything thing you need to get a workout in. Of the anytime fitnesses I have been to it is the nicest one I have been to, and they all have honestly been decent.

The gym is way too small and all the machines are cramped in an unorganized clutter in the center of the room. They don’t allow you to deadlift any real weight due to the ground not being supported. Like what kind of gym is that? They have one rack that’s used for people that want to bench, squat or OHP so if someone is already on it, be ready to spend time waiting for them to be done. Definitely made the wrong choice in going here

Why anytime fiteness lake placid is not like others?
Today the manager stop me in the middle of my workout while i was doing deadlift (270lb) .
Why : because the ground doesn't support also the noise scary people .
I don't understand why the ground of this lake placid anytime fitness is defferente than other anytime fitness. 😵

The gym is so small compare to other anytime fitness also there only 1 spote for barbelle . so u should make line if u found someone there.

There's few utilities like other gym like kb ...

Convenient location. I like the equipment.

On the negative side, the music is played too loud, and I say this as someone who comes in without my hearing aids in. Too much loud talking, including by the owner. Although dropping weights is against the rules, they let people do it with impunity. Very distracting. Carpet is getting soiled and rather than give it a deep cleaning they're trying to cover the dirty odor with scented oil infusion.

The owner and Trainers are very rude and non professional. I have had an anytime fitness membership for almost two years. I have went all across states using their many gyms. I have never been so rudely treated. The owner asked if he could speak to me and I said sure. He was informing me that I needed to take a picture for my key fob. I asked him do you have any form of proof saying I have todo this. His responses was NO! At this point we are standing in the office (The owner, another worker, and myself) When one of the trainer pushes me out of the doorway walk around the desk and says have a set. I told her no thank you, she laughs and says not you as she motioning another person to come in. That's when I turned way. That right there was ignorant on her part because that office was already occupied with people doing business.
