Anytime Fitness Odessa has everything this busy Mom if two kids could want. As a serious exercise fanatic, I have been a member of several gyms in my lifetime, including The YMCA, LA Fitness, and YouFit but none of them provided me the early morning hours (4am) that I needed. Anytime Fitness is clean, friendly, and rarely crowded. I’ve been there to workout several different times throughout the day and I’ve never had difficulty getting onto a machine (unlike YouFit where, yes, it was $10 a month but was always packed). Gyms are a personal preference, and Anytime Fitness Odessa is mine!

Although this specific location has an long history of residency the owner, staff, & trainers present all express great pride in fitness & healthy living, cleanliness, & providing updated & amazing exercise equipment...truly love Anytime Fitness gym standards!

Stay away before they trick you into signing a contract that is unclear on agreements. Overpriced in comparison to other gyms that offer $10 monthly subscriptions. Dont be fooled. Stay away!

The owner of this facility (or later to find the guy who calls himself the owner) came close to running me over in the parking lot as I was setting up my bike to ride on a nearby trail. After getting out of his car and glaring at me for a while I finally asked what was wrong and why he almost hit me. Apparently he didn't like that people park there to use the trail (and not the gym). He had a few choice words for me and so I left in fear he was SO angry, he'd do something to my car. This area is behind a bank used by many trail goers not disruptive to his business (of which the parking lot was empty - go figure). He very poorly represented this business and instead of welcoming a potential customer to the gym, he told me go exercise because I looked like I needed it. Lol. Wow, way to build a business. I live in the area and wouldn't recommend any of my friends giving money to such a rude, unprofessional man.

This gym it self and the equipment were always clean and in great working condition. Organized well so that even when the gym was crowded you could easily continue your workout. Will say that I encountered a disrespectful employee by the name of James who, to say the least, has no customer service skills and is anything but professional.

This location is the cleanest, best equipped location my wife, myself, and my neighbors have ever been in. The customer service is outstanding and the equipment is perfectly maintained. As far as anyone "bashing" the management, or customer service, they are simply crazy!! The owner their is a nice, old school, no nonsence guy that is beyond accomodating unless you are outright beligerent or disrespecting the gym or other members in any way, which we all appreciate. Even then, he is professional and does not "cuss people out". lol. He does enforce proper gym etiquette which is refreshing these days. P.S. the steroid comment is very funny being James the owner only competes in all natural shows and is a hard core opponent of drugs. That post had to be written by a competitor. Keep rockin A.F. Odessa!!!

Very cocky owner who will not admit when his employees are at fault (Short guy on roids with short, dark hair and alligator skin on neck). The female Manager engaged in a verbal altercation with my Work-Out partner because she could not find their friend's membership in the system and was not willing to call their home club to verify. Basically, she called a paying member a liar because of flaws in their club-to-club membership system telling them that they were not a member even though they possessed a key-fob. After leaving due to the fact that they would not allow our friend in, the owner proceeded to call each one of us over the phone and "Cuss us out" for lack of a better term. We have all reported this to Corporate and would never consider utilizing this location again. I have never had a problem with any other location, I go to the both N. Dale Mabry locations as well as the Westchase location regularly without any complaints. I would recommend doing the same for anyone else new to the area and/or Anytime Fitness. Extremely disappointing.
