The gym was awesome staff great. However, I was thinking of getting a trainer. I am a travel nurse and was negotiatining another contract in another state which i informed the manager. So i was not set on fully staying. The 3 months contract for 480 a month was told to me. I was never informed by the manager that if i cancel at anytime i would have to pay half of the cost of the 3 months. Had i been aware i would have never acepted
I was never given the contract i sign, neither printed or sent to my email. I placed my signature on somthing i never seen or read. I was only told of the cancelation fee when the said manager called me to ask why i never came in to any of the session. Had i gotten to contract to read over i would have cancel it the same day.

I’ve gone to this gym for going on two years and they PERMANENTLY CLOSED out of nowhere! I showed up to the gym and there was a hand written note on the door with no contact information.

I enjoyed going to this gym while it was open but I am incredibly annoyed I was not informed that they would be closing. It was a hassle to cancel my membership with their parent company and I had to call two different numbers. In addition, I was billed on 11/30 and was informed I will be billed again on 12/30 due to their “30 Day Cancellation Policy”. I was informed I can use their facility in West Melbourne until 12/30 but I would have cancelled my membership or made arrangements last month had I known my main gym on Malabar was closing. I am very annoyed with the whole situation and wish the gym owners would have communicated this change better to their customers.

Great gym. Rarely is it so crowded that you have to wait on any equipment. The place has trash receptacles all over with sanitizing wipes included. You could accomplish any fitness goals here. The staff is also very friendly, though its not always easy to get in touch with them via phone call.

If you want a GREAT Gym to attend go here. They are following Covid Guidelines,Great managemnet,Great staff which includes local Law Enforcement,and great enviroment of people. The bathrooms are always clean and the gym is always tidy and clean. I wouldnt go to any other gym. I am truly greatful for there great managment and staff.

The owners of this gym must be congratulated for their choice of staff and hours of operation. The staff at the Palm Bay branch is professional ,super friendly and polite. I will visit the other guy on Palm Bay Road the next time I'm in Palm Bay. The hours at the Malabar Road gym are suitable to all rats, with a digital key, we are able to workout 24/7. I'm unsure how well this will go down in other cities or states but in Palm Bay, it works.

Love the place. If you want an easy going gym, where you can get a good workout without feeling like you're in a library, this is the place. Never over crowded, open 24 hours a day, plenty of equipment, and mirrors. Oh yeah and it's ok to sound like you're struggling when you are actually struggling to get that last rep or two in without worrying about the noise police. Lol. If that's not enough, it costs half the price of the other gyms around here.

I absolutely love this place. The Owner and his Wife are SUPER helpful ALWAYS!! It is always clean and I have never had any issues ever. My family and I are there at least 3 times a week. The extra programs that they offer are superb. This Anytime Fitness isn't the closest one to our house, but is the one we choose to go to because we love it!

I went in here to use the bathroom on my road trip because I’m in Anytime Fitness member and the bathroom was absolutely disgusting. There was P on the floor and all over the toilet seats; pubic hairs in the sink apparently. It was just disgusting. Definitely would never go back here!

I’ve been to many great Anytime Fitness clubs across the world but this was just revolting.

Then I tried to mind my own business and leave but the owner could sense that something was wrong and he just kept harassing me: he told me that he was going to block me from the location and I should never come back, you couldn’t pay me to go back!

I have been to several Anytime gyms now. I usually visit the Palm Bay Road one but this one is located closest to my house.

PROS
*Lots of equipment
*Equipment is clean and in good condition
*Cubby holes are positioned right in doorway and just past the front desk
*Treadmills have decent amount of channels to watch

CONS
*Uses wet wipes. On most recent visit, 4 out of 5 wipes I pulled were dry as a bone.
*Trash can in women's bathroom is broken in the foot release so it has to be opened by hand.
*No bike rack outside
*Bit crowded with equipment - but they are currently renovating, I guess
*I've been in here 3 times recently - only once did I see someone sitting at the front desk

Overall, this is a decent gym for Anytime, but not my favorite. Unfortunately my favorite is in Sarasota County.

I did have to actually visit the gym to speak to a staff member since the phone doesn’t get answered, they do have odd hours that someone is actually there. The girl at the desk was very sweet and her customer service was great. I was really looking forward to coming here. This gym is unfortunately not worth an almost $40 membership fee - almost the fee of LA fitness.
The gym is not clean and there are weights everywhere, still on equipment and on the floor despite the taped “re-rack weight” signs everywhere. The equipment was not what I expected for that membership fee. The owner should consider lowering their prices until the entire gym is finished (still under construction).

After being a member of Anytime Fitness for 8+ years I tried to cancel my membership. I've held memberships at several different gyms at a time over the years and never had such a hassle cancelling a membership. I have reached out the club and their billing company multiple times in the last month and the membership has still not been cancelled. I was forced to cancel my credit card to stop all the charges.

...Save yourself the aggrevation. There are MUCH better gyms for the price. First of all, this location recently changed because they owed $50,000 in rent that they werent paying. So they moved. That should tell you their personal level of integrity. Secondly, the woman Stacey who works at the front, was literally in tears when I tried to cancel. It was the most bizarre customer service experience of my life. She spent 5 mins talking to her bf on her cell when I came in. She wouldnt make eye contact w me while on her personal call. Then when I asked to cancel my membership she started crying. She was either high, drunk, or extremely emotionally unstable. Anyways, she refused to let me cancel my membership. This place is a 100% SCAM!!!!!

This place sucks. I came to sign in. If you are not member you can't even reach the front desk. They have bell but no one answer. VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE AND DIRTY. Anytime Fitness does not live up to its name. Does it matter that it is open 24 hrs a day when I can't be sure of getting on the equipment when I want it? In the 3 weeks I've been a member, two different treadmills were broken on two consecutive weeks, and an elliptical was down one week. When I went in to inquire about joining, one of my questions was how busy it gets, as the small size of the gym was a concern for me. He pointed and said it was as busy as it gets, and that I would not have to fight over a spot on the equipment. When I talked to the manager about it, he said it gets slower in the summer...but I don't want to deal with this unavailability every busy season. The fitness trainer I've been working with does not seem knowledgeable in answering my questions. As a kicker, the bathroom occasionally smells of urine.

I also called about membership with this location and the lady that I spoke to was very rude. I am very surprised that this area would tolerate someone with this type of attitude. Very poor customer service. Lady working their was rude when we tried to get information about signing up. Prices are only just cheaper than what we paid at la fitness and it doesn't have any of the same amenities. Really, not worth the money. $37.50 there crazy rip off alert!!!
