I really like this AF location. It's always very clean, not very crowded at all and they have good quality equipment. Everything seems quite new! I use this location as a visiting member and always look forward to training there. The manager is super nice as well and the trainers are all friendly.

I do hope that the next time I am there in January the water fountain situation will be fixed!

I’ve been enjoying my Membership at Anytime Fitness for several years.
Ingrid, the General Manager, consistently insures that the facility is running smoothly.
She oversees the Members’ exercising, assisting them in their workouts when needed,
tending to Administrative Duties, insures that the gym is clean - it’s spotless.

She continually seeks new and improved ways to upgrade all aspects of the fitness center!

It's miraculous that she is able to tend to the overwhelming expectations required of her!
Not only does she tend to them, she exceeds my expectations,
continually striving to improve all aspects of the gym experience
for Members.

The gym is low-key, quiet, calm, conducive to concentrating on our workouts!

Upon first arriving in Palm Coast, I searched my geographical area to join a gym.
Wary with past not-up-to-par, unpleasant gym experiences, I headed out.
Anytime Fitness checked all the boxes!

There is no open access here; we’re provided an entrance key to the secure facility
and it is open 24/7. No waiting around for the gym to ‘open,’ no rushing ‘cause the gym ‘is closing’.

Ingrid enforces the rules politely but firmly,
so that we all may enjoy a peaceful environment together
while exercising.

The 2 Personal Trainers, Luke and Janelle, assist many members to personally tailor their workouts. They listen for specificities that will benefit them.

Gym offers a tanning salon for those interested in that.

Our District Manager, Justin, is supportive of The Members, down-to-earth, approachable too!

Several days ago, our Water Fountain went on the blink.
I was privy to Members' complaints at such an atrocity (sarcasm noted!) Ingrid immediately sprung into action.
I watched, marveling:
1. Posted sign by fountain, we are working to restore; apologize for the inconvenience; thank you for your patience.
2. Contacted Justin, Our Regional Manager, seeking his recommendation for a plumber to assess.
3. Contacted local plumber.
Plumbers arrived lickety-split, quickly!
4. Placed water bottles with water on the front counter for Members' access meanwhile.
5. On her lunch break, went to Walmart, purchased more water.

The next morning, the fountain was fixed!

I highly recommend Anytime Fitness for those considering joining a gym!

There are literally BEES all over the gym. The manager informed me that if it was an inconvenience, that I should cancel my membership. As someone who is allergic to bees and needs to put their own safety first, I made sure to do exactly that and found a way better gym (at a better price). Not sure how they can legally continue to put $50 a month over the safety of their members, they have seemed to accept the liability and simply DON’T CARE.
The manager has the customer service skills of a shoe and will give you attitude for looking out for yourself. I highly recommend avoiding this gym, as well as the toxic and unsafe environment it presents. Ingrid has not even once apologized for putting the patrons in danger or breaking FLORIDA’S LEGAL DOCTRINE OF PREMISE LIABILITY, even after admitting in writing that they were trying to deal with them silently.

Recently (7/15/25) joined ANYTIME FITNESS OF PALM COAST, so this review, like my membership, is introductory. Proximity to my home, cleanliness, a proper mix of cardio, strength, machines, free weights, group classes, coaching and 24/7 availability are key factors, oh, and the price is reasonable. The two staff members I met, Ingrid (Mgr.) and Luke (Coach), are professional and friendly. They strike the perfect balance of always available to assist without hovering.

Just started coming to this gym and I can say it is one of the nicest gyms in the area. It’s very organized, and clean. You also get a lot for the price. I’ve been to another gym that is similar in price in this area that offers almost zero amenities it’s dirty disorganized and the management was very rude. So going here has been refreshing, the manager here is super nice and helpful. I highly recommend giving this place a try

Best give I’ve ever been to. It’s clean, not overcrowded, staff are friendly, and it feels like more of a home gym rather than a chain. The gym has a lot of natural light, so it doesn’t feel like you’re being blasted by fluorescent lights and the layout of the actual gym makes it feel like you have privacy rather than being in a big giant open gym. Most important, management is awesome, understanding, and friendly. I would recommend everyone try this gym before checking out the other ones in the area.

I have been a member of Palm Coast Anytime Fitness for over a year and had membership in Lake Tahoe Nevada. I have been a fitness facility manager before and know all to well how demanding that position can be. I’ve enjoyed working out at Anytime Fitness very much. The manager, Ingrid does a fantastic job. Highly considering suing this place and the manager. I signed a one year contract (12 months). Dec 5th 2024 I called in to cancel my contract, as it had already been over a year, I had to look that one up since I joined I the beginning early Nov 2023. I was informed that I had to wait until my contract ended first and sign paper work in person to end my membership. I went in on the day of expiration as per the information on the app of Jan 14 2025. I signed my cancelation paper work and was treated like crap. I was told I would be charged an additional 30 days because I didn’t give 30 days notice…. After I just canceled my membership…and tried canceling a month prior…I left my key card on her desk and she kept pushing it back to me. I left without it and revoked their draft authorization with my bank. The entire “year” contract also covered 2023 to 2025 which is not right. There was also zero mention in the contract of this that was articulable in any sense, in other words I didn’t find anything in it. They claim I owe them money.
Prior to all this my wife and I joined on the same day. She called in numerous times to change her bank information even tried the app. She was charged at least 5 times to old bank information bi-monthly, creating bank and gym fees left and right. 2 and a half months and they couldn’t get it right. She couldn’t close the old account because they kept over-drafting it. She was very rudely treated and was forced to block this company from charging and was subsequently sent to collections for $300.
In total we went to this gym between the two of us 5 times. Worst experience I have ever had with any gym.

I recently visited the Anytime Fitness location in Palm Coast while staying at my dad’s new house, and I couldn’t be more impressed! I was looking for a gym that was close and convenient, and this location exceeded my expectations.

The manager, Ingrid, was incredibly welcoming and helpful from the moment I walked in. She took the time to ask about where I was from and even chatted about my dad’s new house, which made me feel right at home. Her hospitality made the entire experience even better.

While the general population at this location does lean on the older side, don’t let that discourage you. The gym is fully equipped with everything you need for an excellent workout, including dumbbells up to 120 lbs and a wide range of machines and equipment. It’s perfect for anyone serious about their fitness, whether you’re a casual gym goer or a seasoned lifter.

Overall it was a great experience, and I would definitely recommend this location to anyone visiting or living in the area.

This place is a complete disgrace for a commercial gym. If you're considering signing up, I suggest you read this review in its entirety beforehand.

Here's what you will pay with the base level membership: $27.81 twice per month ($55.62/month), plus $39.58 twice a year. (Note: you're locked in for a full year and can't break your contract unless you move >25 miles away from Anytime Fitness, or if you have a note from your doctor that states you're medically incapable of working out.)

Now on to what you get... First off, this location is about 1/4 the size of a LA Fitness, Crunch, or Planet Fitness; so be prepared to wait your turn for mostly everything. Their clientele is mostly 60+ year old individuals, who treat the gym as their social club. They fraternize so loudly, unless you have noise cancelling headphones, you're going to be constantly listening in on all kinds of political conversations from the hard of hearing. The gym is always completely understaffed. The one lady there is always too busy taking personal phone calls to tend to members, and if you do catch her actually working, she's incredibly difficult to understand. The staff also never replaces the sanitizing wipes, each station is always depleted of wipes. The couple of TV's they have are about 20 years old and are usually turned off for some reason.

Finally, let me enlighten you on the condition of their machines; everything is damaged and falling apart, including all their dumbbells and plates. This franchise owner blatantly does not care about upkeeping the equipment. To me it was like going to a gym in a third world country! The pictures attached to the review were taken within the last 6 months.

Use your money, time, and sanity wisely by crossing this place off your list.

I don’t like being lied too, I accept a deal that said the first 10, 60 year old click here will get our 6 week program for free. I was number 8 excited I schedule an appt. For today. Walk-in spoke to the lady in the office, she told me I know the ad said free but it’s not free, because some people in the pass drop out before, so now we ask that you put a down payment and to have a trainer it will cost you $500 for 18 weeks, mine you the free course is 6 weeks. I then said that, and she told me the 18 weeks training session I’m will be getting for $25 dollars a session. If I chose the 6 weeks course it will cause me $50 a session. Then she hand me a card with the cost to join the gym, she told me to get the free 6 week program I had to join the gym and pay membership fees every two weeks. Now if I’m getting a free 6 week to build my metabolism, isn’t there going to be someone there to instructions the program correct. Why would I have to pay $ 500 for a trainer. I couldn’t believe my ears. Erase my names out of your system and don’t call my phone. All lies and I have no respect for liars.

Had my phone for months, refused to sign into google. I actually sucked it up and signed in just to write this. Do not go here. I used to love the place but seriously there are so many better options. I moved to a different state and literally had zero anytime fitnesses near me the closest one was the state over. And they said they would get me out of my contract and everything seeing as I had no control over there not being one. I just received a letter from collections saying I owe $. Absolutely ridiculous and unacceptable. The amount of times I went over with Seth how I was not about to pay for something I couldn’t use and he assured it would be fine. Just pathetic honestly. There are plenty of other gyms you just have to look. But trust me you don’t want this one. What’s worst is I almost changed where I was moving just to stay with the gym! Ha. Go support a better gym cause this one is worthless.

DO NOT GO TO THIS GYM!!! I went to this gym for a year but eventually I did not want to pay $50 to go to the gym anymore. I was calling for at least eight months to try and get my membership cancelled after my one year contract was up. No one ever answered the phone. I finally started trying stopping in even amongst a super busy work schedule to try and cancel. I went three different times during their staffed hours and it wasn’t until the third time that someone was actually there which is completely unprofessional. The third time I was helped by someone however this person failed to inform me that after you cancel they continue to keep charging your card for 30 days so even though you don’t have a membership anymore you have to give them $50. Even after this person had told me that she would try to see if they could get some of the monthly charges removed because of how long I had been waiting. So because this gym is completely unprofessional, cannot answer the phone, and they are late to getting to the gym during staffed hours, they were able to get several hundred dollars off of me. Save yourself the time and money and do not go to this gym. There are much better gyms out there for half the price.

I have been going to Anytime for several years since I arrived in Palm Coast. It is a first rate gym. I have been able to lose 25 lbs and get in shape to run Spartan obstacle course races. I am 68. The gym has all new equipment top of the line, and it is not crowed with excellent classes. The manager Cyrstal and trainer Keri are both very knowleagable .Best Gym in Palm Coast. Update I have finished a large number of Triathlons and obstacle course races. The lifting at this gym are one of the main reasons. I am also uninjured which is not the case for senior obstacle course racers. The community is what ultimately makes this gym. Watching and learning for the others members is a key for me. Great Gym

BEWARE!!! I was new to the area and was looking for a gym to join, I ran across anytime fitness in Palm Coast, I walked in to check the gym out. The lady who no longer works there said, “Congratulations, our memberships just changed and here’s what we offer for $70 a month with a $119 down payment and a 2 year contract.” The lady also was skeptical about the new membership herself which was strange. Said the new GM Josh took over and raised a bunch of prices. In the middle of a pandemic when gyms just opened, that is absolutely crazy. With the membership they offered meal prepping, an online coach etc... I signed up and almost a month later when my membership “perks” stopped, I realized they had two memberships. One much less then the one I was offered. I called 5 other locations and each location was $34.99 a month. One location even laughed over the phone when I told him how much I was paying. I contacted the manager and the GM and they have no excuse for their actions to falsely inform me of their memberships and to raise prices in the middle of a pandemic after only being opened for a short time. The GM, Josh, kept stating “I’m sorry you feel that way” after admitting there are two memberships. Said there was nothing he was going to do about me being lied to. Shame on you Josh for price gouging when 5 other locations are $34.99.

I have tried twice to cancel my Anytime Fitness membership, to no avail.
When I moved to Palm Coast, Florida in 2013, I joined this Anytime Fitness. I loved the gym! Clean, not crowded! Staff was wonderful and helpful! I had to cancel my membership in 2014 because I was going to be out of town for a prolonged period of time. I cancelled with no problems!!!
Because of my wonderful past experiences with this gym, I rejoined last year. Tammy signed me up, and she was very helpful and nice.
When gyms reopened after the pandemic shutdown, I came into the gym to cancel my membership. I am afraid to use the gym at this time. I spoke with Crystal. I had never met her before. She informed me that I couldn’t cancel until August. She told me that I could freeze my membership for 3 months. I first thought that I would freeze my membership for May, June, and July. My contract would be up in August, and I could then cancel. Crystal corrected me and told me that after August, 3 more months would be added on to make up for the frozen months. I refused that offer.
Although I understand about gym membership, I also totally think it is just bad business and bad faith not to cancel anyone’s membership in the middle of this pandemic. I went home to wait for August. I have continued to be billed, although I don’t use the gym out of fear.
I returned on July 21st hoping to, once again, cancel my membership in August. Crystal told me that my membership would now not be up until the end of October. That is definitely not what she told me last time. Also, I felt that she was unprofessional in her manner. All I want to do is cancel my gym membership. Florida COVID 19 positive cases are spiking and I am very fearful of gyms, at this time.

Stopped in for a run on the treadmill since I’m out of town. Employees were more than helpful. Gym was very clean and the equipment was all working properly. Very pleasant atmosphere will stop by again

This is the first Heath club I’ve ever joined and I love it!!! Everyone is so nice here. I was so weak and out of shape when I first started but a month later... I can believe this change. Very fun and comfortable atmosphere!!

I am so happy with this gym! I relocated from Maine 2 years ago and have tried many gyms nearby and in surrounding cities. The reason I chose this place was specifically because of the manager, Tammy. She is knowledgeable, friendly and motivating. On the days I don’t feel like working out, I think of Tammy’s smiling face and remember how she makes me feel like I’m the only person in the gym when I walk in. In fact, she treats each member in the same manner. I’m happy to workout in this friendly, supportive and clean atmosphere.

This is the most unique Anytime Fitness gym we have visited, and we have been to several from Maine to Florida. Apparently pet care is available, and they are allowed to roam and bark all around you as you work out. But we REALLY love the exclusive insiders - only atmosphere that makes us feel so secure in this scary world. The manager never misses a chance to intimidate and discourage those MEMBERS who enjoy traveling and using other AF gyms. Shame on them for scaring the locals!!! These days, you never know who wants to take advantage of the situation, huh??? Wow what a gem.

Called to obtain pricing. The individual picked up, said she “normally doesn’t pick up the phone” and can’t give me pricing over the phone. She then proceeded to advise the person she was signing up in front of me would get different rates than me due to discounts? I asked what sort of discounts. She was not able to advise because of the individual sitting in front of me? Receives different pricing? ... ok? Pricing is a secret?

I’ve been in for a tour before. Decent facility. Closer to my home. But...now I’ll be going back to Mpower or Just Train.

I am requesting a cancellation of my membership to Anytime fitness via email currently. I felt very uncomfortable, unwelcomed, and offended by the manager for multiple reasons that I will not discuss in this review but disclosed in the email. In short, after many rude and inappropriate things were said to me (I simply asked about why the weight room was closed) the manager spoke inappropriately about me to another staff member. I decided to question the manager “why” and got a very disrespectful response.

Furthermore, there are no cleaning wipes for the machines and there is a dog roaming the gym. I am a dog owner and have no issue with them, except for the simple fact that it is a sanitation issue and should not be in the facility.

My experience in the Ormond Beach anytime fitness is pleasant every time I arrive, but since I have moved to Palm Coast I have had the issue of finding another gym I can access locally. I obviously looked to the closest Anytime fitness. Since I apparently “Don’t belong to the Palm Coast Anytime!” (said manager), I am forced to find a new gym.

If you would like to use a facility that is unsatisfactory and unsanitary frankly then go ahead. I request the a manager that is trained correctly or for the current one to be
re-evaluated immediately. Thank you.

BEWARE STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE !!!!!

I gave this place one start as their is no option to give zero !!!

My wife has been a regular 3 month member for the last few years.
Being a snow bird she attends daily for 3 months and returns home. This year she paid for a 4 month membership on the understanding she could cancel in 3 months. It was never mentioned that she was signing a six month membership. She also gave a deposit for the admission key with the understanding that the key deposit would be refunded. She has gone through much frustration in trying to cancel after 3 months in fact they are now charging her for an additional 2 months and refuse to refund her key deposit claiming the key was a purchase.

It is sad to say she is a regular long time patron and she would get this sort of treatment.

I just joined today and it smelled fine...don't know what that review was about? Very small gym but Sunday who was working in the office (that's her name) was very friendly and answered all my questions. Giving 3 stars because I haven't used the facilities yet but we'll see!

This is by far the nicest,cleanest, gym in Palm Coast! Me and my friends love it. The 24 hr access is totally safe due to the video survaillance system and even the"panic buttons" on the wall! The staff is awesome and very helpful. It is a very warm and fuzzy, family oriented, non judgement gym. Everyone is very down to earth and respectful. I travel a lot and anywhere I go their is always an Anytime close by that my key works 24/7 as well. That is awesome!
