Did not renew my contract. Signed off on the necessary paperwork. They still drafted the allotted payment out of my account. Talked to a Ms.Ryan(?). Who was no help. Stated it was in my contract they would take out the payment even though I did not renew. Very shady business. Joined Planet Fitness. Better and updated machines. Would not recommend.

Shortly after I signed up I moved out of state and nowhere near a facility. I tried mailing my address twice to the owner who instead of honoring the contract, sold it to a debt collector. He will do whatever shady tactics to get you to sign up after that you'd better pay or else.

More positive note the trainer that this place did have was nice and knew her stuff. She was very helpful

Let me start this review by saying I HATE the gym. Passionately. But I knew it was time to make some positive life choices and I shopped around all the gyms in Plant City before deciding on Anytime Fitness as the best fit for me. 1) Richard is insanely responsive, helpful, and flexible. I was honest about why I hate the gym and he was creative with solutions that work for me. 2) Katie is 100% the only reason I love going to the gym now. A personal trainer was the only way I knew I would hold myself accountable and she and I instantly connected. Don't tell her but I actually look forward to her workouts. 3) In the 6 months that I've been going, I have been coached (sometimes painfully though never to my breaking point) to a much healthier place. I can honestly say that if it weren't for this gym staff and the advice and accommodations they've made for me, I would never go to the gym.

Terrible staff. They complain and threatened your gym etiquette and membership if you replace the dumbbells back into the dumbbells rack out of the order that they think they should be in. So petty. There is no markings on the rack that specifically say which dumbbells should go where. Any person who works out knows sometime you don't want to continue to bend over to use the heavier dumbbells. If they want them to be in a specific order. Maybe they should make some labels. I have never been called about leaving a pair of dumbbells on the dumbbells rack out of order. I would never recommend this location to anyone.

Love this gym so much, especially this location ! I live in Bartow and have a gym like 3 minutes from my house, but travel 30 minutes to go to the plant city location. Always clean, never crowded, a lot of different types of equipment for you to try, and the staff there is so nice and helpful. Its the best! :)

The owner is very nice but apparantly there is a policy at this location that you are not allowed to talk on the phone while working out...unfortunately I've told many of my friends in the plant city area and they agree it's a silly rule so we have to decide to take our business else where...I guess rules are rules hopefully they change that in the future but I will assume they will not...I I've been a member at many different gyms la fittness, planet fittness, 24 hour fittness, 10 dollar fittness, crunch and furthermore I have relatives that talk with a head set to me while at another anytime fittness in zepherhills we both are Courteous as not to talk to loud and they have never been told this rule. As well as any other gym I've been to I've never been approached at any other gym about talking on my phone while working out with a headset on ...it was really sad this really left a bad taste in my mouth with this branch in particular but like I said rules are rules and I'm sure they won't change any time soon it sucks I actually enjoyed that gym

This place is great. The entire gym is new and has Star Trac equipment. That’s the good stuff. They also have electrical impedance testing for BMI. Way better than any other gyms I’ve been to in Tampa region including west chase, Odessa, south TAMPA, carollwood... wish this was my home gym. They have members vote on the club improvement, you can pick the songs that are playing. It’s much more of a grassroots effort here with guests empowered to make their gym better. There’s cleaning equipment at every station!!!

The assortment of machines is excellent, but my favorite is the class room set up they have where you can take digital workout classes like zumba, yoga and p90x! If I don't know what to do at the gym, it doesnt matter! The videos will guide me! It's very safe here, and they take extra precautions. They may cost more than your $10/month clubs, but you pay for the safety, quality & convenience. The overall atmospgere here is great. Your fellow gym members arent "beef heads" and "gym bunnies" trying to show off making everyone else feel inadequate or awkward. It's nice. The staff/owners are fantastic. I didn't go in for 3 months, and they still remember my name when I walked in. They make calls and offer services (in the opposite of a pushy-sales-motive manner) to try to get you back in & actually care about your progress. I'm sad we're moving to a different city & have to leave them soon.

I have been a member at this Anytime Fitness location since they opened in April. The owners are very hands on and friendly and the equipment is first class. I really feel at home when I am there and the other members are very courteous. There is rarely more than a handful of people there and I have never had to wait for any equipment.

I always feel safe and the 24 hour access can't be beat! I recommend Anytime Fitness to anyone that is looking for a great place to workout. I am very glad that they opened so close to my home!
