Had an appointment to tour the gym.. they didn’t want to let us in and asked us to use a key fob… how when we’re not members and had an appointment. Time was wasted and customer service is awful. Maybe stand up and walk to the door to see what’s going on. But it’s okay there are more friendly gyms to attend. Definitely not this one.

Do NOT get a membership with anytime fitness or it's parent company ABC fitness.

1st of all, the cost of the membership is higher than any other gym in the area at about $40/mo. This specific facility is SO small. The equipment that they do have is regularly in disrepair, and they're missing a lot of key equipment you'd expect from such an expensive gym. There are NO amenities besides the shower/bathrooms... no sauna, no steam-room, no massage, no pool, no tanning... yet they're charging $20 more per month than the gyms that ARE offering those amenities.

2nd of all, ABC fitness is very shady in the way they handle contract termination. I enrolled with a military ID and was ensured I could cancel at anytime free of charge. ABC fitness directs you on their website to the individual location for cancelling your contract. I got in contact with the gym manager, expressed my wish to cancel and move gyms, and she gave me a corporate phone number to call. I was advised that cancelation was done at your specific gym location so I was being sent in circles. Upset with this run around I emailed ABC. They informed me they would charge me the years facility upkeep charge and an additional month, but that the membership would be cancelled by December.

Avoid! Avoid! Avoid!

Crunch fitness is busier, but for $10/mo you get ALL the equipment, lockers, and even a sauna. For $30/mo you get all that AND you also get unlimited fitness classes. Ditch your anytime memberships ASAP, they're just robbing ya blind.

A great quiet gym to work out. The only downfall is the "coach" they hired. Young man always works out and screams while lifting as if hes lifting a truck. Guy's crying for attention. No need for all the raucous. Kid needs to learn how to read the room and realize hes the clown screaming while working out. Aside from that nuisance, the gym is recommended.

Compared to the crunch, this is a small gym. BUT, it wasn't crowded and has all the necessary equipment needed to get a good workout in. Overall the gym was clean and smelled good. Staff was cleaning and organizing while I was here, which shows that they care to ensure the gym is kept clean and organized.
Only bad part was the filter status on the water fountain was RED (I have a video attached). I think that means its past due for a new filter.

Overall solid gym. If you are looking for a 24hr gym that has all the equipment you need, and doesn't get crowded (like 200 people at once at 6pm like Crunch does) this is the gym for you!

The gym itself is mediocre at best, especially for the insane price. Canceling was a horrible process. I attempted to cancel about a year ago and they made it so insanely difficult I gave up trying. Today I attempted again and they luckily have updated their policy to allow cancellation over the phone (finally). However, the lady I spoke with told me that I will have to go through TWO more payment cycles before the membership is canceled as they have a 30 day cancelation policy and they charge you biweekly. Truly they do everything in their power to suck as much money from you as possible.

Why is this the only location that doesn't accept the Active&Fit program? Every other anytime fitness I've been to accepts it, and this used to be the only gym in the area that accepted it. It's ridiculous. I have an active Anytime fitness membership and I can't even go to this location.

I went again this morning just to see, but the stairmaster is still broken and has been for 3 months. I was promised fitness classes 2 years ago, I am still waiting. A week will go by without sani-wipes. There's a smell, like mildew. I pay way too much for so little. 24 hour access and the gym family I've been able to obtain were the only plus. With the price and amount of fitness classes available at the new Crunch in Poinciana, it just doesn't make any sense to continue to go to AF and be disappointed with the lack of care for this gym. I know the new management is trying with what little they got, but the owners need to step up or corporate should get involved. This is really an embarrassment to the Anytime Fitness brand. Pop into the Davenport AF or Kissimee AF and you can instantly notice a difference. Poinciana AF has been forgotten and left for dead, the members here deserve more.

5x more expensive than anywhere else and the machines are pretty average. Predatory contract clauses designed to keep charging you forever even after your contract unless you go way out of your way to follow their specific cancelation policies... which include having to physically mail them(email not accepted) a proof of address change in order for them to stop charging you EVEN AFTER YOUR CONTRACT ENDS. Aside from this they owe me $600 because they fired my personal trainer in the middle of my personal training, kept charging me $300 bi-weekly for months and never rehired anyone to pickup on the training and fully expected me to keep paying for not receiving any services. Stay away from this place. Go to Crunch Fitness. Its only $10 a month... not $50 like here.

Once you’re in you’re locked into a contract that states you can’t cancel unless you physically visit the location (of origin) and sign a stupid agreement so they stop charging you their money, so if you’re outta state or anything don’t bother they’ll make you MAIL them some document stating you wanna cancel. I have been going to this gym for years. I moved away and came back to this location after I moved back. The lady that works in the front office is very helpful. I never spoke to the trainers or anyone else.

Some of the equipment needs updating and none of the tvs work, they used to hold classes (yoga, Zumba cycle), but I guess a lot changed since COVID. This membership is expensive, but it’s convenient and open 24hours. The Davenport location is very nice and up to date and close to proximity in the overall area.

Only reason why I continue to go here is because the convenience. The minute they open an LA Fitness or Orange Theory in this community, I’m leaving. Its not a bad place, you can get what you need at this and other locations. The only reason it doesn’t get 5 stars is because the it desperately needs a renovation.

I REALLY want to like this place, but I can't. Members do not wipe down equipment after use. Members AND trainers use 2 machines at a time and don't clean either one. The older men there sit on equipment, while video recording women doing workouts. I had a guy that would follow and sit next or across from me as I changed equipment. I've been interrupted during my workouts. There's no safety for women just wanting to workout.

I havent made a review in years, but i felt the need to make one today. I am here around early morning or late nights. Overall, the members (I see) are nice. No one hogs weights and stuff. If you go to work out in the same "space" as someone, they offer you more room if needed. Sometimes there are weights left out at random, so im just mindful of where I step. Im a very shy person and was really nervous about joining the gym- "gym phobia". Everyone comes in to do their workouts and go home. Overall, im happy with my membership and comfortable.

Made an appointment, then there was no record of such appointment. Went there and there were two other people waiting to be enrolled. They have been waiting for almost an hour! The employee got there late with no apologies to the people waiting, went right past them!
There is no good customer service. Also, they don't answer phone calls. I wonder, why are they even open.
It is hard to write this type of review, but when businesses are inconsiderate with customers, it is fair to speak out, so other people know what they're getting themselves into.

Besides the fact that their gym membership is probably one of the most expensive ones located in Kissimmee, a lot of important information is never discussed between members and staff. I spent 45 minutes in the office with the “Director” of the location and a few things that I experienced was never discussed. Is the gym space and available machines worth the membership fee? Absolutely not. I signed up when I wasn’t driving and I figured I’ll suck it up since it’s walking distance from my house. BIGGEST mistake ever! The staff limit themselves as far as sharing relevant information and their customer service isn’t the best. Stay away!
