The experience at this gym was truly amazing. It’s very complete and the machines are new, everything is very well organized. I really like this gym! People let you workout in peace without distracting you, treating it like a nightclub or underworld recruitment center. The staff is friendly, respectful and none invasive. How the environment is set up you can really lock in on your fitness goals and do the necessary work required to accomplish them without diversion. It’s always clean! Plenty of cleaning supplies always around! And a bonus! The complimentary towels for showers and additional cranberry hand soaps! Compared to other gyms in South Florida the energy in this place unmatched! The dumbbells can go up a little higher, but other than that! This gym is a DIAMOND!

Don’t have to travel for work and visit family. So I’d like to check out other anytime fitness. This by far has been the best anytime fitness/gym I have visited. Was clean, well kept and very organized. They had a great selection of machines and equipment. Which where all new and sharp looking. It was well organized to to each muscle group. So when you’re doing your workout, it flows very well. You can tell the owners and trainers care about the Gym and the well-being of their members. They truly want everybody to be healthy and fit just by the posters and what they have going on there.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Such a shame that this gym owner's greed detracts from the good name and high customer service quality of other franchisees.

I made the mistake of using this facility too much compared to other gyms, and this guy doubled my rate overnight while other franchisee's are willing to honor the original rate of my contract. Clearly, some people understand how to run a business better than others. I understand that I pay an extremely low & antiquated rate, and I'm willing to pay more to help with rising costs. However, this guy decides to DOUBLE my rate overnight and mask that price hike under the auspices of a bi-weekly payment without even giving me the courtesy of a phone call.

I have been a member of Anytime Fitness for almost 5 years and have NEVER had customer service issues or been subject to deceptive and greedy pricing tactics. I am even willing to pay more, but DOUBLING my rate and making it bi-weekly is an insult to a loyal customer who has never missed a payment. It is genuinely a shame.

This guy wanted an extra 30 bucks a month, now a pissed off customer, a 1 star review, and a damaged reputation.

I entered into the club to ask some pretty normal questions, I wanted to know if you guys allowed guests, and if so, what the fees would be or if there were promotions or passes, but was met with some pretty awful customer service. I even said good morning and the guy didn't even say anything back to me. The guy initially wouldn't answer my questions and I was told that I should have keyed in and that your facility is a "private club". I was told to turn around and key in if I wanted to hear more about guest passes.

The office hours were in operation and I just wanted to ask some questions, I didn't think keying in would be such a big deal when the door was open and I went straight to the office person. Additionally, I'm not even sure who the office person was since they wouldn't even introduce themselves. I then went and keyed in at this person's behest and proceeded to turn back around again to ask whoever the man was what the cost of a day pass and was told it would be $25 for the day.

I don't understand why I was treated so rudely by someone for simply asking questions... It's not the fact that you don't allow guests or that there is a fee, that's fine, I understand that.... it's the snarky attitude that I was met with that was less than desirable.

For a place that has open office hours and someone who is supposed to be the face of the facility to represent their interests, I was less than impressed.

My sister who was with me at the time, was new to the area and was potentially interested in becoming a member... she quickly changed her mind when the atrocious interaction was through. I was also embarrassed because I was talking Anytime Fitness up on the way over, but was then met with whatever the heck all that was.

No one should leave anywhere feeling that way. I wish you guys the best, but please have some better customer service. I'll not be visiting again.

I don’t work out I only got a gym membership so I could have a place to pass time while I charge my car. As it turns out there’s a gym almost always near a charging station. Not a bad idea healing the healing bodies. Anyways I go into do a workout I weigh myself before and i’m 222lbs like usual and I’m there for maybe 10 minutes and I don’t even break a sweat. afterwards I weighed myself and I weighed 202 pounds… How do I explain this? I looked better too. It wasn’t just a bad scale.

Without a doubt, Anytime Fitness in Pompano Beach is the best gym I’ve ever been a part of. One of the best experiences I’ve had in my travels working out at anytime fitness with one exception. THE MUSIC!!! Right now there is no staff and they are playing some kind of hardcore rap music and it’s so loud I can hear it thru my AirPods turned on max volume. UPDATE: It's been a couple of months since I was in town and since my last visit they have updated most of the equipment with new and added a bunch of equipment that wasn't there last time I worked out here. Finally decided to leave review! I’m a freelancer I came to get a quick workout while I’m in the area,I lost A gig cause my car was towed,i was stuck for 7 , 8 hours had to pay and get my car back,I didn’t get my money back from the towed company. The gym was cool but I’ll never go back there again ever in my lifetime. (Lost a $3k gig + $187.90 towed + 8 hours of frustration )

I really love Anytime fitness. I attend multiple locations. Only thing is the pompano location is now requiring a parking permit for after hours. I wasn't aware until another gym goer informed me. It gives anxiety not knowing if my car will get towed. Especially since I've been going here for years.

Why are the outside windows so filthy that the establishment looks vacant? That shows a total lack of caring and attention to detail.
There are many pieces of equipment that a gym must have and this one does not.

Yet there's numerous rubber bands and kettle bells. This is a gym for people who are clueless about working out. For $60 a month the place needs a serious makeover.

Why are there no paper towels? I've never in all my years been to a gym with no paper towel dispensers. Basically your using the same dirty disgusting sweaty cloth over and over and rubbing perspiration every which way. I want to vomit thinking about it.

My home gym is Boynton Beach. I believe this one has same owners and you can tell. They take pride in their gym. It’s clean and well organized with good equipment. I’ve been to AF in CA, VA, SC and several others in FL. Non of them have compared to this one and or Boynton Beach.
It’s not a big box gym but it has what you want without fighting for turns on equipment.

For those of you who are wondering “is there a gym in Pompano Beach area that’s not LA Fitness” this it it. Got sick of the daycare, after school program and rude kids at that gym to come here. Lauren and Zack helped me get setup and wish I came sooner. I travel all around the country and often stop in my local Anytime to grab a sweat. This is in the top three cleanest I’ve ever entered. The equipment is thoughtfully placed throughout the gym giving a good flow for working out. Plenty of solid equipment that is well organized. Awesome place to workout. Well done!

I use their other gym often, but they had also mentioned this one as an alternative when I am in the area. Ironically I had meetings across the street and popped in. It was great. Great layout. Friendly staff. And oh yeah...great climate control so I could get in my sweat but not feel like it was too hot. Glad to have another great spot in the area now.

I spent the winter in Oakland Park and was looking for a gym for a couple months. Anytime Fitness in Pompano Beach was a great find! I've been a member of Anytime Fitness for several years. My main location is Parkland. I started going to the Pompano location while Parkland was being renovated. I really like this location also. Unfortunately I was a bit creeped out my last visit. Upon entering I hear a weird voice over the speaker, like someone was talking to me. Not sure if that's normal. I have never experienced it at either location before. It made me super uncomfortable.

Beautiful gym but the staff is rude. I was in town for work (I work nightshift in the healthcare field), worked out right after work and took a shower after. Went back the 2nd day in a row and there were signs up about shortening shower use. The looks I was getting from the staff made it obvious that the signs were directed towards me, when I wasn't even in the shower for long. Anywho, I felt completely discriminated against and unfortunately will NEVER return to this facility when I am in town for work!

Was not satisfied with the experience I just had. My first day here I let them know that I’m a member out of Michigan and live here now and that I use active and fit, she said no problem we will be come your home club after 30 days. Today I receive a call from a lady that is not very nice saying we don’t take “insurance covered memberships” mind you I pay 45 a month to active and fit. Her excuse is “we’re a coaching gym” - I don’t use the coaches nor want to. This location is missing tanning unlike the others. Stay away from the bait and switch.

I canceled my membership in October and am continuing to be charged. I have called the gym daily for several weeks, gone to the gym multiple times but no one is there, called the owners cellphone and left messages, and emailed the gym. No one will return my phone calls. Either they are super incompetent or a bunch of crooks. So disappointing.
