i’ve been going here for over a year and have never had any issues. staff is so nice and friendly, one of the best benefits for good gym culture. this location is smaller but has all the essentials and the Mahan one is even nicer! i’ll be sad to leave honestly but think the price is so worth it and never had trouble finding a gym out of town/state.

This is a revision of my initial review.

Just moved to the area. I came here to test the gym during their listed office hours. Nobody seemed to be there. Called their phone and nobody picked up, unable to a leave a message. I called multiple times.

Will change my review if I'm able to get into contact with someone and test the gym out.

I am unsure what holiday the owner replied with. I tried going to gym on 4/23 a Wednesday. I refuse to let a business owner seemingly lie to my face about what date I came to their gym. Will include
screen shots. I would not go here as it seems the owner/staff is unable to take calls or adhere to their hours.

Very clean, staff is extremely nice. Still a new member and I have been there once; both Duke and Riley took care of my questions and sorted an issue with my fob. They had more hand grips than I’ve seen in a gym…so I am sure I will be able to work around old injuries since it’s been a while that I’ve trained. Riley was very helpful when I needed to contact the gym about a very small issue with access to the shower; I’m very grateful and looking forward to meeting everyone else on staff. Highly recommended!

I come back here to review. After they changed the owner, this is a terrible gym. The story began when I froze the account for 2 years since the old owner and when I realized I got the charge on my account on June 2024 I realized I forgot to call them to cancel membership. I decided to pay and signed the document to cancel the membership in June 2024. Later, I got charged another time in my account an extra $32.20 in August 2024. I called them so many times about this mistake and they kept hanging up on my call. Now the charge still on my account. Can't believe this!!

This is a reply to the comment: i am talking about the august 2024 charge as the staff told me it was the mistake because it was charged after i cancelled and they said they would refund me money. And i waited so long. I then called the bank to see if the refund showed to my bank account and they said no. I called you again and you hung up. Explain to me what is happening here!!

Yes, I did take responsible for that. You told me the only charge i was responsible for was June 2024 and I did pay for that. Could you let me know why you charged me one more in August? I called and you told me it was a mistake. Please keep your words!

I love the convenience and cleanliness of the Anytime Fitness on Apalachee Parkway just east of Capital Circle. There is always open equipment and it's in great shape. The fact that they are open 24/7 is incredibly beneficial. And the price is extremely reasonable. Great place!

I've been a member here for over 4 years now. The best decision I've ever made regarding my fitness was to switch to the club from my previous one. When the location was acquired, it's always a bit scary not knowing what new ownership will do. Herschel and Duke have done an amazing job of making sure equipment is updated and in good working order. Any time there is an issue, Herschel is quick to respond. The club is always clean and the members are very friendly.

We’ve been members for several years and have been satisfied, but the new owner has really improved the gym - the equipment and especially his customer service, energetic demeanor, staffing and equipment. I really like how I can also take classes at the Mahan Drive location and on the app. Great job, Herschel and team!

Gym is on the smaller side, but that has its perks! It's never really packed, they have drinks in the fridge that you can get by paying with cashapp, it is open 24/7, the staff is usually pretty chill. They have free weights including bench press and squat rack.

Never packed full of teenagers. Members have etiquette. Hours are unbeatable, especially during times like COVID lockdowns and hurricane when everything else closed. Anytime open.

I have been coming to this AF for about the past month. I've really enjoyed it so far. The management and owners do a great job with customer service and will go out of their way to help and assist. Overall this location has everything you need in regards to lifting. I do wish there was more space at this location but besides that it's great. Never too crowded, especially during "peak times", and the members seem to treat each other with respect.

I've been a member at this particular location for about 2 years now. I don't get a chance to go as often as I would like but the times that I have been there, never had to wait for equipment because there's never anyone there. The gym is small, limited space and equipment, staff never there and some equipment is dated and could use upgrades. I don't mind the small gym or not having many folks there so I don't have to wait for equipment but could certainly use more treadmills and turn the overhead speakers down or off. Can feel a little creepy at times when you're the only one there. I've also seen staff come and go so you don't get the same staff for an extended time.

The gym needs to be upgraded. Staff are never there when you need them. I went there on several occasions when they listed the time frame that staff are supposed to be present in the gym. Each time no staff was there. 👎👎👎

I purchased a one-year membership to this Anytime Fitness due to its convenient location. This particular Anytime Fitness is very small. Over time, the quality of this fitness center has deteriorated. After 5 pm, there is usually a wait to use one of the FOUR treadmills. Most fitness centers offer at least a dozen treadmills. The bathrooms are usually dirty and out of soap and paper towels, especially on weekends. They are usually out of anti-bacterial towels to wipe down the equipment after you are done using it. The manager is only there 20 hours a week. They like to play loud techno dance music which can be very annoying. Getting in and out of the parking lot can be tricky since the lot is shared with three other businesses, including an exterminating company that parks all its trucks in the same parking lot. If you don’t have high expectations for a health club, then this is the place for you. However, there are better and less expensive alternatives in the Tallahassee area.
