Ardent Performance is a wonderful personal training facility. Both Claire and Jacqui are super personal trainers. If you’re looking for a fitness environment where someone invests in your personal improvement, this is it! Claire provides amazing attention to each person’s fitness and nutrition journey, offering private (1:1), semi-private (3:1) and small group (5:1) options. Each workout is individualized to your fitness level and goals, no matter what. No competition between trainees - she provides and promotes an encouraging and supportive space for every fitness level, helping each person to be a better, more fit version of themselves. Niceville couldn’t ask for a healthier environment to improve fitness!
For me, personally, Claire has gone above and beyond anything I could have expected from a trainer. After I injured myself on vacation she immediately went into modified mode, leveraging all her resources. She researched and adapted every exercise to improve my mobility, preserve the strength we had already built, and respect the limitations the injuries brought. She stayed in lock step with my doctor and physical therapist’s recommendations, and is the reason both my injuries are recovering so well.
Hands down, best training experience I’ve had in 30+ years of fitness training!

Best gym experience! Claire's workouts are challenging and fun! Sometimes I wonder if my body can do the prescribed exercise. With Claire and Ellie's encouragement and coaching I learn how to move my body in new ways to improve my strength. Claire's coaching is very clear, safe and encouraging. My favorite all time gym! I would strongly recommend Ardent Performance!

Ardent Performance is a great training facility. Claire and her staff are amazing! Claire has built a community: a real gift to women ready to build strength and confidence in a welcoming, small-gym setting. Even when I was living out of state and constantly on the road for work, she created personalized workouts for me and made sure I stayed on track. She went above and beyond—sending personal emails to check in on my progress and encouraging me to stay consistent. Her upbeat, supportive energy makes her incredibly easy to be around. I have seen how she and her staff motivate clients even through challenging moves and workouts.
Now that I’m back in person at the gym for semi-private and small group workouts, I feel re-energized and ready to make even bigger gains in my fitness. I also appreciate that she offers an InBody scan, which provides detailed and accurate feedback on how lean muscle mass and fat are distributed throughout the body. Having this data makes it so much easier to measure real progress beyond the scale.
I have also been working with Ally, a nutritionist, on an eating plan, and I am already seeing a change in my energy. I wasn't eating enough protein, and I can really tell the difference in how I feel now that eating good sources of protein is a priority. Ally gave me helpful guides to easily measure portions and is very encouraging and thorough in her support.
In addition to all that, the rates for Ardent’s services are very reasonable, especially considering the personal attention and care Claire and her staff provide to each client. I truly feel like I’ve found a home at Claire’s gym, and I can’t recommend Ardent Performance enough!

I met with Claire back in August 2024 to discuss the possibility of me joining the gym. I play Pickleball a lot, but I knew that I needed much more than that. We talked about strength, flexibility and balance, all necessary to age well and healthy. I'm no spring chicken and had no experience doing strength training. Claire is an excellent coach -- showing me exactly what to do and encouraging me to put in that extra effort to do things I never imagined would be possible for me to do. Thank you Claire!

I love this gym (and I was never a "gym person" before this, despite having joined several gyms over the years)! Claire is an amazing and skilled trainer. She is super encouraging and helps push you to things you didn't know were possible without pushing too far. Claire is a gem; truly. I came in on empty and not sure of what I needed to be an athlete again. She worked with me for a few weeks, learned about my past injuries, studied my movements, capacity and temperament...and then through 2 years kept me motivated and in incredible shape. She tailored workouts when needed so I never had to miss an opportunity to grow stronger and when I doubted myself she got me to push harder. Training was a part of my day I never wanted to miss and I am forever grateful for her creativity and her genuine character. I miss her so much!

Hands down, the BEST choice with personal training and development . Claire made me want to wake up and actually Train 5x a week with her. She has a wealth of knowledge on various ways to train, improve, stay motivated and she pushes You in the right way. When I came back to the gym regularly- post C-section I wasn’t exactly sure where to even start. Claire approached me with work outs/tips/tricks for rebuilding and recovering the right way.
She puts emphasis on good form and understanding how the body works in order to build muscle. No one pushes you harder or cheers louder than she does!

I had the opportunity to work with Claire for almost 2 years. In those two years she was able to help me build strength in my legs that I hadn’t had for 25 years. As a client who’s experienced three knee surgeries I had a lot of issues we had to work around. Claire went above and beyond researching different ideas of ways to strengthen my legs. She truly cared about my progress and my well-being. Claire is passionate about what she does and puts 100% effort into working with each client individually to meet their goals. She truly has a gift! She is one of my favorite trainers in over 30 years, and one of the greatest people I’ve ever had the opportunity to work with.
