Just a good atmosphere, for people who are serious about training this is the spot. Great owners, excellent equipment, if you were looking for a personal trainer you'll find just what your looking for here. The gym is very clean, weights are all put away in exact order. No waiting for equipment. Want to train legs 37 pieces of leg equipment. People here have gym etiquette putting their weights away. 30 to 70 age group, real iron plates, equipment no other gyms have and a wide variety of equipment its not all just one kind equipment like the cooperate gyms like you fit, la fitness, planet fitness or amp. This is not the kind of place where people are tying up equipment doing selfies. Highly recommend checking this place out

This is not Planet Fitness, but anyone will feel welcomed. It is more serious than PF, where I came from. These are more athletes than your casual dad hitting the tread mill every other week. For me, it was exactly what I wanted.

Very nice gym with well maintained equipment. Some pretty unique machines here too, like neck machine, lat pullover, multi-angle forearm, etc. Staff will fix issues if you point them out, and theres a pretty good community feel to the place. Not as "clean" as a big brand place, it has some character. Definitely recommend.

While I just had to cancel my membership due to moving, I just wanted to take the time to say that the 2 years that I had been going to Athletic factor were great! The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. The other gym goers were always friendly and approachable. Everyone there was in great shape and were focused. I never felt as though I was going in and not getting a serious workout in. Being exposed to the military training environment, I find it hard to see that in a lot of places nowadays where it seems as though people are more focused on selfies rather than the actual workout. That being said, people of all skill levels were present and the environment was very welcoming! I definitely recommend this place for anyone looking for a great smaller gym. Thank you so very much for an incredible 2 years!

My FAVORITE gym in south FL! I train at 5am and it's always nice and quiet there! Lots of variations in equipment and a huge selection of dumbbells!! The weights are always in place and staff are extremely friendly! A real bodybuilding gym with serious lifters. I highly recommend them!

Was visiting for only a day and came to do a day pass while waiting for our flight back home after a cruise. We were welcomed as soon as we walked in and set up with a pass for the day. Front desk staff was extremely friendly and made the whole process very easy. The gym itself was great. Excellent array of machines, and the layout was nice as well. Got a great workout in and didn't have to wait for a thing moving from one thing to the next. Would definitely recommend this gym to any serious lifter!

Having been a member of this gym for over a decade, one thing is for sure. You can come and work out, day in and day out, and accomplish ALL of your goals. All of the necessary equipment is there, fully functional. It is an old style iron gym (which I love). If you're used to the smell of rubberized weights you'll be highly disappointed. Great staff, great trainers to choose from if you need one....the list goes on.

Owners claim to be family oriented but it’s far from the truth. I’ve been respectful to them, the establishment, and the other members/trainers since Day 1.
They don’t treat “outsiders” with that same respect. If you’re looking for a positive and comfortable environment, don’t come here.
They just want your money and whatever publicity they can get from it. Be sure not to get on their bad side, they’ll bad mouth you behind closed doors.
The staff is great, 2 cleaners are always hard at work, and the trainers there are very friendly. It’s a shame that management isn’t the same

Joy has amazing customer service! What a pleasure meeting such a genuine person. Brandon at the front desk is always courteous and remembers my name. Mitch the owner has a great team and should be proud of his brand. This is a real bodybuilder gym that has real weights. If fitness is your passion and you are serious about taking it to the next level then come to this gym. There are some many other things that they offer including protein shakes and bars. They offer personal training and the machines are always cleaned by joy with her disinfectant. I love the lounge area and the the effort that went into keeping it clean. My favorite gym this far. Joy and Brandon deserves a raise or paid vacation. What an amazing job they do for the brand.

Gym was very big and has MANY machines, the staff was friendly and showed me around and gave me the run down. Definitely recommend if you are a serious about fitness. There is nothing fancy abt this Hardcore Gym, except you better leave your texting and talking behind. This is where the Body Building community goes to pump weights using a vast array of equipment you won’t find in Planet Fitness or LA. Tried LA Fitness and Planet Fitness around the area but this gym has more than either if those gyms could offer and we'll maintained. The dumbbells are literally always racked in order. Personally, the age of the equipment doesn't phase me. It still functions just as well as newer equipment but also shows character.

I love this gym, I've been coming here now for more than 3years, only issue I have is this chic walks in recording in the cardio area doing stuff for her only-fans mostly with the kettle bell. Her boyfriend normally records not even in fitness gear just jeans and supreme hoodie

Very affordable and great location!
The staff is very friendly and they let me do whatever I want. The other day I totally destroyed their hardwood floor with a kettlebell, and nobody said a word!
As an added bonus, the trainers do me in the locker room while my stupid boyfriend plays with his drone in the parking lot

Been a member here for about 3 years or so and it has been perfect for me. Tons of great equipment for any exercise you can imagine, lots of free weights that go to from extremely light to extremely heavy, but most importantly the staff is amazing. They go above and beyond to treat you and make you feel like family - definitely something you will not get from the larger chain gyms. I appreciate the personal attention and they are very knowledgeable about everything and willing to share knowledge. I also like having a gym where you don't have to wait for machines. The Athletic Factor is my favorite escape from the workday. Thank you for making me feel like family!

It's been 5 years since my last review. There is absolutely nothing bad to say about this place. I promise you this, once you go there you would not want to train at another gym. They offer a 30 day free gym membership without any attachments to it. This place is extremely well organized, the staff is super friendly and always helpful.
You will not have to wait in line for using their equipment.
If you are new to the gym field, and need help with getting started, they have a lot of professional personal trainers, that speak a variety of languages and help you to reach your own personal fitness goal.
The staff keeps the place very clean and the equipment is well maintained.
Disregard all the negative posts because those are all false. I kid you not, but this is the best gym in all South Florida.

I LOVE Athletic Factor Gym and all the staff! I recently moved to South Florida from Georgia and I couldn't be more happy that this gym is a place I can call home.
