I’ve known Coach Bacca for over 10 years. Unfortunately, due to the distance, I haven’t had the pleasure of personally joining his conditioning program—but I’ve been able to follow his work from afar. With my deep experience in the physical conditioning world, I know how diligent he is in his studies and how much care he puts into his craft. The results he delivers for his clients speak for themselves. ATP gets five stars from me.

ATP offers group classes and personal training. After being a member for several years I could not possibly love a gym more. The environment is inclusive and well thought out. There is a recovery room with a steam sauna and cold plunge. The owners Stephanie and Juan, and coach Mary, are professionals and always learning and teaching their clients. Their fitness competency and philosophy is A+!

I have been working out with Stephanie at ATP for 8+ years. She is by far the best trainer I have ever worked with in my 51 years and I have worked with a few :-). She is extremely knowledgeable in all 4 pillars of the ATP philosophy: movement, nutrition, mindset and recovery. It really is a totally transformational program for all aspects of your life...and, it gives you an amazing ATP booty too! (IYKYK) I have also had the pleasure of working with Juan and Mary in the group classes over the years. They are both amazing and each bring something special to the ATP family. I highly recommend!

Juan and the ATP team have changed my life. I had significant injuries to my rotator cuff, wrist, calf, and groin which caused me to hang up basketball sneakers for good three years ago. I mentally and physically couldn't deal with another potential injury until a good friend convinced me to give ATP a shot. Thankfully I listened to him, because I am back on the court, hiking, and training without thinking about any of my past injuries. Juan not only gives me my own specialized training routine on a weekly basis, but explains to me the importance and benefit of all that I do. The facility is amazing and recovery room is a huge plus. I would highly recommend ATP to anyone looking to transform their body in a safe and healthy way, instead of just for the aesthetics.

ATP has transformed my approach to training in so many ways. By addressing foundational movement patterns at every session, my athletic performance has improved dramatically. Before I began training at ATP, my shoulders and joints would hurt after a workout. Now, I am able to squat, deadlift, and pull-up effectively without pain. In addition to weight training, ATP also emphasizes recovery, mindset, and nutrition. By addressing these elements of their mission, Juan and Stephanie have created an environment for growth both inside and outside of the gym.

I've been training at ATP for the last 7 years and it's been life changing for me. I look and feel better than I did in my 30s all thanks to the support, training and direction of Juan and Stephanie. They have evolved in developing this amazing program where you see yourself evolve into moving better, stronger and become a better version of yourself. They are not only my trainers, they are my friends and family.
I recently had a shoulder injury on the slopes. At the recommendation of my doctor, I went to PT. I was in pain...a lot of pain after each session of PT. I decided to stop PT, and continue my training with ATP...my shoulder has considerably improved...without pain. In my opinion, Stephanie and Juan have more knowledge in the movement of the human body than most PTs. The results show for themselves.
Whether you have an injury or want to become a better moving human, I highly recommend ATP Performance Facility!

I began training with Juan and Steph in July of 2011. Over the past ten years, they have become my close friends and more like family than coaches. During that time, I have watched them evolve their fitness philosophy and change their approach to training. What has never changed, however, is their commitment to me and to my development as both an athlete and a human. They truly care about my results and my success. Be aware, this isn't LA Fitness - in fact, I hope it's the opposite. You'll get in shape but it's about movement, not posing. If you want coaches who are dedicated to your improvement, who work to evolve so that you can evolve, and if you want to train and move like an athlete in a friendly and supportive environment, then ATP Performance is the place for you.

I have been working out at ATP with Juan, Stephanie and Coach T for about a year now and only have great things to say about their workout program and general learning atmosphere they have created for those who want to workout in a more holistic approach. I have done traditional strength training and circuit class workouts before ATP but I truly enjoy the style of their classes the most. The small classes and informational training have taught me to concentrate on moving my body in practical ways that help me in everyday life. I couldn’t recommend this gym more, 10/10!

I’ve been at ATP for a year now and it has been a wonderful experience. I was having severe lower back pain last year and joined ATP after going to multiple physical therapists and feeling only slightly better. I was also scared to even go to the gym in case I exacerbated my injury. At ATP, I was able to overcome my fear of injury and trust my coaches. I feel stronger, my pain has reduced, and I can do movements and sustain positions that I was not able to last year. The coaches are caring and motivating. ATP has truly fostered a clean, safe, and comfortable space. I highly recommend ATP to anyone seeking a lifestyle change that is for the long haul.

Juan and Stephanie are the best! They're not just your typical physical trainers. Rather, they focus on movement and how best to maintain your most basic movement functions as you age, no matter your physical condition. Above and beyond, they are life coaches who give 100% of their attention to each individual client when working one on one or in a group setting. It's not just about physical training and movement patterns, Juan, Stephanie and the other trainers focus on the individual and how to best ensure their success in everyday life. They are the best!

I love this “boutique” gym. First of all the owners and trainers are super professional and knowledgeable. They become very committed to your progress. The workout is designed for your needs and is not cookie cutter. The workouts are always changing as you progress so it’s never boring. The gym has great modalities including an ice bath, a sauna and an infrared sauna. But a very important quality in today’s world is cleanliness. Stephanie and Juan, the owners, make sure it’s clean and neat. I’m a member for life!

I have been training at ATP for over two years now. Since starting at ATP I have seen a significant change in my body composition. I am stronger, more toned and have even seen a difference in the way I walk and in my posture. The coaches are amazing! They focus on specialized programs for each individual. The program constantly evolves!
Additionally, I have made long lasting relationships with the coaches as well as other trainees. ATP is an amazing gym/performance facility and is highly recommended to anyone who is serious about their movement and wellness!

I’ve been training at ATP for several years and can honestly say it’s life changing. I was in a car accident that resulted in a fully torn ACL and recovered from it because of the support and coaching at ATP (thank you, Steph). It was a long journey and I wouldn’t have truly thrived anywhere else. I’m stronger and able to move better than before. Coaches Steph, Juan and T are passionate and knowledgeable about mobility, strength, recovery and overall wellness.
The gym offers private and small group sessions. There are also recovery options such as an infrared sauna, hot/ cold plunge and direct contact with a nutritionist.
It’s also clean. Kettlebells, weights and other equipment are sanitized after each use. Floors are mopped

My experience with ATP has been life changing. 20 years ago, I developed bad herniated/compressed discs in my lower back (L4/L5/S13) and since then, I had just gotten used to severe back pain in everything I would do. From regular flare ups every few months which put me out of commission for a week at a time, to regularly not being able to stand (or sit) for more than a few minutes, or hold my baby for more than 30 seconds without being in agony, the pain just became something I assumed would always be there. Not only would the pain stop me from doing things, but the potential of something causing me pain would even stop me from doing it in the first place, which led to missing out on so many things. I tried everything from therapy to injections to pain medicine, trainers and various gym memberships, but everything was just a band aid, covering up the pain at that moment, but never providing any long term relief (or education on why the pain was not going away). Two years ago, a friend introduced me to Stephanie and Juan at ATP and I figured that I had nothing to lose. I was not in the midst of a flare up, but the chronic pain was getting to a point where I was contemplating a surgery that multiple doctors had told me had a 50/50 chance at long term success. So, I set up a call with Stephanie, who spent an hour on the phone with me, getting to know me, my history, my ideal future, etc. before getting into the details of their approach, which at the time, I really didn’t understand. She was discussing Gait patterns and fundamental body movements, the important of sleep and nutrition, and asked that I come by to meet with her and her husband Juan. After spending 30 minutes sitting with them and understanding what ATP was all about, I signed up and made what I consider to be one of the best decisions of my life. Over the past 2 years, with Juan’s guidance, expertise (and friendship), we have retaught my body how to move, while constantly educating me while we train, utilizing weights, kettle bells, resistance bands, and other machines. I’m stronger and in better physical shape than I’ve ever been and am constantly surprising myself with the things I do that I wouldn’t imagine doing before (like going from carrying a 10 pound infant with severe pain, to lifting 200 pounds with a smile). Without getting into any technical details, this knowledge has allowed me to not just succeed in the gym, but way more importantly, it’s helped me start a whole new pain-free life outside of the gym. Juan, Stephanie and ATP really did change my life.

ATP is one of the best private facilities I've attended, it's clean and affordable. Being morbidly obese one could feel out of place at certain gyms but this facility made me feel accepted and strong even in my worst stage of health its somewhat of a community.

I contacted trhough the Strong First website Stephanie because she was allegedly Strong First coache. Even though we agreed to specifically only Strong First ketllebell, barbell, and bodyweight tng, they Stephnie and her husband Juan, began a different kind of trainnig and never even mention anything about Strong First. We were expected to pay for a training that had no definite length of time and no written plan at all, no nstandars, no objectives. We were supposed to show up , pay and train no questions. I saw no connection to Strong First. Instead we are just doing some weird exercises attaching bands and dragging kettlebell all over. I question it, the method, and asked for a plan, objectives or something, but I was told to be patient while my request was ignore several times. Then after 10 senseless training sessions where thgey actually did not treat my wife with respect simply because she was doin something she has never done before in her life, I became frustrated with these senseless kettlebell band dragging tng and asked and question Juan directly about the science beheind his method and he got offended. His very first response was: "If you like I can give you your money back if you dont like the tng" and asked him why was I not doing Strong first tng, he answer " you don't understand" and I reply If I don't understand is because I asked several time for the last 3 weeks and you have not replied with reasonable answer. Later, his wife Stephanie, text me implying that I am not inteligent That I needed to be patient and shut up. At no point have they even attempted to understand my complaint, or apologize to look for answer to the [roblem. For them the problem is me, a non conforming client. They are so arrogant when it comes to their knowledge of training. Basically eventhough I am a PAYING CUSTOMER I have no right to question anything.

Less pain and discomfort in my back, joints and as a result, recovery is much quicker. This type of workout and training is once again NEXT LEVEL.

It has been 3.5 months that i transitioned from Crossfit to just ATP Movement Program and i feel incredible! For the first time in years I have no joint or muscle pain without a massage or acupuncture. Now that my movements have become more ideal we have started to incorporate skill work such as pullups, pushups, deadlifts, kettlebell swings presses and cleans. I made my high school son who plays football incorporate his movement exercises into his daily routine and he too notices a huge difference in his sport as well as his body! I would highly recommend ATP Performance Facility to anyone who is serious about their health and longevity- Juan and Stephanie are just AWESOME!

I visited ATP during my vacation in Florida, looking for somewhere to do som BJJ while away from home.
Everybody was super friendly and made me feel at home even though i came all the way from Sweden. Great coaches, cool students and a well managed gym. I learned some good moves and had a great time. I would recommend everyone to pay them a visit if you are around.

I was lucky enough to happen across this studio while vacationing from Michigan. If you are a southern Florida local this is absolutely no reason to search for any where else to train. I have to admit, I was completely nervous trying CrossFit for the first time- not sure about how it was broken down and if I would fully understand the proper Olympic lifts. After my first private session with Juan I knew I was in good hands. Juan is an INCREDIBLE coach/instructor. Really broke down the lifts properly and is extremely knowledgable in not only CrossFit but also athletic performance. Excellent coaching and gave me good homework to take home with me so for improvement, not very many trainers/coaches will go that extra mile. Definitely will be returning! Highly recommended!

My girlfriend and I are visiting from Crossfit Lilburn 678 in Atlanta and did a drop in. We paid the 25 dollars each and got a t-shirt to go with it (great quality shirt from next level apparel) We were greeted by the owner and several members that were extremely polite and felt welcomed from the time we stepped in the door. We decided to come in for open gym and do our own workout , the layout of the gym was easy to navigate and plenty of equipment to use! We do hope to try and make it back before we fly back to Atlanta ! Thanks Crossfit ATP for a great experience from start to finish!

I dropped in to this box when I was traveling and was expecting a typical WOD. This was far from typical. The owner and coach, Juan, was friendly and asked me how long I had been CrossFitting (at that time it was about 6 months). He asked me to show him a few basic movements so he could be sure I was ready for this particular class. The class I attended was a Kettle bell class. The participants in it had already taken at least 3 hour of kettle bell fundamentals - Juan let me in but told me he would be watching me. Let me tell you that the first 10 minutes felt like a full WOD at my home box. I learned more in that one hour Kettle bell class about using a kettle bell PROPERLY that it changed my entire CrossFit direction. Since then, I've become an L1 certified CrossFit instructor and have used many of the techniques I learned in that one hour to help others. Highly recommend this box!

Dear Potential Future Crossfit ATP Member,
I do not often write reviews, but have made an exception due to my unfortunately poor experience with Crossfit ATP. From my own observations of the training space, I noted that it was a small, compact space with as many as 25 people marking their territory to lift. Most of which seemed to have an adequate technique at best. There were some people that had to workout outside of the gym in the parking lot because of a lack of space. The parking lot in itself has its own set of problems, being too small and dispersed with people trying to lift as well. Some cars simply parked wherever they found an empty space, not a designated legal specified parking space.
As an avid and experienced weightlifter and athlete for the past 7 consecutive years, I was disappointed to be shunned from Crossfit ATP in Dania Beach. All of the reviews posted here tend to exhibit Juan's "positive" personality, but my experience was nothing like the man described by the other reviewers. Juan was firm in not allowing me to participate in the program due to my lack of knowledge for the terms of weightlifting. Please note that I did know the techniques for the exercises yet, his negative attitude clearly exhibited an atmosphere that I did not want to join. I felt very unwelcome to the environment and resulting in me being displeased.
If you simply intend to workout and get into great shape, you do not need Crossfit. My advise to you is to youtube search bodyweight circuit training. Crossfit has a bad name for many reasons; they value strain over proper technique...I simply went to Crossfit for a one time free workout to lift for fun before going back home from school and ended up wasting my time in being told I would not be allowed to join or participate. Ultimately, this is your decision to join and this is only one honest review.

Walking into Crossfit ATP for the first time, I was overwhelmed by the warm and sincere greetings of the coaches and athletes. Despite never having any formal Crossfit training, I was unsure of what to expect and what the discipline was all about but I knew within the first five minutes of being inside ATP that this was the place for me..... The atmosphere was full of excitement, passion and comradery. It is a place that not only can I come to grow as a person and as an athlete but it is a place where families and friends come together to succeed! It was then during my first week that I quickly learned Crossfit was much more than just working out or a discipline... it was a way of life!
Through the dedication, education and instruction of the coaches at Crossfit ATP, I have been able to accomplish more in 5 months than I did after spending 10+ years in a conventional gym. Coaches Juan, Stephanie, Mary, Jorge and Brandon take a personal stake in each athlete to ensure safety, proper form and technique while also delivering an experience that far exceeds expectations!
Although my journey through Crossfit has just begun, it will continue to be a way of life through the direction and support of Crossfit ATP.

I have been a member of the gym for about 2 months now, with no previous crossfit experience. I only knew one person going in, and I am very grateful and lucky to have the opportunity to surround myself with such sincere, friendly, and supportive people. The coaches are full of knowledge and positive motivation. They go out of their way to assure you that you are pushing yourself to your maximum potential. There are no egos here, just a family-like atmosphere. Bottom line is that you'll probably get a good work out at any gym you join, but if you want superior training by professionals while surrounding yourself with good people, then this gym is the only one you should consider.

True Story... A friend of mine referred me and another girlfriend to CrossFit ATP. Before I even started people told me that I couldn't/shouldn't do it. They threw all these misconceptions at me: "it's too hard - it's only for military types or cops and firefighters in training..." Well, those people were wrong!
The minute we walked in, we received the best treatment - I like to think of it as VIP! Juan (the owner) screens all clients before any papers are signed. This is done because ATP cares! He and the others are always educating us and reinforcing proper form and techniques. I love all the people there! The coaches (Juan, Stephanie, Jorge, Mary, and Brandon) are very caring - it's like were all one big family...happy family!
I worked out with a personal trainer for 8 years before starting at CrossFit ATP. In the past year, I've seen more positive results with my figure, than I ever did doing 2+ hours of cardio & weight training every day! It seems as if I get more one-on-one attention now, too!
The Kettlebell training is awesome and the CrossFit is just the same, combined they make me feel stronger and more fit than I ever did before. Without the workshops and conditioning that I went through I wouldn't be where I am right now. That and so much more is what really makes ATP stand apart from other boxes.

"EXCELLENT - possessing outstanding quality or superior merit; remarkably good."
I started CrossFit ATP after working with a trainer at LaFitness for 8 months. Though my trainer was a great, there was only so much I could get out of my 25 minutes sessions 3 times per week. I was bored out of my mind and I would pass by ATP on my way to the gym everyday. I finally got the courage to send in email to get more details. Well, the rest, as they say, is history! I've never wanted to be as physically active as I am now. Going to ATP is one of the highlights of my day. I've learned so much about fitness, and proper form, and I've seen and so many changes in myself that would've taken years at the rate I was going.
All the coaches are Top Shelf, in my opinion, and though you may not go to meet new friends, you gain so so many. We all push each other to do better and the vibe is always right!
My experience at ATP has been priceless and it gets better everyday - I can't recommend it enough!
Lastly, you must know that you will be provided with the upmost care and coaching available, this isn't a business for ATP - it's a FAMILY!
