Was visiting the area and checked out this gym for my workout. The owner was amazing and I felt comfortable right away. I really wanted to check out the outside gym area but it was raining so I didn’t get to but it looked so cool. The equipment is efficient, not super fancy but everything you need to get a great workout!

One of the few remaining "old school" gyms, but with a unique touch. They have inside & outside workout areas with all the equipment you need whether a beginner, or advanced. Crystal, the owner/trainer/pro body builder gave me a great personal training session here today! I'm here on vacation and found this great gem of a gym around the corner from my Airbnb. Make sure to book a private session with her, you won't regret it because she's incredibly knowledgable and passionate about fitness. She catered a workout to my focused areas and I learned lots of new techniques through this fun workout! If I lived in the area, I would definitely sign up for more training from her.

You walk into Beach Bods and at least one of the members of the family that own the gym is there. They smile or wave at you. They're always giving new members a tour of both the indoor and outdoor facilities. Posters and cut-outs from magazines of body building heroes are everywhere. Silly and funny signs that inform you of the required etiquette cover the rest of the walls. When the Barbie movie premiered, Beach Bods turned into a Barbie shrine.

It all adds to a feeling of belonging that set in really quickly for me. A feeling that is much more difficult to acquire at a gym like Crunch. The world is a way better place when we have more family owned businesses that share their personality and love with us.

Great gym, very inexpensive, a little crammed in, but lots of choices, cardio machines, weight machines, dumb bells, barbells, free weight stations. A few spots to do stretching in the section outside. If you're on vacation, definitely the place you can go everyday for a hour and work up a sweat.

Free weights, bars and plates galore. Treadmills, stairclimber, elliptical units for aerobic trading. Indoor gym and additional outdoor gym space as well. Complete with heavy and speed bags too. Space is tight but guaranteed all you need for a superb workout. Owners are very nice and approachable and members are friendly. Keep to yourself or make new friends. LOVE IT!

Been here going on a year, and it's one of the best gyms I've ever been to, and, as a 25 yr gym rat, I've been to many.

First I tried "Treasure Island Athletic Club," but the owner gave me a hard time for moving a piece of equipment (whether I was right or wrong, he was out of line), but I'm glad it happened because it led me to Beach Bods.

The owner Pauley is a cool guy. He runs it with his wife and daughter. They keep it clean and open 24/7.

My favorite part is the outside portion. You can take your shirt off outside, and squat, deadlift, dip, pull-up, etc., with fresh air!

This is my new gym. They have a great 24 hour gym that takes you back to the old days. Good ole pure iron free weights. How you get mass and strength also included with all the new machines to zone in on specific parts of your body that you might want to work on. Spent a week in St Pete and we were so glad to find a gym nearby! Place is clean - tons of weights - dumbbells etc and even has an outdoor area set up with workout equipment - and you can sign up for classes - great parking. Owner is a really cool guy ! It’s an old school style gym and just a great place to workout! I also got two boxing lessons with a local trainer Stu who works out of the gym! One of the highlights of my trip! All killer, no filler.

They have all of the equipment you'll need for a good workout, and then some. This is definitely a no frills type of gym. The people that work out there are friendly and courteous, and most of them know a thing or two about lifting.

Downsides: it's pretty small, so it can get a little cramped and there aren't many duplicates of machines (except for cardio equipment). So, you might have to work in with somebody, or do an alternative exercise (which is totally possible). The squat rack and boxing equipment are kept outside. Working out in the Florida heat is no fun, but it's probably good for you.

All-in-all, I was only in the area for a few weeks, but I really enjoyed working out here and would do it again.

This gym is fantastic. I traveled from the West Coast with my girlfriend to find a gym with well-maintained equipment and a clean facility. I also loved the outdoor area in the back. I workout often, and I am relegated to those "mega-gyms". Beach Bods had everything I needed, including friendly service from the owner, George, and manager, Steven, to every piece of equipment I needed for a great workout.

My girlfriend loved the place, and even worked out there a few times by herself - she told me she felt super-comfortable. We were in town on vacation, and little did we realize we not only took a break from our hectic work lives, but we also took a break from those hectic "mega-gyms", and found a piece of paradise at Beach Bods.

I attend the boot camp on Saturdays ,as well as the gym throughout the week ,and I think this is a fabulous gym! It is a serious gym but also so friendly. The vibe there is genuine and supportive and the people who go there are friendly. The owner is dedicated,and kind as well as the gym manager. They go out of their way to make sure people are happy and are very attentive to making the gym a great place for everyone of all ages. A fabulous place.!

This is great gym for the price if you have some experience at working out. The equipment has a nice variety, and there are several stations/machines to work out each body part. The only bench press there with a bar is badly outdated, but you'll need to learn how to use it if you want to adjust it to incline or decline.

This is a Jersey strong personality type, that works out here. Friendly people if you can relate with North Easterners.
