This is Robin, not Ron. I have been taking a Duo class with my friend at Belleair Fitness for about 6 weeks and I LOVE IT! We have been working with Sue but did have a class with Amber once when Sue was away and they are both fantastic. I love that she adds something new every week and she really pays attention to us and ask how we are feeling through out the class.

Belleair fitness is a wonderful Pilates studio located in the town of Belleair. Their small and intimate classes are taught by three amazing teachers and the studio equipment and reformers are state of the art. I stated taking classes about six months ago and can really see a great improvement in my balance, strength and flexibility. It’s a great place for both classes and private one on one lessons.

Belleair Pilates is such an amazing asset to our community. Classes are small and personal. All of the instructors are wonderful. The best part is each class is different. I have been going to Sue Riley’s Pilates class for almost a year now. I really enjoy the smallness of the class as there are only four reformers.
I feel my core has become stronger, and my flexibility and breathing has improved tremendously!!
I can’t say enough about Sue as our head coach. She is excellent!! Clear on her instructions and makes sure our form is correct to prevent injury.
If you are looking for a Pilates class, Belleair Fitness is the best!!

I was new to the Belleair area and had been a pilates student in another city. I am so pleased to have found Belleair Fitness! Sue Riley has been my primary instructor and she has proven to have excellent pilates knowledge and skill. I am a "senior" with knee issues and Sue knows how to make each class " safe" and productive. She is able to individualize great solutions for each member of our group reformer class. So if you are looking for a pilates or fitness class, I suggest Belleair Fitness..they have your best interests at heart!!

I’m new to Pilates and incredibly inflexible so it’s been a great challenge. Amber is the kindest yet effective trainer. I’ve now done a mix of private and group classes and I’m hooked. Not a single class routine is the same and Amber has new things to try all the time.

Pilates has changed the way I feel about my body and myself. I thought my age (70’s) was a limitation to serious full body workouts plus I’ve always had to force myself to go to my previous gym sessions. (UGH!) Now all that has changed. Knowing Amber will be waiting to give me a full body workout and will concentrate on whatever part of me needs extra stretches and work now has me ready and happy to get to class. The studio is always bright and clean, the trainers are always so pleasant and ready to get to work. Very encouraging always! I will live longer and live better because I have chosen to put Pilates and Belleair Fitness in my life.

Sue and Amber were very welcoming! After taking one reformer group class, I immediately knew this was exactly what I had been looking for to change up and boost my workout routine to the next level. Amber is amazing and very knowledgeable about the different variations. She has a calm and encouraging demeanor that helps you push through a tough workout to reach your max potential in a controlled and safe manner! I have had about 10 classes and have improved my flexibility, chronic lower back pain (due to sciatica), and increased my core strength all thanks to these lovely ladies. I will definitely keep coming back and highly recommend them to anyone whether you are a beginner at pilates or seasoned. I'm so glad I found this place!

This studio is a hidden gem in the heart of Belleair. I started out with private sessions and moved to group reformer classes. (Only because I was not sure of what I was doing). The group reformer classes are small (only 4 can attend at a time) and this lends itself to basically receiving one on one instruction during the class. Sue, Cindi, and Amber all do a fantastic job of helping correct your form and posture so that you reap the maximum benefits of Pilates. As you master one set of exercises the ladies will adjust the intensity so that you keep getting stronger. Be sure and give it a try!

After years of sit ups , crunches and russian twists trying to work and strengthen my abdominals/core that never really seemed to work, I have finally found pilates to be the missing link I have been looking for. This is a full body workout that I feel is actually working. I have knee, lower back, and neck issues. The controlled choreographed movements that are done in this one hour class, overseen by the watchful and experienced eye of Sue our instructor have caused me no problems with any of these issues. I highly recommend this studio in all respects.

Discovered Belleair Fitness about 4 years ago, and couldn’t be happier. I am in my early 60’s and it’s been remarkable to discover the many positive results Pilates offers. Sue, Cindi, and Aly are all incredible instructors with impressive credentials and experience. They’re personal training sessions are always tailored to your personal needs, and their group sessions of are designed for all levels of experience. They are hands on and attentive during sessions, give clear instructions, and make corrections to ensure everyone’s body alignment and technique are correct.
Pilates has helped me in so many areas, weight loss, muscle stengthinging, toning, balance, and increased flexibility. The most surprising benefit was how therapeutic Pilates is, as I noticed my arthritic toe and shoulder discomforts slowly improve over time.
I feel fortunate to have discovered Belleair Fitness, the comfortable environment and personal support is unusual to find. 4 years later I still look forward to my sessions especially during covid. They have always kept their studio very clean. The precautionary Covid steps they implemented, and stringently adhere to, offers a safe no stress environment..

Even though it was a group class, the specialized personal attention to each individual made this class feel like a one-on-one session. Classes provide the availability from beginner students to the more advanced students and Sue and Cindi helped me to adjust the exercises depending on my own physical limitations as I tend to have a lower stuff back. The studio is beautiful and in a very private setting.

I have a consistent gym routine, but I was convinced to try Pilates. I was hesitant at first, but when I got there, Sue made me feel welcome and walked me through each exercise. I had to focus more on my core and less on using heavy weights, as I do at the gym. I’d recommend Pilates for anyone, including those looking to start weight lifting, because focusing on form and core is so important to improve your overall strength. The Group Reformer classes are challenging for me because I have limited flexibility in my back and hamstrings, but after about two classes I was already feeling more flexible. Pilates is great workout in itself, but it also a great supplement to other routines you may have. At Belleair Pilates, the classes are smaller which allows for more direct attention and Sue is a great instructor who is skilled at making the classes challenging, as well as, modifying the exercises, when needed.

I've been going to Belleair Pilates since January of 2019. After completing physical therapy for overall weakness in my core, glutes, and shoulder, my PT recommended I transition to pilates to continue working on my overall strength. Pilates has done just that and more for me! I've done both private class and Group Reformer Class with Sue. Sue is a skilled, caring instructor who makes all the classes challenging, welcoming, and fun! I have seen and felt my body grow so much stronger over these past months, and I'm so thankful for Sue and Belleair Pilates, because now, I live day-to-day life feeling strong, without pain. Pilates is also helpful to improve performance with other exercises and has helped me continue other exercises that I love. The small Group Reformer class size is ideal because it allows for more individual attention from Sue and she can help walk you through an exercise or modify it to your needs. I absolutely would recommend Belleair Pilates to all ages and to anyone looking to challenge their body to improve overall strength and wellness!

I am so glad I found Sue and Belleair Fitness! I had never tried pilates before, so I was apprehensive because I didn't know at all what to expect, but Sue made me feel welcomed since day one. The Group Reformer class sizes are small (only 4 people MAX), which is great, especially if you are a beginner and need a little extra help like I initially did. I rarely find forms of exercise that I enjoy enough to stick with long-term, but I am happy to say I have finally found that with pilates at Belleair Fitness. Highly recommend!

Cindi and Sue are uniquely qualified to customize work outs for me and my particular situation (5 back surgeries and a weak core). The progress I have made in core strength is amazing and I credit Sue and Cindi. The are knowledgable, positive and encouraging!

Love this studio and the trainers are fabulous. I’ve always hated working out endlessly on a treadmill and I finally found a way to stay fit and strong with Pilates!
