Bent Bar Gym is one of the best gyms in Clearwater! The location is convenient with a large paved parking lot. The gym is clean and never over-crowded. The equipment is good and well-maintained. I love that it’s open 24/7, so I can work out whenever it fits my schedule.

The staff is super friendly and always willing to help or answer questions, and the community vibe makes it feel like more than just a place to lift weights. Whether you’re new to fitness or an experienced lifter, there’s something here for everyone: plenty of free weights, machines and space to train.
I’ve been to a lot of gyms in the area, but Bent Bar Gym stands out because it’s local, authentic and run by people who are passionate about fitness. Plus, it is always a pleasure to see Bruce, the gym dog. 🐶💕 I highly recommend checking out this gym— you’ll feel right at Home.

This gym is THE gym if you are looking for a powerhouse. Owner is extremely friendly, it was well organized, and has everything you could want from dumbbells, machines, resistance jungle, power racks, and cardio equipment. When I come back to Clearwater, this is the place I’m coming back to!

This gym is pretty nice, great equipment and plenty to do, bathrooms were clean and had private showers, management was easy to get ahold of and had great hospitality, all the other guests were really nice. Prices were pretty nice too, I got a week pass and didn’t feel like I broke my pockets haha.

I would 100% recommend this gym if you’re passing through Clearwater. I’ll definitely be coming here again.

I dropped into this gym pretty late in the evening and really appreciated that the owner, Philip, was willing to accommodate me on such short notice.

Bent Bar Gym is a solid gym with all the key equipment for effective weight training. Whether you’re focused on heavy lifts or accessory work, this place has you covered.

The cost was super reasonable, especially for a one time visit. Philip made the whole process easy and welcoming.

Highly recommend if you’re looking for a no-BS place to lift that respects your time and your training.

Awesome gym! Visiting from out of town and decided to grab a week pass from this place. I met the owner upon arrival and he was very friendly and knowledgeable of the area (which was useful as I plan to move to the area soon). 10/10 gym, well maintained equipment, not super crowded which is good, and has a close parking lot which is ideal when raining. I will revisit this gym if I vacation to the area again and I recommend any gym goer to give this place a try.

Just dropped by the gym today looking for a couple day passes. The two other gyms we tried visiting before had nobody answering the phone or door and this one did! The owner came by personally to help us get set up. Perfect for what we needed - a squat rack, dumbbells, machines and more. Not too crowded and pretty spacious.

There is always someone there, whether a problem with the machine or just the necessity of a day pass. The owner is always there or even just a call away. He has driven before to the gym just to help someone with a day pass in the late hours. When it comes to customer service, they get it right.

It's like having your own little gym in Clearwater with 24/7 access at a great price. I've come in the mornings, evenings and frequently in the afternoon and if I'm not the only person there, there might be 1 or 2 more members max. The owner is super nice and the other members have been kind and focused on training. I've been to a lot of gyms (LA Fitness, 24 Hour fitness, Gold's etc.) This one is my favorite for the price and convenience.

I’ve been here at the Bent Bar Gym since it opened and I don’t believe you will find a cleaner, friendlier gym environment anywhere in Clearwater. I’ve been teaching out of the gym since it’s opening and all my clients, gym members and non members, are always commenting on how nice the gym is. I feel like it’s my second home! Marc and Vicki, the owners, take pride in their gym and are always on the upkeep of their equipment and keep the place pristine! They are very available to serve you in whatever your needs maybe. Ive been going to this gym for about 8 months. It is a very good gym, its a bit small but not in a bad way. It is never packed with people, and there are multiple times where i have the gym to myself. The equipment is nice, and its way better then my community gym! So i like it.

I got a month membership as I'm just passing through, the owner and her husband seemed like very unhappy people, and that should have been a red flag for such a small gym with her there most of the time. Like the other reviewer said, very rude people and a serious lack of privacy. They monitor how often you use the shower vs workout. I used the shower one time before I got a text from the owner saying that the place isn't for showers only, even though I showered AFTER my workout, and had worked out a few times there already. They knew they already had my money and that I wouldn't be around long, they just wanted to cause me a problem so I'd leave. This place is a scam.

I've been enjoying this Gym for about 6 years. You won't find a cleaner gym including the bathrooms! There is plenty of equipment and weights. The owners are there daily and are very friendly and approachable. The members are friendly and respectful, no grunting and

Despite its rebranding as Bent Bar Gym, the management has unfortunately carried over the negative aspects of its previous incarnation, Anytime Fitness. The gym owners maintain an unwelcoming atmosphere, marked by unnecessary surveillance and aggression towards members. It is disconcerting to be eyed constantly while you're trying to focus on your workouts. The evident lack of consideration for members is a huge letdown, making it difficult to enjoy any part of the gym experience. Ultimately, Bent Bar Gym proves to be an unfavorable choice for fitness enthusiasts who value privacy, respect, and a positive workout environment.
