Very, very well equipped gym. This is not for the planet fitness crowds. This is for serious weight lifters. They have every piece of equipment to get a great workout. Some of the equipment has been well used, but every piece was functional.
The owner is very knowledgeable and a wealth of information.
Gym is open 24 hours a day and very reasonably priced. It was about $8/day for a one week pass.

BB Performance Gym is the best hard-core Gym available in the Port Saint luce and Stuart area in Florida! The owner Bob Benedix and his two sons were the best to talk and deal with!
I so enjoyed my two week stay at this Gym! I had the best intense workouts with BB's complete array of old and new Gym equipment!
I cannot say enough about the owner Bob and his family and the Gym itself!
I'll be back fo' sure!

If you are looking for a great gym, look no further than Big BB Performance Center. The equipment is modern, top notch, and well maintained. The gym is private, family owned and open 24/7 so you can workout whenever fits your schedule best. Bob and his two sons Brett and Jake are amazing people and decorated athletes and competitors themselves. The atmosphere if friendly, supportive and it gives you a sense that everyone is really pushing to achieve their goals. With plennnnty of cardio equipment, free weights, machines, and variations at your disposal, the possibilities of growth and staying fit are endless!

At first, I was happy and relieved to find a gym that has it all. After a time there, I noticed the gym was very hot. I thought it was one of the AC broken. And after saying a thing about it, it turned out to be that it was. The temperature was reading 79-80. After being changed, and at this time it is still 77-78…. Saying it’s hot wouldn’t be a bad joke. If it was only that I would maybe tolerate or asked to lower at a decent temperature like 75-76. But because the gym has crackes at door and everywhere heat specifically now in summer, where temperature can raise up/above to 95°F - YIKE. It’s a strike!

On top of this the monthly fee is $75 + tax, which is pretty expensive but again sometimes it’s worth it when it’s a high end gym. We say pictures say more than words. I let you see for yourself.

Despite sharing thoughts to Bob about what could be going better for the gym, it’s left as is because that’s the ways it’s always been. The gyms critically unmaintained, unreasonably hot and at a high price. It just isnt matching. I hate being the bad guy bringing the news, but if those 2 first points at least would be revisited - it would be a great review from me. I’ve been in thousands of gym and I’m sad to say it has been one of the most disappointing.

I love this place. It's not your average gym. It is a cut above! Great place to work out. Been a member for over 10 years. It is family owned and operated. Run by Bob the owner and his sons Jake and Brett. Bob is a world class professional weight lifter. Because of his knowledge just knowing him is worth the price of admission. Through Bob's tutelage over the years I have watched his sons grow from young boys into amazing young men. Kudos to Bob as a father and Jake and Brett as sons. I am proud to know the 3 of them. I just moved to the area and have tried a few different gyms. First off, I came here specifically because I knew the equipment would be top notch. A private, family owned gym in my past experiences have ALWAYS been the most friendly, welcoming, and supportive gyms vs a “chain gym”. The equipment is awesome, the staff is awesome, never too crowded and plenty of room and different things to choose from if it were to be busy. I came into the gym my first time having a terrible day being in a new city alone and found a friendly safe haven here. I love this gym!

The staff and customers are very friendly and can help you with questions and if you are new to exercise. This gym is not where you feel as if you can’t fit in . Best place to train on the Treasure Coast, family owned and operated for 30 years. Run by knowledgeable, caring staff who practice what they preach. Each of the Benedix family are accomplished lifters in their own right, with records and accolades to prove it!

They have taken me under their wing and have continued to guide me towards my fitness goals. I'm so glad I found them! Members are friendly and hard working. There's a huge cardio area, ample machines, free weights, squat racks, and a huge array of bars and weights.

Three years ago I came back to the gym after about 7 years. My father passed and I was in a very bad car accident. I knew that If I didn't get serious about getting in shape, I would not be able to take care of my mom and my family. I invested in training with Bob and started with machines. He brought me into free weights, benching, squatting, and dead lifting. He eventually brought me into the lifting team. I'm doing things that I NEVER thought I would be able to do and I have him and the team to thank for it. There is support all over the gym. Everyone there is great and helpful. Listening to Bob and drinking Glycoforce changed me forever. Thank you Bob and Glycoforce for a new healthy lifestyle.

This Gym has everything! It doesn't matter what fitness level you are or where you want to be. It has Texas Power bars, Dead lift bars, free weight squat racks, leg press that you can load over 1500 pounds on, bands, ropes, chains, Dumbells, Competition caliber steel plates. It also has a complete array of machines. The owners are all personal trainers with backgrounds in Kinesiology and diet and have the bodies to match. Everyone here is really nice and will either help you or leave you alone. It has a family atmosphere and is the home of GlycoForce- Glycogen replenishment beverage to get you through those tough workouts.

I’ve been coming here for almost two years now and I can say without a shadow of a doubt this is one of the best gyms in the area. The family that owns it are all incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. It’s 24/7 as well so it’s very convenient for anyone with a tight schedule. The owner and rest of the staff are friendly, positive and knowledgeable. I didn't know how to properly lift until I walked in the door a few years ago. They have the best products including shakes, aminos and my favorite, Glycoforce. This place is a 2nd home and I'm very grateful to be a member.
