I just recently visited this gym and I was soooo impressed. This facility offers so much! It has amazing equipment plus it's clean & organized. There are several different areas for different types of training including a functional fitness area and a variety of classes on schedule. They actually just added pilates too which I LOVE! Highly recommend checking out this one stop- shop for all things health & fitness. One of the best things about this gym is the friendly staff and amazing energy! Make it easy to get in, stay motivated and do work ⭐️

One legged gym guy

If you’re looking for a gym that does not cost an arm or leg with a family friendly atmosphere, then take it from a guy who has one leg that this gym is for you.
Nora (the owner) and her staff are amazing people that will always greet you with a smile and say hello when you are walking in. They keep this gym spotless and clean.
Any questions you may have, they will answer them immediately.

My fellow gym patrons are awesome and amazing people as well. No one stares at my prosthetic leg
because they are dedicated to working out. Whenever I have needed assistance, there has always been someone there to either spot me or just assist me with a weight.

I have never used the fitness coaches at the gym, but from what I have seen from their clients, they have had great success in either losing weight or building muscle. So if your New Year’s resolution is to shed a few pounds or get stronger, then talk to the front desk about setting up a consultation with a coach to get your fitness journey started today.

I know this review might sound fluffy or corny, but it’s the god’s honest truth on how I feel about this gym. I’ve been working out for 30 years and have been to a lot of gyms and by far this one’s the best one of them all.

We recently moved to the area and we found Bluewater Fitness! We immediately felt like home here. This gym has exceeded our expectations for the gym but also the Kidzone! The Kidzone staff is top-notch. Every single one of their staff are accommodating, loving and so kind to my kid. I actually get to have a stress free workout knowing that my child is in great hands and knowing they feels safe and happy! We have lived in many places and this is the first gym that I am highly impressed with the childcare, so its a big deal to us. They also have cute events for the kids and we appreciate how clean the whole facility is. I can go on and on but I highly reccomend everything about Bluewater Fitness! Clean, plenty of equipment and the best part for my family is the childcare. Our old gym, my daughter HATED going. Now when I pick her up from school she asks if we are going because she has so much fun. My little motivator! They can have drinks and snacks which is a huge bonus, she couldn’t have ANYTHING in the old childcare. I’m not big on classes, they have spin, Zumba, HITT and probably more but I don’t utilize it, just the equipment for lifting.

Bluewater Fitness is so much more than a top tier fitness facility, it’s a vital organ of the community.

On top of keeping the community healthy, they are constantly growing and innovating based on the community requests, sponsoring and coordinating community & charity events, and hosting KidZone parties/face panting events for spooky season.

As new parents in a new town, we initially felt nervous to leave our baby at the gym’s KidZone while we worked out. Now, I can honestly say that the KidZone team (not limited to the KZ crew - everyone that keeps BF running is amazing) has had a massive positive impact on our entire family. Our baby is cared for so well here and he has made friends, grown and developed faster, and smiles constantly when he’s here. Seeing the joy on his face when we walk into BF while his squishy little legs start happily kicking around is enough to make me vouch to anyone that Bluewater Fitness is the right place for your family.

I want to leave a review specifically for the Kid Zone at BW Fitness- They have made getting back in the gym after becoming a mom a 10/10 experience. The employees are always so sweet and fun with my toddler, the space is always clean, and my clingy 1 1/2 year old loves being there. It’s so awesome to be able to go use a really nice gym and then wash off in the cleanest gym showers in the world (I was seriously impressed), all while my kid is happy and safe under the same roof. If you’re a parent and you’re not sure if the tiny kidzone fee (it’s SO affordable) is worth adding to your membership, I can assure you- IT IS.

A big thank you to Nora and her staff. I recently moved to Niceville to be closer to family. And retire! One of my tasks were to join a club, but not just any fitness club. Men's restroom has been FILTHY CONSISTENTLY for the last SIX months. I (and others) have complained to the front desk six times in the last two months alone with NOTHING changing. We have even submitted written comments with management doing NOTHING!! The men's urinals are not draining and splashing pee, doors hanging for months, filthy toilets, and overflowing trash. Sauna has finally fixed after about a half a year. The only thing they keep clean is the gym area. Yet they keep the women's restroom stay pretty decent??? Maybe contacting the health department will finally get them to maintain a clean standard???

Visiting a gym for the first time can be really intimidating, but all of our experiences at Bluewater Fitness have been wonderful! My family and I have been members since the grand opening. We always look forward to and enjoy coming here. We have only used the main gym area, until the reopening after COVID 19, and now also have joined the group fitness classes. These classes have been a HUGE game changer as it helped my girls make their school cross country team for the first time in three attempted years. I have nothing but high praise for Nora Clements, owner, who is working with me as a personal trainer. Before I started, I wrote this long missive to her as a plea for help and (almost a warning) informing her that this person was a clueless individual regarding fitness ! I didn't even know what the machines were reading as I attempted to use them in the past.
In only a few weeks with her guidance my ease of motion, vitality, understanding of weights and reps , and plain old enjoyment of going there started coming together. I am a senior citizen, I have to admit. My mind said 30's but my body looked and said..70"s. Thank you Nora for your guidance and patience! Next week after my session, I'm looking forward to a few classes,...who knew!

I just joined this gym and I love it! Easy to sign up, no long term commitments but it has everything you could want so, I can’t imagine ever wanting to leave! Super clean and The Spin class is awesome with Dan! I have had a fair share of experiences in different gyms in different states. I enjoy a clean environment, updated equipment, and honest communication.
Signing up to bluewater fitness was not a good experience for me.
The equipment was not updated, most of the time a piece of equipment was torn or broken. The sauna wouldn’t work most days, and communication wasn’t clear.
When I’m paying over $50 for a basic gym membership compared to the other elite gyms I’ve been a part of this was a not worth the money.
Additionally, I cancelled my membership in person right after I was charged for the previous month. I tried 3 times prior to come in during my break to cancel my membership but no one was at the desk (during staffed hours). After I signed paperwork and confirmed with the staff member “okay I’m all set I’m cancelled and won’t be charged right?” He said yup. I even asked do I give the key card back? The staff members response was nope...
A month later I’m charged over $50 for a gym I haven’t gone to because I was told it was cancelled. And then proceeded to call to have the staff member say sorry it takes 30 days for payment to stop.... that wasn’t the case when they cancelled my husband’s membership with no problem.
I’m not satisfied at all with this gym, I feel it’s extremely overpriced for lack luster equipment.

Best gym in Niceville! My husband and I checked out the gyms in the area, including the one on Eglin AFB, and this one is by far the best that we've been to. Friendly staff and trainers, very clean, plenty of equipment, lots of classes to choose from, 24-hours, and an awesome childcare staff.
