I just finished a two week unlimited trial and LOVED it! I took 8 classes over those two weeks. I did a lot of research for Pilates studios around me and I chose BodyBar Pilates based on their offerings of early morning beginner classes, since I'm brand new to Pilates. In my area, there were mostly morning Advanced Pilates classes offered. The studio is sparkling clean, instructors all very knowledgeable and helpful with corrections, the boutique has some cute offerings (LOVE their sock selection!) If you live near SODO and want to try Pilates, I highly recommend you try a class (the first class is free). I'm a former gym rat and Pilates exercises hit totally different muscles and tendons vs. weight lifting. My doctor suggested Pilates for help with reversing Osteopina. My core is already tighter, mobility has improved greatly. So glad I took the plunge and tried this studio. I have done boot camp, yoga, personal training at the gym, spin classes - you name it! - and Pilates is the ONLY class I don't find myself wondering what time it is and hoping it's over soon. It's so enjoyable! I just signed up for their monthly unlimited package and am excited to see how Pilates transforms my body long term.

Highly recommend!!! Took Isabella’s class early am and loved it! She had a great music playlist and kept the class energized. She corrected form a few times too which is great. Looking forward to going back when I’m in the area!! I hope they open more in Florida.

I love my studio. Staff is very friendly and utmost caring. I love the location as well, not only very centric but the layout is comfortable. There is a boutique/waiting area separate from the workout area. Those arriving early can either wait or shop around and not distress or distract the class. I have visited other studios and the layout is not the same, sometimes keeping the workout area private by placing a wall partition for the reception in the middle of the space and then the workout area is dark. This one gets a lot of light and it feels ample. I kept the best for last; in my humble opinion it is the best Pilates machine. Clean studio, caring teachers, nice area with plenty of parking since they are in a strip mall next to other wellness businesses and Publix. First class is on the house! 😃

I absolutely love this studio! The classes are challenging but not overwhelming, and every instructor is kind, supportive, and always ready to help. I have weak wrists, and they always offer thoughtful accommodations that work for me.
The music is fantastic and always on point—but a heads-up for anyone with sensory sensitivities, it can be a bit loud at times.
This has truly become my home Pilates studio! ❤️

I hate to leave a bad review but I had a very bad experience here. I've been doing pilates on and off over the years and this class really bad. Instructor i had seemed like she wasnt very educated in pilates and I was concerned I could end up injured. She didnt pay attention to our form either. I think they train the instructors directly kind of like just farming people out to get these classes running yet they charge what you would for a studio with properly trained staff. If you've been to a proper studio before this will be disappointing.

Really enjoyed Joelle’s class today, she was friendly, energetic and provided suggestions for maintaining the proper form. I appreciated that the class incorporated the reformer, hand weights, and the Pilates chair for a balanced full body workout. Great studio!

Looking for a place to call home. To get back into a lifestyle of health now being premenopausal, kids, and after 7 surgeries from a car accident where had to learn to walk again. The trial class was great. Met some great people in the class and was encouraged to keep going. I signed up for twice a week classes for $200/month with their contract minimum of 3 months. I got sick with the flu the first month and they were gracious to postpone the start of my membership.
The last 4 weeks I was consistent and feeling great. Some classes are better than others including instructors. (Joelle is the best). The front desk people always change but most seemed friendly.
Except today. I’m a single mom and own my own business of 4 employees. I had a stressful work week and signed up for two classes back to back at the end of the week (Sunday) and was excited to get back to a routine for health and for the first time take care of my body. I have about 50 lbs to loose plus balancing my hormones, so it’s a challenge to start over at age 48 but I was doing it! This time I had to bring my kids with me instead of leaving them behind for my 12 and 8 year old since it was two hours of class and saw the owner have her son in the foyer before so brought them.
I was clearly busting my butt trying to get there and dragging the kids out of the car when walked in the foyer and the front desk not to be bothered, eating a popsicle. She said you can’t go in. They close the doors at minute 6 (give a 5 minute leeway) after the hour and I was a minute late at 10:06am and couldn’t get in. I explained what it’s like with kids and tried very hard to get them going, was here clearly struggling with them in the car, and pleased that I’m really trying to get into a new lifestyle again and how hard that was at my age. She didn’t blink. She said no, that’s our policy and I am not the only one. I was at the brink of tears the effort to get there. Not a warning that next time have to send away. All I wanted to do was quit. I’ve gotten this far and now, no grace. So much personal effort to put back into myself to be denied with the popsicle girl age 20 something without a heart. It’s not where I want to do business. I don’t think I fit in and have seen many 20 something’s attending and now see that they are wanting a specific crowd. No forgiveness after my begging. Just this time? No, that’s our policy. And just kept licking her popsicle never standing up from her chair behind the podium.
Does make me think they prefer control to enforce their policy rather than have community. I would have appreciated a warning and emphasis on their policy than to be cold hearted stickler. I really did my best and wasn’t good enough.
Here are my recommendations for management as a business owners that understands that you can’t make everyone happy. First, have a warning with communication in-person that next time can’t be allowed and will be not let in. Second, if they saw I had two back to back classes or another class was available, to encourage to stick around and then give back credit for the one class had to miss because of timing. Simple! It’s about effort on both parts doing our best to get to the same goal. If I was apathetic coming in fine, stick with your late policy. If not, work with your clients more. There is obvious training needs to go on here as the front desk is not trained by the owner/management to diffuse conflict, understands customer service, and yet running the show.
I have a disability and it is hard for me sometimes to move. To even get back into exercise not knowing if I can. I was hoping the reformer and moves in Pilates with added weights would help isolated areas that have atrophied or became weak compared to others when I was in a hospital bed for months. I don’t think this is the place for me. Moving on.

The studio itself is beautiful. However, the quality of the classes is disappointing. I had taken a Reformer class. The movements were quite random and didn’t flow, the springs were poorly selected, students were obviously struggling and the instructor barely made adjustments (red flag), and no footwork to start/feet in straps to end the class. Overall, it was a strange class. It felt more like Solidcore/Jetset/FIT 407 than classical Pilates.

Horrible experience - Google Maps + Apple Maps does not direct you to the correct location, so I was ten minutes late. This was my first time, and I allowed double the time, and I was 10 mins late. They wouldn’t allow me access to the class although I explained that their directions aren’t clear, so I circled the large parking lot for ten minutes. I called four plus times with no answer, yet when I walked in, the receptionist was at the desk. No where on their website did it state that late arrivals wouldn’t be accepted. It is a Pilates class. They could easily make an exception, but they chose not to. Would never recommend this place.

Before I came to this studio I tried another Pilates gym, & I dreaded it. It was very hard, fast paced and likely my fault for not researching but I knew I loved the concept of it. So I researched for days and came across this studio and so glad I did! I love it. I am currently doing classic classes and can say I am excited for each class to come. The instructors, the diversity of the people attending, the vibes. Everything. They help with modifications, the support. I love it! Def recommend if you are looking for a good studio, with inviting energy!

I’ve been a member since they opened in June 2024 and I’ve been going regularly since. I’m still actively seeing results and every class is a nice challenge no matter how many classes you take. The studio is very sleek and clean. The instructor’s are the best (I love love love Sam and Steph) but everyone is well qualified!

Best Pilates in Orlando! The instructors are amazing, great mix of classes & times to choose from. They provide community and support healthy living. I had never taken Pilates and instantly became a member because of the culture, and how fun & challenging the classes are. I’ve now completed 45 classes. So if you’re new to Pilates or experienced I highly recommend!

It was my 1st time in a Pilates class as well as this studio. I heard about this studio on Threads via Instagram. I wanted to find a studio that had a diverse mix of people and those who look like me. The instructor Luciana was pleasant and was super helpful with tips and alternative moves to help relieve pressure off my knees. I’ll def be back as I really did get a work out in and felt good afterwards.

Tried Body Bar for the 1st time today. I thought I was sooooo prepared since I’ve been a Club Pilates girlie for 3 years, I was wrong. I have never felt the burn so soon in a workout. Harriet was our instructor and she kicked our butt. I wish there was a Body Bar in the Lake Mary/Mount Dora area. I’d cancel my Cryo and CrossFit memberships immediately. The facility was clean and aesthetically pleasing.

Beautiful upscale, clean and spacious venue w/ really fun retail!!!
Took Releen's class and it really kicked my butt- it was fast paced (but not to fast). She can around and offered help, encouraged people to push themselves or back off if needed. Fun music and felt sore (in a good way) the next day. Love Bodybar!
