We love this swim school. Deborah is an awesome coach. My 15 month old has an anxiety towards strangers and didn't let any coach near him. Deborah worked her magic and she is the only coach he accepts swim lessons from. Can't believe how much progress I've made after just 4 half-hour lessons. I'm an adult who has never completed swim lessons in the past. Thanks to Coach Leyla, this is the farthest I've ever gotten with my stroke. She's loaded with suggestions and useful feedback.

This place is the best! We’ve seen our two kids improve quickly since starting up in May. We love the individual attention they get, as well as tailoring the lessons to the kid. Alicia is so easy to communicate with. She was helpful when finding times the kids could both attend, it was a huge bonus that their makeup policy is flexible. Our 2.5 year old is very nervous around new people, it takes her awhile to warm up. We liked the respectful approach they took with her. She has picked up swimming so fast! So far, my two best decisions this year were first to learn to swim and second to choose British Swimming School in North Tampa. I was initially reluctant because learning to swim as an adult could be intimidating. But they made me feel so comfortable. They were very professional and respect your time. My coach, Leila, was the best. If you are looking for a swimming school that helps both adults and kids reach their goals and shows a lot of respect while working hard with you, I strongly suggest this school. I can swim and enjoy it with just a few lessons and a lot of practice.

I don't give often give feedback, but this one deserves my comment. My girls have been in the school for about a month and I wish I could give more than 5 stars. The instructors are extremely knowledgeable, some have been teaching for many years and others have been competitive swimmers. They are kind understanding of the varying ages and skill level and they train accordingly. Their instructions are simple and clear, easy to understand and my girls who didn't know how to swim when they started are now floating on their backs and swimming. I am thoroughly impressed. They pay attention to everything. They know your child name after about a week. That goes for all of ue instructors including you he owner.
The owner is very personable and communicative. She is present, engaged and supportive of the kids. They are doing a fantastic job. I am thoroughly impressed.

My 7-year-old and 4-year-old have been taking lessons at British Swim School in Tampa Palms for over 3 months now. My kids have always been apprehensive in the water and were extremely slow-to-warm up to the swim instructors at a previous swim school where they made little to no progress. After their very first lesson at British Swim School, they became more comfortable in the pool and were both eager to return. My daughter has progressed tremendously and I feel reassured that she now has the necessary survival skills. My son, too, who had always refused to put his face underwater started doing cannon balls enthusiastically at pool parties after several short weeks of lessons. They absolutely LOVE to attend and always look forward to seeing the amazing coaches and director, who have welcomed my kids with open arms and show sincere pride in their accomplishments. It was the best decision we have made and I can’t recommend this facility enough.
