Ms. Maya is a wonderful swim instructor. She demonstrates great patience and skill when working with children. I really appreciate how she communicates clearly about what my daughter is learning and the goals for each level. My daughter truly enjoys her lessons and looks forward to them every week.

They moved my daughter "up" and now shes going backwards because the class is catering to these boys who clearly werent ready to be moved up. They never did the "torpedo" they said they would teach in this class and its been over a month. They have the kids sitting on the side of the pool the vast majority of the time. The woman in the tie dye seemed almost thrilled when i told her we were done, never asked why or tried to resolve any issues. They hardly pay attention to my daughter as you can see from the picture, probably 90% paid more attention to the boys.

We started swim classes here last year. Both my kids didn't have any prior experience. They have learned a lot here and getting comfortable with every class. Everyone is very nice and welcoming. All coaches are nice. Ms. Kelly is a great coach with her experience and she's really nice with kids. Ms. Faith is really sweet with all your admin questions and help you out in everything. Overall I highly recommend these classes for kids with all skill levels.

We absolutely love the British swim school! The instructors are incredibly friendly, attentive, and truly care about the kids. From the very first lesson, we could tell that our children were in great hands. They make learning fun while also ensuring safety is the top priority.

Thanks to their patience and expert teaching, our kids have become confident, skilled swimmers in no time. It’s amazing to see their progress! British swim school has helped my kids not only learn to swim, but give them confidence in the water. My kids started off terrified of the water, and now they’re little fishes. We’ve been members here for 5 months, the pool has been closed 3 times over those 5 months with minimal communication. They won’t let you schedule a makeup a week in advance at another location. Extremely inconsistent

We are so glad we found British Swim School at Alton! The staff members have each been amazing- all well informed, accommodating and patient! THIS is the place to send your kids for swim lessons. The teachers are incredible (specifically Patricia and Iyla) and match your kids at the level they need. They really personally invest in the success of each kid (i've seen them celebrate with each other when a kid hits a milestone). Also Kelly is so nice and leads the charge with kindness. Highly Hhghly recommend!

The British Swim School has been the best so far. Not only for children but adults as well. As an adult learning how to swim, Kelly and Faith have been amazing they’ve been very patient and efficient. It has only been 3 weeks and I’ve had drastic improvement. These ladies are absolutely phenomenal in every way. Kelly is not only warm and accommodating - but also an amazing swim coach! The front “desk” woman (redhead, long hair) is so sweet and always helps us right away— and she even assists the kids in the water if need be (we have two toddlers who swim at once so sometimes it’s crazy!) The instructors (specifically the women) are SO good with my girls - and I’ve seen huge improvements in a relatively short amount of time. Their approach is perfect for our family— they don’t push your littles too hard but also make sure they’re progressing well. Love the whole team and would highly recommend their swim squad to anyone! Bonus- You also get a discount referral !

My daughter was terrified of the water after having a bad experience with a swim instructor at a community center. I decided to try the LA fitness British swim. She cried on the way there. She cried in the car before class. She cried every class for weeks but they took their time building trust with her. Some lessons were just sitting on the edge of the pool and splashing her legs and singing and playing. Some were getting her body in the water once. They never rushed her. I watched Ms. Kelly and the staff turn her fear in to confidence. We have been going here since August 2023 and now she jumps in the water on her own no fear, floats and is learning swim strokes. She is so excited to go every week. No more tears.

My child looks forward to swim lessons every week and absolutely loves it! My child has made incredible progress since starting a little over two months ago. The instructors are very patient, kind, and positive. And we love the small class sizes-encouraging for the kids to see others doing the skills, but still small enough for each kid to get ample 1:1 time with the instructor.

We tried mommy and me and private classes before but they didn’t work for us. The group atmosphere is very encouraging to kids!

My daughter used to be scared to put her face in water but this school helped her to quickly advance thru all the levels!

My son has been going to British Swim School since summer of 2023 and he loves it! Before he started here he was scared of the pool but now he jumps in with confidence and knows how to swim on his own. We started here for basic swim lessons but we’ve stuck around because my son loves it so much! Miss Kelly is amazing with children and gives very specific cues on each stroke and that has really helped him develop. I love watching my 8 year old do the butterfly! I just wish I could do it too. :-)
