British Swim School is a great place! From the moment of enrollment, the staff has been amazing and very accommodating. Our children look forward to their swim lessons every week. As a veteran with young children I can appreciate the finesse of how the school operates from the enrollment process to having lollipops at the end of lessons for the young uns. The instructors are passionate and skilled, making the learning process engaging and fun, while also doing the little extras to make the experiences fun and memorable. For a great swim school in Jacksonville, I definitely vouch for British Swim School.

My 7yo son absolutely loves his swimming classes, it is amazing to watch him learn. The instructors he has had so far, including Ms. London and Mr. Enrique, are so patient and encouraging, making the experience fun for everyone. My 9 year old daughter absolutely loves coming here. The instructors and pool manager are very kid friendly, adult friendly and knowledgeable. They have taught my daughter so many swimming and survival skills in the water in such a short time. She was already a swimmer, but is learning long distance strokes and perfecting her skills to reach her competitive swim goals. They make the instruction easy to comprehend and follow. The price is phenomenal and although I initially thought 1/2 hour lessons were short, they do so much and are so active that whole time that much longer lessons wouldn't be feasible. I have watched lessons with babies to preteen and many with differing abilities and/or autism, and there are so many positives about each. Each instructor I've witnessed takes the time to build rapor and a relationship with each child getting to know their strengths and weaknesses to help them grow independently. The class size is so small and is a great learning environment. 1 to 4 kids max. The app is easy to use to schedule lessons and see growth and the owner is available and easy to talk to and get ahold of about payments. They accommodate families and have military and teacher discounts ..maybe first responders too..can't be 100%. Its located right inside of LA Fitness and is easy to get to, but have several locations. I highly recommend this school to help your swimmer grow. 10 stars!!!!

Our experience with British swim School at LA fitness in Orange Park Florida has been amazing for my grandchild. When he started he did not know how to swim at all and within 3 months he has been able to do many swimming techniques. I look forward to having him return to his swimming lessons in the spring of 2025. I will miss his swim School during the short break. His teachers are wonderful, courteous and knowledgeable. I can’t thank Enrique enough for the incredible impact he had on my aunt’s swimming journey. She was always afraid of the water, but with his patience and encouraging teaching style, she grew more confident each session. What truly made a difference was his ability to communicate in Spanish, which made her feel comfortable and understood. This group of instructors here is fantastic!! I can’t say enough about how helpful and focused they were from day one. Lauren made sure my granddaughter got attention and instruction according to her individual need while focusing on helping her master her technique. Enrique was fun and helped her fine tune her technique. And Jerome made sure she had a good time while reinforcing everything she learned. I’d highly recommend this location. My granddaughter has progressed so far because of all the instructors’ personal interest in her attaining her swimming goals. We look forward to returning when she’s here on winter break.

I have been attending the British Swim School (East Arlington) for approximately 7 weeks and I am very happy with my results so far. As an adult, the thought of learning to swim can be very scary. However, having Lauren as my trainer has been amazing. I went in day one with lots of doubts and anxiety but by the end of the first lesson i felt assured I would be able to swim in a few weeks. It is so important to have the right trainer. Lauren is very patient and understanding. She knows how to explain things in a way that can be followed without feeling incompetent. I would definitely recommend this swimming program to adults. At week 7, I sometimes can’t believe how comfortable I am in the water and I am actually swimming 😀. Of course I have more to learn but I am confident with practice I will soon be like a fish in water😆. Thanks for being amazing Lauren!

For years I wanted to learn to swim but never found a program that worked with my schedule. My sister and I found out about British Swim School on a google search and was very happy that they offered swim classes for adults. My first class was with Lauren. She is an instructor with the program and she was excellent. I remember leaving the class thinking, I can do this. She was very good at explaining and demonstrating each move. She made me feel safe in the water. She was encouraging but also gave good feedback on how to improve on skill though. I would recommend Lauren to anyone learning to swim for the first time. She is very patient with her clients. I am glad to have her as my instructor.

This swim school is located inside the LA fitness off Kernan & Atlantic. The staff are friendly and owners are super great!! Veteran owned, too. Our little 2 year old is learning so quickly and loving the classes so much. I love how they inform us with her progress and what goals she needs to achieve to get to the next level. Unlike the other swim school in the area, they don't inform you what needs to happen. So your child could be swimming next level but they don't communicate that. British Swim School is awesome!! Can't recommend it enough. 🥰 🏊‍♀️

I have previously attended 2 other swim schools but was not successful. When I reached out to British Swim, Andy explained the process, courses, and offerings. I was able to attend a class with other adults. I learned a lot and was finally able to swim and feel comfortable in the water! I did not want to go up to Adult 2 because I was having so much fun in Adult 1. I am taking an hiatus due to a new job but will be returning soon. The price is very reasonable, the instructors are encouraging, and the classes are fun. I highly recommend this school.

The coaches do a great job with the kids. Our son progressed in his swimming ability and, most importantly, ability to survive should he fall in the water. Classes are small and manageable with each child getting time to practice strikes while others get attention and then working together. I would recommend this to anyone wanting his/her child to learn to swim and improve skills.

My husband and I spent a significant amount of time searching for a swim lessons. It feels like this should be a simple task, but we decided a life saving skill isn’t something we should take lightly. We looked at “come to your home” services, one-on-one services, then gave up for a while. Finally, while grabbing a smoothie one day I ran across British Swim School. I checked out their website, IG page, and read the google reviews. Not only were the convenient in time and location to our home, more importantly I liked the the structuring of the program. We enrolled and are so happy we did. Our son loves going to “swim party,” as we call it. He’s made some little buddies in each of his classes, he adores his instructors, and the director/owner - Andy is beyond helpful and caring about his program and the kids. Some lessons have been solo, which is great, and most have been with 2-3 other children, where they all learn from and seemingly challenge each other. BSS has been an excellent experience for parent and child. I have recommended BSS to friends and family and highly suggest to any parent on the hunt for a program that is consistent and structured. The app has also been great in scheduling absences/make-ups, knowing my child’s skill level, understanding what’s next in the program as the child moves up, payments, class schedules, other locations. We’ve had an excellent experience with BSS! Thank you Andy & team for teaching my child a life skill, and the care and attention you have all put into the program. We will certainly miss Ms. Margaret & Mr. Jacob. You have set the standard for our expectations in the next swim school, and this only due to our cross-country move!
