Love this swimming school!!! My son took 8 private lessons this summer, he was a beginner and never really learnt swim before, 8 lessons later he learnt backstroke!!! I’m super proud of him, and really appreciate all the instructors’ effort. Highly recommended to any parents who are looking for a swimming school for kids!

I don't recommend this place. This company frequently changes instructors, cancels lessons frequently with strict makup policies, and in my personal opinion as an experienced lifeguard, does not teach young children the basics of swimming until many classes have been bought and paid for. The lack of progression is staggering and demonstrates a total failure of delivering the very product they are trying to sell.
Notes for the swim school to improve:
-have 1 or 2 designated instructors that are recurring for your classes so kids can build relationships with them.
-stop holding kids back from progressing. Kids learn different things at different rates. You can't approach small kids, let alone toddlers, with a 1 size fits all approach. It's absurd to expect kids under 5 to perform perfectly for 30 minutes and hold that as the standard to progress. Having 1 or 2 instructors helps to remedy this because the instructor learns each kid and their strengths and where growth can be pursued. If you get a new instructor each class, the new instructor won't know your kid.
-heat up the pool more, it's super cold. The kids seem uncomfortable to me.
-stop wasting time with free play when the class is only 30 minutes and you have a lot of kids to teach. As it stands, there is little time dedicated to actual instructon. The instuctor at least should be doing 1v1s each free play with some station.
-change it up! Don't do the same exact things each class. If nothing new is being taught by the 6th lesson, no growth will occur. Pick some advanced skill each class for kids to try.

This program offers inconsistent training depending on the instructor which caused my kid to regress and not all instructors are great with younger kids. They focus on survival skills without including basic swimming instruction to younger kids which is a disservice to the child. I do not recommend this company.

I highly recommend British swim school to anyone that wants to learn how to swim, young and old, experienced or beginner. To preface this- i came to the company as an absolute beginner knowing NOTHING in swimming. I couldn’t do anything. Ms. Maria taught me at my pace with structured lessons each time we met, building off from what i learned last class. I was extremely apologetic anytime i messed but i received kindness and no judgment. With every class, i learned something new and got constructive criticism to improve my form.
I am now 3 classes in and can float and my stomach and back and propel myself forward. I feel extremely comfortable in water and I can’t wait to see what i learn next. If you needed a sign to sign up your child or yourself, this is it. Take the leap to learn a critical skill and sign up today.

Our son has been enrolled for a couple months now. It's absolutely excellent. He has had two different instructors and they were both excellent. For young children, their initial focus is to keep them alive in the water. They're teaching things like how to jump into the pool, roll onto your back and float. They start with the Basics and it has been excellent.

AVOID! Do not enroll!! Impossible to cancel and waste of time.
I signed my daughter up to work on her stroke technique. She had past the YMCA swim test at age 4, 5 and 6 so she knows how to swim. The class she was in was a waste of time because no one could do the basics like my daughter so she sat the entire time on the side. Also, there were classes cancelled that were never made up but they charge you (vomit pool and instructor had emergency). Always excuses. They just want your money.

Love the instructors so patient and kind with the kids. Easy to reschedule make up days. I love the way the instructors take the time to learn the kids names and boundaries without pushing them too fast. Best swim school ever!
