So, I thought I knew how to swim, but after taking classes I understand that learning technique is really swimming. May is an amazing instructor. With her help, I push myself harder and I'm getting great results.
When I miss a class and have to do make up, I sometimes work with Carise. She gives the same focus and attention on each client's individual skills.

I just want to add that when I am waiting for my class to start, I watch May and Carise working with the children. The care, gentleness and laughter while teaching the little ones is amazing to watch. Thank you British Swim School!!

I love the fact that the classes are small. This allows each client to get one on one instruction, and the teacher can closely monitor for safety and progress. May is amazing! Day one, I made improvement. I already have some swimming skills. May helps me to tweak what I have and introduces something new. Kudos to the school. I love what Im paying for

We love these classes for our little one. The instructor is so sweet with all the children and we truly feel as though it is worth it. We started early as our little one was only 3 months when we started, and it has been great! She loves the water.

My three year olds teacher Maybeline was excellent in the swimboree class (parent and child class.) She was very patient and kind with her approach even though he was difficult during his first few classes.

The communication with the office staff was great, they worked with me to help determine what class was best for my son and helped along the way.

The facility is great with an indoor pool, meaning you can do swim lessons all year round and no interruptions due to rain or cold days.

So they got a new, barely trained “teacher”, if we can call it that, who works on Saturdays that don’t know how to work with children. Treat my 4 year old son like a Sargent does in the military, screaming at him and grabbing him strong by the belly that he even cries, like super hard. She basically don’t know how to work with small children, that obviously don’t respond to commands like soldiers. Last Saturday was our last day in this place is the second incident we experienced, a few months ago they force the kid underwater traumatizing him for 2 months , we give them another chance and now this one that thinks she on the NAVY. It’s really anointing to pay money to get your child bullied. Best of luck, swimmers.

Enrolled my daughter in swimming class, the staff and instructors are warm and friendly. Two months in and my daughter's progress is tremendous. She loves it there, never wants to leave. Instructor is sweet and patient. Clean indoor pool, quiet environment.

Karese is the best swim instructor I could’ve asked for. She is firm but kind, very patient, encouraging and extremely knowledgable. I was nervous about starting swim lessons as an adult, but Karese helped me feel comfortable and confident in the water. I can now officially call myself a swimmer!! Karese is the best swim instructor, and is second to none.Our daughter has had multiple swim instructors including private lessons but has struggled with learning to swim for a loooong time;however, it changed instantaneously within a few months of group lessons with Karese. She is now swimming on her own and my daughter adores her.I cannot recommend her enough, again she is second to none.

My son has Austim Spectrum Disorder. I could not get him to practice a sport.. In May of 2021 i discovered he liked the pool so I enrolled him for private swimming classes in June of 2021. When my son started with British Swim School he could not even go under the water because he was afraid. It is now almost 6 months since we started and he is now able to enjoy the pool. His confidence to be around the pool or water has increased, his skills with following instructions has increased. As a parent I feel more confident to have my son near water. The staff has an extreme amount of love and dedication for children with special needs. The Staff accommodates to the needs of the child and families. My son loves his instructor. Maybellin is extremely patient and has great techniques to teach children who have a hard time with fear, non-compliance, and following instructions. When we first started I could not see advancement but time has passed and we have accomplished a lot. God Bless the Staff at British Swim School"

We have been so impressed and pleased with our son’s time at British Swim School. I can’t rave about Ms. Karese more. She is firm but patient, challenging, understanding and kind. She is meticulous with her teaching. Our child is on the spectrum and Ms. Karese was able to was able to quickly understand our child and instruct him in a way that guarantees success. Each week we are amazed at the progress he makes. My husband and I are considering taking classes with her because she is so good. We also know two other families who have had her as instructors and they have nothing but good things to say.
As far as covid measures, we feel very safe in that all the instructors are vaccinated, they wear masks and we are required to wear masks as well. Temperature checks are taken and benches for seating are wiped down.

Living in South Florida water safety is very important for young children and toddlers. My son has been attending BSS for 6 months and I notice progress on a week to week basis. It’s a great activity for him and gives him a good sense of taking direction. All 3 of the instructors he’s work with so far have been so great and understanding. I would absolutely recommend to anyone looking to get their kids comfortable in the water.
