I am thrilled to share our wonderful experience with Andrew my son swimming instructor at British swim school, From the very first lesson, it was clear that he is not only highly skilled but also deeply passionate about teaching. Andrew has a remarkable ability to connect with kids, making each lesson fun and engaging.

My son Shiloh has made incredible progress under Andrew guidance. He's patient and understanding, always encouraging him to challenge himself while ensuring he feels safe and supported in the water. The techniques he uses are effective, and he provides constructive feedback that helps Shiloh improve with each session.

I also want to mention that Oriana has been a fantastic support during these lessons, creating a warm and welcoming environment. Together, they make a wonderful team!

My daughter was so scared of water touching her face i was wondering what she's going to do for swimming lesson. The team is so professional she went up so fast to Turtle 1 in less than 3 months, i was shocked. Thank you everyone, you are awesome!

Unfortunately the pool temperature was way too cold for my 3 year old. The heater wasn't working properly. LA fitness didnt seem to care nor did the swim instruction team and management care. This issue of the pool temperature is an ongoing issue. My child was shivering. BSS was not willing to put any pressure on LA Fitness to fix the heater and they refused to refund my payment that I made in advance My child is now refusng to go back and got sick from shivering.

British Swim School is fantastic. Super happy I found a great program close to home for my two boys. My 2 year old is already floating on his own after a year of class, my 8 month old is starting to close his eyes under water. It’s amazing to see how much they learn from their classes. The staff is super friendly and very flexible with many things. I would highly recommend 100%. Swimming is very important especially for our little ones and this is the place to go.

I sign up my child for trial class and was charge for a month. We came one time but charged for a whole month and they not refunding and not responding.
My child wasn't enroll in July. Plus attend only once and I cancel future classes. I been contacting asking for refund. Because we came to one trial class and was charge for whole month. I been contacting for refund or give us a month we will try again. I been ignored. Never went for 3 classes. I have a proof.

We have been to Miami Gardens location before COVID hits and we were so happy and they closed and we stopped going and this month we returned unfortunately, the first time we went the instructor had no patience and yells the whole time at my 8 years old and asked him to leave the class before the class was over and then we changed location because it was kinda far for us , we went again today for the closest location ( the one we used to go to before COVID ) and we found the same instructor again (Jesus) and we didn’t mind she had a new instructor at training he was nice and the class was going well until she asked my son to do a certain movement with his head under the water and at some point he was out of breath and she asked him are you ready and he said not yet so she kicked him out of the class again and said he doesn’t want to participate when he needed a min to breath .
So clearly if we attended twice and we got kicked out of the class twice for a lack of patience and lack of known how to deal with kids when you have no clue of a health condition or breathing issues . I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone who loves their kids and trying to do them something good to learn instead they get kicked out and yelled at .she traumatized him he left the class infront of everyone crying and saying I don’t wanna come here ever again to this class .

It's unfortunate that I had to withdraw my daughter from their program. On three separate occasions he (Jesus) has released my daughter and allowed her to sink underwater. Yes, submersion is a part of the curriculum, but I can assure you that these occurrences were not within the scope of the curriculum at which my daughter was currently being taught. I have discussed these issues with the Owner to no avail. I would not under any circumstances recommended for any parent to enroll their child in this program with this particular trainer. Spare yourself and your child the anguish.

This is the best swimming school out there, I wanted to be a police officer but I couldn’t swim at all, I couldn’t even float and that’s when I found this school and I signed up with them. IN 3 and half months I was the teacher Ms Monique taught me how to swim and not just freestyle but all the stokes. I’m not no Michael Phelps but if I fall off a boat in the ocean I’ll be able to swim back to the boat. So thank you so much Ms. Monique

I hate doing this but the disappointment was overwhelming.
My wife had planned all week around our daughters first swimming lesson and they had told her that registry was not necessary to do before the class, that it could be done same day. We arrived 5 minutes late to the class... and we were told our daughter could not assist the class, she being already in swimsuit and all hipped for her first class. Telling her she could not get in the pool or participate in her first class was heartbreaking. Nobody seemed to care, no responsible adult manager on sight to assist, plain and simple carelessness, no body cared for us and worse for our daughter.
Let us remind you that you are dealing with kids, there are circumstances around them and everything related to them need to have contingency planning. If you have a business that deals with kids, you should have the tact to deal with different situations. If not, then seek other work. Seeing my wife and daughter disappointed because of this was enough to not want to know about British Swim School. Will definitely look for different options or even private lessons.

I would not recommend this school. They insist kids wear a swim cap. Our kid didn't like wearing one and guess what, he hated swim lessons. The kid would be in tears about wearing one and the instructor would not let him have his lesson without it. What a stupid rule. We took our business elsewhere. He's swimming like a champ - without a cap.
