We are the best gym in St. Pete! We have amazing personal trainers and group fitness instructors. We have a variety of classes and also offer small group classes, a spin on personal training. Come see us for indoor cycling, HIIT and Strength Classes. Bootcamps are also a really fun way to get fit and have a blast doing it. Top Notch Training for Those Concerned About Their Safety.
Despite the facility being about an hour away I registered for the BYOB - Be Your Own Bodyguard seminar. It was well worth the drive. The instructor and instruction was superb. Excellent advice and training.
Another person in the seminar also had over 40 years of martial arts experience and we both agreed how valuable the seminar was.
Whether you’re a beginner or have several black belts, this seminar is an investment almost everyone should make.

I came to Burg Fitness today for the Boys & Bars class, held by DJ.
I’d seen the class being promoted on social media and wanted to check it out.
For the past few months, I’ve embarked on a personal fitness journey. This is the first class I’ve taken in over 4 years. And I must say that DJ (Dan) definitely knows how to get your blood pumping!
The gym was very clean and organized which was something I noticed immediately.
DJ provided exceptional coaching, ensuring I had a superior exercise experience. This class made me realize I wasn't challenging myself enough during my solo workouts. I will definitely return to Burg Fitness.

Coach Jared was amazing! I went for a 45min HIIT class which was nice because I have some injuries I’m recovering from so I was able to move at my own pace with modifications. The flow of the class was great and the energy was great, I got an amazing workout! Would defo recommend and go back for another class 😁

I absolutely love Burg fitness. It feels like family here. All the coaches are awesome!!! I’ve always been shy of the weight room at the gym (mainly because I didn’t know how to lift without hurting myself), but I am learning at the Burg. I really appreciate their attentiveness and correcting my posture when needed. The exercises in each class always vary, so it doesn’t get repetitive and boring. Lastly , you attract what you put out, so the people that come and work out here are also very friendly and supportive of each other. It’s a nice little community! ❤️

I had never done any kind of exercise before (besides walking) so I decided to try the semi private strength training class and I love it! I can’t say enough good things about this gym. The workouts are tough but fun, and the coaches are great. There’s a welcoming vibe here that you just don’t see at some of the other spots around town. Dan and Vicki really know their stuff and put a lot of thought into their workouts. They’re also great about pushing you, but in a way where you feel supported and not intimidated. Great place for all levels of fitness. I’m so happy I found them.:)

I love this gym. Great trainers! Dan is very thorough and makes sure you have the correct form. The group classes are intimate and you get a lot of one-on-one interaction. There is a good variety of classes and I love that they do weight lifting rather than just HIIT or cardio based so there is something for everyone!

What makes Burg Fitness are the coaches’ personalities. Mike comes across as if we’re just going to have a good time but then you realize what a great workout you just had. Dan really knows how to push to get that extra bit out of and you can tell he truly cares. Vicky the owner lets you know that you’ll be working out hard and she never lets up but when her class is over you realize how much you loved it. If you want to transform your body and spirit this is the place to be. You’ll work out harder than you imagined but you’ll see and feel the results in your everyday activities and life.

UPDATE: Unsurprisingly, Burg has done everything they possibly can to serve their members and the community while following CDC guidelines and while being shut down- they stream live daily classes, offer one on one outdoor personal training, rent out bikes and other equipment, check in on members frequently, post video workouts for those who can't make live sessions and share inspirational messages to help us stay physically and mentally healthy through this time.
I can not say enough good things about this gym. I would give it 10/5 stars if I could. Where do I start? The owners (Dan and Vicki) are absolutely wonderful- they not only make a point to foster a community among their members/anyone who comes to their classes, but they also make a point to use their gym to better the larger community with charity triathlons/workouts that benefit local causes. They are also both fantastic trainers, along with every other trainer I have done classes with there! They have a wide variety of classes that are all challenging and fun- kickboxing, HIIT/circuit training, bootcamp, cycling, weight training, etc. and I believe offer personal training as well. This is one of the first gyms I tried with class pass when I moved to St Pete and I'm so glad. When I come here I know I'm going to get a killer workout, have fun and make friends.

I recently moved to the St. Pete area in December of last year and I was desperately looking for a new gym. I knew I wanted to go to a gym that offered classes and give me more one on one attention. I found Burg Fitness on classpass and immediately fell in love. The trainers were knowledgeable, fit, experienced, and friendly. Right away I knew this would be my home gym. They offer various classes which is another thing I love! Cycling, kickboxing, HIIT, etc. Before starting at this gym, I was not a big fan of working out. Now, it’s what I look forward to throughout my day and I can honestly say it’s because of Burg Fitness. This gym is hands down one of the best decisions I’ve made since moving here.

For anyone looking to exercise and get healthy in a fun, safe way- this is it. My husband and I moved here 3 years ago and came upon Burg’s Groupon deal. We were going to try a few different gyms before committing to anything but after our week was over we never bothered looking for another gym! They have plenty of classes yo keep you interested- I really like cycling, my husband really likes strength, we both like kickboxing together. All of the instructors are wonderful and take the time to know you personally. If you’re looking for a gym that will provide a challenge and genuinely care about you as a person- this is where you should be.

Burg Fitness is hands down the best place in St Pete to get your fit on. Owners Dan and Vicky are so smart, and care so much - they're cultivating a true "fit fam". I've tried almost every class style (OrangeTheory, Soul Cycle, Camp Gladiator), and Burg Fitness surpasses them all. More affordable and more well-rounded than OrangeTheory, better music than SoulCycle, better form guidance and ability to tailor to skill level than Camp Gladiator. AND bonus, the members are equally amazing. I took classes for more than three months, and then moved to the Sarasota area - and that day was very sad indeed mostly because I lost Burg Fitness! Burg made a real difference in my overall fitness level, and I'll never forget the relationships and skills I fostered there. Thanks Dan and Vicky, and if you're in the DTSP area, definitely hit up Burg!

I joined Burg Fitness in January and instantly fell in love. The gym is a family and the Coaches are one of a kind. They're knowledgeable and inspiring. One thing I love is that they provide the workout and then show options for scaling things for injuries and abilities. The best part about Vicki and Dan is that they push me beyond what I think my limits are. Coach Dan and I have Crossfit in common so we hit it off well in his Kickboxing class and Vicki's TRX and Strength class are just what I need.
Saturday's are the hardest workouts and the best--I always leave ready for the weekend. They're supportive with personal goals and keep me honest with what I say I want for myself. I would recommend Burg Fitness to anyone--advanced athletes and also beginners. Burg is definitely everyone's type of gym!

Great little gym...awesome classes with Vicki! Classes are tough, but fun and very inspirational! It's nice to work hard, sweat and laugh with other folks seeking the perfect place to train. I am adding this gym to my spin classes, for sure!

This is a great studio my husband and I have been going to now for a couple months. The owners are very nice and the studio is versatile; they offer a variety of classes but my favorite is Dan's kickboxing class. It is a perfect combo between strength building, core strengthening, and cardio + your brain stays busy learning the kickboxing technique. I am addicted.

Burg Fitness is owned by 2 people dedicated to helping you achieve your highest level of fitness. Vicki and Dan's knowledge of how to train different age groups and body types ensures that the results you achieve are real. Vicki kicks my fitness level up to a very high level through many types of exercises. I gave a gift certificate of training sessions to my boyfriend, and he is now also at a much higher fitness level than he has been in since college, and a steady client. Exercise boredom has always been a problem for me, but Vicki keeps me on my toes, sometimes literally, by coming up with new and innovative ways to achieve results: TRX, HIIT, and the rest of the alphabet of exercise. The classes that she and Dan give are fun and yet test you to your limits. Thanks for our great health guys!
