Casita Yoga Studio is such a gem! The space is beautiful, peaceful, and welcoming, making it so easy to unwind the moment you walk in. Katie, the owner and teacher, brings such warmth and care to every class. Her teaching style is clear, grounded, and encouraging, whether you’re new to yoga or have been practicing for years. You can really feel the love and intention she’s put into creating this space and community. Highly recommend!

I used to go to this studio and I always felt such good energy there... one of my favorite memories from my time in Jacksonville. “Find home within” becomes easier when you find such a warm, welcoming place. Every time I went, it gave me that feeling, and I felt "in casa" there. I haven’t found another studio like it since.

I’ve been practicing at this studio for a little more than a month, and am so glad I have! It is located conveniently on Edgewood and the offerings are exactly what I’m looking for: a grounded, balanced, and meaningful practice. The teachers are excellent, each with their own creative approach to the practice. Highly recommend for any yogis in Murray Hill and beyond!

My favorite yoga studio, I’m so grateful Casita exists. Woman owned, accommodating for every body, online booking, amazing teachers and students. The culture of Casita is so welcoming and warm. I have been a member for 5 years and have enjoyed every class and workshop I’ve attended.

Such a lovely studio! I wasn't able to make a class I booked and the owner gave me a credit so I could go to another class when I was available. So sweet and the class was great too!

I’ve been going to Casita since moving to Jax, 5 years ago. Just like the name of the studio, this space makes me feel at home. Katie has such a serene and calming presence. Every instructor that I have encountered has done amazing classes. Casita is definitely a place for everyone looking to practice yoga, whether you are a beginner or an experienced practitioner.

Introduced my mom to chair yoga here and it was everything you’d want your 70+ year old mom to have for her first yoga studio experience. Welcoming, cute studio; calming environment that feels safe for any skill/experience level.

Casita offers cozy, encouraging, gentle yoga. Getting my body warm, limber, and relaxed here is always a good, good feeling that shifts my relationship with my body and emotions for the better. I only wish there were even more class times offered so I could start every day with guided practice.

I am so glad I found Casita. Such a welcoming place. We have such fun chats and laugh before practice. Everyone is comfortable so those days when you take child’s pose or forget your left from your right, you know it’s all good!

I’ve been practicing yoga on and off for over a decade, at structured studios, community gatherings, friends’ houses and by myself. Casita is by far my favorite place I’ve ever practiced yoga and I don’t see myself changing places now that I’ve found them. Their name is apt as it truly does feel like home. 💗
I started out with the 4-class/month pass and quickly upgraded to unlimited so I could go more often. The pricing is so reasonable, and as a Murray Hill resident it’s so close to my house and so convenient.
Katie is the owner, and instructor of most classes and she is the best instructor I’ve ever had; kind, gracious, welcoming, and with a sense of humor that makes classes feel inviting and lighthearted. You can tell she cares so much about the practice and her students, and takes the time to impart knowledge and share any needed tweaks/modifications. I always feel better after classes there and highly recommend Casita to anyone looking for a new studio!

My friend invited me and my other friend to do Yoga. To be honest I don't know what to expect, I tried Yoga years ago when we were still living in Virginia. I am glad I listened to my friend and attended the 9am slow flow yoga this past Saturday with instructor Katie. Katie is just a very calm demeanor that makes you really relax while you do your yoga. from my past experience, not here I was bored because it is a slower pace but after our Yoga class, I felt amazing! Katie was so good instructing us on how to do the pose, no pressure was felt it was just a very relaxing moment. Since this is yoga I wasn't expecting that my body will not hurt the next day but ohhh the next day I felt it! and I love it! all the positions and the stretching that we did was felt the next day lol. I have no complaints though, I know my body needs it since i run too and don't do stretching.
I highly recommend Casita Yoga Studio for your yoga needs. Katie is amazing!

This studio is walking distance from my house which allows for last minute decisions to attend classes! Perfect for me.
Casita is the ideal sweet, small, welcoming neighborhood yoga studio and Katie makes it very accessible to all levels. You can feel the pure and nonjudgemental intention/energy behind her teaching which I have noticed and appreciated since starting at Casita!

Casita truly is a little home, full of warmth and humor, and a beloved neighbor in the Murray Hill community. All the instructors make classes approachable and inclusive, and I am forever indebted to Katie especially for helping me get over my tight-hammy insecurities (it's not just my personality that's high-strung) and for teaching me to be gentle (well, gentlER) with myself. I love this place and you will, too!

i tried the new student special at casita in december and haven’t stopped going since. as a murray hill local, the convenience is great, but most of all i feel SO comfortable and at home at casita. after practicing at home for several years i was nervous to go to a studio - katie made me feel so welcome and held space to listen to our individual needs before each class. slow flow, hatha, and movement and meditation are my go tos! sometimes the chit chat with fellow students before class is the most fun! the studio itself is clean, calming, and i love the high quality yoga blankets, bolsters, and blocks. thanks to casita i not only deepened my practice but made friends in my community which is PRICELESS. cannot recommend casita enough!!

The best place I have ever done yoga in over a decade of practicing. Somehow, the space and classes are always what I need. Casita has improved my relationship with my body and my mental health, and I would without hesitation recommend that anyone thinking about trying yoga for the first time or trying Casita as a new studio check it out!

10/10 my favorite studio ever. Casita feels like home...only better? I slip out of the chaos of daily life when I step through the sunny yellow door and into a practice that feels accessible and welcoming to all bodies. Katie and all of the teachers are patient, kind and welcoming and I practically float out at the end of each class. It's highly addictive!

LOVE Cassita Yoga and Katie. I always struggled with yoga, but this is exactly my speed. Chill, small neighborhood vibe with challenging yoga to meet various levels (instructor takes care to provide various modified versions and gently makes suggestions). Going here is my “happy me moments” of the week and I can’t imagine going anywhere else. ❤️

Wow. I ended up at the right place at the right time this evening. I attended my first class at Casita and it happened to be a winter solstice celebration. I just moved to Jacksonville and haven’t been to an in-person yoga class in over two years. It took a lot of courage to show up to a yoga class since the pandemic/ recently becoming a mom, but I’m so happy I found this place.
In the past I’ve felt out of place at yoga studios and preferred a home practice because of this. Casita feels like a place for everyone. I didn’t feel like I needed to dress a certain way or fit into uncomfortable shapes. The instructor gave so many gentle options to ensure comfort and had a clear, intent message throughout the class. Such a cozy, inviting and healing first yoga class. Thrilled I went!

I have been going to Casita for a few years now. The studio is a breath of fresh air in the Murray Hill area of Jacksonville. The teachers are knowledgeable. They play close attention to form and the small movements you make. They have many affordable class style options. I prefer the slow flow classes but they have classes that move with faster flows as well. Katie has been patient and very encouraging thru the process. Highly recommend.

Casita is such a loving and peaceful place, a true gem in Murray Hill. I joined Casita about 4 months ago and it has been such a place of joy and healing in my life. I love the sense of community and belonging I feel there, it really does feel like a safe and cozy home. Katie is an intuitive and gifted teacher. She is always checking in, suggesting modified poses to support our individual needs, and really guides us to embrace and celebrate our bodies! I feel such a heart centered shift in my life, the consistent practice leaves the doors of Casita and walks with me each day. A place of refuge for my body, mind, and spirit! I cannot sing a high enough praise for Casita come and ~feel~ it.

Casita is a fantastic yoga studio located right in the heart in Murray Hill which caters to students of all levels. If you live in this neighborhood you really can’t beat this little studio when it comes to the sense of community it brings to the table and I really think that this place is one of the many reasons Murray Hill has a beautiful small-town feel. Katie, the owner, makes a sincere effort to get to know the students who attend classes there. The studio is also a lovely, clean, meditative space filled with plants and an adorable tiny boutique space with studio merch and other offerings.
During the pandemic this year the studio has really adapted and currently offers Zoom-based yoga classes as well as in-person classes with markings on the floor to place your mat and ensure social distancing and mask-wearing until class begins.
It should be mentioned that Katie is also excellent when it comes to Thai yoga massage and there is no better way to treat yourself. But, in lieu of that, the Yoga for Relaxation class is one of the best ways to de-stress and relax.

Casita is THE go-to studio in Jacksonville if you’re looking for a visually appealing, calm, and welcoming space to find your balance. The instructors are caring, engaged, skilled and lead a beautiful practice. They offer a variety of classes for all skill levels and take the time to make everyone feel comfortable in their own yoga journey. I’ve been practicing with Katie and Meli for a few years, and look forward to their delightful presence in my personal practice every week.

Casita feels like HOME. It’s what I’ve been looking for in a yoga studio for years. They place emphasis on going inward and listening to your body, not just the teacher. Both Katie and Melissa are the best yoga teachers I’ve come across in a long time. I’m so thankful for the refuge from life that casita provides ♥️

Casita is truly a home away from home. I've practiced yoga at multiple studios across Jax, Gainesville, and Palm Beach since I first tried it fifteen years ago, and Casita is unlike any other. It feels warm and welcoming from the moment I enter, and Katie is patient and nurturing in her teaching. She models and explains poses with clarity and always offers modifications based on both common needs/patterns and specific student needs (e.g. someone with an achy hip gets individualized support to find a therapeutic modification). Katie's awareness is exceptional, as she notices and acknowledges students' needs and cues even in fuller classes, and she responds with support, affirmation, and encouragement. Even the gentle classes include challenging moves, which make it fun and provide students the opportunity to embrace their inner and physical strength. Katie never uses explicit or coded language about size or weight loss, which means a lot to me as an ED survivor who isn't practicing with an intention or goal of weight loss. I leave every class feeling strong, centered, and cared for.

It was only a matter of time before Katie got her own studio going. Nothing is worse than going for a massage and leaving feeling disappointed— in five years she has never disappointed!! Ever wondered why they call it massage therapy? Katie is why— with her it’s not just a massage, her work and energy feels healing. Do the yoga studio but don’t miss the massage! Thai or table, she is amazing at both.

We attended Katie’s slow flow class and it was a wonderful experience. The studio is both inviting and calm, with live plants in the window which add to the charm of the neighborhood. Katie’s technique and skill as an instructor opened space to focus on the “why” of yoga, allowing for playful energy and intention in our postures. We were in from out of town and she was happy to accommodate us with mats, blocks, blankets, water and eco-friendly cleaner. The final meditation was the perfect ending to the experience, we left both relaxed and revived!

You just don't get the kind of experience at other places that you do at Casita: Unique and thoughtful variations on poses, a pleasantly curated space and –if you score Katie (owner) as your instructor– traditional sounds of live harmonium and song to lull you deep into relaxation at the end of class. If you're a beginner, prepare to be spoiled; if you're experienced, prepare to be pleased!

For my first time back into yoga after several months I really appreciated that the instructor, Katie, took her time to read the needs of the group as well as each individual. I left feeling so full of love and gratitude as if I had been given a gift and felt like going out and sharing it. I look forward to building up my practice again at this lovely studio.

Went back to yoga after a 5-yr absence. Casita Yoga is an awesome place. Whether you’re looking for a session of deep stretches, or a dialed back chill version of Vinyasa, or straight up Vinyasa...this is the place. Really glad I went. And Katie is a singer/song writer/musician...so it adds some cool elements to Shavasana 🤙🏼Glad to call this my Yoga Home 😊
