The owner Nicolle is extremely unprofessional, which says a lot about her character. As a parent trusting someone with your kids, character is hugely important for anyone influencing your child.
I was a professional dancer who danced in Los Angeles, dance Balanchine method ballet, danced for the NBA, owned a dance studio prior to becoming a lawyer. I trained dancers who later became represented by Block agency in LA and who went on to become huge in the industry.
I tried this studio because now much later in life, I am a mother of 4 children and could not afford to drive long distances to studios and this studio is as close by.
Having already spent countless money with my first born in dance, only to have her work on her masters in psychology, I realized the bigger picture with extra curricular activities. Because you want to allow your child to choose their path in life, regardless of what you might want for them.
So dance became about giving my child self esteem. So despite my knowledge of technique, I was willing to bring my child to a studio whom I did not consider a high caliber for the true professional dance world when I enrolled her at central Florida dance.
However, there were 3 times, my young 4-5 year old child was either released from class 30-min early to sit in the waiting room before I arrived to pick her up or not taken to the class I paid money for her to attend while she sat behind the front desk, after I dropped her off confirming staff would make sure she was taken to her class, that was down a hall parents could not access.
As a lawyer, I expressed my concerns for the lack of supervision of young children and the possible issues that could arise if a child is released from class without confirmation their parent is there to pick them up, etc.
However, rather then accepting responsibility that central Florida dance failed to properly supervise my child during class time or secure my child was actually taking the class I paid for, Nicole called me up and kicked me out for questioning this.
Someone who is unable to see their wrongs, is someone I do not want influencing my child. Clearly, the studio was wrong. Yet, they could not admit it and blamed me for enrolling my child in a class that ended at 7pm, when it was the studio to told me to register for that class, which I had in an email.
Either way, parents, take it from me who already spent thousands of dollars in my oldest daughter’s training, everything in life comes down to character and blamelessness. What good is watching your child on stage, as your in awe, if the people training her and influencing her are showing bad character. Next, it will be you this studio owner will manipulate your child into finding fault against. It’s not worth investing any money with people who will kick you out of a studio for simply expressing safety concerns for a child

Overall, NOT a fan of this studio, at all. If you like your three/four year old to just jump up and down all class, then great, this is for you. We stuck it through the entire fall season, but I wish we left. They don’t prioritize the recreational dancers at all over their comp kids. Nothing against the comp dancers, but when you pay for a teacher to teach, you don’t get 1) an adult teacher & 2) in a month, you only see the assigned teacher once or twice because they too are dancing in comp. I don’t blame the student teachers at all, they are most likely doing this as a high school job and they do very well and are patient with 3/4 year olds. I just am not a fan of the management and when I would inquire in January about recital, they would brush it off. You could tell they didn’t like some parents were super involved and wanted to know everything going on and they hadn’t even had a venue for recital booked till the last minute in March. The staff would say it’s at one location ends up being 30 minutes away… not fun. Don’t even get me started on the actual performance; no practice of dance till March and again, some weeks it wasn’t done because the teacher was out in comp.
I understand they are 3, but they focus a lot on comp which I wish I knew about in advance. How can my child learn anything about dance if all they are doing is jumping around in class and jumping over a cone all the time only. Definitely did my research this season and know of a new studio to go to where there are actual adults teaching.

I took my daughter here which was her first experience with dance and the staff was very rude and not helpful at all. Made my daughter feel unwanted and the girl at the front desk was rude and had my daughter sitting at the front for about 15 minutes so my daughter was late for her class. Took my daughter to footwork’s dance and the staff was so warm and welcoming.

Our experience has been exceptional so far. Our daughter started with the Twirl classes in the Fall of 2020, and fell in love immediately. After the recital in May 2021 she was begging for more as she was so inspired. This past Fall 2021 she joined the Company as a member of the Performance Team. The atmosphere is wonderful, and everyone is always so positive, friendly, and quick to answer any questions. It's very team oriented. The coaches and student teachers are so good with the kids. The growth we have seen in our daughter who just turned 5 in such a short amount of time, speaks volumes for how well CFDC runs its company. You will not be disappointed.

My daughter’s instructor was great, but we were CONSTANTLY dealing with not being informed about cancelled sessions, when events would be, having costume orders messed up, and when the “virtual recital” video came out it had almost a minute straight of one particular child, while others including mine had less than ten seconds of time on screen. Extremely disappointed with our experience here, and still receiving spam emails from them.
EDIT: the lack of awareness of issues while we patronized this establishment only further my conclusion they do not treat their members with due respect. If soliciting further membership after I’ve asked to stop receiving emails from an establishment qualifies as checking in then I’m not interested in being check in on either.
For clarities sake, as I stated before, the high school aged instructor of my daughter’s class was very sweet, and my daughter absolutely enjoyed being in a class with her, but I was and am very disappointed with my experience with this studio as a business.

If you are looking for a studio that encourages and embraces your dancer, this is it! We joined CFDC three seasons ago and the changes I have seen in my daughter have been well worth it. It is a positive environment for dancers to develop and grow. From the best of the best teachers and choreographers, to some of the most beautiful dancers, to the light and fun atmosphere and the amazing friendships made...this is more than a dance studio - it's family!

Great dance studio. They make you feel like family. Very talented and creative dance teachers and staff. My nephew, niece, and son danced there and always loved the professionalism. I’m glad I chose them for my youngest daughter and very happy to be in the CFDC dance family.

CFDC has surpassed all of my expectations and beyond. My family has moved around quite a bit due to work. I try my best to smoothen the transitions for my kids from one country/city to the next by finding schools with not only the highest quality of instructions, but also ones which foster the development of good character and strong community. I researched and made sure I was able to find exactly what I needed and am used to providing for my kids prior to our acceptance in relocating to Orlando. The team of teachers at CFDC have been amazing from my initial phone contact with them to the daily details for the planning of classes, private lessons, techniques, values, atmosphere in studio/at competition/convention, staffing, artistry, and much more. Words cannot properly express what it is like for my daughter to be in this Dance Family! She has the most dedicated, caring, and skilled teachers who let her know, every time they see her, that there aren't any goals too high for her to achieve and they proceed to show her the way. They recognize each student's strengths and areas of need, and utilize that to the development of their program and dances. Furthermore, the older students at CFDC are inspirations to my daughter. They encourage and volunteer to work with her as well as other younger dancers similar to an apprentice program. My daughter learns from them the fact that she, too, may also give back in the same way. She truly looks up to these 'older sisters' and is so grateful for their support! My daughter has grown so much as a dancer in the short time we've been with the studio this year. CFDC has made every moment of her first comp season magical. She loves the whole process, along with the social/emotional growth. The confidence, skills, and family CFDC has given her is absolutely priceless! She has found her home.

We have been at CFDC for four years now and it has been a wonderful experience. My girls both started Performance Team this year and I have seen so much growth in them as dancers. Lindsey and Nicole have fostered a climate in the studio that is filled with positivity and a true sense of community.

Do NOT take your young child to this studio, they will not learn to LOVE dance. Instructor yelled at girls like some drill sergeant, refusing to put the AC on until girls got their dance right. Might work for season competitors over age 14, but young 8-10 year olds? Since we competed at another studio, I thought I knew what to expect. I only switched to CFDC for better location and pricing. Big Mistake! I realized that Nicole (the "owner" by way of daddy's money) doesn't think of you as a customer...you are paying to have the privilege to dance for CFDC. They never spoke to parents & were so unapproachable and unfriendly. Business only via flyers and private facebook page. My husband even spent time helping build their sets. At the competition, they were not involved, no pep talks, and barely watched the actual competitions. Nicole texted me after the first competition to not come back. No reason was given. She refused to meet with me & my husband. How do you explain to a young impressionable girl that she can't compete or dance the rest of the season. Not like I could move to another studio mid-season. They are NOT professionals. They are just spoiled brats taking your money to strategically enter local dance competitions show the trophies make you think they are good. I should have never left the other studio who beat them every time they met at competition.

My daughter has been dancing at CFDC for over 6 years and she loves it; it is more than just a place to learn how to dance. While they do learn the proper dance and technique (a huge range of classes are offered) and how to train in a safe manner under the guidance of their amazing staff, the kids also gain so much other knowledge. They learn about being a part of a team, time-management, self-esteem, proper nutrition, creativity, overcoming fears, discipline, dedication, stress management, positive attitude.. and more. This is a great place for dancers to learn, grow, and create wonderful friendships.

It's a blessing to be affiliated with CFDC. The instructors are top notch and well trained...they understand the importance of giving effective dance training, as well as incorporating conditioning, strengthening, Pilates, Yoga, etc. CFDC goes above and beyond for the kids...it's not just about competition and trophies...they really care about their students and dance families.

Positive, encouraging, challenging and character building dance school. The instructors make sure each student feels welcome and a part of the team. The way the instructors behave towards the students directly impacts how the students interact with each other. They are actually nice to each other here! Imagine that, a studio that cares about everyone! New students and families are welcomed with open arms and a kind smile. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a great place for their child to dance. Homeschool has been a great experience for my daughter as well here at CFDC. We highly recommend it.

This is by far the best dance studio in the Central Florida region. It offers classes from beginners to advanced dancers. Not only do they teach dance the right way and focus on technique, they teach the kids how to be a well rounded person and dancers. They create a positive environment and truly do care about each student. I highly recommend this dance studio.

Hands down the best dance studio in the Central Florida area. Been to a couple other studios and they don't even compare to CFDC! From my experience anyone who has had a problem at CFDC was wanting something special just for their child or couldn't handle being told their child was a trouble maker! The staff at CFDC truly believes every dancer is important and does not play favorites like other near by studios!

I danced here since 2011 all the way up until I graduated and loved every minute of it. Nicole and Lindsey have never given up on me and always pushed me harder. They are very mindful of the development of their dancers in positive ways. CFDC is always looking for new ways to keep their students motivated while giving them access to the latest techniques and styles. I highly recommend to anyone wanting to take their first dance class or for the more serious dancer wanting to continue their dance training.

Oh my goodness, the audacity of the owner Nicole embarassing herself and showed no class whatsoever, she was wearing ruggedy clothes and did not introduce herself to the parents. She blurted her mouth with no account for shame she thought she embarrased me but actually she was the one who showed to be more ghetto. I don't know how parents would want to be in her class. She herself does not uphold esteem about her looks, her speech and her attitude. She was very unprofessional, unpleasant, and with bad breath. She hires unknown teachers they maybe criminals and parents will not know it. Parents are blind and just trust her choice of teacher. She claimed that they were on MTV and famous if they were they will not be teaching 7 to 10 year old kids for pennies when they can make more money doing MTV. So right there was a lie. The first hip hop teacher was very nice and he's no longer there I wonder why..... here's your sign.....
What else do you think this place is hiding? This place is an embarrassment. I would not recommend this place. I tried to talk to Nicole privately but she'd rather show her true self to the whole class and parents that she trully has no class. I asked for my refund but she will not give it to me. Of course, i will pursue this in legal matter. By the way, Bathrooms are unsanitary. Water fountain never been cleaned it taste like rust.

Very unprofessional, disorganized and unwelcoming in my opinion.
My impression is that newcomers are not needed nor wanted they have there team of dancers and are on the verge of going to a private dance studio.
My daughter was in gymnastics for a few years and decided she wanted to try dance. We found a studio that offered hip hop that sounded up beat and exactly what she was looking for. After a couple classes she got 2 of her friends to sign up. Unfortunately, those friends are not there because after a class or two hip hop was abruptly cancelled.
The new class at our scheduled time would be ball room. My daughter not as enthusiastic gave it a month and decided she loved it and wanted to take protique (another class they offer).
During our process of settling into this new studio it became apparent there were at least 2 classes of people attending this studio
Those that have been attending and the new comers. As I sat in the waiting area to watch my daughter and read a book I heard the other parents and receptionist speak of a private FB account at which the receptionist was not happy about a recent post. Other parents approached the desk to give advice in a more concealed tone seemingly more aware of my presence.
My final straw: Unannounced to me the class had been changed back to hip hop and cancelled due to the new hip hop teacher missing his flight. I expressed that an email or some type of communication would have been nice and all I got was a sigh. What a complete disregard for a customer-very disappointing.

Meh. I know my kid is only 3 1/2 but they could have at least tried to teach her the 5 positions in ballet. Not let them color and put on costumes. Never once did I see them attempt to really teach them something. Teacher would not instruct. Everything was across the floors. A lot of standing around.
