Cheer express honestly was one of the worst experiences my daughter has ever been through in the cheer world. She was really excited to go into cheer because she has never done it before and it was a dream come true for her. Sadly, the staff and her teammates were very rude to her. They asked the team one time to go around and say who they thought needed the most work, and all of a sudden a girl on her team pointed my daughter out saying that she was the most rude one. My daughter only made 3 friends on that team.. so it really confused her why the girls were attacking her, then they forced her to say sorry to the whole team as she was bawling her eyes out. She came home crying asking why the team thought of her like that when she was new and barely talked to half of them team because they would exclude her out. The teammates that have been on the team in past seasons were mean and didn't talk to any of the new girls, except for some who they thought were good enough. The gym did push them to try their hardest which is the only thing I liked. Don't send your daughter here if they don't "meet the standards" for the girls in this gym because they will be excluded out from everything.

I will be going in more soon to give more details, but I at least wanted to get something on here. I am going to be in litigation with this cheer studio over what they allowed to happen to my daughter. They create an environment of excluding girls from activities that they think aren’t good enough or rich enough. My daughter was bullied into an injury….and she was hurt by the daughter of the team mom….the same team mom cheer express supported when she had a Barbie party and invited half the girls on the team and left the other half off. ….including my daughter. The same mom who put to me in writing that she would make sure my daughter was excluded from everything in the future. I offered to show all the screenshots to the ownership, who refused to even look at them…so it’s no surprise the daughter started injuring and bullying my daughter. This place is very supportive of the team moms…they have no idea what it means to be inclusive…so the owners FULLY support this behavior!!!My daughter had serious injuries and since this is going to court…I can’t share them here…but I may share the video of my daughter in a breakdown from the bullying and dropping on purpose. I am going to create another review of the text communication between myself and the team mom who had my daughter excluded on purpose….this was you can see for yourself. I’ll put another review up for that. And if you quit early, all the stuff you purchased/bought is stolen…never given back. Honestly, it’s just this place…we came from top dog and had nothing but positive experiences, no bullying, no uppity and snobby parents…it was all positive at top dog and they won all the time too!!! If you care about your child and their mental health….DO NOT SEND THEM HERE!. THEY keep flagging it to hide it….but I’ll spend all day putting it up over and over.

My daughter is going on her fourth-year cheering with Cheer Express. I can't say enough amazing things about this gym. I have never felt so much love and caring from the coaches and office ladies then I do at this gym. Recently my daughter had some struggling with some of her tumbling skills and I can't express the amount of support she got not just from the coaches but coach Kim. Hello! I am currently an athlete at cheer express and this gym has truly made cheering so much more fun and it has taught me so many things both in and out of cheerleading! The coaches are extremely supportive of every one of the athletes and everyone is so welcoming, I have made so many new friends and improved so many of my skills and technique with my tumbling and stunting. Our gym owner and coaches have taught me so much and that taking your time with learning is okay and you do not need to rush to succeed. Their ways of coaching have helped me grow as a person because I can now acknowledge my mistakes and grow from them and not be angry or sad about it, it has helped me to not be ashamed about not knowing something and that it is okay to ask questions because they are always there for support because all they want is to see their athletes grow and succeed. Cheer Express is the best allstar gym you could possibly ask for. They strive for perfection, not only on the stage, but in sportsmanship and in leadership. Not only have I learned how to be a cheerleader, I’ve learned how to be a much better person through this program. I’ve been a double teamer here for three years now. Their level 3 senior coed team is extremely rude. My daughters team went against them this weekend at All Out Grand Nationals and my daughters team wished them good luck. Our team did not hit zero but, their athletes on the other team recorded our routine and then proceeded to walk around the convention center and asked other athletes what they thought of our routine. I find that they lack respect and upset many of our athletes. Our athletes even stood up and clapped for them when they were announced first. Disgusting.

We love this gym this we are going into our 2nd season we were not sure what to expect when we switched gyms because we have always heard a lot of things wich we’re not true at all .. we were at our old gym for 4 years let me just say this has been the best experience my daughter has had she has grown a lot they have thought her the right and proper way ,she’s able to be herself and not worry about anyone making fun of her she’s made amazing friends all the girls parents and staff are amazing .she loves all the coaches, staff and owner .

When staff and coaches are as amazing as they are at Cheer Express, I will gladly take the time to give them a great review. After my daughter broke her wrist she was going through a tumbling mental block, her tumbling coach moved out of state during her injury and I didn’t know where to turn. I called and spoke with Nicole and she took the time to listen to our story and responded giving her the best coach to match her needs. She was a delight to speak to and she made me feel hopeful we would find what she needed here. Fast forward to her recommendation of Coach David who is everything my daughter needed. He is patient and kind and really makes her feel like she has someone who not only cares but he has instilled confidence back in her in just a few short months. We just finished our first season at Cheer Express and I could not be happier with our experience. Little did I know relocating to Florida would reignite a new passion for cheer that was starting to dwindle after five seasons of all-star cheer. We were not only welcomed by the amazing staff but by the existing athletes as well. Never did we feel like an outsider or a newbie in this environment. The owner and coaches treat every single athlete the same and hold each and everyone of them accountable for their actions. This is something we have lacked in this sport and my girls noticed it immediately. No favorites, no parents dictating where their kids deserved to be. Your athlete earns their spot as it should be with hard work and dedication. This environment made it easy for my twins to flourish in a sport they now love more then they ever have. It also creates winning teams when you have level and age appropriate athletes where they truly belong! One year at Cheer Express and both of my girls have a Summit ring now to show all of their hard work has paid off! Led by Kimberly Dickenson, whom I consider to be the Vince Lombardi of cheer, they have created a culture of hard work, discipline and accountability. Combining this with first classes coaches, unparalleled choreography and a support staff like no other, this leads to one thing and one thing only… winning.

My daughter who at the time was 5, started at cheer express in august 2021. She competed on the minis team. My experience initially was mixed. They have an excellent program, great coaches,etc. But the atmosphere was not good. The other parents were very snobby as were their daughters, of course not all but some. But , I said to myself as long as my daughter is happy, enjoying cheer and flourishing I could take the uppity parents that I encountered. As her first season went on what I felt while being among the other parents on her team translated to cheer practice as my daughter was becoming depressed because the girls on her team did not talk to her, acknowledge her, and frequently left her out. At competitions, my daughter was frequently left out of team gatherings, etc. I attempted to talk to office staff who listened well and stated they would take care of it, but nothing changed. Finally halfway during her 2nd season she came to me in tears after practice and said she never wanted to go back because of how she was treated. My daughter is at a new gym and is happy, and I am glad I made the decision to take her out. If you are an African American woman and want your daughter to take all star cheer do not send your daughter here.

My daughter is now going on her second season at CE. She has been cheering since the age of five mostly Rec. She had done some All-Star half seasons and to my knowledge learned so much.

It wasn’t until she came to Cheer Express that I saw a huge difference. The coaches are amazing and caring. The staff is awesome to work with. They really want each athlete to be their very best.

My daughter left another gym this year after being dedicated to them for 9 years. She just started doing tumbling lessons at Cheer Express and it has been great to see the smile and passion returning to her face and heart. The coaches there are amazing and positive. It is a lot of hard work however; as Varsity's saying goes, "the work is worth it". I look forward to seeing my daughter grow even more and use technique and grace in the future years to come.
