I’ve had the pleasure of being a client at Chicaboom for the past five months, and it has truly reignited my passion for fitness. Before joining, I had lost motivation and fallen out of love with the gym. I'm 6 months into a fulltime one on one schedule with Wendy. I'm down 25 pounds of fat and in the best shape I've been in years. She creates a fun but accountable atmosphere that's motivating and rewarding. The nutrition plan that Wendy creates for me each month has been key to my overall success, learning what I should eat and when. Chicaboom was introduced to me by one of its clients, (Maylet) I was so nervous on my first day that Wendy (owner and leader trainer) helps me to let go of all my fears and doubts of getting back again and again. Wendy makes those pics below to show me my progress during a month, assisting 3 times per week. I was astonished and surprised when i see them, that i couldn’t believe it. Chicaboom and the beautiful girl that told me to give it a try, changes my life for good. Also, Tylor, and Carlos, are very good trainers too. I’m truly happy to be part of this amazing gym. This fitness center on North Tamiami is a real find! Several weeks ago I began doing small group circuit training there with Taylor twice a week. There are two small gyms adjacent to each other and she alternates between the two each week so we aren't always using the same equipment. Taylor does a terrific job monitoring each of us and making sure we have proper technique and are challenging ourselves. Wendy is the owner and is extremely welcoming and professional. I highly recommend this neighborhood gem.

I’ve been with ChicaBoom for a couple months , but even by week 2 I saw noticeable improvements in my body, my energy levels, and my mental health. This program has completely changed my way of life for the better, picking up good habits and learning how to eat properly are just a couple of the things I’ve been able to learn through this process.
Wendy has been so attentive to helping me reach my goals and keeping me on track!

If you are serious about getting in shape fast, adding muscle and toning your body, this is the place to go! I love the small classes of women only (the have all male classes as well), I have been taking the classes with Nasiel for over three months now. I am thrilled! Recently I had a bone density scan and the results were great! Three years ago, I was borderline osteoporosis but now I am in the normal/good range. It is great news, especially for my age. I am very happy to have this group in my health corner!

I Love working out at ChicaBoom! I’ve lost 14lb of body fat in 5 months (without losing muscle mass) with diet and the help of Naisel pushing me in my workouts! She takes the guess work out so you can focus on working out, which has been huge for me since I have such a busy schedule, and that’s a big part of what kept me from showing up and being consistent. She keeps me accountable and pushes me when I need it. 😅 She’s fun, patient, and knows her stuff! It’s a great community and my friends have loved it too which makes it even more fun! 🤩 💪🏼

ChicaBoom Fitness and the amazing instructors have completely transformed my view on fitness and the gym. The workouts are well-structured and challenging, but adaptable to my comfort level, making it possible for me to push my limits without feeling overwhelmed.

In addition, the members that attend the small group classes are welcoming and motivating. All the encouragement and personalized attention has made me feel not just like a member of a gym, but like a valued part of a community.

Thanks to ChicaBoom and Wendy, I’ve not only improved my fitness/ physical appearance but also gained a newfound appreciation for working out and I feel so much stronger. The change in my attitude towards exercise has been profound, and I credit this entirely to the incredible team at ChicaBoom. Having Wendy as a trainer is like using cheat codes because she gives such good instruction during workouts. I've been going to ChicaBoom for around 8 months now and have seen results I never even considered possible for myself. The workouts are intense and push me to my absolute limit. But Wendy is so encouraging and really knows how to push you to new levels. She is very patient and knowledgeable, and truly just wants to see you be the best you can be. I participated in a 14 week program with a meal plan and exercise schedule earlier this year and by the end of it I had lost a little over 10 lbs and put on muscle mass like I've never had before. Seeing my results everyday makes me excited for the rest of my fitness journey.

Chicaboom is the best place for quality small group classes and personal training. I’ve been through several trainers in the past and none of them were able to motivate me to make permanent change. Wendy Rojas, the owner and lead trainer, has been the turning point in my fitness journey. Wendy’s attention while training is the big differentiator. She watches so closely and knows if you’re struggling, if the exercise is too easy or if you’re about to hurt yourself. If Wendy isn’t available to train, one of the other capable trainers jumps in. Very flexible and down to earth place. Chicaboom also has a InBody scanner which has been huge for me in being able to track my muscle growth and fat loss.

I can’t recommend this place and Wendy enough.

Like many other reviewers, let me start off by saying that ChicaBoom changed my life. Wendy and her team are so knowledgeable, supportive, and passionate. I have lost fat and gained muscle, confidence, and more energy than I thought was possible. I LOVE going to the gym. I look forward to going to every small group training! Not only is the whole team wonderful, but everyone in every group training is kind and supportive as well. I felt anxious right before my first class but there was nothing to be worried about!!! Also, the music is always great.

I broke my leg at the beginning of 2020 and went from roller skating almost daily to laying in bed and taking it easy for months and experienced muscle atrophy in my whole body. Even when I technically recovered, roller skating and my favorite active hobbies weren't the same despite attending physical therapy for months. I felt scared, uncertain, and nervous in my body. Several years later I still felt the effects of breaking my leg and I wanted my life back. I didn't know where to start or what was even safe. I am so glad I took the leap.

Wendy and her team work with my physical limitations whenever they pop up and help me push past my mental limitations. I am capable of so much more than I ever thought possible now. Thank you ChicaBoom ♥️

Reflecting on my 4 year fitness journey with Chicaboom Fitness Sarasota. Winter 2019 l decide I wanted to get in shape for my 50th birthday in May 2020. I was training on my own and wasn’t see much results, so I decide to invest in personal trainer. I wasn’t from Sarasota so searched Instagram to find a local personal trainer. There I found my forever fitness family @chicaboomgitnesssarasota. Even through COVID shutdown Chicaboom found a way for its members to still train virtually together. I am so grateful for Chicaboom fitness! I started with a lot of hesitation, as I felt like the classes were out of reach for me. I was nervous to start and had a huge fear of being judged. What I discovered was just the opposite. Not only do I feel understood, but I also feel listened to, and respected in my workouts. I love the one on one workouts because Pam takes the time to make sure I understand the exercise, I’m comfortable, and that I’m not experiencing any pain while doing the movements. Sometimes I’m curious about why I do certain movements and where I’m supposed to be feeling each exercise. Pam always takes the time to give me the answers I need, without making it feel like a burden. Because of this, I am able to incorporate some of those movements at home to supplement my one on one sessions. I feel so much better after my workouts, and I always leave feeling accomplished, even on my ‘bad’ days. I am so grateful to have a trainer that listens to me and pushes me further than I want to go most times. I have made so much progress since starting at Chicaboom—both physically and mentally. Thanks to ChicaBoom and my trainer Pamela, I am stronger than I’ve ever been! What I love about training here is you never get used to the workouts. They are constantly challenging us mentally and physically to push ourselves outside of our comfort zones. Pamela always makes sure every exercise is done with perfect form to ensure nobody gets injured. Another thing I’ve loved is the time we put into core strength and targeted exercises to improve our balance. CB has made such a positive impact on our family's lives! I love Chicaboom! From the start they were very welcoming. With Chicaboom I get a personalized experience and am already feeling stronger after only a few weeks. I have trained with Pamela and Wendy and they’ve both been amazing. The small classes are very intense and really get my heart rate going. Wendy is an excellent personal trainer, and the small group classes are challenging, but realistic. I always leave feeling like I got the most out of my workout! -- It's also a bonus that the sessions never feel repetitive or boring.
