If your plan alone is now 40 dollars, reminder to all looking here. You can buy a set of weights off FB marketplace and a set of clothes for cheaper.

If you need specific machines, there are other places. Public work out stations at parks.

If you need practical work outs, try rock climbing or other body sports, it's cheaper per month.

If you need movie star looks, try Cnter. Chris Hemsworth. Gives you diet, personal coach videos, and work outs from his trainers than make you look movie ready with no gym for roughl6 the same price.

Dont indulge companies who rabid dog after your money with little compensation.

I really enjoy working out at this location, but I wanted to share a couple of concerns that have been making the experience less convenient.

First, closing the showers at 12 noon seems like a poor decision, especially since that’s one of the busiest times when many of us are on lunch break or leaving work early to squeeze in a workout. Having the option to shower afterward is important for those of us heading back to work or appointments. It would be greatly appreciated if the shower hours could be extended during peak times or kept open until at least early afternoon.

Second, the condition of the lockers really needs attention. Many are broken or barely functional, which makes it frustrating when trying to store personal belongings securely. Upgrading or repairing the lockers would go a long way in improving the overall experience.

Chuze has a lot of great things going for it, and I hope these concerns can be addressed to make it even better for your loyal members.

Let me start by saying I love Chuze and up until today I’ve had nothing but a great experience. Today I came in to workout and brought my water bottle to fill up with water . Today the water at the fountain was hot . Not sure why . No problem , I’ll just ask for a little ice . The two beautiful ladies let me know that they could not give me ice because it’s a charge . I’m assuming since the fountain has hot water I could be politely accommodated . So the sweet young lady goes and gets the manager and she begins to tell me how the ice is in fact not free and that it’s a liability policy . She explains it would involve her going In the kitchen and getting a clean cup and bringing it to me . I frowned and ask her would she have to go to the kitchen and grab a clean up if I paid ? she said yes . I told her that makes not sense . Now policy is policy , I have no problem with it . The problem is I’m a Max member . I had other options like using the $5 bucks to purchase ice or getting a bottle of cold water , but I had to find that out on my own . I returned to the counter and applied the bucks for 2 cups of crushed ice and thanked the young ladies for assisting me . Point being , there is always room for improvement in customer service . Don’t be so quick to shut a paying customer down with nonsense about a liability . When you have other options to provide that will still help someone . Hoping for improvement at this location and maybe even cold water at the fountain .

It's pretty messed up. I've been a member here for years. And the q r code scanner they put in, doesn't work, and I go in the app, and it says, it doesn't recognize me or have my information.When i've been a member since it was bailey's for over fifteen years. I even typed in the correct barcode number and how to download a barcode scanner just to do that. You mean to tell me that you can take my money every month, but i'm not even showing up in the system to show up after hours when it's a twenty four hour gym? Also, every stairmaster, it's not working properly, except for one. All these upgrades and no equipment upgrades. Either I don't understand what this company is trying to do. The new ownership has demonstrated a true commitment to improving the gym experience. Under the previous name, the experience was good, but you could tell that there were some things lacking, like cleanliness. I have come to this gym for years (Bailey's) and the general experience has been and continues to be consistent. The workout area is large, there is plenty of equipment and the atmosphere is very neutral, where you can decompress and work without interruptions or inconveniences. They own the other location at Baymeadows and 9A and started a nice remodel there. They say they will do the same at their other locations. This one at Phillips Hwy remains untouched but I hope they do the same here. I personally prefer this location. It is less busy and people seem nicer.

I had high hopes when chuze took over but this seems to be the location that does its own thing.

They were supposed to start staffing at 6am again, not here… in fact the one staff they had that showed up before 7 and got things in order doesn’t come anymore.

First the cleaning crew goes then the lone employee… if you’re an early morning gym goer be prepared to search for paper towels and cleaner. This turf room here is an obstacle most days since no one can pick up after themselves but it’s not as busy as point meadows.

So pick your poison.

First time I went to this gym someone was robbed in the men’s locker room. I left while the police report was being filed, very uncomfortable feeling for a single woman at 8pm. I understand things happen but I would expect better security for the safety of members. Certain equipment is also unavailable after certain hours even though it’s a 24 hour gym. All around an unsafe location with limited equipment.

I like it (Baymeadows) because it's closer to where I live compared to other branches. Also, the vibe is nice, front desk greets you nicely. I know they try hard to keep it clean and keep up with the broken equipment. However, this area can always be improved especially the bathrooms and sauna. Please make sure all bathrooms have the toilet and towel papers when possible and clean. All in all I still highly recommend this branch.

This was an amazing place for fitness. The dance instructors made it worthwhile to go, but the people in billing need to get it together from my understanding. The owners sold it to some other company. But when trying to cancel your contract when you move out of town, you can forget it. They will slap this on your credit Without hesitation, even if you do a two week notice and show proof that you moved out of the city, I have done this twice with this company and wouldn't recommend anybody going here.You're better off going to the YMCA.. They have far more amenities, and the customer service is superbbed

There's no point in having a 12 month contract for a gym and jack up prices in the same time, adding all kinds of fees that are simply illogical. I had a very bad experience with them a few years back, and dealing with their management was a mess. But hey, I don't hold grudges and looked on the website to see what options they have since my son is 14 now and wants to work out. Pretty ridiculous to say the least. This location is a real gem and one of my favorites! Friendly staff and convenient access. Locker room is large and like the entire facility kept in immaculate condition. Pro Shop is amazing! This gym is great *BUT* y’all got a bunch of flies living in the men’s showers and it’s kinda gross and extremely annoying. Also, the showers smell like mildew (neither of these used to be the case).

DO NOT SIGN WITH THIS GYM, I went to move states a while ago and went thru the process of cancelling my membership showing proof of my new address and everything to them, they even took a cancelation fee and everything! months pass and I get a call from a collections agency notifying me I owe over 400 dollars due to them not cancelling my membership. I’m a little skeptical of the staff in the Kid Zone mainly Ashley. I don’t think she should be around kids. My kids always cry when she’s there. Makes me uncomfortable to leave them with her and I don’t… I just go to another location with friendlier staff for the kids. And the AC is always out in the group fitness. I only go because of the Monday night class but sacrificing the safety and well being of my children is not worth it.

Very nice spot. I jumped in on the Hip Hop dance exercise class and the energy was amazing! The instructor was everyone's biggest fan, she was the sweetest. It was the Monday night 7-8pm class.

I love Bailey's as a mom. I switched to this gym when I had my first kid because I could never get to the gym because i had nobody to watch my baby. Once she turned 1, I took her to Baileys with me. I was nervous at first because she was only 12 month old and never been to daycare but miss Maria was amazing with her and we got to the point if I was being lazy and didn't want to go my baby would ask to go there so i went. I was a member for almost 8 years. Taking a break for health reasons but once healed up from surgery definitely rejoining. Aside from my favorite part the children's play area, everyone has always been so warm and welcoming and it felt like a second home and was a clean place.

Well the gym itself was very nice and had a great free weight selection. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars was because I forgot my ID and had to go back to pick it up. I was visiting from out of town so that’s part of the visitor pass. I went back to pick it up and an older Caucasian man with glasses was at the front desk. I told him that I needed to pick up my id and he said to let him help the person behind me. I didn’t have time to process it and he made small talk with the guy. It took a long time roughly about 2 minutes. It wasn’t until the other attendant showed up that I was able to get it. I told him I was there to pick up my ID and it literally took no time at all. I’m not saying I was discriminated but I’m also not saying I wasn’t. Just a weird interaction. I just don’t know the reasoning of helping the person before me in line but guest perception wasn’t really thought of in this case.

When are you updating the stair masters at Baymeadows? Been around for 20 years and always break preventing members from fitness needs. Poor quality equipment at this location.

Bailey's Gym is amazing. The staff are always so welcoming and friendly. I highly recommend taking the Body pump class and Ignite, the instructors are the best. I'm so glad that I became a member.

Anyone complaining about the fees does not take their fitness seriously. I workout 3-4 days/week. I pay $40/month to have access to every location, plus the performance rooms. Yes, you will pay a registration fee, get over it, this is standard with any fitness club. The water fountains are no different than any other gym. If you're expecting a 100% clean fountain, just stay at home. The best fitness club in city, no comparison.
