I arranged for a party for my grandson and friends to use the range from 9 to 11. We ordered pizzas and cokes. The bar ran out of coke before the end of the evening and we could no longer get any golf balls before our time was up, so I felt like the boys didn’t get the full 2 hrs I had paid for. No notice was given to us that the ball dispenser would close down before 11.

My wife and I went last Friday, showed up at 5:15pm. They reserve half the bays for reservations, the other half for walkup. All the walkup bays were full with people waiting, more than half the reservation bays were empty. Despite two guys standing behind a sign giving the illusion they’re there to help, I was directed to a QR code and required to make a reservation online. Despite all the open bays, I was only able to begin a reservation at the top of the hour – 45 minutes away. When I asked the guys for if they could start my session earlier and get me the code for the bucket of balls that come with, they couldn’t. Kind of rude about it. Their suggestion was to purchase a small bucket while I wait. Unhelpful, and judging from the empty bays a lot of missed revenue. Hope they rethink their reservation system. When able to plan for a top-of-the- hour arrival time and have made a reservation in advance, the place is great – decent food, great service, fun atmosphere, and golf. I don’t recommend just popping in unless it’s during the week midday.

Gracie R. Was absolutely fantastic. My drinks came out customized as requested. My husband asked for a beer and she brought it out in an ice bucket because she believed it was not up to cold standards. She went above and beyond. So service is top notch, but the food and drinks are also excellent. The views are undeniably the best in Florida. No where else in Florida has Hillsboro views like this. Clermont national is great. Our first rough experience ever was with Chris( female manager.) we watched her eat a full meal in the bar area yelling out orders to the waiters and talking on the radio at full volume. It wasn’t needed.we made eye contact multiple times and she didn’t have the courtesy to come and introduce herself as a representative of the Clermont national. As soon as she left the area the whole vibe changed and the mood was much happier. We will still come out to the national but will refrain from being around Chris.

I played it several years ago, I didn’t know it was renamed to Clermont national. It’s one of the few very hilly course in central Florida. The conditions have improved quite a bit. The top-golf style range is nice, it’s packed! Although it was raining (not too hard), we decided to play and hoping the rain would stop soon. Well, it didn’t stop soon but it didn’t last more 7 holes either. It was really nice once the rain stopped. Felt like fall than summer. We really enjoyed its design, more like playing golf at Georgia or New Jersey. From tee boxes to greens, all pretty good. The greens were slow when it was raining but later they were in fact fast. Some parts of the fairways are wet, the rough was tough to play. Also difficult to locate balls if we can’t keep our shots on fairway. Choosing the right club on elevated greens, especially those playing downwards is very challenging. We will come back again!

Very interesting and varied course, with elevation changes that I've never really seen in Florida. Really cool (and terrifying) to tee off and see just the tippy top of the flag below you. Bunkers, water, blind landing zones, unforgiving shoulders. If you like a fun challenge, this is a great course. The food was excellent, and they had a lively T@p G@lf style driving range. I give the course 4 stars and the View restaurant 1 star. The course plays longer than the listed yardage. The rough is very deep and hides balls. Love the layout and terrain. Greens were grainy and not consistent.
The View was terrible. No waiter so we order at the counter. They default the tip to 22% for doing nothing. No beer at that counter, so we have to go to the bar to get a beer. My chicken sandwich was so bad that I ate only half of it. My buddies burger was overcooked and tough. The fries were edible. For $14, I expect a decent sandwich.

Texas Hill Country meets central Florida.

This course is unlike any course you will play in Florida. A lot of elevation changes, and blind shots.

Playing it a few times would help a lot to determine the lines. Greens are slow but with elevation changes and undulation changes it is understandable. Beyond that the only downside’s are the rough (if you miss the fairway by 1-3 yards you shouldn’t lose your ball) and yes the range is nice but the mats are low quality.

Has a lot of potential, would like to play it a few times to see if it is truly worth the price as a Florida resident.

I came here for brunch today with my brother, whom I have not seen for some time. We were both pleased to see that they were very responsive and the food was terrific, but most of all the view it's hard to believe that the elevation from this Viewpoint is so high for Florida!

Definitely go if for nothing else a drink on the patio and the view below.

Oh yes, and there's a golf course and a driving range that just caps off the day. Definitely go.

I have sen many golf courses in Florida but none like Cleremont National !! It is like playing somewhere in Ireland ... where slopes are the makeup of your fairways and greens 40 or 50 feet lower than the fairway... The beauty of it is that it is in Florida where this is absent on 95% of the land ! Go play Cleremont National ! Dare to go into a golfing experience out of what you are used to. It is difficult but beautiful !! Very well taken care off. The practice range has computers to analyze every one of your shots for free. And the bar and restaurants !!! Amazing ! A plus 100 !!!

We have been going to the range at clermont national for the past couple years well before The View opened and there was a major upgrade to facilities. Overall, we have loved our experiences before and after the upgrades and find this to be a great location for all, families, couples, those new to golf or seasoned pros. The staff is attentive and genuine.

The only critique would be that we loved the TopTracer software and don’t find the same features and software capability with InRange. Also, love the new reservation system, but if there was a way to have it all the time that would be amazing.

Lastly, on our latest visit something sat sourly with me that I cannot ignore. There was an employee on his off time in the bay next to us that was talking down to the servers on staff and talking extremely rude about them when they weren’t around. It made us extremely uncomfortable as the servers he was talking about were nothing but kind and attentive to us.

Excellent set up and had a great time overall. The owners did a great job with the Driving Range which is better than Top Golf in my opinion. Main facility staff was courteous. The food was pretty good and good entertainment singer. Great views of Orlando to the East as well got to watch a space rocket launch with a great view.

The only negative is the horrible valet set up and wait. They were understaffed, had limited valet space and when you tip up front, it is customary for your vehicle to be parked closer to the valet wait area. Instead we waited in line and overall for about 15 minutes+ while the staff that was there stood around. Don’t valet and save yourself the time and just find parking. Otherwise, a fun experience. Hopefully, they will spend time on improving their valet service.

I absolutely love this place! Incredible location with an amazing view, a state of the art range to improve your golf game and a great place to hang out with friends. They have shot tracking technology to help for more serious practice, and great virtual golf courses to play for fun. They also have professional instruction by top PGA professionals.

It’s such an incredible spot for our community! The range staff is always helpful and cordial and there are multiple food and beverage options on the property.

I love my time spent at Clermont National. With that being said the customer service from the clubhouse is not good. I spend more than 4 days a week practicing. Do not be on the clock “eating your chipotle” and get on to me about trying to buy range balls. The amount of money and time that I have spent out here does not deserve the lack of customer service and clear rude communication I have received. Wonderful somewhat-hidden gem in Clermont. Great family vibes on Friday and Saturday evenings with music and entertainment. Offerings beyond the golf course include an interactive driving range, lawn games, and multiple bars and restaurants.

Only constructive feedback is that the restrooms seem rundown and limited for an otherwise nice facility, and parking can be intimidating (“free” valet offered).

New range system is garbage compared to top tracer. This was my favorite range because of the accuracy of the readings for real golfers. This new in range system faults every other swing. Great course. Terrible pace of play. 1:40pm tee time. No carts at 1:10. We did get to the tee box right at 1:40 after waiting 30 minutes for a golf cart. Finally teed off at 2pm. The pace was so slow that we couldn't finish the round by 6:45 when it got dark. 4 hours and 45 minutes and we didn't get past hole 14. Unbelievable.

I brought Gaspar Golf’s Pirate Golf Tour to Clermont National on 2/15/2025, with 40 players competing for over $1000 in cash and prizes, and this place didn’t disappoint! Very cool course, with lots of elevation changes, which is atypical for a Florida golf course. The staff was amazing. I rented out 2 of their Top Tracer golf simulator bays for my group before golf, which was a cool perk for a golf course. The biggest reason I loved this place was the atmosphere around the clubhouse after golf. There were no fewer than 200 people outside, men, women and kids, all enjoying perfect weather, live music, great food and cold beverages. I’ve never seen a golf course with this type of family atmosphere to enjoy after a round of golf. Most of the people enjoying their Saturday night didn’t even play golf there. It is just a great place to take the family for some relaxing fun. Kudos to Chip and the rest of his amazing team! We will be back for sure!! ☠️⛳️🏴‍☠️

We had 8 guys playing this course. We were on vacation and decided to play the old Sanctuary Ridge now called Clairmont national.
I have to say the greens were the best I seen them.
But rest of the course needs work. I would of rated the course higher but the price dropped it down.
Not worth $ 119 maybe a $70 and a $ 50 reply is a it's worth. A lot of better courses around for $ 119 and way better conditions.

Clermont National was a great course/experience! Very easy to get stuck on driving range at The View, but we made it to the course. Hole 1 doesn’t set up for much of a great impression, but the other 17 more than made up for it. Tons of dog legs and elevation changes making even the shortest Par 3s and Par 4s quite the challenge. Course conditions were impeccable and the greens rolled very true. Most important, well worth the $59 green fee. Use the aiming sticks too, they’ll position your next shot very well. Highly recommend the course and if you don’t elect to play, definitely stop by The View and take advantage of the hospitality and Top Tracer Range.

The course is in great shape. Not perfect with some bare spots but we haven't had rain and its been 100 for a month. What was perfect however was the staff. From the restaurant to the beverage cart, the people are enough to make you come back.

First time playing the course. Starter was very friendly and made sure I had my gear in the cart before showing me where to park before the first hole.

It's very nice putting green with a palm tree in the middle. The green almost looks fake.

Top tracer driving range is a nice setup if you want to have a good range session.

Now the course, not sure what this looked before but renovation but it's coming along nicely.

The greens are rolling smoothly, and they have nice undulating tilt. You want to be below the hole.

Fairways are generous for the most part. Stay out of the rough, that is some thick grass that will turn your club

Now, there are some holes that if you never played the course it will take your lunch.
#9 - it's a left to right shot over the corner of the lake.
And straight up the hill.. so far up that the flag had an extension, so you can see it.
#10 - left to right severe down hill blind shots to the green (only 287yds par 4)
#11 - Another left to right blind shot to the fairway downhill. With waste bunker all the way down on the right
#17 - 277yds par 4. It's straight uphill with a hidden bunker on the right. You don't see it off the tee, only the one close to the hill.

All the Par3 except for 1 are downhill and 1 uphill.

It's a fun track, and it will get a return play next time I am in town.

Only thing I wish this place had was a system to claim a bay. Some days I'm lucky and only wait 20 minutes to grab one. Other days I'm left kind of fighting to find one, and even then sometimes theyre snagged if im not gast enough.

The food and drink options are great additions and this is better than doing top golf if you're looking to up your game and actually pratice.

Course was absolutely amazing. Great layouts nice challenging holes. The course did not disappoint. Only draw back was it took 5.25 hours to play 18. But still well worth the wait. Might play it again tomorrow.

I went into the bar and sat down. A gentleman walked up to the bar and the younger bartender. Asked the man what he wanted and prepared his drink. Another bartender was in the middle of making a drink. Looked directly in my eyes and when I said “hello”. She did not speak and she looked away. When the first bartender was done making the gentleman’s drink. She looked directly in my eyes. Said nothing and asked the party next to me if they had been helped yet. I then proceeded to leave. I feel they were either rude or racist.

I went to Musical Bingo at The View for two consecutive Wednesdays. It was a lot of fun...an engaging experience. Mostly 1980s music. Food and drinks good, too. It starts at 6 pm but get there by 5 pm to secure a seat. It's a popular place.

Wednesday night bingo at the view: I have some family members that arrive at the View at around 4 to get us a table, and bingo starts at 6. The same groups of people get there before us and save 2 or 3 tables and many chairs, and their parties usually show up after we’ve already started. We don’t think it should be acceptable for somebody to “reserve” 3 tables when only one or two people from the party are actually there. At that point, it isn’t first-come first-served and there is no point showing up. Also, one group that does this never orders food or drinks and are just taking up space.

Don't bother going to Wednesday night music bingo unless you arrive at least 2.5 hours early. Our friends of leisure arrive at 4pm have been unable to get a table with more than 2 seats, because already people have consolidated multiple tables and chairs for themselves, and their parties usually show up past 6pm. It's frustrating and uncomfortable being squeezed in, so we're done.

Arrived around 8pm on a Sunday night. Had the BBQ which was ok. It was cold but edible. I am introducing my 7 year old to golf and he seemed to have a good time just playing corn hole but really wanted to hit some balls with his new driver with me. Waited for about an hour and then had to call it due to it being a school night. When's a good time for him and I too come back. I don't mind waiting but with it being a school night I couldn't wait any longer. Atmosphere was great though!

Update:

Tried this place out again today. Arrived around 2pm had lunch in the view. The southwest burger was really good! And I was able to get a bay without really waiting! Highly suggest this place for family friendly fun.

The atmosphere is pretty nice. I like when they have a live music band playing. The layout itself is beautiful. The only reason I'm giving less stars is because there are not enough bays and always a wait any day of the week and the food places are very poor. I ate at the barbecue food truck and it was absolutely disgusting and extremely overpriced for a very low quality food. The sauce is were so nasty, the fries were awful and oversalted, and the meat was dry. The ice cream place I believe is Häagen-Dazs which is grocery store level ice cream. I would expect more for a place like this to have a non-chain with real ice cream. The serving was very small and they gave me the wrong flavor as well. I will go here to golf but I will eat before I come because the food is just disgusting.

My wife and I had a great day at this course. Loved the elevation changes. Greens were in great shape. The views were beautiful. Staff was helpful and pleasant. Every one we played with (two people we played the front nine with had to leave and we played with a twosome who caught up to us on #10) were so much fun.

Only negatives we had: play was a bit slow. We let a single through and a twosome cut past us on #4 to join the single. Total round was 5-hours (we teed off at about 11:30 and finished close to 4:30)
They are working on getting bathroom facilities on the back nine(there currently aren’t any). Other than the beverage cart there was nowhere to fill water bottles on the back 9…bring water.

Clermont National is a golf destination on par with TopGolf. The course is a lot of fun, with multiple elevation changes, several Par 5s and challenging and unique hole layouts. The front nine is definitely more forgiving than the back nine, but a great combination for golfers of all skill levels.

I think what puts Clermont National over the top is their off course amenities and entertainment. They have a TopTracer driving range, food trucks, and lots of activities for the kids. It’s almost as if the golf course is secondary to the other golfing and entertainment options.

I can’t wait to play here again and bring the family, because it has something for everyone.

Nice upgrades to the facility but I will give a poor rating to anyone trying to “make money” by charging a SEVEN% credit card fee! Trying to recoup cc cost is one thing but 7% is just egregious.

Revising to a single star - even the guy at the window told me the 7% fee showing up was a credit card fee. If you have changed it due to poor feedback say so - if you are charging two separate fees, then say that, but your response is misleading - on a $99 charge the "FEE" being charged was a full 7%

Originally had 5 stars while the range was open. Excited to see the course was open, went online to book at tee time and saw $90/pp. You can go to many of the luxury resort golf courses in Orlando for the same price or less.

Was very excited after the range and The View opened but after seeing the tee rates, had to change my review.

UPDATED: Reducing my star rating to 1 star after the owners very condescending response below:

"Thanks for the review Tyler…we’d be interested to know what luxury courses you’re referring to that have those rates in the middle of golf season in Florida?"

Upon seeing this response, what kind of business owner would respond to a potential customer that way. Completely out of line.

After looking at some other reviews below, it looks like they have the same nasty attitude towards any negative comment. All they simply need to say is "Thanks for your feedback." And leave it at that, no need for the rude or sarcastic comments. Completely unprofessional.

Awesome place, range is great, family friendly, course layout is excellent. Really well done after the renovation, they’ve put a lot of money into this place and it shows.

My only recommendation would be to figure out a way to give a price break on weekdays and late afternoons. $90 for weekend mornings is totally fine and comparable for the area, but this course is $90 whenever you play. Sunday morning or Tuesday at 3:00pm is the same rate. Not sure I’ve ever seen that. And I am aware of the membership, but the course has to be losing money this way. The tee sheets in the afternoons are wide open while other nearby courses are packed because it’s half the price.

I hope they figure that part out, because the course, layout, scenery, range, restaurant, etc is absolutely A+. I’ll be back, just not as often as I’d like to due to the price.

Love the place!
But I got there at 9pm bought some golf balls to hit. We couldn’t finished them, since they close at 10:30pm and were very pushy to get us to leave. Sucks I had to leave half a bucket and was not able to finish what we bought. They should have at least give a warning when they are about to close so we don’t buy a certain size bucket of balls or turn off the dispenser(like a last call at a bar) to buy more balls at a certain time.
Best thing they could have done was let us finish the bucket we have left. We still stayed for about another 30 minutes while they were closing up shop. Not sure why they were in a rush to close if they weren’t 100% ready to have everyone leave. Hope management helps us out here.

Since the owner gave me a reply of a ‘shrug emoji’ ..which seems kind of unprofessional. I wish they have bigger signs on their operation hours and last call to hit balls.

Great atmosphere, good food and drinks. Only complaint is their customer service is lacking. Multiple times we’ve ordered food and they are supposed to text us and never do, so by the time we check on our order it’s been sitting around. They do offer to make it again but that’s another 30 minutes waiting on fresh food.

I really liked the course (first time playing here). A shot makers course, not just a bomb it and wedge it in. Challenging and amazing elevation changes...and the views were fantastic. Friendly staff too. The only reason I left off the 5th star was the price. The course was a little rough to ask the greens fees we paid (although the greens were in very good condition). I'll be back, but in the summer.

Mediocre food. More like a daycare with screaming kids everywhere . Not enjoyable . Music is so loud you can’t talk to the person next to you . Cafeteria style service . Not a relaxing atmosphere.
