Super clean organized and lovely course also the country club is a great place just to grab a bite to eat there's also a playground tennis court and a park across the street that is sponsored by Publix grocery stores so lots to do on this one corner if you like golf need some lunch or want to hang out at a park

Glows: beautiful layout for a public course. 3 nine hole courses which helps the crowds. The lakes and scenery are very nice. It almost makes you forget you are in central FL. The gentleman in the clubhouse was very nice from taking tee times on the phone to the check in process. I had my 15yr old daughter with me (she is a really good player) and he made us both feel comfortable and welcomed. Having a starter playing traffic cop was also a welcome sight. He was very kind as well. We were visiting from ATL and we will be back. The tees, fairways, and greens were plush and very few dead spots. Impressive for a public course and rates were very reasonable.

Grows: if i had to offer two suggestions, maybe three
1) greens were plush and smooth but were slow.
2) consider participating in Youth on Course to help junior golf
3) we didnt see many water coolers (if any) on the course

In short, we will be back

Please try this place! It is reasonably priced food that is created with care. As someone from the culinary industry with over 25 year experience, I can not bring myself to say cooked because that is to basic of a term for their food. Presentation, quality ingredients, and large portions are definatly thought about when it comes to this resturaunt. If you read my other reviews, you will see I do not hand out praise willy nilly. This place deserves it.

Never in all my years have I wasted money this badly. Genuinely an atrocious place. Prices are way too high for an entire course that is brown and dead. No one wants to help you, they just stare at you upon entry in awkward silence. The food is something from a tee ball field concession stand. The clubhouse is rotting away and there is mold in the bathrooms. There is zero separation between tee times because the clubhouse just wants your money. Unless you want to send 8+ hours to play just 9 holes I would go anywhere else. Unfortunately, Google doesn’t allow a zero star or even negative star review but this place would deserve every bit of it. I would rather cut up $100 bills and feed them to the sunbathing gators around the course than give another cent to this place. I would say it’s safe to say, I will not be returning

Enjoyed a great round of golf at this course. It's a very good value, sure there are some rough spots here and there on the greens, etc. but for the cost it is well worth it. Lots of fun holes and I really enjoyed the many holes by several beautiful lakes around the property. The staff was friendly and overall the course is in good shape for a municipal course. The pace of play was excellent on the Thurs afternoon I played mid March. You even get a free beer after the round in the bar/restaurant when you show them your scorecard!

I play Cleveland heights sometimes, not incredibly often but enough to know that every time I’ve come, we’ve had no separations between our tee times. Had to pair of golfers added to our twosome because they can’t manage tee times. Some of the greens need alot of work. It’s honestly way too expensive for the course condition and the 5 times I’ve come, having the course play way too slow because there’s no tee time separation.

On July 27, 2024, I had an unforgettable wedding at the Cleveland Heights Golf Course. It’s a beautiful venue and it has amazing staff, Bella and Emily helped me navigate my wedding flawlessly. Tabitha and the male bartender did a great job with our guests! The reason I gave 2 stars is because the course is in good shape. But the experience was poor. Beginning with the starter who was extremely rude. On top of that we were forced to follow 2 groups of 5 players each which was not acceptable for the green fee I paid & the 5 hour round Not the Sunday morning I was looking forward to. Cleveland Heights was a disappointing failure today. Not sure if I will ever play there again.

This was an amazing course through and through! The greens were well-maintained and very peaceful and serene. We had a large party and the staff members accommodated us with such hospitality to make sure we had what we needed. All of the staff members were helpful but special shout-out to Dave who checked in on us regularly throughout the course, answered all our questions and gave tips/advice for successful runs and was so patient with our large party! Highly recommend!!

16 of the 27 holes were designed by William Flynn. Same guy who designed Shinnecock and Cherry Hills where the US Am was in 2023. Greens had a good speed and were very smooth. Fairways and tee boxes were in good shape but expect very tight lies in the rough off the fairways and greens. Played in late February… Bermuda is dormant. Great test of golf that won’t beat you up. Classic course you must check out.

Have heard nothing but how good the course is but it was patchy with area so dried out there was now grass. The greens are horrible with sand and bumps everywhere and no it was not arrayed. Was miss lead on greens fees, vets for $20 but when you show up they say it's for 9 holes. Also was priced for $36 on golfnow but since u can't book greens fees thru golf now I was st k paying! $45 dollars! Oh and you can't even warm up since it's mats only at the driving range so no practicing your driving before you play!!!! Very very poor course never be back!!!

Greens are medium(8/9stimp) to slow(5/6) and patchy but the course does get a fair amount of play. Staff is generally unpleasant and cater to primarily seniors. You will never see an early morning 18 as they are booked everyday for the senior groups that have them reserved. Aka it's a country club for seniors with no dues. Probably one of the worst managed courses I've ever been to. The course itself isn't bad just needs TLC

Played here for the first time yesterday and got my moneys worth for sure. Despite being very busy, the pace of play was steady. Clubhouse staff and the starter were friendly and professional. The course was in decent shape, some of the tee boxes on the par threes were chunked up pretty badly, however the fairways and greens made up for this. The refreshment cart came around multiple times and they had a good assortment of snacks and beverages, which was great seeing as my group played all 27 holes across all 3 of the courses.
The Irish pub in the clubhouse has a great menu, friendly bartenders and waitstaff, and many TVs. It was a very comfortable place to relax after playing the courses.
I will play here many more times and highly recommend that all golfers in the area book a round or two!

While I was in the area I visited this course many times and loved each and every visit. The staff is great and they’ll do what they can to make sure you get out to have a nice round of golf. The fairways, green, and surrounds are all well maintained. Their prices are great, especially their twilight prices (I love walking the course afterwork as the sunset). Played today, tee time was 812 we waited on A for a threescore to tee off. Courses B and C were empty. Not sure why they went to all 18 hole players teeing of on course but it doesn't help play. On top of that, we had an employee and a ranger have a conversation on by a tee box, then they went down the fairway to have another conversation. If you are there to golf why try holding long conversations.

Beautiful and fun 27-hole course. They have a driving range, chipping range, and practice putting green. After you play, I highly recommend taking a beer to their balcony that overs looks the 1A teebox and 9A green. Great way to wrap up your round of golf.

Played Cleveland heights this morning. Course is in horrible condition. Greens are very high and not being kept up. Lots of animal holes on the greens, along with "depressions" the size of garbage can lids. Unfinished repairs are also evident on the greens.
Greens really need to be cut. Also they are not sweeping them in the mornings, so as you can expect, tall greens that are wet and not swept makes for a miserable time playing.
This course used to be nice. What the heck is the city doing?

Nice course. Outstanding cart girls. Absolutely terribly rude starter. Stacked us right behind a pair which isn’t a huge deal, we weren’t in a hurry. Was then harassed the entire front 9 and followed around by him. Back 9 we get stacked behind a different duo again and then another duo gets stacked right behind us. Starter must of been to busy policing than paying attention where he sent players. Was going to enjoy lunch afterwards but just left after being treated so poorly. Won’t be back for quite a while.

Once we got past the starter, who seemed to be having a really bad day, we had a great time. The starter was not overly friendly to put it nicely, he was upset when another pair of golfers stopped to talk to us, and motioned with his fingers like a 1st grade teacher to a child for us to present our receipt to him. He had his earbuds in the entire time, said about 4 words, and did his best to show us who holds the real power at this golf course. Cleveland Heights, great job with course upkeep and friendly pro shop, but you have got to do something about the starter. I didn’t catch his name, but he was working the morning of 12/11 around 9:30 AM.

Julie was our waitress, and she did a superb job making my colleagues and I feel quite at home. Aside from being very attentive to our needs, Julie demonstrated a level of energy and professionalism that is rare among young people. The Turk sandwich was also extra tasty.
I will definitely be a repeat customer and will recommend CHGC to my friends.

So we tried the restaurant for the first time with high hopes even though it's a golf course generally there Bar menu or Club menu is fairly decent. I ordered the Reuben on marble drive and my girlfriend ordered the Thonotosassa Club that's a nice as the club came out very flavorful great great use of the avocado spread and the colby jack cheese presentation was good my Ruben however the corned beef was dry but if they adher to my suggestion on the preparation methods it should be much better.... come on 12 dollar sandwich deserves it right. The management was very kind and quick to correct any concerns.

Called for information regarding lessons from the pro shop. A gentleman named Jim answered and said very quickly that due the pandemic they are waiting until after Thanksgiving. As I was asking a follow up question he said uh-huh and hung up while I was speaking. I understand they may be busy and in a hurry, but I would of rather no one answer the phone than for someone to not even take 1 minute to listen or to care about what I was trying to ask.
