This studio has been a LIFE CHANGER for me! Headed into menopause with a litany of pain in all of my joints due to arthritis truly from head to toe. I was skeptical of a large chain studio thinking I may not get the one on one support for my needs. I can honestly say that I am beyond grateful, blessed and proud of the way I have changed , grown and strengthened due to Club Pilates.(Countryside). I knew from my very first class with Linda Medina that SHE was the real deal and that she was going to MAKE ME STRONG! BOY, was I right! Linda kept me engaged, focused and confident in my journey for strength and pain relief. Then I happened into a class with Sevi and I knew that I was “home”, she made me feel so welcome with her warm, adorable sense of humor and her infinite love for her practice. The transformation is almost indescribable.
I can say however that I have not needed to see my rheumatologist nor have I needed medication. I will CONTINUE at Club Pilates for ever and ever and ever…!

I Love Club Pilates🤸‍♂️Do Pilates- Do Life

As a breast cancer survivor, Holistic Life Coach and an advocate for Health, Club Pilates has been a great experience, professionally and personally. The Instructors/Coaches are educated and they work with each of us, helping to make sure we’re properly aligned as well as any modifications one may need.

Club Pilates was the missing piece for the Healing and Balance in my protocol .This Club has completely transformed my body, and mind. I am stronger than ever now.

Front desk staff is always available to help with everything I need. Not to mention the variety of classes and availability.

Join the Club and Invest in yourself, because your Health is your greatest asset.❤️

I love the classes & the staff is amazing.

Janel is a very knowledgeable instructor. Her fast paced classes are so fun with the perfect amount of variation that you're never bored. She keeps a careful eye on everyone to not only make sure that doing the exercise properly but that they don't overdo it and injure themselves. She is such a joy to be around too. I always look forward to her class.

Nancy at reception is always very helpful, upbeat & friendly. She really makes you feel welcome.

Another instructor I also like is Stefany. She challenges the class but always makes sure youre doing things at your own pace.

I'm so glad im a member!

A friend invited me to an intro class at Club Pilates in Dallas, and I’m so glad they did. I was in a motorcycle accident that left me with spinal injuries, so I’ve been really cautious about finding a workout that’s both safe and effective. Pilates has been the perfect fit—low impact, but I still feel like I’m building strength and stretching in a way that supports my recovery.

I joined during a special promotion and felt like I was getting a great value—honestly, the cost of a monthly membership is less than what I’d spend on a weekend of eating out. What really sets this place apart, though, is how welcome and understood I feel. The instructors have been incredibly supportive about my need for modifications, and they truly listen to my goals.

Whether you’re just starting out or looking for a more advanced workout, I highly recommend Club Pilates. It’s been a great experience for both my body and my peace of mind.

This is for the ft harrison location since I cant find their google page.

Front desk girls were friendly, seems like they are over staffed at the front. Their weekday hours end at 6:30pm which is way too early. There is no way I would sign up to pay more than their competitors with such limited availability. The instructor was nice and very helpful with explaining form and instructions but sometimes hard to understand her clearly.

I Love Countryside Pilates!! Finally I have found the missing piece to my exercise regimen. No matter what age or physical condition, one can definitely benefit from Pilates workouts! I cannot say enough good things about the staff and instructors! Linda and Sevi are hands down my favorites and they truly care about what they're teaching! Their knowledge and commitment to excellence never cease to amaze me, helping us all to achieve our personal best. They keep classes fun and uplifting, with great music, interaction and personalized instruction to emphasize correct form.
Pilates has helped me to accomplish personal goals within the past 6 months, that I have been unable to accomplish on my own in years - and for that I am forever grateful!!

I hesitated to write this review, but then I went to another Pilates studio and had a total different experience. I then realized the issue was the instructor at this location.

I was having trouble with an exercise in a group class. I asked why isn’t this working for me? The instructor quickly (and loudly) said it was my lack of ability. A few seconds later she realized that she set the machine up incorrectly per my height. She fixed it and then I was able to do the exercise. She continued being judgmental towards me in front of everyone so I left in the middle of the class.

Would not recommend at all.

I’m one of the older men in Pilates!
Born in the 1940’ish time.
I can say confidently….one is never to old for Pilates! Regardless of size or shape, you can gain a whole new perspective on life with, and have fun with, a regular Pilates workout.
Nice way to meet new friends, stand taller, and just feel better. It’s hard to start at first, however after a few times it is a wonderful and rewarding routine / and healthy habit, providing a great feeling of accomplishment. I will always remember completing my first 100 classes😀.👍
The instructors are well trained and a joy to work with. Don’t ever feel embarrassed by your workout mistake, or fear asking questions.

Clearly I’m biased. Pilates have helped me immensely, both physically and mentally. I share this story, wishing you the best in your experience and journey in felling better and stronger with Pilates.

I started to love Pilates. Thanks to the amazing instructors and the team. Linda, Bella and Amber have been my favorite so far. They push you to your limits and test your strength. Have been doing Crossfit for many years. Never realized how much core strength is needed until I started the classes. Staff is very helpful and friendly. I highly recommend this club for everyone.

I wanted to like this club but it didn't work out for me. I tried to stick it out but eventually decided not to return. At my previous studio (also a Club Pilates) in California, I loved going to my classes and would attend as often as possible. I saw changes in my body's strength quickly and it was an uplifting part of my day. In my years at Club Pilates, I have only ever attended the Flow 1 class and I am used to the difficulty level being on the simpler side. We were always presented the option in class to "add on" or make a move more difficult if we were ready. Instead, at this studio in Clearwater, we are given the harder option and then told to modify to make it easier. But this is Flow 1 - it's already supposed to be basic. I felt myself getting frustrated and feeling like I couldn't keep up and do certain moves. I also have injuries and there are some moves I didn't feel comfortable performing, and I was not given alternatives, instead left hanging and feeling both left out and frustrated. I found myself looking at the clock hoping class was over. It brought me down instead of improving things for me and it was hard to make myself go. Finally I decided I would no longer attend. I stopped going and I was instead billed for another month. Club Pilates has a policy that you have to give a 30-day notice to quit. I argued with them that I was not partaking in the month's classes, so why are they so invested in collecting $100+ from me for services they will not deliver? I got a brush-off answer from the manager, Jorell, and when I communicated further about my disagreement in writing, I got no response, and instead have been sent to collections. Let's be clear, I *could* pay the $100, but out of principle considering the details above and not taking part in classes, I don't think it's right to pay for a month I won't attend. I love Pilates and I'll look for another club.

DATE: 8/10/23

I provided Club Pilates - Clearwater with 38 days' notice for cancellation, although they only require a 30-day notice for cancellation.

I initiated my membership in February 2023, paying a monthly fee of $199. Initially, I was attending regularly until needed to pause/freeze from June 17th through September 17th due to personal reasons, life happens. Additionally, I was paying the monthly $15 fee during my freeze period for what purpose besides what felt like greediness really, I'm not sure. Despite all this, I'm being charged $199 for a new month, even though I wish to cancel immediately.

Charging me nothing with this much notice would demonstrate good customer service. Even charging me half of the monthly fee as a cancellation fee would be more reasonable, but imposing the full $199 fee on August 18th 2023 seems unjust.

Apparently, all cancellations require a 30 day notice and must be processed from an active account. So I am "unfreezing" my account immediately, so that I can pay the $199 for a month in which I can take classes, then I can be released.

I acknowledge it was definitely my mistake in hastily signing the contract on the iPad handed to me in the studio without thoroughly reading. Felt high pressure though really, you go in for the 30 minute introductory free class, then all the individuals who attended the class sort of congregate up front with all their questions, a couple of IPads flowing around for people to sign up with a staff member, then when they see you're on the cusp of signing up, they throw in an extra week, maybe two, to make up for the time that it takes you to even get into a class rhythm bc they book out that far, then you get a free racerback logo t-shirt. Oh and if wanted to lock in that $199 monthly unlimited rate, I needed to sign up that weekend, that day specifically because their rate was going to increase that week.

If Club Pilates let people out of the memberships easy, then I think people would likely be more inclined to return in the future when they are able to.

In any case, this has left a very negative impression on me. I hadn't anticipated the need to freeze or cancel my account. However, I would have hoped that the General Manager, Joell, of Club Pilates would have handled this differently.

There was one instructor would personally try to avoid when booking my classes, Linda, but I had to take at times because of early AM classes that best suited my work schedule. She would laugh at me (not a with me kind of thing) when I did something incorrectly, and she would show overall frustration with the class if they weren't doing things correctly. Like a condescending laugh or shake of the head. I saw her call out others too, some ladies would turn red in the face, I always felt bad. It was more like scolding than constructive criticism. What happens is we all just look at each other like poor deer in headlights bc we're legitimately confused at what was just rattled off to us whether it be by memory or looking down at that sheet of paper without looking at us. She would say "Look at me, not at each other!"

Samantha, Cassidy, Ivette, all great instructors that are no longer on the schedule. There seems to be a lot of turnover and TBD Instructor classes.

To conclude, I was not pleased with the practice of Joell, the GM, taking photos of the class while exercising for social media posts. Let us work out in peace, we’re not there to be your social media models, not did I ever approve of photos being taken of me. Given the substantial membership fees, it's reasonable to consider hiring models or willing club members for a designated photo shoot.

Perhaps your experience with this studio differs or will differ, but I can only relay my own firsthand experience. Scam like policies.

I was going to cancel my membership because they have some policies that are only good for the club but not for the costumer. But Peggy is such a good asset to the company and give such a good costumer service that she should be the manager. And not the actual manager who has no people skills. and Peggy is the only reason I reactivated my membership. I really hope she gets promoted to manager.

First of all when trying to sign up for intro class, I received 3-5 calls a day and these continued even after I signed up. It was very very annoying and it seemed like no one communicated.

I tried a month of unlimited and it took me awhile to find the classes and instructors I liked. I went nearly every day. After trying all the instructors and various class types and levels, I only felt challenged 20% of the time. The population that goes here seems to be more beginner exercisers and
they cater to that. Due to this I downgraded for the next month for just 4 classes in hopes of taking a specific class that I like on Saturday. I then find out this class is removed! Now I can't find any classes that are higher level with instructors that I like and that fit with my schedule... I work normal hours and am not the type to workout at 6am. All I wanted was a higher level class in the evening - even one day a week - but there were 0 options. I tried to switch my package to the Largo club in hopes of finding classes that were worthwhile but I was rudely told that I was not allowed to and could not get a refund either.

The best instructors are Linda and Taylor but very few of their higher level classes worked for my schedule. If you are looking for a variety of 1.5-2.5 level Pilates classes I would not sign up for this studio. Overall I am very disappointed they couldn't work with me to resolve my dilemma and I wasted so much money.

Honestly, I was hesitant to try it when my cousin who’s a member invited me. The stigma of “gyms & studios” & the judgement that comes with it doesn’t appeal to me. You will NOT get that here! It truly is for everybody and every body. The safety, expertise & variety each instructor, both male & female, brings to their class keeps me from getting bored. YOU make your workout personal to you. I’ve been a member for 4 months during the off SUP season. First time SUP workout last week for over an hour ending with a 1/4 mile throw down sprint challenge from my 18 yo son in a kayak. Happy to report no injuries, regulated Pilates breathing, no residual soreness & toasted my son! I’m sold & addicted as other review mentioned. Join today, you won’t regret it.

I have mixed feelings about this club. I enjoyed the classes but the prices are high. I also feel like there should've been more transparency about rules & i had an unprofessional experience which caused me to cancel.

They sell you on the fact they offer multiple different classes at 4 different skill levels. What they don't tell you is that you need instructor approval to take certain classes. I joined and was paying $180/month. My schedule only allowed me to take morning classes which were limited. You have to reserve your spot in the class ahead of time since some of them fill up so i reserved a class a few days ahead of time. A day before the class, i got a text message from club pilates saying they canceled my reservation for the class (a class I'd already taken before btw) because i hadn't gotten instructor approval & i needed to "work on my breathing" before being approved. Umm, really?

Keep in mind, I'd been going to this club for just a few weeks and had the same instructor only a few times so who knew me well enough to say this? This really rubbed me the wrong way. I'm in shape & have been working out regularly for 15 years. I lifted weighs throughout 2 pregnancies up until 37 weeks and never once injured myself.

If Im paying $180 month, I'm not going to be told which classes i can take. I know my own limits.

When i tried to cancel they told me there'd be an early cancellation fee of $100. Really? Had i known these rules to begin with i wouldn't have even joined.

My advice is know the schedule & rules before you join. They make you commit to 3 months. If they're so confident about the quality of classes and service, why are they making people commit to 3 months? I did enjoy the classes but wouldn't recommend this club to anyone based on lack of transparency & unprofessionalism. There are other pilates studios.

This is the first time I've done Pilates, I'm on month 3 almost and I love it. All of the instructors are great and help when you need it. The classes offer new challenges each week, also they have small class sizes (12 max I think). I would say the only down side is they are so busy sometimes the class I want gets full. The prices are reasonable considering how involved the instructors are. This is great for anyone, definitely recommend! #takemymoney lol

Absolutely FABULOUS club. It's Pilates and unfortunately for the last poster he has NO CLUE about it- they are VERY competitive with pricing- most private Pilates clubs it is $35 per session or greater- Club Pilates (all of them and there are many) are about $25 per session depending on the package you get. I highly recommend that everyone interested take the free introduction class!!! Some of the best $ I ever spent on myself!!!
