I had a very disappointing experience with Club Pilates Plantation. After losing my job, I spoke directly with the manager about canceling my membership. She told me not to worry and assured me she would take care of the cancellation fee, even saying she empathized with my situation. Despite that, I was still charged the fee. Unfortunately, I had only been signed up for not even a month when all this happened, which makes the experience even more frustrating. It’s clear they don’t care about your experience ,but only the money.
On top of that, classes are advertised as 60 minutes but usually start late and end early so members can clean the machines meaning you only get about 40–45 minutes of actual class. The way they handle both billing and class structure is misleading and unfair. I would not recommend this location and suggest others think carefully before signing up.

I have been visiting this studio on and off for about a year, and after returning recently, I was disappointed with my experience. The instructor, Lisa, was not welcoming, doesn't even smile or acknowledge you. In addition to that overheard her gossiping about another member to someone in the class. I found this behavior unprofessional and it created an overall negative environment. I come to enjoy the class and support my overall well-being, and this experience fell short of that. This is the only studio I have experienced this, as I have tried a few. I guess I will continue attending my home studio instead, as this location has too much unnecessary drama.

I am obsessed with Club Pilates. I joined back in May and it was the best decision I made for my body and mental health. On top of the health benefits I have gained from Pilates, I have to call out all of the amazing front desk staff and instructors. I have not encountered one bad instructor, and the front desk staff lead by Carlene is amazing. They are always accommodating and so sweet! Alex and Carlene are amazing along with everyone else. Mary, Lisa, Andrea, Angela, Christy, Cianara, Angelina, Laura and everyone else are the BEST!

I’ve been a founding member at this studio since it opened, and up until now I’ve usually enjoyed my experience. Unfortunately, my class this morning with Marisol was very disappointing and unacceptable.
During class, I set my phone in the corner to record myself doing an exercise (something I’ve done before without issue, and I only ever film myself). In the middle of the session, Marisol abruptly and very rudely stopped in front of everyone and asked me, “What are you doing?” When I replied, “I’m filming,” she continued in a disrespectful tone, repeating over and over again, “Oh, you don’t do that here,” as if I were a child or committing a crime. I told her I’ve done it before, and instead of handling it professionally, she dismissed me by saying, “Oh, because they didn’t see you do it — but you’re not allowed to do this here,” again in a very rude manner. She literally stopped the flow of the class to single me out, and everyone was looking, which was both embarrassing and unprofessional.
To be clear, I completely understand if filming is against studio policy. That is not the issue. The issue is the way she addressed me — loudly, repeatedly, and disrespectfully. All she needed to do was politely tell me once, and I would have immediately understood. Instead, she chose to embarrass me and speak to me as if I were a child. I am a paying client and a grown adult, not someone to be disrespected in front of an entire class.
This is not the first time I’ve sensed rudeness from her, but this was the last straw. She needs to be addressed for how she speaks to people, because this is not how you treat clients. As a founding member, I had every intention of staying long-term, but after this experience, I’ll be using the rest of my credits with other instructors and then canceling my membership with Club Pilates entirely. I will be moving to another studio, because this kind of treatment is completely unacceptable.

For the past two years I have had the unlimited class membership at Club Pilates in Planation. My experience has been wonderful and I try to take classes at least 4-5 times per week. My results so far are weight loss, increased strength, flexibility and muscle tone. If I am closed out of a particular instructor's class, I also attend the studio at Midtown in Plantation. The convenience of having access to both studios is wonderful! My favorite instructors are: Pamela (passionate about Pilates and extremely knowledgeable about the body because she is a also a licensed physical therapist), Polly (very personable and upbeat- a wonderful way to start my day), Pum (very encouraging and supportive), and Claudia (very calm and pleasant personality). All of these instructors are very caring and take the time to correct my form without criticizing or belittling me.

I LOVE Club Pilates. Erin is an amazing instructor. Her class is so fun. Her energy is contagious. She gives a fabulous class because the workout is so good, it flows so smoothly , and she’s entertaining and enthusiastic. Ava is amazing too. She is extremely caring with her students injuries. Her classes are so good , they flow smoothly and her personality and humor makes the class so enjoyable. These two instructors are especially great. Thank you to these instructors for making my mornings start off on a great note.

I have been a member of Club Pilates since they opened in Plantation Michelle, who has been my inspiration for the last several years has done everything possible from being the most phenomenal teacher in role model to be becoming my cheerleader and good friend. Club pilates is my happy place. The women that are there are the staff. The entire experience is helping me get through the most difficult times in my life and makes me stronger more focused and ready to take on whatever is ahead of me ! Thank you, Michelle for creating such a wonderful atmosphere

I’ve been taking classes with ERIN and I can’t recommend her enough! She brings such a fun and energetic vibe to every session — her sense of humor keeps things light, even when she’s working us hard. She knows how to push you to your limits while still making the class enjoyable. If you’re looking for a great workout with a lot of laughs along the way, she’s the one to go to! “Rainbows shouting out of your feet” 😂

The best Pilates experience of all. I've been coming and going for about 8 years now. I've been in several other places, but nothing is as professional and fun as Club Pilates. I have been doing 5 times a week for the last 6 months, and I see the amazing results not only in my body but also in my mental health. My favorite instructors are: Erin, Ava, Ashley, and Jose. I have been a member of Class Pilates Plantation for the past six years. With over 880 classes taken over that course of time I have greatly benefited from Pilates thru knowledgeable instructors who poured their hearts and know how into their students. My posture improved significantly and I gained strength, making me proud member of this Club. Currently instructors that capture my attention and continue to advance my skills are Lisa, Ava, Lina and Christy. However most important is the work students put into the Pilates, listening carefully at the given prompts, and giving their best!

Club Pilates is a great place to workout, feel better, and be part of the Pilates family. I am truly addicted!! I joined in 2018 and enjoy the variety of classes, amazing instructors, and the camaraderie with the members. I love that Lisa takes the time to help perfect everyone’s technique no matter what level you are. Angelina refers to us as “team” during the suspend (TRX) class and really challenges us to get the most intense workout. Marisol is so upbeat and always motivating. Let’s not forget Judy’s cardio sculpt class- one of my favorite. All the instructors bring something unique to their classes. I can go on and on but come see for yourself. I highly recommend this studio.

I've been taking classes at the Plantation Pilates studio for over 1 year now. I have enjoyed most of the instructors but the one instructor that stands out for me is Christy. I’ve been a member for a little of 2 years and love coming here! It’s warm and welcoming and the waitlist moves fast. It really helped with my post partum recovery. My favorite are the more challenging and well organized instructors, Alejandra and Erin! The contracts are pretty clear and it seems to me that most of the negative reviews are due to not reading and understanding fully what you sign. If you need to cancel or place a hold with a doctor’s note, you’re able to do so. I also appreciate how the classes cater to various age ranges and skill levels.

I had a terrible experience with Club Pilates due to how they handled my membership cancellation. Per the terms of my contract, I was allowed to cancel anytime after the initial 3 months with 30 days’ written notice before my next billing cycle—email being an acceptable method. I followed this exactly, emailing them 30 days before my next billing in November 2024. No one ever responded to that email, and they went on to charge me anyway.
When I contacted them to resolve the issue, I was met with unprofessional and rude behavior from the manager, Carlene, who told me I had not cancelled. After I forwarded my original email, she simply stopped responding. She even claimed that emails sent from the iPhone Mail app don’t get delivered to them, which is absurd and unacceptable for a business.
They continued trying to charge my card, forcing me to change it to avoid further unauthorized charges. It wasn’t until March 2025—after I filed a dispute with my card company and complaints with Florida agencies—that the owner finally reached out. He apologized and stated that he would retrain his staff on the cancellation policy.
While I appreciate the eventual apology, no customer should have to go through this level of stress and effort just to have their contract honored. I hope they make real changes, but based on my experience, I cannot recommend this location.

The experience at this studio is poor. There is no effort towards good hospitality and customer service. The company policies are rigid, outdated, and inflexible. The experience becomes stressful and unpleasant revolving your life and schedule around a pilates class. Class credits not being transferable is inconvenient and honestly unfair as they are prepaid for. The studio does not care if you have health issues or any other life circumstances allowing you to not attend a class. So much so, that they make you come in person to cancel a class so you don’t lose your credit. This studio simply does not care about making attending pilates easy and fun. Attending classes is barely enjoyable when the booking/cancelling process and overall customer service is nonexistent. We pay a monthly membership fee for inflexibility.

After 3 months I was charged the monthly membership fee. I tried reaching out to the company 7 times via phone, text, and emails without any resolution. I was told the mgr. Was not in, they would call me. Etc.. They have kept my money but have not attempted to resolve this issue. Needless to say, I am still injured and unable to participate in any classes. The studio is very nice for beginners but classes fill up quick, your constantly on the wait list, and if you don't use your classes, they won't carryover. The staff lacks proper training, They aren't accommodating at all to any health reasons you may have. All they want is your money. Whatever you do, do not sign up for a membership with this place. They lack transparency, honesty and professionalism.
You won’t be able to sign up for classes if you don’t have the unlimited membership. Classes are are small.
If any unforeseen issues happen in your life, they will not accommodate you in any shape or form.
They have the tendency to tell you they’ll call you back to fix the issue or see what they can do, they will never return your call.
All they care about is just getting your money.

Working in retail for a large drugstore company for 38 years, I’ve realized the fact about managers and the staff of the business. The location takes on the personality of the manager. Michelle, is an excellent manager and a very accommodating and knowledgeable about Pilates. Being a 73-year-old male that doesn’t move very well, this has been an excellent addition to my weekly workout routines. All of the instructors at this location have been great to work with, Susan, Claudia, Martine. Taylor, Christy, July, Cyndi and not to mention Michelle. The worse experience I ever had. This club discriminated me big time because I am handicap. They did not want me to join their group clases which I paid for, instead they obligated me to take a private. I was not happy at all so Michelle offered me a refund back on January, till this day they have not refunded my account . Michelle and Claudia verified that I was getting my refund and now they are saying that it was a mistake and I am not getting my money back.
They are liars and will do everything to keep your money. This club should be shut down for discrimination!!!
I am happily going to Club Pilates Sunrise, the instructors there don’t discriminate me at all and I am able to follow the group class.

I have mixed feelings about this place. Let me first say I’ve visited multiple Club Pilates locations through my membership with them and also through classpass. I have an unlimited membership that allows me to access all locations. They recently restricted how far in advance people can book classes. I’m hoping this increases class availability.
My main complaint is with respect to how they treat pregnant women, and that complaint is specific to this location. They have a sign posted in multiple locations in the studio, that to me is overly aggressive and inappropriate (pic attached). They don’t have signs posted about any other issues - not socks, not other safety or cleanliness issues, only pregnancy. I can’t imagine any other medical condition or disability where they would feel it was acceptable to address an issue like this.
They offer a variety of classes - flow level 1, 1.5, and 2 as well as suspend, cardio, and restore. I told them last month that I was pregnant and they asked me to sign an additional waiver, which I did. The waiver as well as the signs hanging all over the gym say that if you’re pregnant you have to tell your teacher at the start of every class, and that they only level 1 classes are safe for you. Mind you, I have a friend that did level 2 classes at another Club Pilates until week 20 of pregnancy and level 1.5 until the day she gave birth. Similarly, Orange Theory and F45 allow you to take all classes your entire pregnancy and will help you with necessary modifications - the 100% correct approach.
Last week I told the front desk girl that I’m registered for 1.5 the next day and I’m pregnant. She immediately said, “I will remove you from the class.” I said “no, I’m telling you I want to take the class. I just want you all to be aware that I understand your recommendation but I’m declining it.” She then proceeded to get a manager, who got a trainer, and the three of them teamed up to tell me that I’m endangering my child, why would I take the chance, and it’s not safe for the other people in the class because I’m going to need special attention. Mind you, I am experienced, don’t talk to anyone, don’t bother anyone, and rarely ask questions or need corrections.
The level one classes aren’t challenging and can be great if you need physical therapy or are learning, but they’re slow. They told me that on a higher level class I might feel the peer pressure to keep up with the other students and do something I shouldn’t. I found this extremely condescending. I’m 42, have been in a gym since I was 14, know myself and my body, and I don’t think it’s their place to micromanage me like this. Besides the details, I’m an adult who is in charge of my own body and signed both their general waiver and additional pregnancy waiver.
As a business matter, I also think it’s unreasonable to limit my access to about 20% of their classes when I’m paying for access to all.
Even more annoying - their website has all kinds of BS all over their blogs about how they support pregnant women and how great Pilates is for pregnancy, but when push comes to shove they treat pregnant women like invalids who can’t make safe and intelligent choices on their own.
At the end of the conversation they told me another manager would call me the next day. No one called until I called again and asked. I finally got a call from someone who gave me the same lecture as I received from the three women at the studio. I told her I still plan to take 1.5, and if they insisted on preventing me from doing so to please put their position to me in writing. I never heard from anyone again and have been going to class as I choose.
The instructors are good, but management needs to improve and treat pregnant women with more respect and understanding. Also, if they really need a sign it should be a list of general policies - not a targeted attack on pregnant women, and the language should be way less aggressive.

I love doing Pilates, it help me with my posture, no more back pain or neck and shoulders tension. Every instructor brings new exercises, I like that is a small group and that it is organized, also the staff and instructors are always willing to help you.

Don't go to this Pilates places I didn't get the chance to meet the teacher but it was kinda rude I came at 3 and before I can check in she just went to work starting. Not only that the women in the front the blond was absolutely horrible to deal with.
She used her fake kindness saw that I was struggling because they did not even have Apple Pay!!!
And I needed socks socks!
I drove all this way I tried to buy socks
She needed to see a photo of my card and before I new it
It was ten minutes into the class and I had to leave.
The girl in the front seemed way to young to be working there. And could of lended me the socks and sorted it out until afterwards. Or had me pay after the girl next to her suggested me go. Then the blond would not let me go in with out a pair of socks!!
I was going to buy a package her 4 lessons.
Now I never want to come back they were unfriendly and not accommodating.
The women next to her tried to help me
But in the end it was extremely unfortunate I drove all this way over and this is how they treat me a new client!!!
Screw the ten dollar socks they lost a client willing to pay 100 a month!!!
Unfortunate and total lack of professionalism I worked from desk before and I would of never handled it that way.
Due to this lady inability to help this facility lost a client and idk if I even want to go to another location.
The Pilates instructors will loose clients this way

My appointment was scheduled 5 days in advance, I’ve had several conversations with Hannah in regards to my appointment, also making them aware that Ive never received Any consent form or instructions prior to my appointment. They suggested I arrive 10 mins early.
The moment I arrived I’m being instructed to pay $24 for a pair of socks (this should have been disclosed prior to my appointment not the day of) if there are special requirements why not discuss this before the appointment.
Please make customers aware of everything that is needed prior to their appointments not once they’ve arrived.

Let me first say: going to Pilates classes here multiple times a week has become one of the things I've stayed consistent in and look forward to regularly! I have been a member at this location for about 10 months.
I truly believe so much of your Pilates experience at studios comes down to the instructor, and Ava at this location is by FAR the best instructor I've had the pleasure to encounter, and I have tried several pilates studios in the area. I am habitually signed up for a class of hers on every day she instructs, and if they added her on more days, I would sign up for classes on those days as well. She is nice and funny, but I specifically love how she gets creative and switches up the format and exercises of the class. She will push you to challenge yourself and build strength but also is understanding that limitations or energy levels fluctuate, and is more than happy to work within your needs on any given day.
There are some other instructors I enjoy as well, such as Claudia and Katlyn. I haven't tried every instructor's class, but there have been a few instructors that are just not for me, so I avoid those classes.
The facility itself is always pretty clean and the front desk staff is generally welcoming. Their policies have been explained clearly to me and they send email reminders on policies or fun initiatives they are putting on, such as a Halloween themed week.

I signed up for a membership just two months ago and am already canceling (even though I've had a mostly positive experience). Here's why:
1) The space is simply too small to accommodate all the members, making it IMPOSSIBLE to book classes. If you don't have an unlimited membership, you can ONLY book classes when your billing period renews. For example, if you joined the studio on the 15th of the month, you are only allowed to start using your next round of credits the following month on 15th. I understand this is to ensure that payments go through before allowing people to book more classes, but what it actually does is encourages people to book classes months in advance, pushing other folks with later billing dates to the perpetual waitlist. Can you imagine paying $125-300 a month for gym membership and not being able to sign up for a class that month?
2) You are forced to get a membership, whether you want one or not. This company does not sell class packs. Drop-ins cost $35 a pop, but you can't purchase them unless you've had a membership. If you sign up for a membership, you have to keep it for at least 3 months. This means if you ever want to step foot in this studio, you'll need to have a membership for at least 3 months.
Some potential solutions:
I'm not sure about the lease situation, but moving to a bigger location that can accommodate more reformers would honestly be the most helpful. However, realistically, there are more immediate ways to alleviate the booking blockage.
1) Only allow people to book classes one week in advance, this way classes don't fill up so far out. People with unlimited memberships can book several weeks out, blocking people with 4 and 8-class memberships from getting a spot in class. Limiting class sign-ups to only 1-2 weeks in advance will level the playing field for all memberships and create a more equitable registration process.
2) Offer class packs as an option. Rather than paying $35 per drop-in, folks can buy multiples classes at once for a slightly discounted price (i.e. 25 classes for $30 each or 50 for $28). This way, people don't have to wait for the billing date renewal policy to book their classes. I would totally pay up-front for a large class pack to ensure I could book classes whenever I please, rather than being roped into a membership I can't even use because the classes already filled up.
While the employees at this location are lovely and I've enjoyed my classes so far, for the reasons stated above, any membership besides the unlimited isn't worth it. The price point is also a bit high for the location. It currently costs $125 to get 4 classes per month, when Orange Theory next door is offering unlimited classes for essentially the same price. While they are totally different workouts, the point still stands. Most gyms in this area charge $125-150 for unlimited memberships, yet that's what Club Pilates is charging for just one class per week. When you do the math, it may be worth it to invest in a reformer and do the workouts at home.

Elisabeth A. Is my absolute favorite! A little background I was in a near fatal car accident 5 years ago a quick summary of my injuries:
1. TBI with frontotemporal SDH and scattered SAH
2. C7 transverse process #, asymmetric widening of C 3-6
3 bilateral carotid dissection
4. Small to moderate sized left hemopneumothorax, # of left 1-3 ribs and left T1 transverse process
5. multiple pelvic fractures
6.(R) distal radius and ulna fracture
7. facial # (nasal bone, left orbital floor)
8. left D5 proximal phalanx fracture. t orbital floor)
fracture.
Yeah I almost died 😬
Anywho the only comfortable exercise I can do is physical therapy and (I now know) Pilates! 😊 I started in mid January 2023completed a total of 20 classes and in conjunction with dieting and carb cycling I’ve lost 13lbs! I have tried 8 instructors and Elisabeth is my favorite!
After her classes I feel like a ballerina 🩰! My posture is much better (heavy chested 34DDD) I feel more mobility in my lower limbs ! If it my clothes better! Even my bowel movements have been better! (Sorry if TMI)!
Elisabeth A. Does a great job with instructing which body parts should be and what they should feel like. She demonstrates for us sometimes even gets on the reformer (if available) and does it with us. She walks over talks you through it adjusts you when necessary and cheers you on!
She’s really awesome! Pilates in general is awesome for people like me! I’m glad I found it! I already got 3 family members to join! (Trying to get two more) 😅
Don’t think about it just try it !

I like Club Pilates but they can be misleading. You can only do a minimum 3 month membership. I’ll be leaving in a month so the lady that works there told me the only exception was doing the unlimited for one month, but the manager didn’t actually approve of that. You have to pay for 3 months to go for a month. It’s too bad they didn’t have better offers for their clients.

The staff members were patient and kind, however I didn't experience the full version of pilates-- the instructor kept looking @ her watch which made me feel uncomfortable and very uneasy!
I probably will return, but I request to speak w management before coming back, and spending my money.
