Love, love, love this studio! From the moment you enter and are greeted by the admin staff, then are asked by the instructor to share you and your needs. You realize your in a very special place, the staff here truly cares, it doesn’t take a long time to realize you’re part of a very special group! Another Plus 😊 other members are warm and friendly. This place has a hustle where they offer a "free" class, provided you buy a pair of grip socks. I tapped my card on the machine, thinking the most they would cost me is $5. $19.32 for a pair of freaking socks? "No freaking way", I said, "forget about it", and was out the door. That's all quite a hustle: You have to pay almost $20 for a pair of socks to do the "free" class. Not worth it.

Two months ago I joined Club Pilates. I had no prior Pilates or group workout experience. Early on I attended one of Sonee’s classes and immediately loved her teaching style. Sonee is an experienced and inspiring teacher! Her cues and corrections during classes have helped me to feel confident performing new moves and pushing myself towards new goals without fear of injury. I’ve been with Club Pilates for just about three years now. After rehabbing a torn ACL and back injury, I decided to give Pilates a try. I’ve tried many of the classes and everyone (staff included) are great! I especially enjoy Sonee’s Flow 1.5 classes. I find her classes to be quite mentally and physically challenging, which is my personal preference. Sonee is an exceptional instructor that brings such a wealth of knowledge to her classes. She is very encouraging always finding modifications for those who need it. “Work work work”!!!

I love Pilates and the ladies that lead the class at this location will make sure you get a WORKOUT! Seriously. Every class I had was so much fun and felt worth while.
They are so supportive and friendly - they make it exciting to go to class.
If you get the pleasure of joining a class Sonee is leading you will get a serious workout and meditation. She will make sure you put in the work - I can see the potential for a full body transformation after just a few of her classes.
Evelyn will make sure that you stretch and unlock every muscle. I swear some of the muscles we worked out I didn’t even know were a thing. If you do one class a week of just her cardio be prepared for a thorough exercise. Never been so happy to be sore 😂

I've been going to Club Pilates Carrollwood for a few months now and there is a good variety on classes and instructors to choose from depending on what my body wants that day. I really enjoy Sonee's classes which are more challenging, as well as Cecile who both have lots of experience and are great motivators. But all of the instructors are great here!
Unlimited membership is relatively expensive compared to a normal gym membership, but with Club Pilates it feels like I am working with a personal trainer for a full-body workout each time, so it is well worth it! I will add that you need to book about 1 week (or more) in advance if you are hoping for a specific class time/instructor, but you can also find an open reformer with much less notice if you are just wanting to burn some calories. There is something for everybody here and I would recommend to anyone looking for a new workout routine!

Update!
I have been a Club member (Trinity location first) then I joined the
Carrollwood location after we moved.
I have REAllY noticed a change in my body- I now come 3 times a week- I began with Center and Balance 2/week and now I am doing Flo1 as well.
I wasn’t able to do the planks or bridging very well at first, but the more I come, listen to the cues from Sonee and pay attention to each muscle group and how it’s impacting me, I have seen a huge difference in my muscle tone, flexibility and my mental awareness as well.

I prefer going to one instructor, but so have been to many. They each bring something new to the class- every single time. You never get bored, or think you know what they will be doing next- you don’t- and
I love that! 🙌🏻

I absolutely love Club Pilates!
I love how the front desk staff welcomes you, remembers your name and answers any questions you may have. The instructors are very well trained and equipped as well, and they especially to make sure to ask about any ailments.
They always give modifications, so don’t be nervous about starting.
They are very professional when (and if) they need to correct or guide your form. I would love to get to the point where I can come every single day because the work outs are so good.

So thankful for Club Pilates! I have a longstanding arm injury that I need surgery on next year. The instructors and classes have allowed me to strengthen muscles around the injury. Each class the instructors walk around making sure I modify when I need to, and check in to see how I’m doing

Sonee is exceptional! I’ve been working with her one-on-one and she’s giving me the courage and body strength to do hard moves, with the injury. I can plank on that arm, with limited pain, thanks to her help.

I love this place. The only thing I would change is maybe the schedule. It's always booked and the wait list is super long. But I have learned to start planning early during the week and get the classes booked. Other than that its awesome. I have tried two instructors, and I will say Coleen is great. I just started doing Pilates and choose this location because is close to me. I love the workout no class is ever the same. I do appreciate the patience of a lot of the instructors since this is new to me in every sense of the word. Cecile, Willow, Robin, Kelly and Evelyn are so patient and try to help me and not put me on blast or make me feel like I should know everything or treat me like I’m an idiot in boot camp. I couldn't be more grateful to have found Club Pilates in Carrollwood!!! I started classes earlier this year and after only a couple of classes, my back pain and posture/alignment had already improved tremendously -- hooray! My massage therapist was shocked with my progress and now recommends pilates to his clients who have similar concerns!

The instructors at CP Carrollwood are all amazing -- each has their own style which makes every class unique and different. I absolutely love how diverse the portfolio of classes is, which allows me to choose my classes (and change them) based on how I am feeling/what I desire, day by day (some days intense workouts, others lighter with more stretching, etc). I'm loving it so much that I just upgraded my package to the "unlimited" one! 😍

CP Carrollwood is lovely, and I am always greeted with a smile when I arrive. I have taken 33 classes here and about 90% of those have been taught by Sonee Thompson. I go to this CP location specifically to support her classes, because they are appropriately challenging and her energy is contagious. Her passion and dedication to teaching pilates are clearly demonstrated in her attention to detail and technique. So far my experience has been wonderful, initially I was concerned about class availability because I have to join a lot of waitlist's. So glad I discovered this place. I’d done Pilates before, even the reformer for a short time at another studio, but I always got a lower backache, and I was 10 years younger then. That has never happened at this studio. These trainers are amazing! The classes are small, so they’re really able to keep an eye on everyone’s form. And I love their hygiene regimen, no sharing equipment, no close contact, and everything is wiped down after each class. Can’t wait to go back tomorrow!

I am a review person! I read the review before trying out a place because you want to know the business before trying it out and spending big bucks. So here is a short review for Club Pilates.

My personal story is I was having issues with my health and needed surgery. The situation was getting worse with the stress. I joined pilates knowing nothing, and now I do it daily. I would step in with all stress and come out calmer. The body has changed drastically. Feel way lighter and hell lot flexible. And after a year got a clean cheat and needed no surgery. Everything got perfect. Don’t expect wonders in a week, but you do it daily. You will see a change in 30 days.

My life quote now is “ Do Pilates Do Life.”

Coming to the studio. Amazing trainers and front desk staff. Neat and clean space and washroom. You will feel it’s home in just a month!

Update 9.23.19: Pilates is still for everyone! You can and will make changes to you physical and mental health when you make yourself a priority. My images tell my story....500+ classes and still getting stronger!
Pilates is for EVERYONE! Two years ago, I walked in on a whim and I am absolutely convinced Club Pilates saved my life. After just 7 weeks of working out, my muscles changed to the point where I discovered a lump in my breast. I worked out twice a day until my bilateral mastectomy and recovered from my surgery easily because I had built up such strength in my core. After 6 months of chemotherapy, 5 weeks of radiation, and 4 major surgeries I am back getting stronger every day! I absolutely love this place. The variety of classes and knowledge of their instructors makes every workout new and fresh. If you want a stronger core, defined lean muscles, and a healthy mind, body, and spirit, there is a class and a variety of instructors to meet your needs (Sonee and Cecile inspire me daily!) Put in the time and you'll see the changes you're looking for!

Club Pilates on Dale Mabry is a great studio. I had never done Pilates before & decided to take an intro class with my daughter. I ended up loving it. Every workout is challenging. The instructors are all amazing. Each class is different so your body is always challenged. The entire staff is wonderful.

I’d like to share my journey that led me to the studio. Back in February 2013, I was diagnosed with cancer and underwent 6 weeks of chemo & radiation treatment. I was very blessed to overcome the illness, however I had lost the majority of my muscle mass. A co-worker of mine was looking for workout facility and asked if I wanted to try a free Pilates Barre introduction class at a private studio in New Tampa where we both lived at the time. We attended that weekend, enjoyed it immensely, and immediately joined! In May, I married Billy at the Hillsborough County Court House and planned a sunset ceremony on Treasure Island Beach in July. By the day of our ceremony, I had regained my physique, proudly wore my wedding dress, and had blissful day with my new husband, family, & friends! In 2017, we moved back to Carrollwood. I quickly realized that the location of my studio was not feasible for the Pilates regimen I was attempting to maintain. A Pilates pal recommended that I try Club Pilates, as she became a member at the Wesley Chapel location and totally loved it! Another friend of mine attended the Carrollwood location, so I signed up for an intro class in October 2018. I was so impressed with the studio, and the all-inclusive personal stations, that I was quick to sign up for the unlimited monthly package. I’ve been attending ever since, 3-7 classes a week… whatever I can squeeze into my busy schedule. I couldn’t be more thrilled! The management & staff are great. As for the multi-talented instructors, they are all amazing in their individual styles & techniques. In addition, the studio is impeccably maintained. AND, last but not least, during the Covid-19 pandemic, Nate & his Team went to extreme measures to keep us safe in the studio for as long as was permissible by the Governor. Once allowed to reopen, the safety measures have been very notable! I’m ecstatic to be back in the studio with my newfound friends, enjoying the comradery and motivation that I experience with every class I attend! Thank you Nate & Carrollwood Club Pilates Team!

I have been attending Pilates classes for about three weeks now at Club Pilates and I am finding the classes to be a lot of fun and very beneficial to my overall well being. It is the most relaxing hour of my day. A majority of my classes have been with Sonee Thompson, whom I really enjoy as an instructor. She really pushes you hard and gets you a more thorough workout, while also watching for your positioning and breathing patterns.

I have been a member of Club Pilates Carrollwood since they opened in January. All of the instructors are great and they make sure that you are properly doing the exercises. If you're a beginner to Pilates, this is a great place to start because the classes are leveled for experience. There are also barre, TRX, and cardio classes that offer variety to the Pilates reformer classes.
