We have been with CXA since their very first cheer season, and I can honestly say it has been one of the best experiences for our family. From day one, we’ve felt truly welcomed and supported — it’s so much more than just a cheer gym, it’s a family. The coaches and owner go above and beyond, not only helping my daughter grow as an athlete but also caring for her as if she were their own. Her confidence has soared since she started there. The dedication, encouragement, and love they pour into these kids is something special. We are so grateful to be part of such an amazing program and can’t wait to see what the future seasons bring! 🩵📣✨

We recently hosted my niece’s birthday party at Coastal Xtreme Athletics. While the idea of having a party here initially sounded fun and stress-free, the way the staff handled our event was extremely disappointing. Unfortunately, we will not be booking with them again.

From the start, communication was poor. My sister, who booked the event, only received a generic confirmation email confirming payment, date, headcount, and address. Beyond that, there were no detailed instructions on what to expect, what to bring, or how the event would be run. Their website provided a high-level overview but nothing more. No one from the team followed up with a call or email to prepare us for our event, which felt very unprofessional.

When we arrived, the previous party was still cleaning up—even though the website advertises that staff handles cleanup. We were then told to wait 15 minutes while the room was “reset.” Throughout the party, the staff offered very little guidance unless we directly asked. We had to ask about the fridge for our ice cream, whether music would be played, and even noticed there was no staff member monitoring the kids in the gym, despite their website suggesting they would. Adults from our group had to step in to ensure safety.

At the end of the event, we helped clean up ourselves—wiping tables, throwing away trash, and resetting chairs—again, something we thought the venue would handle.

What was most upsetting, however, came after the event. Coastal Xtreme Athletics posted a long list of “party reminders” on their Facebook page, including things like recommending tablecloths—something never communicated in their emails, on site, or during check-in. This felt like a passive-aggressive attempt to shame party hosts instead of taking accountability for poor communication. If policies exist, they should be clearly outlined in confirmation emails and reviewed at check-in—not posted vaguely on social media after the fact.

Overall, the lack of communication, lack of professionalism, and the way they chose to publicly address “reminders” after our party left a very negative impression. If Coastal Xtreme Athletics expects guests to respect their venue and policies, they need to respect their guests in return by providing clear instructions and professional interaction from start to finish.

My son's birthday party at Coastal Xtreme Athletics was a huge hit! The kids had an amazing time on the bounce houses and in the gymnastics area, and Dennis at the front desk was so helpful with our check-in. , and the facilities were clean and well-maintained. We highly recommend them for a fun and active birthday celebration!

This gym has went above and beyond to help any child in Bay County to make sure the child isnot left behind any point The coaches actually care about their athletes and the life lesson that they get taught through competing with their skills with things actually having to be worked for instead of just given they have the best coaches in bay county

My daughter was on their competition cheer team this year, the Zebra sharks, and has absolutely thrived at this gym and with this program!! She was previously on a rec league team and let’s just say I wish I would have found Kate, Betsy and the whole CXA family sooner!!! LG has learned so many tumbling skills, proper stunting technique and improved her jumps significantly!!! But most importantly she has come out of her shell and gained immense confidence in herself and her ability. The friendships and social connections she has found at CXA have been such a blessing to her and our family. We love our gym family and will ecstatically recommend them to all families with athletes big and small.

THE BEST GYM AND STAFF!! This gym has gymnastics, cheer, ninjas, bouncing babies, birthday parties and are always adding things in kids would enjoy! The staff is so awesome and treats you like family! They actually want to see your children succeed! They are always fair give critique when needed to help the children succeed. Our family has participated in cheer, birthday parties and ninjas and we have always had a great experience and will be returning next season for cheer as well! This gym is the best 1000000000/10 recommend!

LOVE LOVE LOVE!!! This gym is absolutely amazing and have something for all the kiddos! They have gymnastics, cheer, ninjas, bouncing babies, birthday parties and just so much! The staff is absolutely amazing! My kids have participated in cheer, ninjas & birthday parties and we have never been disappointed! The staff treats you like family! They want to see your children succeed! They are fair and professional, they correct where corrections are needed and praise every milestone! They are truly amazing, if you are looking for a gym to call home then look no further cause this is the one!

My daughter is enrolled in the lil ninja class with Coach Dennis. She is an active child and has learned quickly thanks to his patience and dedication. He is excellent with the kids and she loves her time there. We are lucky to have found this place!

We love this place. We had a June birthday party and just finished up today our July 26 birthday party. This place is great. Everything a kid needs to have a great time and burn a lot of energy. Big clean party room and super nice staff. The size of this place is just right for us. You have the ability to see what’s going on and where everybody is. 5 stars are not enough. Great price for party’s.

I took my three year old daughter and nine month old son to their Thursdays bouncing babies! We had a blast. The gym was set up so nice. It wasn’t overwhelming, but enough to keep the littles busy. Three bounce houses, kids riding coaster and various other things. Everyone was super friendly. We may even consider taking classes in the near future 😊.
