The best karate school in Brevard. My family has been involved with CCBK over the last four years. They have been very accommodating to my daughter who is hemipelagic. My kids learned about self-defense along with other life skills that will prepare them for the future. Thanks Sensi Des.

I can't say enough about Sensei Des and this Dojo. My 12-year-old was having a very rough year. I looked into karate in an attempt to find a regular physical activity that he might enjoy and to help him develop some gross motor skills. CB Karate was the answer to my prayers. Sensei Des, Senpais Lisa and all of the other students welcomed him and made him feel right at home. The Dojo always encouraged him and celebrated his progress. At the same time, he was challenged, worked hard and really earned his accolades. Thank you Sensei, for the gift of self-worth and for being the highlight for him each week!

Des is an excellent instructor of karate and life. He had an incredible ability to train and teach all students from beginners to advanced as well as all ages and ability levels. I started karate about five years ago and I haven’t left yet! Learning the art of karate-do has been one of the most transformative and influential things I’ve done in my whole life. I have built confidence and character, with hard work and consistency, but most importantly I’ve learned what humility is and to war against my own ego. Our 13 year old daughter started with Sensei Des and Cocoa Beach Karate about 10 month ago, after having practiced a different style of Karate in Pennsylvania for a few years. She really likes the teaching style and atmosphere at Cocoa Beach Karate and is excited to go three times a week. The other students are very friendly and welcoming and the teachers are knowledgeable and patient.

Cocoa Beach karate has brought my husband into such a youthful spirit! My husband began karate early this year not only for physical exercise, but as a way to continue training his body, mind, and spirit. Cocoa Beach Karate is Amazing! I started out with NO martial arts training. Sensei Des is wonderful, he is a 6th rank black belt who brings a wealth of knowledge and experience. The classes are purposeful and focused on bringing students of all ages to their highest potential. It is a perfect mixture of a healthy workout and a life long love of martial arts.
