Dropped in from out of town for the Weds night striking class. Coach Terry ran some great fundamental drills and sparring. Fantastic for people of all skill levels. The athletes were super chill but put in a hard workout. No ego whatsoever, and very welcoming for visitors. I definitely recommend Combat Sports Academy and will be coming back if Iโ€™m ever visiting Orlando again.

Iโ€™ve been to a few gyms in Orlando and This gym is by far one of the best gyms to train at. Bjj, judo, wrestling, striking and kids classes have all great high level instructors. The staff is super helpful and friendly. It feels like a family friendly environment. The gym offers top of the art weight lifting gym equipment as well. I need to go to work after, and the shower they have is super convenient. 7 day free trial, no contracts and no mandatory gym uniforms made me feel that this gym is confident in their ability to make me feel welcomed to train. I give this a 5 star review. Give this a try if youโ€™re looking for a gym

I started training here a few months ago when they opened up the JUDO program. Coach/Sensei Lakea Vargas Has been nothing short about standing. I have done martial arts before in Various types of gyms, but I feel like I found a new home here at CSA. Iโ€™ve only been to the JUDO classes so far, however, I do observe some of the other classes and I have to say the instruction coming from all of the Instructors here is top-notch. They all genuinely care about each and everyone of the students/members. The vibe among the members themselves is incredible. Everybody tries to help Eat each other out regardless of skill level. All are welcome.

The price and accessibility is unmatched and worth every penny. Members are allowed and encouraged to use any available training equipment during gym hours, whether there are or there are no classes running. The gym itself is kept in impeccable shape With all the resources anyone could need. I cannot recommend this place or the staff highly enough

I get pulled around a lot with work and dropped in for a few days while in town. I havenโ€™t been to a whole lot of gyms, but this is the best one Iโ€™ve been to. The coaches were great and the students were super helpful also, stopping in the middle of sparring to help with technique or showing tricks during technique drill. I did MMA, Judo, grappling, and striking. Thanks for the education

Incredible gym - facility, coaches, and members are all top notch!

As an adult with no experience in anything fighting or combat related, the thought of taking classes and starting this journey seemed so intimidating. The members and coaches here have made me feel welcome and respected, and turned that intimidation into excitement to grow my skills.

The facility is incredibly clean and has a ton of amenities including a cafe, clean restrooms and a shower, and a very well stocked strength and conditioning area (they have a lot of equipment that allows for adaptations to injury and mobility limitations to ensure anyone can still get a killer workout in).

The class schedule has a ton of options time wise, and being able to train both jiu jitsu and judo under one roof is an amazing value for the cost.

Overall I am highly impressed with their pricing, their team, and the gym itself, and I look forward to continuing to learn here. I recommend this gym to people of ANY skill level!

This is an awesome facility. The staff is friendly and professional, the place is kept very clean, and the culture is very communal and supportive with none of the toxic ego you get in some other places. The mats are really high quality and are kept spotless. The bathrooms are the nicest Iโ€™ve ever seen in a combat sports gym. Theyโ€™ve dedicated space to a pretty comprehensive weight lifting / functional fitness area too with nice modern equipment thatโ€™s in great shape. If youโ€™re thinking of checking it out, do it!

While the facilities speak for themselves, and they are great, I would like to share about my friend and CSA instructor Jeremiah...
I've trained in various martial arts throughout my life, with my tenure being in Muay Thai, 10+ years. Two years ago, due to age and injuries, I transitioned to BJJ. While my head coach is Paul Rodriguez at ATT, I've had the pleasure and honor of training and learning from Sensei Jeremiah.
Most, if not all, BJJ black belts have the knowledge to instruct you, but there are traints that needs to be present in an instructor/coach/sensei for you to enjoy and progress in this gentle/dangerous sport/art. I can attest that Jeremiah has all of them.
Sensei Jeremiah is a passionate, physically strong (a beast, really), technically (super) sound, knowledgeable, dedicated, observant, and student progress oriented coach. From personal experience I can tell you that I've spent hours both rolling and speaking, on the mats, with Sensei Jeremiah; both activities provided wealths of knowledge about the art, as well as about him.
Jeremiah has an eye for meeting you at your level, and pushing you a little bit past your level every time, in order to draw out improvement in you. He also will take the time, if you so choose, post/while training, to show you or speak to you about areas to improve and how.
BJJ is the only martial art i've ever experienced where you learn just as much after class, as you do during class. It is normal for coaches and students to stay after class, minutes or hours, discussing/practicing/correcting and I've personally experienced this with Sensei Jeremmiah.
I say all of that to say this....visit this school, train, and speak with the coaches. Whether you are traveling and visiting, are a local, or decide looking for a BJJ school, one thing I will guarantee you... you will be better, in some aspect of your persona, for having attended.

Dropped in for a class while visiting and had a good time. Everyone was friendly and the coach was very helpful. Its a cool spot, the owner has an insane amount of great weight lifting/strong man equipment too. Id definitely be a member here if I lived nearby.

Been coming for a few months and I must say this is the best mma gym Iโ€™ve been to. Most gyms charge you an arm and a leg just for a few jiu jitsu classes but here at CSA I pay a fair monthly fee and have unlimited classes, I stick to one striking and one jiu jitsu class a day but if you want you can do more than that. More than enough weights for you to work on your strength. A nice shower. Friendly staff and they have a kids program too and my son loves it. The coaches are awesome and super helpful. Iโ€™ve also made amazing friends in my classes. CSA CSA ๐Ÿ‘Š๐Ÿป

I visited CSA for jiu jitsu instruction while in Orlando this week and absolutely loved it. Welcoming, friendly instructors and students. Immaculate facility with a great range of equipment for strength training and conditioning. The jiu jitsu instruction is top-tier. The gym is still relatively new; the classes are small and incredibly effective, with a lot of personal attention for the time investment. I highly recommend checking out this gym, whether you live in Orlando or are just passing through. No matter your current level of experience, you will benefit from stopping by.

Very clean facility with a modern design, large mat space, and dedicated strength/conditioning areas with top tier equipment. The head instructors are both very knowledgable and helpful, with background in different martial arts in order to offer a very well rounded program. If you're in Orlando, this is the place to train. If you're in central Florida in general it's worth the drive.

My favorite place in town to train jiu jitsu / grappling in. I have trained in multiple world class facilities throughout the United States during my time in the military with some very high level fights and grapplers. The coaches and professors here are extremely knowledgeable and down to earth people. They provide a safe training environment and the people who train here treat each other like family. I highly recommend checking this place out if you're in the area!
