I had a horrible experience with this company. I registered for personal training sessions paid in advance. $1200. Used a total of four sessions stop coming for a while. When I came back. I wanted to use my personal training sessions, but Avery had marked them as completed, fraudulently TK, the personal training manager saw the record, and every day that the sessions were marked as completed I was not in the gym. There’s a total of $900 worth of training sessions that I wanted to utilize but could not. I requested a refund in August. It is currently November and no refund has been issued Lawrence Laura. The Regional manager is non-communicative. It should not take four months to be refund for an error that was made by the company.

I was recently a member at the riverview gym for about 2 years and can say I didn’t have the best experience there. I switched to brandon a couple weeks ago and so far I’ve gotten more in 3 weeks than I did at riverview. Jason one of the PT managers is amazing, he helped me with getting a trainer that would fit all my needs and showed actual determination in helping me enjoy my gym and PT experiences. Jayda has been my personal trainer for about 2 weeks now and she’s a great listener and understanding. Can’t wait to continue my journey with her. Will update in a month or so!

So I got a promotion for 6 days free. I go ahead and cancel saying that I don't want the service. They still went ahead and charged me that first month. That was $20. Then after that I get charged an annual fee for $70 and I call to tell him that I canceled 2 months ago and they still say that I'm still responsible to pay for another month of membership. So I'm still going to get charged another $20 for the next month to cancel a promotion of only 6 days that I went for free and I'm going to end up paying a total $110 crunch fitness is a scam

Extremely pushy sales people to the point of it being uncomfortable, and the promos they offer aren’t legit…I signed up for the recent $1 /30 day promo and discussed with a rep what that included in person at the gym the week before, got a welcome text (below), and then when another rep reached out to schedule the “kickoff” session, he explained to me that the t shirt and $150 voucher were not applicable to the promo there. Why’d it get advertised to me in person the night before signing up, and then told it was bs after the next day by someone else? Not a great start…

Usually really busy and they will spam call you for some reason. I was in a work meeting and I got a call back to back for a minute even after I declined calls several calls. I picked up to asked what they asked me about a class/training that they implied I attended but I've never done any of that so its extremely confusing on top of being annoying.

I have yet to share my experience at crunch , untill now that its been a year. I will say the staff are nice and the place is clean , multiple sets of equipment , rush hour is 5 to 7 so if you dont enjoy crowds . Then go earlier or later. Typically friday sat and Sunday are dead so def perfect time to go. The motivation the trainers give you is amazing. I dont remember his name but he made me feel good about the progress ive made over the past year. By far my fave gym and ive been to planet fitness and metroflex and just find crunch the best out of the rest.

I joined Crunch Fitness last week and initially selected the Hillsborough location as my home gym. Unfortunately, my first visit there felt underwhelming—no one acknowledged that I was a new member, and it felt like I was just another face in the crowd expected to know everything already.

Today, I visited the Brandon location in my neighborhood, and the experience was completely different. Ms. Natalia checked me in and immediately recognized that I was a new member. She warmly welcomed me, asked if I had spoken with anyone yet, and took the time to connect with me personally.

After my workout, she followed up as promised—she gave me a Crunch T-shirt, my member barcode, shared helpful information about the gym, and even set me up with a personal trainer.

I have been in 3 months in a row to cancel with Ben yet it still is a problem. I have been warned that they will send my account to collections however, the only option I have at this time was to close my bank account due to them continuing to charge me. I have followed all protocols as to close an account with them but, it keeps getting charged and their excuses are that it goes to the next months billing cycle. I have been told this 3 times now and still get charged. Do not get an account with them as it is impossible to cancel. I was also told it’s impossible to call HR to fix it. I have to rely on Ben and it’s not getting done.

Cancelling a membership here has been a nightmare. I admit I joined prematurely. I had started a new job in the area and figured I can go on my lunch break. Well that never happened as i was extremely busy , most days skipping lunch and never had time. I live 1.5 hours away so unless I was working, I would not be traveling to workout. I have since quit my job and cancelling has been a nightmare, they give you the run around, don’t answer calls or emails, it has been like 3 months and finally got someone to get back to me only to ask me to send a certified letter in. I have never dealt with such extremity. Such a waste of my hard earned money. But have no one to blame but myself I guess for not being smarter about my decision to join.

I’ve been a member at Crunch Brandon for a while now, but sadly, this location has really taken a turn for the worse lately. I’m there weekday mornings, and without fail, the men’s locker room is in terrible condition. The showers are consistently filthy, and it’s rare to find soap in the dispensers — that’s if the shower even has a dispenser at all.

It’s clear there’s a serious management issue here. I also use the Crunch in Winter Garden on weekends, and the difference is night and day. The Winter Garden location is clean, well-maintained, and clearly well-managed. Unfortunately, the Brandon location just doesn’t compare.

One thing that really stands out — they seem happy to reply to positive reviews, but the negative feedback goes ignored. That says a lot about how much they actually care about addressing problems.

It’s a shame because the location is convenient for my commute, but I’m now looking for a new gym. I truly hope there’s a change in management at this location — they need it. I couldn’t even tell you who the manager is, and that in itself is telling.

I wish I had something better to say, but I wouldn’t recommend this gym, and I definitely wouldn’t bring a guest here. Good luck.

When I visited Crunch Fitness to change my membership, I was met with incredibly rude and unprofessional service. The sales associate I spoke with dismissed me immediately and told me I couldn’t make any changes to my membership—without offering any explanation or help. The entire staff seemed uninterested and had a bad attitude, making the whole experience frustrating and disappointing. It’s clear that customer service is not a priority at this location.

Bad business practices. Unbeknownst to me, last January I noticed that I had been being over charged for years. I would have not noticed had they not assessed a new processing fee without the consent of any of their clients. I mailed them a letter with bank statements going back 3 years and they would not issue my refund nor respond. I am so happy that I canceled Crunch. They have bad customer service and no one can help with anything.
