Omg what a gym the facility is very clean and the equipment is so up to date. I personally don’t have much experience working out but the employees have been so helpful and would interact with me and explain how to do things and really help me get better. their is an employee called hanaysa she’s so kind and nice she works the front desk and is the kindest and most helpful person there.

I’ve been a member here for 5 years (before the change to crunch obviously), and the overall staff attitude has become disappointing. Most employees don’t seem particularly interested in helping members or creating a welcoming environment. Too often the focus feels like it’s on getting good reviews, social-media likes and talking to the female co workers rather than genuine service. For example, one staff member approached my friend, only asked his name, and immediately asked him to like his posts and leave a review; no real conversation or hospitality. I find that very rude.
When my friend asked the general manager (Alex) for help with a machine that wasn’t working properly, Alex quickly dismissed him, said he was using it wrong, and didn’t bother to check or offer any real assistance.
This is just one example of how he is and I promise many others can attest to how he is.
On another occasion, after I’d already been working out for an hour, been a member for a whole I went to buy an energy drink and was asked if I even had a membership here. Small thing, but it’s symptomatic of how little attention or care most of the staff show.
The equipment is fine and the price is reasonable; it’s a typical commercial gym in that sense. But the lack of basic helpfulness and hospitality from the majority of the staff (including management) drags the whole experience down. It’s a shame because it didn’t used to feel this way.

I’ve spent more than 3k on crunch gym so far never have I ever had such a terrible experience. Absolutely horrible customer service, specially Alexander Lee graciani. Was extremely rude, and unprofessional. In fact he made up fake rules, in order to not allow me to work out because he felt offended by my words. Should be fried immediately.

Today I had the worst experience with a gym employee; his name is Alex. I know there are rules, and I'm familiar with them, but my 15-year-old son forgot his ID and they were extremely inflexible with us. That is not the way to handle the situation, and he didn’t offer me any alternative. My wife, my mother, and I are all members, and in a moment of frustration I told him that I was going to cancel my membership. His response was a big smile, as if that were something positive to him. I repeat that I know the rules, and I know I made a mistake, but this man Alex is not a good representative. I’m a business owner and I have companies where customer service is key, and this is not the way to treat people. I felt humiliated by this person.

1 Star – Extremely Disappointed and Misled
Crunch Fitness in Doral has been one of the worst gym experiences I’ve ever had. The bathrooms are consistently dirty, the sauna has been broken since we joined, and the gym is packed at all hours. Many of the machines are out of service, creating long wait times and making workouts frustrating and almost impossible.
What makes this even worse is that my wife and I were completely misled during sign-up. We were told we had no contract and could cancel anytime. That turned out to be false. We later found out we were locked into a three-month contract and also forced to pay a yearly fee—something we were never told upfront.
We gave the gym three weeks, hoping we would adapt, but the vulgar music, the overcrowded environment, the constant broken equipment, and the lack of cleanliness made it clear this was not the place for us. When I tried to speak to the manager, he was rude, unhelpful, and showed zero sympathy for the situation.
Now we’re stuck paying for months of a gym we will never step foot in again.
I would not recommend Crunch Doral to anyone.

I was excited to visit Crunch Doral while in Miami, since I live in South Carolina, but the front desk experience was unacceptable. The employee wearing the “Alex / No Sabo King” name tag was joking around with coworkers despite a line of members waiting, and when I asked a simple question about my account, he was dismissive and offered no help.
After seeing the many public reviews describing the same hostility and unprofessional behavior from him, it’s clear this is an ongoing issue — not an isolated one. Crunch has already responded to past complaints saying they’d look into his conduct, yet nothing has changed. At this point, it reflects a leadership and oversight problem.
The only positive part of my visit was Michael, who was professional, attentive, and actually explained the situation respectfully. Crunch Doral needs more employees like him, and senior management needs to take stronger action if they want to protect the brand and their members.
Another amazing customer cancelling because of the general manager of the doral crunch location.

Crunch started charging my card even though I never signed up for a membership with them. My 24 Hour Fitness membership was transferred without my permission, and the club kept billing me—even after cancellation.
The staff were dismissive, rude, and completely unhelpful.
Unauthorized charges + awful customer service = stay away.

Stay away. My son has been trying to cancel the month to month membership for 3 months and he is still getting charged. I was at the facility located in Doral as a guest for the day. They required I leave my drivers license with them while I worked out. Had no problem with that. I walked out and forgot to get my license back . I did not realize I had forgotten it till late last night. I am already out of the area heading back to central Florida. They will not mail my license to me only said I could get it next time I’m back. This was very poor customer service. I would not recommend this gym to anyone after that experience. Now I risk my license being tampered with or stolen because of their refusal to mail it to me. Stay away from this facility. They have not been cooperative at all helping me with this issue.

Not a bad gym. Has potential to be much better. Much of the equipment is left over from the 24hr Fitness that Crunch replaced at that location. The "Hoist" equipment in particular acquired from 24hr Fitness needs to be replaced as that equipment uses your own body resistance and is quite awkward in movement.
Another issue is the fact that dumbbells and weights are scattered about in the gym. Common in gyms that don't enforce proper gym etiquette rules thereby "allowing" members to not return weights.
An okay gym, but with only having one gym in the Miami area, they are competing against YouFit and others that have many more locations for the same price.
Please, step it up Crunch! Would not want to see this gym follow in the footsteps of the 24hr Fitness it replaced at that location.

Place is atrocious I went to 24 hour canceled my membership over a year ago and now crunch fitness has taken over and decided to start charging me and won’t let me cancel until I pay them?!?!?! It’s the worst costumer service ever! I fainted tonight at the right side from the front desk after my workout, there were at the front desk three guys and they didn’t move a finger to help me. To hire people to work a service area you have to get human and nice people. I got the worst moment in my life, expected at least to have someone to get close to me and ask me what’s going on, they remained idle like ice. Planning to withdraw my membership. The bathrooms were filthy, the ceiling fans were out of service, and three TV screens weren’t working, and three ellipticals were out of order. The place was overcrowded and extremely hot. Then Alex, the general manager—as he introduced himself—offered nothing but excuses for each issue. He didn’t even seem surprised by the disgusting state of the bathrooms, which made me think this is a recurring problem. Honestly, I’m considering switching gyms. Ever since the change from 24 Hour Fitness to Crunch, the place has gone downhill.

Al inscribirme a este gimnasio pregunté que pasaba si cancelaba y me retiraba en los primeros días la suscripción, me dijeron que pagaba solo los 3 meses, mi sorpresa fue que decidí retirarme y me cobraron los 3 meses (que estaba bien porque me lo habían dicho) pero también me cobraron la anualidad, me parece un gran abuso porque eso no fue lo que me dijeron, me siento estafado y engañado, no les recomiendo este lugar no son nada honestos, no firmen nada sin estar seguro son una empresa que engaña a sus clientes.
When I signed up for this gym, I asked what would happen if I canceled and withdrew within the first few days of the subscription. They told me I would only have to pay for the 3 months. To my surprise, when I decided to leave, they charged me for the 3 months (which was fine because that’s what they had said), but they also charged me the annual fee. I think this is a huge abuse because that’s not what they told me. I feel scammed and deceived. I do not recommend this place — they are not honest at all. Don’t sign anything unless you’re completely sure; this is a company that deceives its customers.

The gym is clean and well maintained. There’s plenty of cardio machines and free weights. The gym is relatively open in the early morning, which means that you don’t have to wait very long, if at all, to use any equipment. The staff is helpful and responsive.

Mi hija al momento de tomar la membresía el empleado GERONIMO (estando presente el padre y representante de ella) le señaló que podía traer invitados con el pago de la membresía más costosa, invitados de cualquier edad, preguntando mi hija expresamente si los invitados eran menores podía ingresarlos, a lo que Geronimo respondió que SI.
Luego de manera arbitraria CANCELÓ la membresía de mi hija solo por que ingresó una amiga menor de edad al gimnasio. Señalando él que ahora cambió la política y que menores invitados no podían ingresar. Cuando fuimos a reclamar, este empleado me dice que le había dado un warning y que con dos de estos el tenía derecho a cancelar el contrato. Me pregunto yo si en un solo día por un solo hecho puede (a pesar de el mismo haber señalado que podían traer invitados de 16 años) levantar dos faltas? Afortunadamente una empleada nos ayudó y resolvió el problema, teniendo que volver a inscribir a mi hija, el gimnasio debería vigilar más de cerca el trato a sus socios y no aprovecharse de los jóvenes socios, entiendo que pudo cometer una falta mi hija pero es ilegal por un solo hecho levantar dos sanciones.

The gym has good equipment overall. There is a nice mix of machines and some newer, more advanced ones. It does get very busy, but that’s expected with a place that has solid workout options.
Unfortunately, the facility upkeep really brings the experience down. Several of the StairMasters are rusted and make grinding vibrations when in use.
The bathrooms need serious attention. There was menstrual blood on the floor that went uncleaned (2 days in a row currently), and last week the soap dispensers were empty for two days. GROSS! I’ve seen janitorial staff once, and it didn’t look like a deep clean. Sometimes the soap is mixed with hand sanitizer.
Due to the nature of the soap issue & the cleanliness of the bathroom, it is concerning that many members walk around with only socks and put their feet all over the equipment. It is hard to feel confident that the gym overall is being cleaned properly.
This could easily be a great gym but right now, hygiene and equipment upkeep are major issues.

I just wanted to let you guys know that it’s the second time in a short time frame that the Doral Crunch Gym does not open at 5am, keeping people waiting for a long time before it does. Today I was until 5.35am and no one showed up to open the doors. What is happening ?
Some of us are only able to attend very early in the morning and this type of situation is not acceptable.

I joined this gym because its on my say back from work. This gym feels like a bit of a mistake to me. The employees are pretty much useless, I’ve tried to cancel but
every time i try to no one can help me at all. People absolutely hog the plates in the chest area and one time a bench had NO WEIGHTS AT ALL. Don’t get me started on the broccoli headed kids that go here to pack 5 of them at the same time. The bathrooms are never clean and the gym feels incomplete. This gym was better when it was a 24 hour fitness. Im actually very nervous to cancel it because of all the reviews.

4 months after my firat review. People still leave things everywhere and staff seems not to care. Music is ridiculously (uncomfortably) LOUD!! Not even with noise canceling headphones you can block it. Is stressing and youd be addressed promptly. This is one star is for this location. I've brrn in other ones and they are excellent!! Is not the remldeling, is the incredible loud reaggeton music played. What is the point of not being able to listen what your workout partner says or tour own music. People leave equipment everywhere, they don't put thi gs back where they took them. Garbage, disppsable water bottles, paper towels, etc. Everywhere. Please educate your clients and be respectful of other people personal time and lower the music.

The Front Desk worker Alex has a terrible attitude and even more an awful person. Took my 14yr old brother to the gym with his id and he told me I would have to make my parent purchase a membership to bring him to the gym. When i’m his legal guardian as his older brother he lives with me. He was out of place and who is he to question that. I hope you guys handle it because I had the highest membership just for him to ban me because of his willingness to not understand the situation.

Great machines, staff super friendly but the music is obnoxiously loud. I use canceling headphones and have to destroy my ears to hear my music and it is still not enough. I’ve tried speaking about it before and was told corporate told them to keep it loud, pretty annoying and I’ve heard other people complain about it as well.

I posted a review of Crunch-Doral a few months ago when the 24-Hour Fitness takeover was going on. The review I gave back then was filled with complaints about the whole transition, the change in hours of operation, old equipment resulting in years of neglect, and a very sloppy atmosphere in the old gym. So, after a few months of my own personal protest of not using the Doral location, I decided to go ahead for one last time and see what changed. Let me first start by saying, Crunch Fitness-Doral YOU’VE NAILED IT! This place has done a 180-degree turnaround. The new setup is filled with a great workout atmosphere filled with new machines, new dumbbell racks, new benches and many other upgrades. The layout is so much better than the old configuration. The gym has also gone back to operating 24 hours four or five days a week, something that I was pleasantly surprised to see. I was so impressed with the improvements and change of hours that I renewed my membership which was about to expire this week. That was something I was not going to do until I saw the great changes. The new owners / management has done an outstanding job! Thank you for the job well done. Please keep up the great work.
So the 24 Hour Fitness is now Crunch. Apparently this gym is no longer 24 hours, it would have been nice if the new management/owners let their loyal members know and saved me the trip of showing up this morning at 3:30 am. Although I’m certainly not surprised. It’s too bad, that was one of their strongest selling points for me. This place really has been going downhill. Hopefully moving forward it will be taken care of much better and finding a pair of the same dumbbells won’t be the equivalent of a scavenger hunt around the facility. Also, a lot of the machines are dated and really run down. Should have addressed that issue a few years ago. I’d like to give this place two thumbs down instead of two stars.

Very bad experience with this gym. They charged me on September 11, and when I went to cancel my membership on September 17, they forced me to pay for the month of October even though I will not use it, since I am moving far away and there are no locations of this company near my new home. What’s unfair is that I had to pay for a full month just to be able to use the gym this November, a service I will not use at all. On top of that, the person who attended me during the cancellation had terrible customer service and was extremely rude. This is abusive and very inconsiderate toward customers. I do not recommend this gym.

This place was ruined when they switched from 24 Hour Fitness. They don’t honor contracts from the old gym and the gym itself is now packed at all hours. Good luck trying to cancel as they make it as difficult as they possibly can and then make you pay for an extra month because of their “30 day notice”. They also input my email wrong and despite me correcting it at the front desk three times, I have never received a copy of my membership agreement. Do yourself a favor and go to LA Fitness down the street.

I went to Crunch Fitness with a day pass because I wanted to try the gym out before committing to a membership. When I arrived, the person at the front desk (who said he was the manager) wouldn’t let us in because my brother forgot his license. I offered to provide other forms of identification, but he refused to even consider it. Instead, he told us the only option was to purchase a membership on the spot or we couldn’t get in at all. That completely defeats the purpose of a trial pass.
This experience left a really bad impression. Instead of being welcoming or flexible, the staff came across pushy and unprofessional. I’ll be going to EOS instead — I’m sure their service and overall gym environment will be much better than this.

I am extremely upset and disappointed with my experience at Crunch Gym and with Sophia Estrada. Without my consent, my signature was forged on a personal training contract that I never agreed to. I never signed any paperwork or authorized any training sessions, yet money was withdrawn from my account.
When I went in person to question this fraudulent transaction, Sophia Estrada would not even face me or address my concerns directly. This lack of accountability and professionalism is unacceptable. I trusted this gym with my personal and financial information, and that trust has been completely broken.
I am warning others to be very cautious before providing any personal or payment information to this location. This experience has been nothing short of dishonest and unethical.

I went in person to cancel my membership and was assured it would be taken care of. I specifically asked to speak with a supervisor regarding the delayed $80+ initiation fee tied to the “$1 enrollment” deal. No one ever followed up.
Despite canceling in person, I was still charged afterward. I’ve since called multiple times, asked again to speak with a supervisor, and was told I’d receive a virtual cancellation form (which I never got)
The level of incompetence and lack of customer service is honestly unbelievable. It shouldn’t be this hard to get a response or resolve a simple cancellation. Extremely disappointed. Try hiring a competent supervisor please.
UPDATE: This story gets funnier. I’ve had to resort to disputing these charges with my credit card company. A supervisor has yet to contact me, despite multiple requests over two months. Crunch has just charged me a THIRD time, seemingly trying to take the money back while the first two charges are still ACTIVELY under dispute. This is beyond negligent and it feels like FRAUD.

Sadly the sauna is for both men and women and it’s tiny. So it’s not a comfortable environment. The gym itself is spacious and not overcrowded. It’s got great fans but not all of them

I’ve given this gym more than enough chances, but it’s been nothing but a disappointment. The staff is consistently rude and unhelpful, and management has a terrible attitude. Any concerns brought up are brushed off or completely dismissed – it’s clear they don’t care about the clients at all.
The gym is extremely dirty. They keep promising to clean the sauna, but weeks have gone by and nothing has changed. It’s honestly gross. Half of the cardio machines are broken or “under maintenance,” and they’ve been that way for what feels like forever.
They recently changed the name of the gym because it was bought out and claimed they’d be making a bunch of improvements. So far, the only “upgrade” is a fresh coat of paint. That’s it. No meaningful updates, no improvements to the equipment, and no effort to make the place better.
Save yourself the frustration and go somewhere else. This place is all talk, no action, and zero accountability. Also, did I mention the managers are RUDE & IGNORANT!! Never had issues with anyone when it was 24 hour fitness.

The gym equipment is getting better but there's still machines not working. They block off the front and in case of an emergency this is not going to go well which should be a safety violation. The cycling bikes were moved to a room accessible only for classes and even when there's no classes nobody can use them. The bikes they have outside (5), one doesn't even have a sit, another one is broken and the other three are old and don't even function well. One of my friends had an issue with cancellations and over charging the annual fee after the trial period, that shows incompetence and might be considered theft or fraud.

The way it works is if, the steam room is not on. The whirlpool doesn’t get hot because they both share the same heat pump.

This gym used to be my favorite place to work out at for at least 10 years. My overall health had Improved drastically for always going consistently.
However when they got bought out they changed their hours of operations and the gym no longer suited my schedule. I had to unfortunately go elsewhere to find another gym that was open 24 hours 7 days a week.
I watched many of my peers at the gym also quit the gym for the same reason.
I wish this location will again become 24 hours 7 days a week.

There’s a noticeable lack of warmth or engagement compared to what I experienced at 24 Hour Fitness. The only exceptions have been Oscar and Jonathan (legacy staff), who remain professional, kind, and approachable.
Unfortunately, the rest of the staff only seem to engage when promoting their social media or pushing business-to-business promos. Beyond that, the energy is cold at best.

This is by far the most disappointing change. Acquiring a 24/7 gym only to scale back to 5AM–11PM weekdays and 7AM–7PM weekends feels like a bait-and-switch. The flexibility I once relied on—especially during weekends—is now gone. It’s frustrating and completely counterintuitive for a facility that once operated around the clock.

While the $1.5M “transformation” sounds impressive, a large portion of the older equipment from 24 Hour Fitness remains—and so do the same issues. I’m still under a legacy membership, but when I inquired about new offers, I learned I had been overpaying under the previous structure. I was told I could save money by switching to the premium package—but only if I provided my checking account and routing number.
I don’t feel comfortable handing over that level of sensitive information, especially since I already pay via credit card. For a modern gym, this feels unnecessarily invasive and outdated.

6. Trainers & Coaches: ⭐ (1 Star)
This is where things take a sharp turn.
I’ve had multiple encounters with trainers who simply do not respect personal space, basic etiquette, or timing. On more than one occasion, I’ve been mid-stretch or mid-rep only to have a trainer—either off-duty or on the clock—wave their hands in my face to get my attention or ask if I’m using a piece of equipment.
The expectation seems to be: “Stop what you’re doing to accommodate me.”
It’s not an emergency. It’s not the last machine. It’s just impatience and lack of professionalism.
When I politely noted to one trainer that I was mid-set and couldn’t respond immediately, I was met with rude sarcasm: “Good for you,” he muttered as he walked away.
But what’s worse is what happens after these encounters:
Certain staff members will gather with other trainers and clearly discuss the situation—glancing over, giggling, or giving side-eyes while continuing to work with clients.
It’s passive-aggressive, it’s cliquish, and it makes members feel judged and uncomfortable. This is a gym, not a high school lunch table.
I’ve also witnessed trainers taking over multiple machines at once for their clients or hovering way too close to other members mid-workout, as if coaching status overrides basic decency.
If this is how trainers are encouraged—or even allowed—to treat paying members, it’s a major red flag for the overall culture.
Final Thoughts:
There’s potential here—but it’s being overshadowed by poor staff training, inconsistent etiquette, and an entitled, dismissive culture.
Clean floors and fancy equipment don’t matter if you don’t feel respected, safe, or welcome.
This isn’t about being picky—it’s about being treated like a paying customer who deserves basic courtesy. I hope management takes this to heart. I truly want this gym to succeed, but that won’t happen until they fix what’s going on beneath the surface.

I had a really disappointing experience at this gym. Yesterday, I came in as a guest with my 20-year-old boyfriend and had no issues working out. Everything went smoothly. But when I came back today, I was told I’m not allowed to work out because I’m 17.
The policy clearly states that guests can be 17 as long as they are accompanied by someone 18 or older — which my boyfriend is. However, the manager, Alex, insisted I still couldn’t work out simply because it was “his rule.” He told me it doesn’t matter what the paper says, because he decides. That’s honestly ridiculous and completely unfair.
If the gym has written policies, they should be followed not overridden by one person’s opinion. I felt singled out and disrespected for no good reason. This experience left a really bad impression, and I won’t be recommending this place to anyone unless they fix their attitude and actually follow their own rules.

Alex Unprofessional Manager
I’ve had a really frustrating experience with the management at Crunch Fitness in Doral, specifically with a manager named Alex. He was extremely unprofessional and didn’t seem to have a clear understanding of the gym’s own policies. I was told I could bring a guest, but now I’m suddenly not allowed because I’m under 21 — something that was never clearly explained before. The inconsistency and lack of communication are unacceptable. If you’re thinking about joining, be prepared for confusing rules and poor management.

Estoy bastante disgustado con la atención que se me dio al momento de cambio de empresa. Yo personalmente entiendo que ya no sean 24 hours fitness, pero ni ellos mismo dan una ruta para conectar y solucionar el problema de mi membresía... Vas y se lavan las manos diciendo que ellos no tienen responsabilidad por comprar el sitio... Y yo como cliente menos debo tener por confiar y pagar una membresía por un año. Envíe correos, llame, fuí en persona... Nada funciona... Básicamente me robaron mi dinero.
