I've been training for about 15 years and have been to lots of gyms. I have a membership to two different gym chains, Crunch, and another one. Having just moved here, this Crunch is closest to where I live and I wanted to get my daughter a membership but this one didn't have the greatest rating. But being in the fitness business for a long time I decided to see for myself. What I actually found was a beautiful, well-kept gym and most importantly was a new sales manager who was incredibly nice, listened to what I needed, and didn't try to sell me something I didn't need. He was up-front about the costs, membership fees, cancellation fees, and didn't try to *not be truthful* in order to get me to buy - so thank you Tyler. I've read many of the reviews, but for me, I don't expect everyone to put away weights, or that equipment should never break, or that the staff should always be so happy to see me! What I do expect is staff kindness, honesty, and a gym that's kept up and so far, this one does that.

I wish I had read the reviews before signing up for Crunch Fitness Greenacres — because every single one of them turned out to be true.
After joining, I immediately felt unsafe in the facility due to overcrowding and behavior that made me uncomfortable. I called the gym the same week I joined to explain this and ask to cancel, but I was told I had to come in person — which made no sense given my safety concern. I followed up in writing (as required under Florida law) to cancel, but Crunch kept charging me for months after my written notice.
When I contacted management, I was told that I couldn’t cancel because of a “90-day agreement” and that Florida’s cancellation law only applies for three days after signup — which is completely false. I was also told that an area supervisor would call me within 48 hours to resolve the issue — that was over two weeks ago, and no one has called.
It’s clear from the other reviews that this is a pattern — people being misled, overcharged, and ignored when they try to cancel. This business operates unethically and takes advantage of its members.
If you’re considering joining Crunch Greenacres, please read the reviews first. They are not exaggerations — they’re warnings.

I’m extremely disappointed with Crunch Fitness Greenacres. I was talked into putting my account on freeze by my personal trainer instead of canceling it. I was in the process of closing on my home and didn’t want any extra charges, but she assured me that freezing it was the best option and that I could easily cancel later if needed — no problem.
Now that I’m trying to cancel, I’m being told I have to pay $204 just to end my membership. That’s outrageous and completely misleading. If I had been told the truth upfront, I never would’ve agreed to the freeze. It feels like I was manipulated into a decision that benefited the gym, not me.
This kind of shady, dishonest practice is unacceptable. Members deserve transparency — not being tricked with half-truths just to keep an account on file. I’ll be warning others to be very careful with Crunch Fitness Greenacres because what they tell you and what they actually do are two completely different things.

Came in looking to get a tour about a month ago and someone at the front desk made me sign a waiver before he could show me the equipment. I told him I only had enough time to be shown the gym and not get a free workout in. Employee said that was perfectly fine and I could come back and get a free workout by signing up online. So I come back to get my free workout and sign up online. Employees at the desk tell me I can’t get my free workout because once you sign a waiver it takes away your free try. Instead they tried to sell me a one day pass for 15 bucks I immediately walked out when I heard that! Crunch you really should watch what your employees and what they say because that’s just false info. THANK GOD there’s such a place like EoS where I gladly just signed up. Not because of the more amenities they offer but mainly because the time and honesty their employees gave me. They were very inviting unlike Crunch. If I could give this crunch a zero star I would!

I could give the zero stars I would. They are extremely predatory as a business, I have had other gym memberships that always put you through the same annoying hassle of having to go in person to cancel. Never had an issue. I went in person and cancelled and they continued to charge me for 3 more months. I contacted them and then they played dumb, they have records of all my check ins and I even signed but they acted like they did not and told me to come in again to cancel. I have already contacted my bank but this is fraud at this point. They also ghosted me when I explained to them I already went in person never bothered to say anything else or correct the issue. Don't trust this business with your money they will steal from you for as long as they can.

I’ve canceled my account 5 times an now I’m being told another account was opened when I called to cancel what happen was I was given a pass to use the gym with a friend an signed papers thinking it was for the day an I was never told I have 3 days to cancel a membership I had no clue I signed up for since I was only going for the day with my friend keep in mind I’m only 20 years old and have never had any kind of membership the customer service an manager failed to help close my account I never knew I signed up for an here we are a year later still trying to close the account if you go back in the reviews you can see my prior review as when the account was closed the GM failed to call with a response to why my account was not closed this has now affected my credit
Funny how I just now got a response almost a year later and it says it’s from the owner and to go by the club and speak with a manager or call I have done that several times and they don’t help they just say they have closed the account and then open a new account and continue to bill me what a joke the owner doesn’t even have a clue what’s going on lol
I suggest nobody to open a membership at this club

Rude staff . They have been rude to my guest twice . One staff made up a rule when my guest arrived and wouldn’t let her in because I arrived before her . Another time , I was given a pass for a guest and when I tried to use it she was turned away . I can’t wait for my contract to end . Customer service is continuously awful, and Im ready to take my business elsewhere. They don’t show you these rules in writing, it feels like they make them up as they go . Im sure they could work something out for customer satisfaction but there is no compassion or consideration for peoples time. Btw my guest were ready to sign up both times had they been treated with courtesy .

I had a great experience with Crunch. I went in to cancel my membership, and they made it very quick and easy. First i had to pay $120 to cancel. Whatever. Then they said I had to pull the fire alarm to cancel my membership. Whatever no problem. Then for the final step, I had to call 911 on myself and then fight with the police to cancel my membership. So after fighting with 4 cops they finally canceled my membership. Thank you Crunch for making canceling membership so easy and fun!

I came into the Greenacres Crunch around 5:30 PM on 10/7/25 and had an unpleasant interaction with one of the newer staff members or trainers. Her name sounded like “Tarisa” or “Tharissa.” When I asked her to spell her name so I could leave feedback, she said, “I don’t have to spell my name,” and said it with an attitude. The tone was rude and unprofessional completely unnecessary. I wasn’t trying to argue, I was just trying to give honest feedback. For someone who’s new to the team, that’s not a good first impression at all. As a paying member, I expect a certain level of professionalism from staff, and this situation didn’t reflect that.

This gym is a joke, with a lot of 'out of order' equipment, ripped benches, a water station that's out of order, and now many machines are missing the stick that holds the weight, so nobody can use them. I mentioned the missing stick for the weight at the front desk and the answer was: 'We don't have any.' Really? What am I paying for? I'll hold on a bit longer because I like the convenience location that is between my home and work - but if nothing gets better, I'll need to go gym shopping again and cancel my membership at Crunch.

So I’ve been going to the Wellington Crunch fitness for a few months now and it’s been nice but it’s slightly further from my home than Greenacres location. When I initially looked the reviews for Wellington were 4.5/5 and greenacres 3.5/5 so I went to the Wellington location for that reason. I decided to try greenacres out to see how the gym
was. First glance it looks a little nicer and newer than Wellington but I learned quickly why the ratings were 3.5/5. All the dumbbells are Mismatched and out of order. Management couldn’t even set them up correctly, they are set up out of order. It goes from 10 12.5 15 60 70 80 etc… it’s a mess. No wonder no one puts the weights back in the right spot. It reminded me of a crappy LA fitness. There are numerous machines missing the pins to set the weights, the water bottle filler doesn’t and water fountain wasn’t working and there are random dumbbells spread out all over the gym. Huge difference from the Wellington location to Greenacres.

I recently visited this gym to conduct business matter with Yvonne Flores, and unfortunately, the experience was far from professional or courteous. Her attitude was poor, and she came across as disgruntled, which is not the level of excellence I would expect from this company. If she is indeed a manager, and this is the standard being set, it reflects very poorly on the organization and the culture of excellence they are attempting to promote.

Me and my husband booked our memberships in person. The sales rep told us lies that massage room and sauna were included in our membership. But then when we actually went there the manager told us that those perks actually aren't included. Would not recommend this gym to anyone.

I’ve been going here for about 2 years and had never been approached by a trainer. One day my husband and I walked in and were welcomed by a trainer named Miguel.
Miguel offered helpful tips not expecting anything in return. For this reason I signed up to train with him. When I’m not training with Miguel I see him being helpful to everyone. This is service with excellence.

I've been a member of this gym for 4 years. Contrary to some reviews stating that this gym is small or over crowded, 1 of the things that I like about it is that it is very large and seldom too crowded to find a machine to workout on. The local management could do a much better job and the equipment maintenance is terrible. Their repair techs are constantly changing and frequently I don't see any. Today they had 2, I spoke to the one named Thomas and explained that I have reported broken equipment sometimes multiple times and sometimes more than 6 months ago and still broke. I offered to show him what was broke but be blew me off & told me to talk to the front desk even after I told him that I did to no avail. It has been warm in the gym, the ceiling fans haven't been on for weeks so I asked at the front desk. The woman said that the fire dept was working on the fire alarm & told them to leave off. Really ?! - the fire department works on equipment at a private business?
They claim that the basic price is $9.99/mo + tax but effective 1/1/2025 they started charging ~$3/month without any notification for a "payment processing fee" even when using an ACH for an electronic payt from a checking account.

It makes me wonder about the legal capacity the small gym can hold and what happens in case of an emergency. It also makes me wonder if they plan on expanding the small gym or does the line waiting to use the ONE working Smith machine go from 5 people to 10?
Lastly, they have strict rules on when you can use their restrooms, if you happen to need it during the times they decide it's closed, they advise you to go solicit the business next to theirs. So be weary.
Update:
The pedals on their exercise bikes have been broken since about May, a few members have reported that the staff stated in August they were going to get them fixed…..we are in September now and they are still as broken as they were in May.
I wonder why it takes over 5 months to fix a simple problem?

This is the worst managed Crunch Fitness that I have ever been to. If I could give it a Zero I would. I have repeatedly complained to the manager and have voiced my concerns on the Survey they send. Nothing ever changes. You can never find a set of dumbells as they are scattered all over the gym. I go in at 5AM when they open and the dumbell rack is half emply and 80% of the dumbells on the rack are in the wrong spot. The fixed barbells problably have about 4 of the 20 or so on the barbell rack. The cable pulleys stations have maybe 8 of 20 hooks on them. There has been a shower stall in the mens locker room that has needed a shower curtain for over 6 months now. The manager at this gym should be embarassed as this is a reflection of their inability to manage anything. They do not hold anyone accountable for doing their job. The gym should be straighted up every night by the night crew before they leave.This manager needs to be trained by the manager of the Hypoluxo Rd Crunch Fitness as to how a gym should be managed.

I’ve been a Crunch member for several years, but I only started coming to this location around April of this year. Since then, I’ve had more unprofessional encounters here than at any other Crunch gym.
The last one was so ridiculous I had to leave this review. In the middle of my workout, an employee came up to me and said I was “needed at the front desk.” I asked, “Right now?” and he said “Yes.”
So I stop my workout, walk to the front desk, and what was so urgent? Billing. My membership had expired and they needed updated payment info. Instead of handling it before or after my workout, they yanked me away mid workout like it was some kind of emergency.
Imagine paying for a gym membership, showing up to focus on your workout, and being treated like an inconvenience because of a credit card update. That’s the level of “professionalism” this location thinks is acceptable.
I’ve been with Crunch long enough to know the brand can be better than this but this location is an embarrassment. Corporate needs to step in, because until management changes, this place will keep driving members away.

Have been a member since they’ve open the gym at this location, my bill was a little over a week past due because of financial hardship .I informed the manager I could pay it by the end of it his week but the manager at the front desk told me I still couldn’t work out for the day.
Maybe it’s just me but I think loyal customers who’ve been members for years deserve a little bit of grace.
I’ve been a member for years, I have no intention on stiffing them on the bill.
It’s rare I leave bad reviews because I understand people or businesses have off days but this hits home because people who work at a gym understand how important a workout is to people’s mental health and sanity, especially a gym manager who has the authority to help.

If you want to get scammed by the cancellation policy and pay twice the monthly rate to cancel, then go ahead and sign up! Thanks to the useless customer service by the Manager Daniel and employee Mo, we constantly get told different information which is convenient to lock you into another month.
We came in at 86 days with the membership, got told we need to come in after the billing cycle starts, we do that and we are told unless we came in on the day the billing cycle starts to cancel you have to pay the very next month. I came to cancel and I walked out having to commit to the next two months of payments. They are ridiculous and useless. Go ahead sign up and get scammed, they also refused to give us contact information for the corporate offices.

Really disappointed with Crunch in Greenacres. Me and two friends got day passes through a promotion they were advertising. When we showed up, they told us they weren’t honoring the passes anymore because of some discount they were running for their membership's which made absolutely no sense. Why promote free day passes if you’re not going to let people in?
We even spoke to another person who I’m guessing was a manager and explained that we were genuinely interested in signing up for memberships, but just wanted to try the gym first. He was completely unhelpful and didn’t care at all. No customer service, no effort to make it right. Honestly, this experience turned us off from joining.

Do not recommend this location! I went in person to have them change my home location. The workers tried to convince me this was a good location and to just try it once so I did. I walked around the place and it was very dirty, dusty, dark, and unorganized which I don’t appreciate when I’m paying to be somewhere. So needless to say after all that passive aggressive convincing I still decided to switch. I went back to the front desk and told them I’d still like to switch. The worker who tried convincing me told me that they’d already switched it and it’d be effective immediately. I went to today to the new location and they told me that the other location never even put in an application for me. So they basically lied straight to my face. After reading other reviews I can see that they do that to many people. Highly don’t reccomend this location if you live near try lake worth location it’s a drive for me but so worth it. The customer service there was so much better and it’s clean, spacious, bright, organized, and more modern even though Greenacres has allegedly.. had “renovations”. Don’t recommend I find it really disrespectful to be lied to my face just for a sale. Tour lake worth and you’ll never want to go here lol. Don’t lie to your customers face and maybe it’ll help you make more sales.

I’ve been to hundreds of gyms and never had such a poor taste in my mouth as I did from crunch fitness greenacres. Employees are very pushy, scammy, and dishonest. They did not honor the corporate 3 day free trial that they signed me up for. Told me I had to join today or go home without working out even though they invited me to workout for free. I would never join after that extremely poor customer service. Weight racks are in complete disarray, sauna has paneling falling off. Lockers had loose screws falling out of lockers. All cable pulley straps and handles are damaged and tattered or missing entirely. Properly rated carabiners are missing and replaces with non-rated “keychain” carabiners. Place is a danger to patrons, over priced, and cleanliness is poor. Would recommend all of the competitors over Crunch Fitness Greenacres.

I have two different gym membership, I decided to give crunch a try but soon found out that it’s not a good gym & always crowded. I’m stuck in a membership that I only used twice because I had to wait three months. After the three months , every-time I go to cancel the membership they always trying to prevent me from canceling. I paid the annual fee & the three months now I’m being told that I have to pay a 4th monthly payment to cancel the membership because I wait 6 days before the next monthly payment coming up. Or I can freeze the account for up to 3 months. I was there 3 weeks ago to cancel the membership they talked me into postponing to cancel the membership but told me nothing about a deadline to do so. Just greedy!
I regret referring 2 of my family to this location. Y’all gone hear about me.

I do not have a membership with Crunch Fitness, yet they continue to withdraw money from my account without my permission. Every time I call, I’m told I don’t have an active membership with them—yet the charges continue. That’s theft.
To make matters worse, Crunch has a reputation for making it extremely difficult for people to cancel their memberships. They put up roadblocks, give people the runaround, and make the process as frustrating as possible. It’s a manipulative way to hold on to people’s money.
They also have a pattern of overcharging members with little to no explanation or accountability. I’ve seen others charged random fees or higher rates than what they signed up for—and good luck trying to get a straight answer or refund.
As for management, it’s completely unprofessional. I’ve asked multiple times for the manager to call me. Each time, I’m told they will—but they never do. Then they lie and claim the call already happened. It’s unacceptable.
Avoid Crunch Fitness at all costs. They steal from people, overcharge, lie, and make it nearly impossible to resolve anything. This is not a business that values integrity or its customers.

I have been a member of this club for about 4 years and have really enjoyed my time there. This gym just (May 2025) completed a facelift and general renovation which involved some significant equipment changes. The renovation gave a lot more floor space to weights and less for cardio.
I'd give this gym a rating of 4 for the general population. However, for me the changes don't work so I am in the process of moving on. My favorite piece of equipment was the Octane ellipticals which they removed. The only remaining brand of elliptical is the Precor (EFX 885?) which I hate. You can't adjust the stride, the movement is more of a slide with a bending of the ankle which really aggravates the arthritis in my knees and foot problems. They gave a lot more space to free weights & crowded in the sitting exercise machines. They switched from spray bottles to disposable wipes for user equipment cleaning ~ 1 year ago which really bothers me from an eco perspective as it generates a ton of waste for the landfill. Maintenance standards have really slid. Only 1 remaining soap dispenser in the men's room, staff no longer wipes down equipment when slow, they don't periodically check equipment for failures as many aren't reported, etc. The difference between an excellent business and an OK business is a focus on continuous improvement and attention to detail which is too rare in businesses in general now including this gym.

DECEPTIVE BUSINESS TACTICS. DO NOT WALK INTO THESE DOORS. I heard about the classes they have at this location in greenacres. I wanted to check it out. One of the MANAGERS took the opportunity to sign me up for a $1 for the first month promotion but failed sit me down at the round tables and tell me ANY DETAILS about the onboarding fees, 3 month commitment and wait period to cancel. He said give me your banking information, go take the class and we will handle everything after the fact… While doing this he input a wrong email so after signing up with zero disclosures I received NO emails outlining this. I went back the next week to cancel and I just found out the only way for me to cancel is at the end of 3 months and with a charge of over $150… Then I spoke to another manager - he escalated my concern. This location makes money not off of building connections but rather building a pipeline of forgotten, improperly disclosed subscriptions.

I’ve enjoyed the workouts and the gym itself it’s a great environment. However, the constant sales pressure is unacceptable. I have been called repeatedly, sometimes multiple times a week, even after clearly declining their offers. Today, a random salesperson called me again, and when I politely asked him to stop, he simply said “no” and hung up. This behavior is extremely disrespectful. I understand commissions are involved, but harassing members after multiple refusals is not professional. I came here to work out, not to be constantly pushed into buying personal training. Because of this, I’m giving one star. The gym is great, but the aggressive sales tactics ruin the experience. I’ve attached a photo of the salesperson who called me so others can avoid dealing with the same bad experience.

I totally agree with members who complain about bad business practices at Crunch fitness in Greenacres. Misleading ads and deceitful practices. They lock you in unnecessary contracts. How is it that you’re not able to cancel your membership within the free trial period. Then being told you’re locked into a 3 month commitment before you cancel. Absolutely disgusting and frankly deceptive. My high school boys fell prey to their 1 cent down membership. Tried to cancel before the 7 days was up and wasn’t able to. When contacted about it, the person that took the call was very rude, condescending and couldn’t care less. He just told me it was my boys fault for not reading the terms properly and there’s nothing they can do. The 7 day trial wasn’t even up and they already charged the account. Come on Crunch you can do better than that. You obviously have some sketchy business practices if your 1 star rating is quite high. I sure do hope to hear from someone in corporate and not just a front desk work with no professionalism.

DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!! Bad business practices. These folks kept charging me after I went inside the gym and personally signed all cancellation documents 3 separate times. They charged me collectively over $2700 for PT and dues that I cannot use due to a medical issue. And, when I explained that I had a medical issue the second time I went inside, I was ridiculed by a Coach telling me that listening to my Drs is not the end all be all and that being in the gym working out is what I needed, not to be sedentary and unmoving (which he assumed I am). I was assured each of the 3 times that I would no longer be charged and that I was all set. And then I kept getting charged. They also made me pay a fee EACH time I went inside to cancel. And, they refuse to even consider any sort of refund for their own error, instead insisting I need to pay the fee for cancellation and then that it will take 30 days so 1 more month will still come out!!! Absolutely disgusting behavior. It’s plain theft and there’s no way around it.

My name is Freddy Gutierrez and I joined the Greenacress site a year ago.
When I checked my bank account this morning, I saw that the gym had charged me $18.29, which meant my monthly payment had increased by $6.00. I went to the gym to ask about it, and they told me that I should have been notified that I had been moved to the annual plan. They also told me that although they couldn't reimburse me for the additional cost, they could allow me to go back to the original plan if I so wanted.
The fact that they switched me to a different plan without telling me makes me very angry. It is quite disheartening to do that to your members.

i signed up for this crunch pre-opening. everytime i've tried to go it's always been super packed and not very accessible. i ended up going out of the country and studying abroad and it slipped my mind to cancel my membership so i went online and saw you could fill out a form to cancel. i received a call a few days later from a woman named marissa saying i can't cancel over the phone or online i have to be there in person and that i could send in a friend or family member with my information to cancel for me. i sent in a friend and she was told that it's illegal for anyone to cancel my membership other than myself. confused? i ended up paying for an additional 6 months of this membership when i wasn't even able to use it. i recently went to the new location on hypoluxo to see if it was any better and i will say its much bigger and brighter and has many more machines that do the same function so there isn't as much waiting around for open equipment. however when i checked in the gentleman at the front desk decided to say "wow it's been a full year since you've checked in"... awkward. i didn't take it personally but still it felt like something you shouldn't say. i decided i still wanted to cancel and the gentleman at the front desk said i had to go to my home gym to cancel which is a 40 min drive from where i currently live. i finally made my way to that gym today to cancel and the manager, Nir i believe is his name, tried to persuade me to stay for 6 months and just freeze it instead of cancel it. im confused as to why this wasn't offered when i was out of the country? he also said that i can cancel at any gym it doesn't need to be my home gym and blamed the staff at hypoluxo stating "they are new they make mistakes". it's very obvious they just want the money and thank god they won't get any more from me.

I have a Crunch membership and am familiar with the pricing and benefits of each tier. My husband recently visited a specific location as a guest under his friend’s membership, which explicitly allows guest privileges. Unfortunately, instead of being able to enjoy a simple workout, he was repeatedly pressured by both the front desk staff and the manager to sign up for a membership—despite clearly stating multiple times that he was not interested.
The persistence reached a point where he felt uncomfortable and had to leave. This was an extremely disappointing experience, as he was simply trying to work out with his friend, not endure a high-pressure sales pitch. If this is how guest privileges are handled, I will be reconsidering whether this gym is the right fit for me.

I’ve been a member since opening day of the green acres location. In the past 6 months the conditions of the gym have continued to deteriorate. Arriving at the gym when it opens you shouldn’t have to search for dumbbells that are scattered all over the gym. Garbage pails over flowing. Water bottles left over from the night before. No issues with the trainers. Oriana is amazing with her interaction and encouragement with her clients. If it wasn’t for my 5:00am crew I would look elsewhere

I had an extremely disappointing experience with the front desk staff at Crunch Fitness Greenacres (Anthony and Princess Leah specifically) From the moment I walked in, they were rude, dismissive, and completely unprofessional. Instead of greeting me or offering assistance, they acted as if I was inconveniencing them by simply asking a question about my membership.
Their attitude was not only unwelcoming but also disrespectful. When I asked for clarification about a billing issue, they responded with an irritated tone and made no effort to help resolve the problem. It felt as though they had no interest in providing good customer service.
A gym should be a place where members feel comfortable and valued, but the front desk experience here makes it hard to want to return. I hope management takes action to improve customer service because no one should have to deal with such unprofessional behavior.
I would not recommend this gym based on my experience with the staff. Until they improve their customer service, I’ll be taking my business elsewhere.

Be very careful with signing a contract with them. I called to cancel my deceased husband’s gym membership 1st they told me I would have to come in to the location to cancel. While mourning my husbands death I declined and asked for another route. The 2nd option was to email his death certificate. The death certificate hold personal information that I am not comfortable with providing. She then told me if I cancel the card on file it will go into collections for my deceased husband. It’s very unfortunate that they were not sympathetic nor helpful. I would not dare lie about him passing away and I’m not certain why cancelling a gym membership would be so hard. The response and the tone of the manager is not aligned with the commitment of building a healthier community, seems like they are in it for the money. Building a healthier community will be understating to what I am going through and willing to assist with little to minimal issues. I will be filing a BBB complaint.
Update I was charged $350 for the year of 2024. Crunch fitness began to charge my account under a different Was not noticeable to me or my bank Back and thoroughly reviewed my statements. My bank was able to block Them from charging, but if they change the name Again, I will have to pay attention and report to each time. I filed a BBB complaint And will be leaving review on every platform

I've been to alot of different crunches around the country throughout the years and this one is atleast top 2 for:
•Lack of cleanliness
•Crazy crowded
•Rudeness.
Most of that is on the people who go to the gym here.
ALOT of people don't wipe down the seats on the equipment at all and 9/10 leave the weight on the bar and get up and leave. The gym culture is quite rude and if you can find a different crunch to go to, I would... plus I think they have the heater on at all times. It's hot in there.

Crunch is a predatory business like most gyms.
They appear to demand a credit card and checking account for membership, they won't accept any payment unless you give them full access to your life savings and credit line.
They allow you to sign up online, but they don't let you cancel online, demanding you come in with a hand written letter, then they lose the letter and continue charging you for months.
If you join, only offer them cash, they can't be trusted with your information. When you cancel, hire a lawyer to write the letter and send it via certified mail. You'll have to cancel your credit cards and change banks so they no longer can access your savings account, unless you want to check you bank account for unauthorized charges the next two decades.
Many of the machines are imprecise toys. The more expensive machines aren't properly calibrated or have cheap handles that present a danger.

I had a terrible experience at this location. The staff was incredibly rude and snotty, acting as if answering questions or assisting members was a huge inconvenience. Customer service clearly isn’t a priority here. I expected a welcoming environment, but instead, I left feeling disrespected. The supposed promotion is a SCAM, they made you sign the membership for $0.01 one month for free I didn’t workout in 10 days just one day and I came to this gym and they told me already I have to pay the first month because it is overdue, I asked to cancel, they told me I have a contract for 3 months but when you sign tells you is not permanence time, I asked for my contract and in the paper shows is not any monthly fee for the first month. I was trying to help my sister out. they let me sign up under the deal with the impression that the new gym close to me would be open (they said it would be within the month. I told them their location is not close enough to me. they understood and said that would not be an issue at all). I signed up over the phone, NEVER did they say it was a contract and I would be stuck for 90 days… NEVER. I also never signed anything because this was ALL done over the phone. so how I’m stuck in a contract I never signed is beyond me. the first month goes by and the new gym isn’t open and they are now saying another month until it’s open, and I’m being charged for a gym I never got to use. fine. but for you to then tell me I’m not allowed to leave until January, you got me messed up. disputed and reported charge because I’m not in a contract if I never signed anything. this is honestly so ridiculous.
ALSO… I love how they only respond to the five star reviews. They know they’re messed up and just don’t want to acknowledge that they are WRONG and MISLEADING.

I was working out at the gym looking at some of the protein shakes. Had already been there for an hour when I go back to finish my work out guy comes up says he didn’t see Me check in I let him know I checked in earlier. He tells me I think you’re lying. I didn’t see you check in. You need to check in again I let him know I checked in earlier. He then tells me I’m the general manager here you need to check in again out of respect because I told you too. I think his name is Nye or Rye.
He has very poor customer service. And he’s very disrespectful calling people liars.

If I could give it zero stars I wouldn't.
They are thieves. They charged me a fee that was supposed to be to start the year. I explained to the manager that I wanted to cancel the membership because I had not been to the gym for a long time and I would not return. It seemed unfair to me that they would charge me that fee if I was not going to use the facilities anymore and I did not want to renew the membership. They never sent me an email or anything announcing that the fee would be charged again. Be careful before signing the contract with them.

If I could leave a negative 5 star review I would, this place is a horrible scam that everyone should stay away from. They will REFUSE to cancel your membership even if you’re no longer within the vicinity of their gym. I’ve called and emailed them and all I get is a robot-like copy and paste response telling me to refer to the terms and conditions of my contract (which was never given to me). Get ready to close your bank account and open a new one when you realize these scammers will keep on robbing you and charging hidden $100 fees out of nowhere. Also the gym is insanely overpacked, good look even finding parking there.

The worst thing about gyms, super disappointed. You can't cancel memberships, I didn't like the gym at all, the environment, the cleanliness, nothing at all. I only went for 2 days, and it turns out you're forced to pay the membership for three months. It's a real scam. I would never recommend it to anyone

This gym has changed a lot since I first joined. The equipment is cleaner, and the staff’s morale is noticeably better. The 5 stars is not for the gym rather the personal training experience. (the gym would be 3/5)
ATMOSPHERE:
The crunch in Greenacres is like my mistress I definitely only go to use certain equipment like the heavy bag area and the ballroom. It gets packed during the day to the point where u just workout what is available... which isn't great. I feel CRUNCH members would benefit more if it was open 24 hours.
PRICES:
A bit backwards. Though u have a option to participate in the classes as the cheapest membership deal, they still take up a lot of space in the gym. In my opinion if I choose to invest in a gym, especially if its for personal training there should be a higher priority for those to have access to the equipment. It wouldn't be the trainer or the members fault, its the the way its ran morally. Seems that they prioritize sales more than the members.
PERSONAL TRAINING:
I currently train with Mrs. Kaetlyn Baca (10/10) . Id say that the experience with training is the only reason I will stick with Crunch. The trainer is worth the price but the gym is not, it can be overly crowded and CRUNCH doesn't prioritize the trainer and clients workout. Shoutout Coach Baca, Id recommend her at the Greenacres Crunch Gym.
OVERALL:
Id say Crunch Greenacres would be a short term investment or commitment until some changes are made.
