This gym is a rip off. If you join the franchise in it self be aware!!! The personal trainers are a RIP OFF!! I signed up and cancelled the sessions and was still charged after 7 months of no notifications that this "balance" I had existed. Day in and day out I was in the gym yet no one said anything to me but they hunted me down when I didn't pay a monthly membership fee one time. The personal trainer manager Matt has no knowledge of how to do business. He kept putting everything on the company with no responsibility for himself or the trainers under him. He even said he can not take the word of a trainer, so I guess they are all money hungry liars. Apparently they don't do refunds or have someone other the gym level that you can speak with. I will find a corporate name and seek legal advice on this. It's year end so now they want to make numbers since the gym is failing. Don't was your time going there.

I don’t have a problem with the place or the people. I really like the place but there’s something I don’t really like about it. I pay the 25 something amount at month to be able to get the clases and all that , but something I don’t want to do clase but I still want to bike and use the bikes on the studio because they are good quality and work better than the bikes outside that they are bad quality and really are not close at all like the ones on the studio . I think we should have a least 2 or 3 bikes like the studios ones outside because if I pay that membership I should be able to used don’t matter if there’s not clases . I’m really mad about it . On the evening of October 30th, I experienced the most disrespectful and humiliating treatment by the staff members Aren, Noah and another man at this Crunch location.
I had been attending this location for a few months with my friend on her guest pass (she has the highest membership) and while I had been asked to sign up personally, the staff usually didn’t push me too much after being told no.
I guess after being told no multiple times, they decided to push even harder during this visit.
We went to pick up my ID after our session and when we walked up to the desk, the man who’s name we didn’t get said to the other staff member “Noah, aren’t these the ones that said she would sign up today?”. Noah was quick to respond with “yeah that’s them”. This was incorrect as neither myself or my friend said I was going to sign up. I started to tell them no again and they were saying things such as “just do it” and “why not?” and “you’re already here”. I kept saying no but they weren’t taking that answer. My friend attempted to de-escalate the situation by jokingly saying “let’s rock paper scissors for it” and all three of them then tried to play but she said “No, I was just kidding. That is not my decision, that is not my money.” They turned to me and tried to get me to play but I declined and stated once again that I didn’t want to sign up. At this point it was Aren speaking to us. He then turned towards my friend and asked “don’t you want more money every month?” (Implying to downgrade her pass to not have a guest so that I HAD to get my own). She told him that she was happy paying for her current membership and that she had enough money for it. He then threw his hands up in the air and rudely said “I didn’t say you don’t have money.” She told him “that’s what you were implying. She doesn’t have to sign up right now if she doesn’t want to. I’m happy to have her as my guest.” Aren just stared at us. She then asked “can we have her (my) ID back now?” To which Aren responded with “I’m not the one who was here when you came up, you’ll have to talk to him” (the other unnamed staff member). This man was directly across from me on the other side of the counter with his body completely turned sideways to ignore me while he “took a phone call”. They left us standing there (the other two Noah and Aren were not doing anything else) for about two minutes waiting to receive my ID back.
Finally, he turned to me and in an annoyed tone asked for my last name. He gave me my ID and as we were walking out Aren yelled at us “see you tomorrow, same thing!”.
I will never visit this location again even when I do sign up for my own membership because of this treatment unless I know for a fact these guys no longer represent the company. Why does a company offer a membership with a guest pass if the guest is just going to be treated with disrespect and as a less worthy person of visiting that gym?
It felt like school bully behavior and it is embarrassing that these individuals are being trusted to represent the company, commission earning from memberships or not.

BUT.. BEWARE! If you sign up for additional Personal Training, they WILL charge you, even when you have completed your training. You will have to call your bank/cc company to dispute it. But it won't stop them from attempting the charge again, in another month or two.

After doing a quick google search, this is common for them.

Use the equipment, but steer clear of any of their other monthly services!

The staff is always friendly. Their drink inventory is always stocked. Their facility is clean and machines are operable, and if a machine is inoperable it’s fixed quickly. The management is helpful and solution focused. We used to workout almost exclusively at Winter Garden Crunch, but due to their continuous poor management and their overall lacking facility, we designated Ocoee as our home gym and plan to make the extra hike just for a better workout experience than the one offered at Winter Garden Crunch.

I signed for the a kickoff session with a trainer and initially wanted to do the training program but the next day I decided against it. The contract says you have 3 days to cancel and it hadn’t been 24 hours when I decided to cancel. The trainer that assisted me was very pushy and rude. Ignored my request to cancel until I was rudely blunt with him and refused to cancel when I refused to agree to pay the $312 dollars, for a service I wouldn’t be receiving due to cancelling.

Be careful with signing up for the kickoff session with the trainer and how you proceed with signing the contract moving forward. You will be charged even if you cancel within the 3 days. You will be told you didn’t notify them within 10 billing days but it’s pretty stupid because how would you be able to notify them within 10 billing days if you literally just signed up.

I’ve been a member at EOS and Planet Fitness and never had any complaints. At this point I’ll be going back to one of those gyms.

I've been attending the Crunch Fitness classes in Apopka and they are nice, but today I went over to Ocoee and wow! The Crunch in Ocoee is clean and large. I really want to call out Alecia for her yoga instruction. The class was small, not packed tight like the other classes. Alecia took the time in class to explain what we were doing, the why and how. She was gentle, great flow, great communication. I can't recommend her class enough.

I signed up for a Crunch Fitness membership and Due to personal injuries I couldn’t attend and canceled my membership through the website I have sent more than 10 emails, I have made more than 5 phone calls, still not successful.

My last day at the Gym was in June. I have been calling, emailing since July. No help at charges keeps increasing each month membership fees + an additional fee. When I was joining this gym, they respond to all my emails and calls. Since July because I am canceling, no one respond anymore. I was charged $182 Are you serious? Everyone becomes unavailable.

I ask if they could even postpone my membership, no help, I even completed the document they have online to postpone membership for a while, no help. In the mobile app my account is still active and you want to keep charging me and still adding monthly bills. this is ridiculous. I NEED HELP, CRUNCH! I’m Screaming for. response!

This is absolutely unacceptable. Crunch Fitness is an awful organization with zero understanding or flexibility. I will never return, and I will never recommend it Crunch. I tell every one about this. All my friend who were looking gyms to go to. I showed them all the emails, the efforts I made to cancel or put on hold. This is very bad. Good experience with crunch so far.
Music selections are very good, not too loud, not obnoxious like some other gym. Good ambience.
They have best Zumba teacher in Orlando-Tiffany, but Tiffany only have one Zumba class each week. I wish she had more classes I will get friends sign up for crunch as well.
Also hope the pool water can be heated up so it is not too cold for swim as winter approaches.

I signed up for a Crunch Fitness membership at $10/month. Due to family circumstances, I couldn’t attend and canceled my membership through the website (unfortunately, I no longer have screenshots). Believing my membership was canceled, I completely forgot about it.

After 2 months, I suddenly received a bill for $98 for unpaid membership fees + an additional fee. During those 2 months, I never received a single email or phone call notifying me about any charges or debt. I was told that until I paid this debt, they couldn’t cancel my membership. But when I came to settle it, instead of $98, I was charged $151. Are you serious? A membership that costs $10/month turns into $151 in “debt” after just 2 months???

I tried to explain my situation: I never once used the gym, I lost my job, and I’m a single mother struggling financially. I even asked if there were any options due to hardship, but they simply didn’t care. Their answer was: “Pay first, then we’ll cancel.”

I canceled my membership a month ago, but in the mobile app my account is still active and you want to keep charging me?

Used to like this gym but As a member I got kicked out of the gf room so the personal trainers could have their meeting. the pt was super rude, there are no signs or anything that let's gym members know when they are having meeting in the room. I was told they would offer me a free first time personal training session and was charged $10. The point is not the $10 the point to me was the fact that I was charged this without being told. Discriminatory, Rude, and Unprofessional Management

I had one of the most disappointing experiences at this gym. My friend, who has been training with me, was expelled simply because the staff assumed she is a personal trainer. Their exact words were: “Look at her body, obviously she is a PT.” This is an unacceptable and discriminatory statement.

We were working out together as training partners — she does not train me. And, in fact, I am also a certified PT myself. According to their logic, just having an athletic body is enough reason to get kicked out. That is absurd. So does being a professional in the fitness industry mean you are not allowed to work out for yourself in this facility?

On top of that, the staff showed zero empathy, respect, or professionalism. The so-called General Manager, Noah, was extremely rude, dismissive, and refused to even listen to our side of the situation. Instead of handling it with fairness and professionalism, he chose arrogance and disrespect.

It is also clear that this gym does not care about losing customers. After this incident, not only did I cancel my membership, but so did my friends. Their elevated ego and lack of basic customer service send a strong message: they value their pride more than the community or their members.

This gym promotes an environment of judgment rather than support. People come to a gym to feel motivated and welcomed, not to be treated with arrogance or excluded based on appearance or profession. The lack of empathy, humility, and respect is shocking. I would not recommend this place to anyone who values professionalism and a welcoming environment.

Definitely not the environment or a representative of the customer service it used to have. Management has changed and so has the culture. I’m an adult and was told exact words “ I’m going to get kicked out for not having the right shoes” asked me to do a Facebook post and let me slide this time, sir, number 1, that is rude, never have I been told I’m gonna get kicked out. I’ve been coming for years and have never been approached with such lack of care. I understand the issue with shoes, I have no problem with that, however it is the approach that matters. Definitely thinking about switching gyms due to lack of customer service the past few months since management changed. They don’t even greet you anymore. It’s kinda like Walmart now, bathrooms and all. Gym becomes therapy and a moment to digress and develop a family even with the employees, but that has changed, the “kids” that are now working here have no care at all or leadership.

They are supposed to service customers both in the front and back- they almost always ignore the back. They'll be on their phones or facing the front, even if there are no customers in front, completely disregarding the back. I'm so grateful my friends introduced me to this gym! It is clean, inviting (both with the layout of the space, and the staff). Also the price is RIGHT. I really can't identify any cons. I need a pool for triathlon training, but I also like to work out in the gym.

The absolute HIGHLIGHT though has been my personal trainer Sierra! I've never worked with a PT before, but my friend who introduced me to Crunch Ocoee recommended her, and I cannot IMAGINE a better trainer. She keeps the workouts fun and interesting, and makes sure I push myself past what I would have, without passing my limits. I leave my workouts with her motivated to come back and work out again. Used to be a good gym, but slipping The PT trainers uses the group fitness room for their meetings but never post the time of the meetings and lots of people like to use that room so kicking paying members out for a staff meeting is very subpar to me. Especially when their is a big cycling room that no one uses. Crunch Ocoee is a well-maintained gym with some surprisingly serious but always welcoming group classes (I was absolutely humbled by the Pilates class as a beginner). I'm generally not a big gym person, though, and I don't like loud spaces, so I hesitated to go until I got a personal trainer.

Bunny is the best. I showed up to every workout without dreading it because she's so personable and keeps every workout varied and engaging. She definitely challenged me, though, and I ended up gaining more muscle and losing more fat than I thought I would. Bunny was great about helping me come up with enjoyable and sustainable food choices that would help me in my fitness journey.

I'm still not crazy about big gyms, but I'd love to work with Bunny again.

The gym is big and well maintained but if you are a client over 40, especially a woman, with any kind of medical conditions, forget about their “training program”. They lack the professionalism and knowledge to deal with this kind of clientele. Trainers here have a job, not a profession. All that matters here is $$. I travel to Orlando a lot for business and whenever I'm in town I head to Crunch for a quick workout. I'm part of the Peak Results membership plan so I have nationwide access to all Crunch gyms. This one is located off a busy street and parking is a pain. I had to circle around a few times when I got there at 5:30pm during the weekday to find parking. The gym itself is standard Crunch and was clean and well maintained, including the locker. Its also open 24 hours during the week and until 7pm on Saturday and Sunday.

Just like any other gym but, you're cool if you forget headphones. They play really good music. Haven't had a chance to use some of the gym areas due to always being crowded. The staff is always friendly.

Three month update:

I hate this gym. Always too crowded. One hip abductor and adductor is crazy when you have hundreds of members. There seems to be room for them to expand this space, but they haven't. They do not use paper products so if you sweat when you workout, bring a towel. I'm currently searching for another gym.

Gym itself is really nice! I really recommend that gym! However, trainer staff could be better. I signed up for a plan, after a month, I came to my trainer saying that I want to freeze it, when he said he got it. Surprisingly, they charged me for the next month. Then, I came to them saying that it should be freezed, but in system it said active. So, I told them about my conversation with my trainer, and they said they could not help. Conversation is not the evidence for freezing, so I said about canceling, with which they helped me. But, it is right now 2-3 months since that situation, and I still didn’t get my money back. So please, read contract, and it would be better to not get trainer, in my personal opinion! It seems like they think more about money than sharing their gym experience!

This is a beautiful well stocked gym. I switched here from another gym because it was closer to my house. The staff however (mostly the manager Gabby) is so unprofessional. They lie about their policies when you sign up for extra services stating you can use the massage bed for up to 20 minutes but when you ask for 20 minutes they state you can only do that if you come back out after 10 minutes and ask for more time, or repost their Facebook crap. Mind you, no one has ever told me that or enforced that rule the whole time I've been coming. I pay for an extra service it's reasonable I shouldn't have to jump through hoops to use it. When I stated no one informed me that was a rule when I signed up and got attitude from Gabby. Then when I called later to cancel the extra services after pondering the situation Corbin answered the phone and says OH THATS WHO YOU ARE. Which clearly tells me she was continuing to be unprofessional and slandering a customer. I was nothing but respectful when I spoke to both of them and was highly confused by the attitude. Would not recommend this gym going forward.

Crunch Fitness is a big scam as it relates to their personal training program. Crunch Fitness had me enrolled in two contracts one of which I paid in full and the other they was charging me every two weeks. Why?!? If it was paid in full. Originally I was going to do the payments every two weeks but there was an issue when we attempted the payment. Within a couple hours, I opted to pay in full and the trainer signed me up for that. Later on I found out that the trainer had me enrolled for two contracts so although I was paid in full they continued to take more money from me and added on sessions. The manager stated the trainer messed up and caused all of this and admitted that it was the trainers fault (who was no longer an employee). However, the manager had the audacity to tell me that those sessions weren’t going anywhere. After admitting that the employee was at fault. I am still out 400 dollars!!! They finally allowed me to fill out a form to request only 200 of it back but never got anything. They also tried to charge me to cancel my membership, when they owed me money! Never again!

Planet fitness closed so I joined this gym…oh my god they would not stop calling me the first few weeks and harassing me about personal training after I said I was not interested multiple times. Since the new guy has taken over, tall guy, First thing when you walk in no one greet you no one says hello. Second is all the trash bins are full. This gym is on a decline. Joined 10 months ago and was well kept and maintained and most people were there to work. But now, equipment is broken, weights are misplaced, attachments for cable machines are broken or misplaced, 3/4 of the wipe stations are empty if you go at night, most people I see 7-9p are there to stare at their phones for 10 minutes between sets, socialize, and pose/video for social media. Focus people, you're there to do work. Management, get your staff moving around the joint to keep things in order rather than focusing on signing people up for Facebook or socializing at the front.

7/12/25 update: Hot tub is working and they replaced the soap dispensers in the showers. I can understand some delay on repairing the hot tub but it should not have taken 2 weeks to get soap in the showers. BTW, i noted an F rating from the Better Business Bureau. Crunch needs to attend to their customers better.
7/1/25 update: Hot tub still broken. Shower soap is still not right.
6/26/25 update: Removing the "Hand Soap" labels or disabling the soap dispensers really doesn't resolve the issue. The body soap/shampoo is orange. To the owner: Please send a competent employee to put orange soap in ALL of the showers.
6/23/25 update: It's been another week without the hot tub. Also, what's with the hand soap in the showers? They used to have body soap/shampoo, but now they have only hand soap which is not so great for your hair. I told the blond manager at the desk last week but its the same.
6/15/25 Update: The hot tub was working for a few days last week but it has not been working for about 5 days. Still dirty too.
Previous: They really need to do a better job of servicing the hot tub. It is often dirty or low on water or out of service. For about two weeks now, it has not been hot, only a little warm. I talked to someone about it and they said it is a known issue but the repair must be approved by corporate before fixing it. Somehow, the process should go faster.

The gym itself, is very good.
BUT they will scam you out of money!!!
And their music is TOO LOUD!
If you wear headphones, you will damage your hearing, fighting to hear your music above theirs so don't bother. And unfortunately their music isn't always the motivation you may be looking for. But hey, the staff is jamming out.
It's more like a "party club gym", except that no one is meeting or allowed to talk to each other. :(

I like this gym, usually pretty clean staff is pretty friendly, the hot water in the showers took a dip and now doesn't get very hot for some reason. I would say that today was abig no for me tho, they had someone with food set up in the lobby and the smell was completely overwhelming and not pleaent to smell while trying to work out, mixing the sweating of everyone with the food smell was just abig no, I hope they do not do this again or if they do please alert members as not everyone enjoys the same smells of foods. and it's inconsiderate to all the gym members or put it outside.

I was a founding member of this gym. Signed up before it was open to the public to lock in my 9.99 monthly rate. After 18 months, without my consent, they upped my monthly membership price by 50% to $19+ without so much as an email. To get my 9.99 founding member rate back, they wanted me to cancel my membership and re-sign up for a yearly contract, and also PAY A $93 FEE for the privilege of getting the rate I signed up for back. Good gym. Unfortunately clientele is incapable of keeping weights organized. They seem to have trouble reading numbers and often mix the 25s 35s and 45s in very odd combinations. First the good: excellent gym. New equipment. No complaints about the product.

The bad: just sign up online. Went in and explained exactly what I was signing up for. They had a June special where the rest of the month was free. Only a $1 to join their most expensive plan. I went through the motions and it was only $1 if I did it online. Thought I’d throw the staff a bone because I’ve been in sales and I know they have metrics to hit and I had questions about annual fees and cancellation. Dude named NoahPhillipe Beals “had a better deal than their June promotion”
Ended up charging me for the full first month. I reviewed the charge with him. He told me it was only $1. Checked my card and they charged me $27. Could have done it online for cheaper. Attached is a photo of what it would have been if I wouldn’t have gone in and signed up with staff.

Something finally clicked which led me to sign up with Coach Metri. Just look for the guy who looks like Samson. I run from him and run to him cause he will CHALLENGE YOU. Years of experience and will accomodate you, but also no BS. He's generous with his time, often volunteering his assistance while you're peacefully doing your lil easy workout. He adds a layer of difficulty forcing you to tap into a side of you you didnt know was really there. Still alive, 10lbs down. ❤️

I absolutely love this gym! The facilities are clean, the environment is motivating, and the staff is always welcoming. A special shoutout to Johnny D, Karen A, and Luis V — they are truly the best trainers! Their energy, knowledge, and dedication make every workout better.

That said, I do have a few suggestions to improve the experience even more. It would be great if they could add a clock and thermometer inside the sauna. Also, maintenance could be much faster — the sauna has been broken for over two weeks, and 2 bikes seats in the cycling room have been out of order for months, despite being reported multiple times. Some equipment also has broken seats or needs recalibration.

Overall, it’s still a fantastic place to work out, but a little more attention to repairs would make it even better!

When I went in to go cancel my gym membership in January I was told I had to pay 30 days out to cancel so I had to pay the fee twice which is fine but I was charged three times. Both cards (a debit and credit card) I used were used online in fraud attempts 2-3 days later and one of the cards (my debit) I use exclusively for autopay payments- so the only place it could have occurred from was here. Still fine, I just got two new cards and moved on but then two months later I was charged AGAIN for the gym membership and club flees because they said my membership was never cancelled. The customer service is terrible here aside and a lot of the employees are rude- aside from Maria at the front desk. Would not recommend this gym at all to anyone.

Great in terms of equipment and space, which is most important to me. There is no clock in view from inside the sauna which is kind of annoying. I don't want to bring my phone in there to track my time. And the hourglass timer inside is inconvenient if its already been flipped by someone else. Just mount a clock outside within view of the sauna window. Also, the water fountains next to the sauna have been out of order for weeks at least. So there's two safety issues with the sauna situation. Otherwise, great gym, competitive with other lower cost places.

Started going to Crunch ocoee in the early part of 2024. A few months later I decided to move out of Orlando and started going to a different Crunch. Not long after a got called for a deployment. Went to crunch to cancel my membership until I return home. The staff convinced me to pause my membership for the time being ensuring I would not be charged while gone on military orders. 3 months later I start getting charged again. I sent them a few emails and got no response. Contacted corporate and got an email back the next day. They refunded the amount and I was happy again. Fast forward two months later, I get charged the annual membership fee even though I was told I would not be charged for this since it was a military hold. So I emailed them again and they explain that the policy states while paused I’d still be charged the annual fee. So I ask them to just cancel my membership because this is absurd. They tell me to go into the club for a cancellation. Absolute worst customer service you can ask for. Needless to say if you’re a deploying military member do not let them convince you to “Pause” your membership. Just cancel it and reopen when you get back stateside.

I love this gym but plz if you ever get in a financial situation cancelling the fitness program is a pain in the 🍑! I was unemployed with only 1 job and little days of work since my 2nd job was forced to shut down. I've been a member at Crunch Ocoee since the end of July 2024, and I can say that I haven't had any unfavorable interactions with the front desk staff or the group fitness instructors. Special shoutout for Desi, who is the main reason I joined after experiencing her summer water aerobics program. Zumba instructors Edwin, Mari, Tiffany, and Natasha are in my weekly routine because of the energy and community of their classes. Recently started yoga with Jessi, and it's been a blast... maybe one day I'll get into her HiiT classes. Definitely an amazing crop of instructors! GM Bri leads an phenomenal front desk crew.
