Gym is a mess most of the time. Weights all over the place. No one reracks. Dumbbells all over the gym. Kettlebells all over. Overflowing trash cans. Need to make an effort to remind customers at front and with signage. And maybe if trainers walk by something not in its place, take a minute to clean up a bit. I’m tired of putting everyone else’s stuff away.
Update Thanksgiving Day: Showed up w some family who are in town for the holidays, thinking I could buy day passes to workout together and off course was told this one day Crunch wasn’t selling those but instead wanted me to sign everyone up to a plan. Crunch isn’t winning the customer experience game. Front desk reps seemed to not give a shit. So I drove home more resolved to find an alternative gym. The responses to these and other reviews also seem AI and/or funneled into a bottomless hole of “we don’t care”.

Beware, $9.99 a month turns into $19.36 a month.
I signed up with the promo of $0.05 instead of $75 enrollment fee with the basic plan of $9.99 a month. they asked if I wanted the kick off promo of personal training after saying no 10 different times. I noticed I was charged the $10 promo. I went in to cancel my membership and they said they cant because of not reaching the 3 month commitment. but after being fraudulently charged $10 and an extra 9.37$ a month im over it. Don't sign up unless your cool with them charging whatever comes to mind and not canceling when you want to cancel, and emailing an owner than doesnt respond.

Would love to take Zumba, but all it is is the teacher brogan shaking her behind in too short shorts for the Internet and not showing any of the people taking the class how to actually do the Choreography. Choreography is also much too hard for the age group. She is clearly doing it only for Internet views, and I do not feel comfortable taking a class where I know I may be in a video.

This place loves to scam people. I went in and canceled my membership last year and they continued to charge my credit card. I called and confirmed that I had indeed cancel my membership, but my credit card continued to be charged. I eventually just disputed the charge, And now I’ve been sent to collections and my credit score is dropped. Absolutely terrible organization. Do not under any circumstances go here. You’re better off going to LA fitness or planet fitness.

I’m extremely disappointed with how this location handles its members and their money. I had a family emergency and became a full-time caregiver, so back in June I requested that my personal training membership ($212 biweekly) be permanently canceled. Around the same time, my wonderful trainer Satarra—the only reason I stayed consistent—was let go, and no one from Crunch ever notified me.
Despite my clear request to cancel, Crunch Northlake continued charging me for months without authorization. I even went in person weeks ago to confirm the cancellation, and the front desk assured me my account was closed. After reviewing my bank statements, I discovered that Crunch had been taking money the entire time.
When I called to resolve it, I was completely dismissed and told to “just use” the sessions I never approved or agreed to continue paying for. The new personal training manager admitted the account was only frozen for two weeks, not canceled, and showed zero concern or accountability.
Now, after calling my bank to dispute unauthorized charges, Crunch Northlake has threatened to send me to collections. Instead of owning their mistake, they’re punishing a paying customer who was misled and ignored for months.
This is absolutely unacceptable and unethical. Members should be treated as people, not paychecks. Do not sign up for personal training here unless you want to spend months chasing your own money back.

When I went in for the complimentary personal training session I was paired with Alejandro who was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Too busy to ever peacefully work out even during the slowest hours. They may have many lat pull-downs and racks but it’s still full. They also only have one of other popular machines. Further, the trainers are incredibly pushy and relentless in trying to gain new clients (I’m a former CPT, also). I’ve blocked so many personal numbers from the trainers here it is frustrating. It’s still relatively clean and friendly people just be prepared to never be able to use half of the equipment.

I'm writing this Review because I have Been Scammed out of my hard earned money, By Crunch Gym Palm Beach Gardens. I WAS AT MY PLACE of employment when Crunch Gym employees ( 2 Females) walked in Soliciting a special promotion Crunch was having. $1 dollar down and $15 dollars a month was the scam I was Solicited! Being that I'm a Technician, I continued working on the Vehicle I was working on, while these 2 crunch gym crooks, signed me up For this special promotion! $1 dollar Immediately came out of my account!.. a few weeks later in the middle of the night, Crunch Gym took 34 dollars out of my Account! I then was thinking they took, 2 months $15 dollars payment at once.. This month, Crunch took $34 dollars Monday night, and then took another $64 dollars on Tuesday Night!!! So Crunch has charged my account $134 dollars, when I was told id be ONLY PAYING 15 dollars a month, and I've only Signed up for the Scam promotion 2 months ago, and these Crooks have taken my Light bill money, out my Account this month! I called to speak to the manager, who stated I was on there PREMIUM PACKAGE which cost 34 dollars a month with tax. I tried explaining to the Store manager, I wasn't solic

I signed up for a personal trainer. When I went for a session I was told I was there on the wrong day. The personal trainer, Tony who I was to be training with was standing there with nothing to do but said he was not available and then rudely said “can’t you hear me” knowing I’m in my late 70s.
Dylan had stated on September 8 10:20 AM that the transaction was being processed and a refund of my $464 would take 1 to 2 weeks.
The refund has not been made.
I called today and Dylan answered the phone and denied he ever said that there would be a refund.
This is a sketchy outfit. If you value your money and time, stay far away from Crunch in Palm Beach Gardens.

Gym was nice but they will not let me cancel my membership unless I am there in person, and I am no longer traveling to Palm Beach Gardens.
I told them when I joined that I needed a membership only until July and they said there would be no issues canceling the membership.
I told them that it looks like the only way to stop paying for the membership was to cancel my credit card. So they threatened to report me to collections.
They are reporting me to collections because that is the only way I can cancel my membership?
I guess that is why they are able to provide the gym at that price. People like me who can't stop paying are supporting their low cost memberships.

Watch out for the cheeky yearly fee they apparently fail to mention upon signing. Also, “you can cancel anytime” translates to 3 month minimum membership. Head on down to Crunch fitness where you can give not just your body but your bank account a workout at the same time!

Absolutely terrible experience. The gym itself is decent, but the management and policies are bs. I canceled my membership in person back in 2022, yet years later I find I’ve still been charged monthly, even after moving out of state. Their in-person-only cancellation policy is outdated and intentionally difficult, and clearly the employee who handled my cancellation never processed it properly.
When I reached out to explain the situation and request a refund, I was met with zero sympathy and absolutely no accountability. It’s clear they don’t care about their members once they’ve locked you into payments. This isn’t just poor customer service, it feels like a scam. Just another company that clearly values profit over people.

Worst gym ever. I have joined the gym on March, wanting to apply for a “month to month” membership, because I wanted to try them out. At the end of the same month I have moved to another state because of work. I called them to cancel or freeze my account, then I was told that I have signed the contract for 90 days and I can only freeze my account when I pay out 90 days+ yearly maintenance fee ( which I was never told upon signing the contract, after I certainly specified that I want mont to month membership). Yet, my fault that I didn’t read 5 pages contract before signing it. But spending over 40 minutes to sign me in and trying convince me to get a personal trainer and spend even more money, but failing to mention that they are making me sign 90 day contract is so manipulative by their employees.

Payment for monthly and annual supposed to come out on the 11th and 12th. I was in on the 13th and 15th. I woke up on the 16th to $128.53 charge. I was told that the payment did not go through, and I was charged a $15 late fee twice for both annual and monthly. This is not accurate since there was money in my account. I inquired why I was not made aware of the issue when I was physically there twice and was told that they didn’t know until the 15th. I asked how is it that I’m being penalized for there being no communication ESPECIALLY since I was in the building. I was told the 3rd party they do their billing through makes money off of their late fees… I was told she could’ve waived one of the late fees (which is ridiculous) but the transaction was already collected. So seeing no pending or attempted transactions in my bank account plus not being notified by ANY of the workers on the floor checking me in looking at my account plus no alert from my bank (I get an alert if a sneeze was declined) that a transaction was declined. So basically you have to be psychic. There was no resolution and they were perfectly okay with me being penalized for their issues with their system. DO NOT JOIN

I had to cancel my membership because working out on the weekends was difficult because of there short hours, but to make it worse the last 15 to 20 mins they are open I had to workout without music which was replaced by the girl that works there asking you to leave because she wants to go home. In fact she instinsts on speaking on the loudspeaker continuously for the last minutes there open. While trying to workout I had to listen to her complain about wanting to go home because she has to be there again in the morning. This is extremely unprofessional and disrespectful to customers who are trying to finish there workout.

I honestly only go to Crunch because of Satarra! She’s an incredible trainer, especially for women who want to take their fitness journey more seriously. I genuinely don’t understand the hype. This gym is extremely small with terrible equipment. The hoist equipment is obnoxious. This gym is usually so packed that you can’t do your workout in peace with extremely bright lights. Also anyone who goes here will be talking down on planet fitness thinking they are doing better somehow at this terrible gym. I’m canceling my membership and going right back to planet fitness. Also why can’t i cancel my membership online or on the phone i haven’t used this gym in a while cause it sucks and i have social anxiety but i keep forgetting to go cancel i hate you crunch

Buyer Beware! They tell you it is a 30 day notice to cancel. What they actually mean to say is that you have to cancel the day before your next billing cycle to be released from the contract in 30 days. If you do it any other day after a payment has been taken out then they will take the next payment so it essence it could be a 60 day notice.
Furthermore if you want to downgrade your membership they charge you an additional $20 to do that.
Check out EOS down the road. Cleaner, more equipment, amenities and 24 hours with attended staff. None of these games on cancellation either.

It’s sad when you literally have to take things to social media to get any kind of resolution or response from companies. Crunch Fitness Crunch Fitness apparently you have no working corporate number or email to utilize regarding issues that need to be escalated past your location managers. You advertise this $10 personal trainer session with the start of a membership which is great! However your hired personal trainers tend to leave out important information regarding the program when you sign up such as your 3 month commitment before any program cancellation. Regardless you offer a freeze option for payments to customers with the stipulation that the request is made within 10 days of the payment due date. I came in on Tuesday 06/04 and spoke with your manager of the personal trainer Tyler who placed the freeze to the account to have the payment intended to be processed on 06/14 to now be processed on 06/28. On 06/14 I got a notification from my bank that the payment was however processed on the original date. I was referred to Tyler yet again to deal with refunding the payment and canceling the personal trainer program. Ofcourse Tyler was very happy to tell me I was unable to cancel the program but free to downgrade to the cheapest personal trainer program. When attempting to get an explanation as to why the payment was processed despite the given notice, I was told that Tyler would look into this but wasn’t sure why it had. I was given his email address to follow up and was told there was no one else I could contact regarding the issue. I’ve since sent Tyler two follow up emails to get some answers with no response. I called a few minutes ago to speak with Cris and was told “they’ve been busy with a lot going on and so he doesn’t have an answer for me” since the department he needs the answers from is managing 65 other locations. I think that’s very unacceptable as it’s been almost 2 weeks since the payment error was brought to their attention. If you guys have a number to contact or an email of someone else that can provide some answers that would be a great start. As of right now, I am beyond disgusted with your service. Within minutes of posting on social media regarding my experience, a number of people have also came forward and reported the same. Very sad!

A few months later I noticed I was still getting charged even though I never signed up for new sessions. I also only agreed to do three sessions and the trainer understood and said that was fine. When I went to see why I was still getting billed, turns out the trainer had been fired and nobody in management reached out to inform me or offer me a new trainer when my account showed I was still getting billed for personal training sessions. They refused to refund me the more than $200 in training sessions I never received or signed up for. Today I went in because I was billed twice for my membership. No real explanation as to why I was incorrectly billed and no solution so once again, I’m paying for their errors. I’m waiting a a month until my claims with Chase have been processed, but then I’m 100% leaving. And don’t even bother trying to find a phone number for corporate, there’s no one who could actually help or offer support.

He focuses on what gym goals you have and modify workouts to fit your workout goals and what you are comfortable with while also motivating you and pushing you further than you think you can go . Like others, I initially signed up for a monthly plan that the gym insists has a 90 day minimum. There was no mention of a 90 day minimum during signup nor in the provided membership agreement. The company falsely advertises plans and should be taken to court for pulling a fast one on its customers.
The gym is also always crowded and facilities are constantly out of order. I’d strongly recommend going with another gym instead of a Crunch one.

Absolutely Horrible Experience with Crunch Gym's Cancellation Policy
If you’re considering joining Crunch Gym, RUN the other way. Their cancellation policy is a nightmare designed to trap you in a cycle of hidden fees and frustration.
First off, they require all of your banking information, including your routing number, just to cancel your membership. Yes, you read that correctly — they want direct access to your financials before they’ll even consider letting you go. This is not only invasive but completely unnecessary for a gym membership.
Even more shocking is the complete lack of easy cancellation methods. You cannot cancel through the usual means, like a simple email or letter, which are stated as acceptable methods on their site — but to no avail. No, they make it nearly impossible to end your membership with their confusing, convoluted processes. If you don’t cancel in the exact, obscure manner they dictate, you’re still locked into paying.
And don’t get me started on the cancellation fee. After all the hoops you have to jump through, they still have the audacity to charge you just to stop being a member. It's absurd and speaks volumes about how little they care about customer satisfaction. Crunch Gym clearly operates on the principle of squeezing every last penny out of its members, no matter how bad the experience.
Looking at reviews on sites like Trustpilot and the Better Business Bureau, I’m far from alone in feeling scammed. Customers everywhere are sharing horror stories about being locked into memberships for months, dealing with endless billing issues, and being forced to give up personal banking information just to end a gym membership they no longer want or can use.

When I asked to speak to corporate, they didn’t have a corporate number. They said they’re all franchise out so then I asked for the owners information and the manager at this crunch on Northlake stated that he didn’t know who the owner was. I want to start by saying this is the first review I’ve ever given 1 star. I typically prefer to build up and support local businesses. However, me, and many other long time members of Crunch, are on our last straw. I’ve been going to Crunch for almost a decade since it was at the old location on the east side of I95. This location was great when it first opened but has quickly gone downhill in almost all facets. People at the front desk are friendly and equipment is current but beyond that the gym needs a lot of improvements. First off, it’s FILTHY—floors, bathrooms, locker rooms, showers. One of my friends even got MERSA in the men’s sauna. It is disgusting, even for a gym.
The gym is ALWAYS crowded. I typically go at 5am and by 5:15am it’s difficult to get through my workouts due to the wait. Evenings are even worse. The only time I’ve found that works ok is Sunday afternoons.
My biggest gripe with Crunch though is that I joined this gym mostly for their functional area and originally paid a premium price for that benefit (although they don’t monitor that and anyone can use it which is fine…maybe this rule changed). However, during all of the normal times of the day they have classes and BLOCK OFF THE ENTIRE FUNCTIONAL TRAINING AREA (probably 1500ish s.f.)…sometimes for a class of just 3-4 people which is stupid. There’s another studio in the gym that is rarely being used where they could easily do many of their classes. Or they could just block off a portion of the area (like the turf) so that other people who have paid to use that area can still get a functional workout in, especially when the classes aren’t even using most of the space/equipment. On top of that, several of the trainers (not all of them) leading the classes are extremely rude when kicking people out of the space which is completely unnecessary. It’s possible for the class-goers and the regular gym-goers to coexist and safely use the area simultaneously.
Finally, where are all the collars for the barbells? I feel like there are about 4 sets of collars for the ENTIRE gym. I know people steal them but, as a business owner in the hospitality space myself, regularly replacing items (especially cheap ones like collars) should easily be baked into your cost of doing business.
Come on Crunch. Get your act together. I’m sure my comments (and the numerous other reviews calling for improvements) will likely fall on deaf ears but who knows, maybe upper management actually cares about more than just signing up as many members as possible regardless of how it affects their loyal customer base. This location offers a lot of classes and has a variety of equipment. But they are not taking care of the equipment cleaning. So much dust and dirt on the cardio, it is gross. And even the window sills are being neglected. It’s not just about the floor but taking care of everything. If I can rate this place zero stars I would. My boyfriend and I go get a membership back in July close to the end of the month they charged us 35 dollars. We end up not wanting to go to the gym we go see how we can cancel it there’s no option to cancel our membership online we called and they said we signed a 3 month contract when we never signed papers or anything. After we arrived we were greeted by a lady at the front desk I told her we did the online 1 day pass. We had intentions to sign up after workout all we wanted is ONE DAY PASS as is post online. Place itself is ok a bit loud sometimes but be aware that you can never cancel your membership unless you lie and tell them you’re moving overseas. I made countless of trips to the gardens location I spend 3 months trying to get them to close my account and they keep saying they need to take one more payment out. I went in due to a friend recommending we try a month to month to see if we liked the gym. I signed up paid $60 up front for the month to month membership which had a no cancellation penalty. After three or four visits we didn't like how crowded it was so I went in to cancel the membership. The manager was a complete jerk in his early 20’s and lied straight to my face and said I signed up for three months. I showed him my CC statements to prove he was wrong. He couldn’t pull up anything about my membership. He refused to cancel it. We paid total $120 for three days in the gym.
On top of that they recently sent the account to collections over a supposed $100 bill that is now 240$ in collections. This company acts in bad faith and lies to members when they sign up. I will be filing a lawsuit against Crunch and anyone who would like to join me is welcome. I will spend thousands just to stop this evil company from harassing and threatening people over a simple $15 a month membership.

They were pushing me to get my membership even though I told them that I would get it a bit later, I just had to wait for something and they were giving me mad faces; also when I got my membership the guy started selling me some trainings that I never needed at the first place; I kindly told them that I would tell them if I needed but for now I was good and I’d pass, the guy tried to sneak in the 10$ charge for the kickoff training . For a corporate gym, it is clean, well managed, and organized. They are actually renovating, adding more space and equipment, and it looks awesome! The trainers here are in phenomenal shape and know how to motivate and transform. I work with Zack, and he has changed my life in the last four months and essentially rebirthed me to a better version of myself well on my way to meet my fitness goals exceedingly faster than I could have ever anticipated. They sent me back without even considering the fact that I had driven all the way there. I even asked them to. Came with my husband as a guest, they FORCED us to sit down and talk to them AND do a tour which I declined twice. They said “it’s standard procedure and other gyms that don’t do it aren’t doing it properly”. First off, if I want the tour that is great because I know someone will help me. Gym culture can be overwhelming and not everyone approaches it the same at all, you want people to feel included and not be intimidated, don’t force them to do things that make them uncomfortable.

Don’t go there. Worst gym ever. Equipment dirty and crowded. Management are so unprepared and unprofessional. They lock you in and they make impossible for you to leave although you are out of the contract window. Cancelled my membership and they continue to charge me. No one seems to able to solve the issue!!!

I love crunch fitness. I switched from a different gym after I moved and I love that this gym actually has great classes. The instructors are great and I only wish I could attend more classes but cannot due to the schedule. I have not had a bad experience here, the staff is friendly, bathrooms are clean and the fitness classes are great!

Went to the front desk to help with my friends membership and the man working was extremely rude. Rude behavior and attitude is totally uncalled for. This is not the first time that the front desk staff has been COMPLETELY unhelpful. Such a great gym with awesome equipment and very unfortunate that the staff is ruining it. Trying to bribe me to purchase the higher membership will not cover up your unprofessional service. Over 30 reviews about the front desk and I am not surprised. Doesnt take much to be kind.

Had an issue with my membership and one of the employees his name was Seth was very rude and unprofessional. Was no help in solving my problem and did the absolute bare minimum. Someone needs to retrain him on proper communication skills. It’s not hard to be kind….

The gym its self is fine, but on the other hand. They give you a hard time about canceling your membership, They misinform you into signing contracts, they take money from you constantly, and try to keep you stuck on agreements even when they tell you that you won’t have to worry about payments or agreements anymore. From looking at the other reviews it’s not the first time they’ve been lying to collect money for the gym. I rather go pay more at a gym that won’t scam

Not so much about the gym but the memberships. They refuse to let you cancel your membership even if you are out of state until you come into the location, sign documents, AND pay for another month that you won’t be using the gym. If you try to cancel between April/May they will not allow you to cancel unless you pay an annual maintenance fee even though I just started two months I'm paying for annual fee like really.... since I’m cancelling they threatened me over the phone to pay save yourself the hassle and find any other gym or do not give them your credit card or personal info cause they will continue to go in you bank account
Work out at home 60 days your pay annual fees and the people at the front desk are so rude

Me and my brother signed up as new members, where we were told that we can sign up for a once off class with a personal trainer. We did the class and decide to sign up for a couple of classes with the trainer. Three months later we are still paying $160 a month for the trainer amd are now being told we committed to a 3 month contract with the trainer. After 3 months we are still paying and it feels like they make it Impossible to stop the payments. My brother canceled his contract with crunch because of the situation and is still getting billed for the sessions with trainer which we aren't even doing anymore.
